In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Bolt felt funny... But not better. His eyes turned blue along with Penny's, and Fearon's gummi ship turned see through again. "Penny... It's the gold dyes... Eyes... that help me..." He said, remembering how it was. But all of a sudden, he didn't feel like he was able to stand anymore. His legs buckled and he fell. It had used up more energy then he thought. "Hurry Penny..." He said weakly. He certainly hated this feeling...
"I'm... sorry." she said falling to one knee, her eyes turning gold. Hey!? Maybe she was developing some control! Yeah! She looked just past Fearon to a tree, which was knocked out of the ground by it's roots. Well, okay, maybe there wasn't any contol. ________________________________________________
Fearon ran over to Bolt when he fell, and gingerly scooped the dog up in his arms, he turned to a now unconicious Penny. "Oh...come on!" he groaned, and ran over to Penny, lightly putting Bolt on the ground, and scooping up Penny by her shoulders, and under he knees. He looked to Bolt, he couldn't pick the dog up. "Come on Bolt, wake up." he said. If Bolt didn't awake, he'd be forced to leave his friend at the mercy of whatever heartless came along.

The small flash of Penny's eyes caused Bolt's eyes to open, turning gold for the short time Penny did. It gave him a little bit of strength... Enough to walk onto the gummi ship. He didn't say a word, not even sure if he knew how to. But he did know he could walk a short distance. However... Shortly after reaching the inside of the gummi ship, Bolt fell down again, eyes closed, and fast asleep. His lightning bolt shaped mark glowed as he started to restore his power. However... he would be out for a much longer time then before. Having quickly regained his power and then not letting it sustain itself before using it caused him to run out quickly. So now it would take a long time as his mind went through his past memories again, and he twitched every now and then.
Fearon walked behind Bolt, making sure the dog didn't fall. Penny in his arms, he followed Bolt up the ramp, and into the gummi ship. When Bolt fell, Fearon jogged over to the bed and laid Penny on the bed. He then ran back over to Bolt, and gingerly picked the superdog up, knowing the dog didn't like to be picked up, he quickly laid him down on Penny's abdomen. She groaned and seemingly consciously, put her hand on Bolt's head, turning her head in her sleep. Fearon ran back over to the landing ramp, and pressed the button to retract it. It came up into the ship, and closed with a mettalic pop. He sighed, and looked back at the two, shaking his head, he walked over to the command chair, and pressed a couple of buttons. The gummis ship rose into the air, dust flying away from it's thrusters, and lifted off, flying out of the atmosphere.

******Much Later: About eight hours********
Penny's eyes blink open, she had a blistering headache and using her elbows leaned up. As soon as she sat up, and saw Bolt, her eyes went gold. She looked around, to see Fearon laying in the floor, asleep. He certainly was eccentric, but somehow, Penny found it refreshing. She looked back down to her dog, and smiled. He was breathing, and twitching here and there, but he was definatly alive still.

Eight hours.... eight hours had passed, and Bolt had just reached the memory of meeting Penny for the first time in the animal shelter. It seemed that as he regained his powers, he had to go through his memories of the past. However, his memories faded near here, and there were only a few more to go. Moving onto the moment when the shelter had found him, nearly dead, he knew there was only a few more left. His lightning bolt mark glowed with a bright light. He was nearly as charged as this could make him.
Now onto when his mother left him... It was a short memory. The final memory... Birth... He was just a tiny little one back then. It was also very short. When it was over, he flashed through every single memory really quickly. What was strange was what came last... It was the picture that Penny had taken before of him, Rhino, Mittens, and herself... But there was something different. A faint image of Fearon had made its way into the picture.
Unfortunately, Bolt didn't have much time to see that image as the picture soon faded. The twitching had finally stopped and Bolt shot up, as he had done before. "Oh.... My head...." He said, feeling very dizzy. He then looked to Penny who was behind him. "You okay?" He asked, hoping she was. What was with that picture though? It was so strange... yet somewhat pleasing... Perhaps they would be able to help him figure it out a bit?
Penny nodded, and held a finger to her lips, she pointed to Fearon, who slept on the ground. Well, what could they expect!? He'd stayed up four five hours into the night worried sick about the two! Although, Penny didnt' know that, and she didn't think Bolt did either. "Just a little headache." she replied quietly. _______________________________________________
Fearon's mind was, well to put it in laymens' terms, hell. Passing images of his mother having her heart ate by heartless, his arms to small to even pick up a blade. He cried in his dreams, the face of who he precieved to be his father, laughing at him. Man he hated that guy. Leaving his wonderful mother behind. He rolled over in his sleep, flames consuming his world. And he quickly went through memories worth four years of training in traverse town, meeting the old man, the daily training sessions. Then, the man dying one day attacked by over one-hundred, Fearon transforming for the first time and massacuring them. He rolled in his sleep.

