In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

What better place is there to find battle keen heroes with legendary weapons? None. The Olympus Coliseum was it, the place Gilgamesh was looking for.
The very slight breeze that blew through the vacant arena began to pick up as the wind seemed to be sucked into one position. Suddenly, in that very spot, a tiny orb of swirling darkness appeared. Well, if you could call it darkness. It was black, of course, but you couldn't feel an eriee or evilness coming from it. It was as if it was nothing at all. Yet, it could be seen; it could be seen growing into a portal, from which a strange man leapt out. He dropped out of his portal with an unbalanced stumble, almost falling over his own feet with a gasp. Gilgamesh reagined his balance and turned his head, watching as the Void behind him dissolved and faded away.
Following a deep sigh, Gilgamesh stretched his arms out infront of him and interlocked each of his fingers. A succession of clicks followed as each piar of arms pushed out, one after the other. He then swung his arms around a bit, loosening his shoulders before allowing all six of his arms to drop to his sides. Gilgamesh hadn't booked a match, he didn't even know who ran this place. However, someone would turn up eventually. He just hoped it wouldn't be too long...
Powerful winds began to pick up within the nearly empty arena. Indeed. This six-armed red monster wasn't the only person searching for a challenge. Sitting where the audience are supposed to be, was a knight. Art, the metallic titan. He was sitting where he was for quite a while, cooly wrapping his fingers around his dagger. He had been patiently waiting for SOMEONE to come ...... but not anyone so ..... strange. I mean, Art has encountered undead pirates, heart-hungry shadows, and even talking ducks. All of these from bizzare worlds ...... but never has he seen a multi-armed dude like this. Whoever this giant was, he'd possibly prove to be a real fight. Of coarse, Art might more likely be the victor.
The metal knight roared loudly as a greeting to the red giant. Art, guiding the winds around himself, glided down to the arena, quickly stumbling back onto the stone floor. The shuriken designs on his green robe began to spin around. He was only 10 feet away from behind the red monster. "Hmph .... YOU'RE definitley a good example of the word 'stranger' .... What brings you here? Freak?" He boomed out in a metallic voice, muffled up by his surrounding helmet. The knight didn't expect a nice chat, but a nice battle. Talking to the Goat Man, Art was promised an opponent. And a better idea ..... Art wanted universal conquest ..... a big red beast would be a fine addition to start up his own henchman army. If he can prove himself in a fight of coarse.
Sure enough, an opponent had made themself known. He was already here before Gilgamesh, he just must have missed him as he was spit out of his portal. But, he didn't care, this 'man' would do for now. Though, when Gilgamesh's gaze did fall upon his foe, he came to realise that his opponent was not a man but a suit of armor. He couldn't see a single bit of flesh, only metel and a green robe.
'Stranger' and 'Freak', he could talk. He wasn't exactly the most normal guy either. Walking, talking pieces of metal weren't exactly common.
"Hold your tounge, tinman, you're in the pressence of greatness."
Gilgamesh replied with equal disdain. Following this, he out stretched four of his arms with open hands. A cloud of darkness filled them suddenly, and as the thick smoke drifted and faded away, four identical katanas were left in his grip.
"The time for talking is over. You are here to face me, GILGAMESH!"
Gilgamesh ..... TINman ..... This newcoming monster would prove to be quite an interesting opponent. Seeing the powers this 'Gilgamesh' used to summon his weapons. Was it ..... void? ...... empty? Art wondered. Was this being among and on par with Nobodies? Or was he something else entirely? Something stronger. Something like Art himself? No matter, it will take a true battle of anger to reveal such juicy info. AND to recruit a possible henchman.
"You're asking for it ..... If I break one of those arms, don't cry." Art slowly unsheathed his dagger. His weapon of choice. The godly knight held out both arms the same way that Gilgamesh did with his arms when summoning his weapons, undoubtfully, mocking the red six-armed monster. Art then held up his dagger.
"Can you fight me while your entire head is facing the opposite direction?" The godly knight said in a booming, mocking voice. Art's dagger extended up to a couple feet. The point of his blade was just barely touching Gilgamesh's throat. His sword then quickly shortened to 1 feet long. This was when Art spun his metal head around, facing backwards. He laughed victorously at his foe.
Gilgamesh seemed to completely miss Art's comments, not responding to either. Though, truth be told, he did listen but chose not to answer. After all, he wasn't making much sense; why would Gilgamesh feel the need to fight with head backwards?
However, Gilgamesh did respond to the threatening blade-to-the-throat act the knight performed. After Art was stupid enough to turn is head, the six-armed self-proclaimed swordmaster made his first attack...
