In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The Old Mansion, the only place in Twilight Town that mysteries come together as one big piece of a gigantic puzzle. No one even knew who lived in there before, or why is it still standing.
Daniel just arrived in Twilight Town and he wanted to see the old mansion for a while. It's been ages since he last saw the mysterious structure.
"The old mansion... It's been some time since the last time I visited here." He said in a soothing voice.
The brunet glared at the afternoon sky, watching clouds drift by.
"I do wonder, I feel always relaxed in this place, even though I didn't stay here for a long time. Is it because this place is between the light and dark?" He asked himself.
Ahh, finally... Though white was definitely NOT her favorite color, Morrisa sure was appreciating it now. After all, she was finally free of all that pesky noise that tended to bother her back in town. A nice, disturbingly white room with childish pictures. Though black was more her color, she was thoroughly enjoying this peace and quiet. She leaned up against what she thought was a wall, though it turned out to be a window. Moving over a bit, she returned to her book. She grinned slightly (though her face showed little change) as she thought of how contrasting her black outfit was to the white of the room.
Of course, there were other rooms, but the more she moved to the other side of the building, the more he heard mechanical noises. Even in the foyer there was a slight mechanical hum, and it bothered her. When studying magic, after all, it's best to be able to concentrate. Her book, the Compendium of Magic Volume 7: Of Earth and Stone, she'd been studying for quite some time now. It'd been giving her some problems trying to learn the Quake spell, though Aero, the spell she learned before this, took almost no time at all to learn. She figured that she must be aligned to wind, so it would explain why she learned Aero so quickly, and why the spell wind's opposite, Quake, the basic earth elemental spell, was giving her so much more grief than other elements.
Her mind wandered a bit, and she recalled something from the first volume - Magic Basics. It mentioned eight basic elements - Fire, Ice, Lightning, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, and Dark. But... it also mentioned that through conventional magic, Light and Dark are inaccessible. Supposedly they were arcane magics, but such magics disappeared along with Ivalice... Or at least, that's what she'd been led to believe. After all, not a single practitioner of magic that she'd met in her life was capable of wielding light and dark spells. Or rather, none were capable of using the spells in their truest form, or at least a form comparable to black magic. She'd seen gravity, magnet, healing and barrier magic, but none of these were spells that could be called black magic spells... gravity and magnet fell under time and green magics, and healing and barrier spells were white magics. Of course, there wasn't a volume of the compendium that dealt with light or dark, they were simply mentioned. Perhaps, one day she'd figure out a way to wield them herself... or perhaps one of them.
Caxnon had been having a stange feeling about that Mansion for quite some time. He knew what was inside it, but thier was something else that was quite strange about the mansion itself. A dark portal apperead behind the man with brown hair, and the gunblader stepped out.
He first noticed the gate, but then his gaze fell on the man.
''Great another person, please don't attack me, I just came from a fight.'' Caxnon said to him.

((Role, is your character inside the mansion? Because ours are outside.))
After watching the clouds drift by, Daniel felt a presence. A presence of a being. And that being arrived just now, telling him not to attack him.
"Why would I attack you if you're not doing anything suspicious? By the way, are you a resident here? And somehow you look awfully familiar." He said curiously.
"Or maybe it's just my imagination. I'm Daniel. Daniel Zandiora. What's yours?" He asked in a nice way.
But Daniel felt something strange about this man. He felt a presence of a dark portal. He held on his scroll tight not to make him off guard.
"And may I ask if you felt something strange? Like a dark portal being used?" He asked straightly to the Gunblader.
((Yes, she is, but the post was done in a way so that they should notice that someone was inside. The only reason she'd be there is to try to get AWAY from everyone, so feel free to spoil her good mood! She's inside the white room, and due to the dark outfit, kinda stands out quite well. There's also the whole 'leaning on the window' thing that happened. There's many ways you could do this of course, though -- even disturbing her studies simply by chance via wanton destruction or what not. I'll leave the means up to you.))
Morrisa turned a page in her book, reading the words over again, though as she'd read it many many times already, she'd more or less memorized the book already. Because of that, her mind continued to wander. This wasn't that uncommon for her -- she KNEW what to do, she understood how to do it, the problem was the difference between knowing it and DOING it. Knowledge was one thing, but application was something completely different. And she needed to figure out how to apply the spell. So her mind was wandering... this time to when she learned to apply her knowledge to other spells. Fire was somewhat simple, directing it in front and shooting it forward. Blizzard was almost as easy, a fragmented version, shooting the fragments in several directions ahead of her. Thunder called lightning down, water just shot a cone of water in front of her. Aero was easy, cycling the wind around her. Not something she'd attack with, per se, but great for taking out anything that got too close. But Quake? Everything else she could visualize easy, but earth magic starts BELOW the ground... thus her problem... how do you visualize what's going on below the ground? Visualizing what happens above the ground was easy enough, but below the ground wasn't the same... She continued to try and figure out how to get the spell to work as she read over her book...
Hmm. A drak portal, how could he have sensed that? This person must posess strange yet powerful abilities. The last thing he needed was be fight, he wasn't in the mood, and besides he came here to relax. Fighting wasn't on his list.
He had already placed his hand on his weapon's handle before speaking.
'' Yeah I made it. Thats not a problem is it?'' Caxnon said to Daniel.