Well Bolt certainly did owe Fearon for a lot. He then looked sad slightly. He didn't want to leave Fearon behind. They had gotten so much closer in the time that they had spent together. "Penny... I feel bad for him.... He always looks like he feels out of place with the two of us here... It's just... He's become a good friend to me too... I don't want to leave him behind when we have to go back home...." He said, quietly, but still with the sad expression on his face.
He then looked to Penny again and said "You remember the picture you took after the fire on the set, right? The one with me, you, Rhino, and Mittens? Well while I was sleeping... that picture came back into my head. But.... Fearon was also in the picture... what could that mean?" He was confused, but at least kept his voice down so Fearon could get some, what looked to be painful, sleep.
Penny looked to Fearon and to Bolt. "We both owe him a lot." she said, her heart a bit heavy. "We won't leave him. I'm sure mom will let him stay with us, and after all, we still have to find Mittens and Rhino." she said smiling. She leaned foward and kissed Bolt's nose.
Now what? Fearon's subconscious asked, as he skirted through his dreams. Let's give the guy a break it said, and Fearon's dreams suddenly became relaxing. He saw his mother, her arms outstretched. Come to me my son. I'll protect you. she said then...
Not!! his subconsious yelled.
His mother's eyes suddenly began to melt from her head, her skin fell like molten wax from her bones, leaving behind... heartless, lots and lots of heartless, they jumped Fearon, and consumed him.
"AHH!!" Fearon yelled as he bolted up. His face in a cold sweat he looked around. Penny and Bolt were in the bed. He gave an embarassed smile. "Heh, uhh... sorry.

Bolt sensed an odd sadness and heaviness in Penny's voice. Was she actually speaking the truth? Unfortunately, Bolt couldn't dwell on that too much. Fearon had just awoken, and Bolt was right. His sleep was quite painful. Jumping down as he screamed, Bolt walked over to Fearon and said "Hey... Thanks for saving us earlier... But now I have to ask... Where are we?" It was a good question. Seeing as eight hours had passed, where were they now in gummi space?
Penny looked to Fearon when he awoke, yelling. "You okay!?" she asked alarmed. ________________________________________
Fearon nodded. "Yeah, just a dream. he said, breathing heavily. ________________________________________
Penny nodded as Bolt jumped off of her. Hey... Thanks for saving us earlier... But now I have to ask... Where are we? Penny nodded, in agreement. "And not just for saving us, but for everything. For bringing Bolt to me, and for letting us tag-along." ____________________________________________
Fearon looked down to Bolt, and then up to Penny. He took a deep breath, gaining his grounds. He looked around. "Heh, we're in a gummi ship" Fearon laughed, ad shook his head. Yeah, he had a lot of built up pain, but he was a good actor. After he was done laughing, he looked to Bolt. "Seriously though, I don't know. And don't worry about it. What was I to do? Leave you there?" he said, petting Bolt's head. He stood and walked over to his command chair. He hopped up into it, and pulled the command pad to himself. He pressed a couple of buttons, and the map popped up. "Looks like we're not far from Traverse Town." he said, pushed the pad away, and jumped from the control chair, looking to Penny and Bolt. "Traverse Town is a bit like a melting pot for people who lost their worlds. If you lose your world, most of the time you end up here. Not in Penny's case of course." he said ____________________________________________

The words caused Bolt's ears to perk up. People who lost their worlds? Wait... people AND animals? Could Penny's mom, Mittens, and Rhino be on this world? But then why was Penny found on Halloween Town and Bolt was found on Radiant Garden? This was just getting confusing. He didn't even know what to say. So he remained quiet, wishing he had a way to rub his head easily. He had a headache now....
Penny looked to Fearon. "But then why did I end up in that... Halloween town place?" she asked ____________________________________________
Fearon looked to Penny. "Well of course, not all people who lose their worlds end up there. It's a matter of chance really." he said. ____________________________________________
Penny nodded. "So there's a chance that Mittens and Rhino will be there?" she asked, hope building up in her chest. ____________________________________________
Fearon nodded. "It's a possability, definatly not one-hundred percent though." he said. "They could actually be in any one of the worlds." ____________________________________________
Penny nodded and looked to the ground. "Okay then." Well, her hope was just strangled and killed. Poor Penny, she looked to Bolt, then to Fearon. "What are the odds that we'll find them?" _________________________________________
Fearon sighed, he wasn't the greatest at conveying bad news. "I'm not gonna sugar-coat it. The odds aren't good. he said shacking his head. "The odds that they survived the attack on the world is... narrow. The possability that they've survived since then... are remote in the extreme." he said, not wanting to say the words. _____________________________________
Penny stared ahead to Fearon, not wanting to believe the words. She could only imagine what Bolt was going through. After all, the two had helped him get home, or at least, that was Penny's guess. She looked to Bolt.

The words hurt Bolt. They might not have sur... No. They were out there. Bolt knew it. He wasn't sure how, but he knew that they were out there somewhere. "No... Mittens... Rhino... They are out there somewhere. I don't know where, but somewhere." He said, turning around. He just didn't want to hear that Mittens and Rhino might not be out there, so he wasn't going to anymore.
(((Okay... look at the name of the thread. 'A side Quest' Let's do a side quest already, or, we could rename the thread to a plot thread, and just... kick doogie out cause he's just taking forever. What do you think)))
Fearon smiled. "That's why... we're gonna go look for them." Fearon smiled, and looked down to Bolt. "Any friend of your's is a friend of mine. And I don't desert my friends." he said and looked to Penny, and pointed to her. "And the same for you." he said, smiling. ______________________________________
Penny smiled at Fearon's words. Was it just her, or did he seem a whole lot more cheerful? "Thanks Fearon." she said.

Bolt smiled and barked happily. He was actually getting tired of talking. How could humans do it all the time? It seemed exhausting to Bolt for talking. "Hey... How come talking is so exhausting to me? You guys do it so well, but it... exhausts me if I do it too much..." He said. What was strange was that when he first did it, it wasn't that bad. But now... It seemed so much more difficult. There was something going on, and Bolt needed to find out what it was.