Currently wielding four katanas, this left Gilgamesh with two free hands - these were his 'middle' hands which remained in a fairly still position. Whereas his top and bottom pairs of arms swung the four identical weapons at Art. He did these four strokes to form a cross; diagonally slashing down with the top two for his opponent's shoulders and swinging the other two diagonally up aimed to collided at Art's waist height.
Since the knight's head was, for no apparent reason, backwards, Gilgamesh was under the asumption that Art couldn't see what was going on. Though, Gilgamesh was skeptical. Perhaps he could still see? Perhaps he had other means of preparing for oncoming attacks? Either way, he was prepared to defend himself in the event of a counter-attack and wasn't neccesarily expecting this initial attack to connect...
Hmph. Foolish Gilgamesh. Underestimating the godliness of ART will do nothing for the red monster. While the knight's helmet was facing backwards, he still saw Gilgamesh's attack coming straight at him like a nuke. An immortal has no need for eyes, is one of the couple hundred things Art would boast on about himself. The godly knight quickly calculated ...... what ways could he parry, block, or even counterattack Gilgamesh's little 'X-slash'. Move his arms up here ..... strike his sword down there ........ No. The godly knight could almost chuckle. He had a better plan.
"GRAAAAAAWR!!!" A booming metallic voice raged out of Art's helmet. His left hand quickly grabbed Gilgamesh's top right arm. While Art's sword clashed with Gilgamesh's top left sword. As expected, the knight didn't block the two lower swords from their slash.
"Ffffff ..... GRAW!!" Art decided it was time to let out an angered sign of what was called pain. Gilgamesh's other two swords smashed against the knight's metal armor. He almost felt like punching the multi-limbed geek in the kisser .....
Art tried to punch ///// but in a goofy manner, his own fist swung around and slammed against his metal head. The force of the blow was strong enough to spin the knight's helmet back in place, and knock himself against the ground. Nice. Art slowly got up, staggering like a drunk. "Gee-Whiz! Y-you .... You're str-strength is so ...... Perhaps I ca-can't b-b-beat you!"
Only one thing came in to Gilgamesh's head as he watched how things played out; 'What an idiot'. Not only did he get hit by two out of four initial attacks, but he somehow managed to punch himself in the face and fell to the floor. Gilgamesh couldn't help but let out a small laugh.
"Gee-Whiz! Y-you .... You're str-strength is so ...... Perhaps I ca-can't b-b-beat you!"
Gilgamesh was simply confused by this statment. How stupid can a man get? Did he really not realise that he had hit himself? Or, was this some sort of trick? Either way, Gilgamesh was planning on taking advantage of Art's dizzy state...
With another puff of thick black smoke, another weapon appeared in Gilgamesh's grip, this time a large sword held in both of his 'middle' arms. This was the largest sword Gilgamesh had in his arsenal - the Buster Sword; a weapon once wielded by a hero by the name of Cloud Strife. Now, with a huge pull-back, Gilgamesh swung the massive blade with all his might from right to left like a baseball shot in hope of striking the knight in the side and knocking him back off of his feet.
The multi-armed fighter wasn't going to take any chances. Even if this knight was genuinely that stupid and had practically given up because he hit himself, Gilgamesh would still do the same if he thought it was a trick. He was planning on battering this man until he couldn't stand; Gilgamesh came here for a fight, and he was going to get one, whether the opponent stood a chance or not...
A small shine of interest had flickered through Art's mind when he saw his red opponent introduce yet another sword in battle. What is this guy? Some kinda blacksmith? Sword collector? Either way, this will turn out interesting. If Art's own hypothesis works, then by the end of this fight, all weapons can some how go over to his own side.
From the beginning, it was quite obvious that there was nobody in the audience ...... no crowd to watch the fight ...... no cheering fans ...... Quite boring actually. Art had his fun and games introducing himself in this coliseum battle, no matter how stupid it looked, atleast the audience wasn't there to see such an event. But playtime should've been over from the beginning. If Gilgamesh is going to insult Art with such an obvious attack, then the six-armed freak is gonna have to learn humiliation.
Strong gusts of wind began to pick up in the battle field. Art's own sword extended to just about the same size as Gilgamesh's Buster blade. Before the multi-armed monster could strike him, Art swung his sword, blocking the incoming attack. Then with his other arm (right one), he created a small spiralling twister. Gilgamesh was so close. The dude could just get swallowed by Art's tornado and sent spiralling into the wall! "Nothing!"
