In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Fearon laid, stretched out, on the beach, relaxing in the sun rays, the ocean breeze, and the soundwaves the... well waves made. He took in a deep breath, and opened his eyes to see the red twilight sky. He sat up, drawing his foot closer, and used his knee as a arm rest as he sat. He stared to the resting sun, glittering on the ocean surface, painting the clouds red. "Beautiful." he said and smiled.
Time seemed to fly by after her encounter. She traveled a while trying to get some information of where she was at pretty much the whole time and quickly it became late. Now she was making her way to a beach that someone had mentioned. What could the harm be? It wasn't like she had anywhere else to go or had another other belongings than the things she carried in her small pouch and her sword. What was even worse was that she found out that the little amount of money she had on her was void in this place. She sighed and made her way across the beach sand she finally came across. Sun was setting and here, it looked magnificent. If it wasn't for these heartless creatures she had to worry about, this whole place would be like paradise.
Momentarily, she closed her eyes as she walked and breathed the salty air in through her nostrils deeply, filling her lungs. Opening her eyes, she looked down the beach and saw a figure sitting. Wonder who that could be... Well, of course no one i would know... but still. As she walked, she kept glancing at the figure, keeping a good distance away from them so it didn't seem to creepy, but close enough to see the person. Maybe it was someone she had met earlier. And sure enough, it was. The figure had seemed familiar enough as the girl reared closer, but once close enough, she found it to be Fearon. Now the decision came to going over there or to keep walking. After debating it with herself, it was decided that she'd visit the guy.
At his side, Ria bent over at her waist to look at him, flipping her hair out of the way and placing her hands on her knees to prop her up. "Beautiful is right." She smiled at him. "Hey again."
Fearon was so concentrated on taking in the beauty of the sunset he didn't notice Ria bend near his face.
Beautiful is right. Hey again.
Fearon jumped a bit at the sudden voice, and turned his head to Ria, and smiled. "Ria! How's it been?" he asked, and then remembered. He looked around, and not seeing the rude guy, gave a sigh of relief. Fearon had learned to appreciate friends, for you never knew when you was goin' to see them again. He'd known that from expirance.
Ria laughed to his reaction and happy that he wasn't disappointed to see her... Something that she so hoped wouldn't have happened and something that almost made her decide not to come visit him. Knowing that, it felt like a small weight was lifted from her shoulders. "I'm um..." she stopped and thought for a second. "Now, is that a rhetorical/short answer question or do you want me to actually tell you?" She raised her eye brow in question and smiled. In a way she was playing. "And when I do tell you- that is, if that's what you're asking, do you want me to hold back on some details? ...Just to ask so I don't start thinking to much." she added a small shrug with a toothy, white grin. Slowly, she swayed a little. Obviously, she was very happy.
Fearon's eyes wandered to the left as she spoke, and he stood, when she was done. "You just gotta always have fun don't you?" he asked with a chuckle. "How about you just give me what you've been up to since our last encounter?" he asked, and looked to her grin. "You have a beautiful smile, you know that?" he asked her, and hey, he wasn't lying. It definatly was beautiful. He ran a hand through his hair, and looked out to the ocean. Heh, he seemed to just be surrounded by beautiful things today.
Even after he stood she stayed in her position momentarily, taking in what she heard. Did she hear wrong? Ria replayed it a couple of times in her head quickly just to make sure she heard right. "I have a....?" she whispered softly to herself, kinda confused. She slapped herself right mentally. Clam down el stupido. He was just commenting on your smile. Straightening herself up seconds after his statement, she giggled. "Well, Thanks. I appreciate the comment." Another smile couldn't help but appear again. It was nice... For someone to compliment like that... She hadn't heard something like that in a while.
Her head tilted slightly to the side and her hands latched together behind her back as she looked at him. "Hmm... So to say, I found out a little about the town itself. Asked some shop keepers and stuff. They helped me out a bit, too." She looked out to the ocean too and thought for a moment. Her thoughts and ideas seemed to have vanished. "Heh.. I guess nothing to significant happened. Didn't run into any of these heartless creatures luckily.." Boy was she failing at trying to keep a conversation up. Regardless if it just started. If she kept going like that, the whole thing would go ker-plunk. "...So, what about you?" she added quickly.
((yes, i meant the mistakes that are there in her thoughts. =D and sorry for... anything that's wrong ^^; ))
Fearon listned to her explanation of what had happened to her during his absence. He nodded at the approporiate times, and chuckled a bit then...
...So, what about you?
