In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Wow, this place was weird! Zedd had never before been to a place that was quite like this! It was mostly wilderness, well, what Zedd wanted to call "wilderness" but it was really just...well, weird! There wasn't really any way to describe it any differently. With all the heart shaped trees, and red and white roses.
Zedd had been exploring this strange new world all day long, but nothing really spectacular, or interesting had happened. No new friends, no fights, well, no spectacular fights, there had been a few really little fights with some shadow heartless, but other than that, nothing. Wait, it seems that someone had caught Zedd's eye. Why? He had no idea, so he took a second look, and then he realized he had never seen this person before.

Why was Maleficent on this world? She wasn't entirely certain. She figured that there was something here that she needed, but she wasn't entirely sure. Wandering the world, slowly at that, Maleficent stood still at some point to look around. Diablo rested on her shoulder. "I am weary, my pet. Go... Search the world for an object worthwhile, and do not fail me."[/color] She said, releasing her raven. He flew off through the world to find something. She then continued to stand, looking around at what she could do to this world.
This lady that had caught Zedd's eye was quite unusual. Not only did she dress wierd, and have a glowing wierd staff, but she also had a bird on her shoulder. And not just any bird, but a raven. She also seemed to talk to this bird! Well, she looks kinda evil, so better to be safe then unprepared! So, as Zedd shifted his staff to a more ready position, he murmered, "Aeroa"
Hopefully this lady hadn't seen/heard Zedd, so, hoping that she hadn't, and also hoping to be able to get a better cover, incase a fight did happen, Zedd quickly moved off into the shadows, behind the bushes. As he was casting that spell, he saw the bird fly off of the ladies shoulder, and into the sky, then as he was moving off to the side, he saw that the lady was looking around. Hopefully Zedd was in the bushes before she looked his way.

Maleficent heard a noise. Seemed someone was watching her. "Why... Do not hide from me. I will not harm you, child. Come on out. Do not be afraid."[/color] She said, hoping Zedd would come out. If not, she would most likely just start attacking him. Granted, she would probably do that anyway, but at least she would make him less suspecting of her attacks.
"Will not harm me? Yea, right!" Zedd thought. Again, it's better to be safe then sorry, so Zedd held his staff in a defensive position, as he slowly made his way out of where he had hidden himself. This lady looked like she was going to be a threat, and until proven otherwise, Zedd treated her as such.

Seemed words were not enough to convince him that Maleficent did not mean any harm. And he did not know who she was? The insolence... Seems children these days were not properly educated. However, he did have a staff... Perhaps he was a magic user? "Who am I? Why... I am Maleficent... Perhaps you've heard of me... And your staff... Might you be a magic user, young one?"[/color] She said, slowly walking toward him. "I am a user of magic as well. Perhaps we could find a... companionship out of this little gathering..."[/color] She said. Companion? Yeah right.. Maleficent was a firm believer of 'If you want something done, you have to do it yourself.'
A companionship? Yea, right, this lady, Maleficent, still seemed like the dangerous, enemy type, so Zedd was still going to treat her as such. Hopefully Maleficent wasn't all that powerful, although she looked quite powerful. Hopefully this wouldn't come down to a fight, but if it did, hopefully it would end well enough.
"Yes, I am a magic user, but a companionship? I don't know about that..."