Well, it hadn't worked. The knight had defended the attack and countered quickly. He must not have been as dazed as he first appeared.
With the mini-twister arising at such close range, there wasn't much Gilgamesh could do about it. However, luckily for him, he was particularly heavy being so tall and having extra limbs. Obviously, this didn't stop him from being taken off of his feet, but he wasn't thrown as far and hard as others would have. Gilgamesh was pulled up and thrown aside by the speedy rush of winds, spiralling through the air uncontrollably. Suddenly, just before he was to make contact against the wall, a hazy portal emerged within it. Only just making it inside, Gilgamesh clipped his foot on the wall as he was consumed by the darkness.
The exit portal from which Gilgamesh was spat back out of the Void immediately appeared not far behind Art. The last second plan was to attack his opponent from behind, but with that poor performance, it wasn't happening. Gilgamesh fell out of the dark and rolled to an uncomfortable stop behind Art. Perhaps that wasn't the best result. It definately wasn't what he was hoping for.
Gilgamesh pulled himself up to his feet and took a few steps back, putting a little space between the two combatants. The following move hadn't worked, but Gilgamesh was still prepared to continue on...
"That's an interesting sword you carry. I'm sure that it would make a fine addition to my collection. How about we make a bet? Winner takes the sword...?"
Art found little amusement with Gilgamesh's reaction to the knight's own attack. I mean, really. This multi-arm man LOOKS tough ..... but this fight seems too easy. Heck, it's just the beginning of the fight! Although, the godly knight does like Gilgamesh's little deal here ..... that would raise the stakes. Even so, Art shouldn't be too picky when it comes to recruiting. Even if it's by force or gamble of fate.
The empty knight made a few steps forward, a metallic roar following each step. Art showed no fear at all with the red monster's deal. Victory was too easy to achieve anyhow. Mineaswell entertain this event for an even tougher battle to come.
"Hmph. "I see nothing in my interest .... Perhaps .... If you win, oh glorious gilgamesh, you can walk away with my blade." Art made a loud smirk at such an idea. "If I win, your soul and will shall be in my hands. You will be the first in my evergrowing army, Gilgamesh ..... I suggest not to pass such an offer. The honour of serving me is great." The knight said this with much emphasis on the six-armed monster's failure in battle.
Without another word, Art quickly dashed infront of Gilgamesh, using some powerful winds to make a suit of armor "fly". He then quickly proceeded to stab at Gilgamesh's collar bones. This would certainly disable the beast to little use, but Art can find ways at healing such an injury once Gilgamesh becomes a minion.
With Art flying forward into another attack, Gilgamesh didn't have much time to think over deal. Though, he didn't have to. Gilgamesh was a sword collector, he wouldn't pass up the chance to gain another blade - not one as unique as this.
In response to Art's attack, the six-armed combatant pulled his weapons up and crossed them over one another to form a sort of shield across his shoulder area. This protected him from the crippling blow as he hopped back, both to absorb impact without a strain and to put a little distance between him and the knight for a second.
"I accept your terms. I bet my 'services' for your pretty sword. Deal?"
Gilgamesh assumed that he would agree, since he stated the terms of this gamble. But he was just making sure that the deal was clear and agreed to properly. In his mind the worst result would be to win and then not end up getting the weapon - it would just be time wasted. He just hoped this knight had some sort of honour.
But now, with a sword (and his freedom) on the line, it was time for Giglamesh to get serious. He just HAD to win this battle now. So, it was time for a drastic change in weaponry; he needed to be fully equiped with the best of the best. His katanas were consumed in thick smoke and were replaced by a complete new set of six various swords: Tidus' Brotherhood, Cloud's Buster Sword, Zidane's Orichalcon, Odin's Zantetsuken, Sephiroth's Masamune, and finally, Squall's Revolver Gunblade. He was left wielding an arsenal of legendary weapons, fakes of course, but some looked more authentic than others. Unless Art had seen any of these weapons' authentic counterparts in person, he probably wouldn't notice they were mere copies.
However, this wasn't the time for boasting about such a large collection of swords, no, it was time for the fight to truly begin. It was serious now - Gilgamesh had a reason to fight now. So, he did...
With a quick dash, Gilgamesh got back into melee range and immediately attacked. He had previously crossed all his arms over each other so that when he got close enough, he would strike like three pairs of scissors all at once. The blades would most likely strike at slightly different times during the seconds of the attack with their varying shapes, sizes and weights, but only a spiit second apart. It would be extremely difficult to defend against them, but how would Art deal with the incoming assault...?