Fearon took a breath and looked to the sky, then back down to Ria. "Not much. What I've always done, killed heartless, traveling from world to world. Blah, blah, blah. Same old, same old." he said and shrugged. He could tell that his compliment had put her in a pretty awkward position, well, actually it must've seemed creepy, them being on the beach during sunset and everything. "Hey, look, if I put you in any awkwardness. I apologize." he said.
"Huh? Oh! Oh, no." She laughed to the apology and waved her hand in the air. "Don't worry about it. I'm just not used to hearing things like that, that's all." Ria smiled and gave a small shrug. If she hadn't just met the guy a couple of hours earlier, she would have asked if he meant it.. Just for a double check confirmation. Instead, she thought about the shopkeepers from earlier and that he said he traveled from world to world killing heartless.
A small wind blew and her hand went to her forearm to rub across it, her smile fading. "Sorry to be all depressive and everything but..." She glanced at the ocean, the sand and then straight to his face. "Do the worlds really disappear...? I mean... Is that why I'm here? Because mine disappeared?" She couldn't help but ask it. It was something that had been on her mind all day after she heard it from the shopkeepers. Suddenly she looked confused. "Why didn't I disappear too?"
Fearon swallowed, and nodded. The mood of the encounter had just pulled a one-eighty on them and went from happy, to rather depressive. He sighed."Yeah, the heartless got a hold of your worlds heart, and took it. You woke up here, and I presume that's when we met." he said, his hair billowing in the wind slightly as he stood. "Cold?" he noticed she was rubbing her arm, and being the gentleman he was, was fully prepared to offer her his jacket.
Why didn't I disappear too?
Fearon looked into Ria's eyes, then out to the ocean. "The same reason I didn't when my world was swallowed. You've got a stong heart." he said, and looked back to her.
Ria listened closely to what he said, thinking it all over. She crossed her arms over her chest to keep the heat she had left close. "Nah, I'm good." Again she thought all of it over, putting things together just for her own confirmation. "So.... Bah. Don't wanna ramble..." Ria paused momentarily and rambled anyway.. More or less on accident "That means that... the world has hearts... and ours was weak. Maybe because of all the corruption? Not the case for all I'm sure... Sadness? All the factors that don't bring 'light'.." She shook her head and began rambling again to herself. After a bit, she caught herself. "Oh my gawsh... I'm sorry!" Immediately she face-palmed and laughed at what she did, completely embarrassed. She looked around quickly through her fingers and spotted and bird. "Look there! It's a bird!" she said pointing at it. Anything for a distraction.
And just like that, she had a case of the giggles. "Gawd... I just..." She said in between giggles. Really, she had no sentence to say. Holding her stomach, she shook her head. The thought of her rambling, embarrassing herself and then putting a random sentence in for a distraction just seemed so frivolous. What a turn from depressing. Not that that was bad. Through an open eye she looked back over at Fearon, laughing. "Ya think the water is to cold?"
Fearon looked to her as she rambled on, trying to... what accept the fact? He didn't know, and hey, it was a big peice of info to chew all in one bite. He sighed, thinking that she'd break down and start to cry or something, but wrong. Instead, she decided to go ADHD on him and point out a bird. He looked, and nodded. "Yeah, it's a bird." he nodded. She was obviously trying not to depress him with depressing subjects. Then, she started to laugh uncontrollably, and then, he laughed. The two, stood on the beach, laughing for no apparent reason. Passerby must've thought that the two were crazy.
Ya think the water is to cold?
Fearon, still laughing, shook his head. "It set's under the sun all day. Trust me, it's not cold." he said, continuing to laugh.
She stiffled a laugh. "Mister, the ocean can sit under the sun all day and still be cold to me right now. It's chilly out now!" Ria laughed. "But only one way to find out!" She unfastened her blade and laid it across the sand. Better than risk getting salt water on it. Quickly she rolled up her pants legs and darted to the water line. As soon as her toes hit the water she let out a squeak in surprise- "EEP!"
The water was still a little chilly for her but it was probably because she was hotter than the water itself. Ria darted back from the the water as the water rushed up. "Don't get my pants wet!" she exclaimed to Fearon but more so the water. Her white pants were decently thick enough but they were still white. With taking the small chance, she just wanted to get her feet and ankles wet. With a safe distance at the water line, she looked back to Fearon and gave a large smile like she just had a thought. She did. She ran up to him and tugged on his arm, trying to bring him forward. "Join me!" And as if to give him a choice, Ria ran back to the water. With a glance back, to check on his choice she kicked around in the water holding on to her pants legs. She was in another world outside of the new world. It was like life started over again.

Fearon sat there, his legs drawn up the his chest, his chin setting on his knees. He blinked watching her. He smiled a bit at her surprised EEP!" and couldn't help but giving a small chuckle. Yeah, being around Ria definitely made him feel good. Like... a warmth in his chest that wouldn't leave, not as long as he was around her. Then again, he didn't want it to. He only so rarely felt good, and this was one of those times. He tiltnd his head, laying his left cheek on his knees. He watched her at the waters edge. Pull up her pant legs and walk into the water. He smiled as the water came up in a rush as it grasping for her ankles, the smile widened as she jumped back.
"Don't get my pants wet!"
Fearon couldn't help but laugh. That was just to priceless. She was yelling at the water! His fingers unclasped and his laughing died down to a mere chuckle as he spread his legs in front of him, crossing his right over his left. Then, she had done something he wasn't exactly expecting. She looked back to him and gave a large smile. He cocked his head the feeling in his chest burning a bit more. What was going through her mind he wandered looking to that smile. It literally told him that something was going through her mind. And when she turned and ran toward him that confirmed his suspicions. She grabbed and tugged on his arm.
"Join me!" she said and turned and ran back. He blinkblinked and cocked his head. She had given him a choice he knew, but... that was against his nature. He knew, however, that if he didn't that it'd hurt her. Even so, he smiled. He kicked off his shoes and slipped out of his jacket revealing the sleeves underneath the black. The shirt's sleeves covered his arm down to his elbow. Standing to his full height he walked down the beach, down toward Ria.
Along the way, the burning in his chest grew more and more apparent. When he finally got to her side, it was so bad it was nearly restricting his breathing patterns. His lungs got tight, and his blood rushed under his skin. Even so, the only look on his face was that of happy contempt. He was smiling as he stood there, looking out to the ocean, and to Ria out of his peripheral vision.
Today was a beautiful day, for more reasons than the sunset.
Ria re-rolled her pants legs up to her knees tightly so that they would stay better. She didn't know exactly what had gotten into her. That whole 'seeming like life started over for her' thing seemed true enough. It also seemed that a new person was brought out by this place... and maybe the people here? Whatever it was, she enjoyed the feelings that flowed through her. The past on the other world, she did not wish for and the new knowledge she acquired did not settle in enough to decipher completely. Well, it was there and she knew it but it didn't bother her. Must've been the mature side keeping it cool.
Her legs danced in the water happily and little splashes of water hit her calves with specks of sand inside them. How sweet the feel was. Fearon joined her at the waters edge and she slowed to a sway. Her head tilted as she looked at him, wondering what he was thinking about. He looked like.. well, he looked happy. But she didn't know exactly what else. It was a funny feeling but she chose not to dissect it any more than she had. She, instead, chose to take a step closer to him as the suns body dipped completely behind the horizon, taking its final rays of light with it. "Not one to dance on the beach?" she asked with a smile.

((lol, trust me, I've seen worse, hell I've DONE worse. It's fine ^^))
He laughed slightly as he watched her dance on the beach. His smile getting bigger as he shook his head; his shoulders shaking with his slight laughter. Eventually, he looked to the ground shaking his head. His long hair fell in front of his face obscuring his eyes. Reaching up, he stroked the stands back behind his ear and looked up to her.
"Not one to dance on the beach?"
He blinked, and looked away for a second. Reaching up with is right hand he rubbed the back of his head before smiling sheepishly. The thing was, Fear never learned HOW to dance. He was honestly at a loss, and could feel his heart pounding in his chest. Would she consider him strange or something? Or would it be better to try and fake it? He blinked and mentally sighed. Lying to friends was never a good idea.
"I- uhm... don't know how." he said and bit his lip looking down slightly. He felt slightly ashamed to admit it, maybe he was just being stupid. Ria was to nice and... well Ria-ish to think he was stupid or something cause he couldn't dance. And... why the hell did he care so much? As if in response the burning in his chest grew even more. The blood rushed under his skin and his palms began to sweat. What the hell was going on?
He blinked and looked up to her, to that smile. He smiled slightly in return, he couldn't help it. Seeing her smile like that just brought such a feeling, it was indescribable. It was like a pulling, or a pushing. Like someone pulling at something within his chest, twisting his muscles. It sounded painful, but it actually felt wonderful. Fearon had to say it was the greatest feeling he'd felt in a long time... the best ever maybe.
