In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Zedd had heard of the Underdrome while he was up on Olympus. He hadn't until now had the time, nor opportunity to see it. And now he wasn't only seeing it, he was also participating in a tournament held in it! Now, he found out that he was fighting Marluxia. He had met him once before, and at the time, he was under the impression that he was a good guy. Little did he know (even now!) that Marluxia was actually a nobody in the Organization XIII. All Zedd knew about Marluxia is that he was able to summon nobodies, and he had a wicked looking scythe, and he could control flowers. You would think that a person who controlled flowers wouldn't be that good of a fighter, but when it came to Marluxia, you would be sadly mistaken.
So, Zedd mentally prepared himself for the fight that was about to arise while he was being ferried over to the actual arena. He was hoping that he would be able to get to the next round, but his hopes weren't high. After the last battle with Lexaeus, and Seed, he began to doubt his own power. It was never a good thing to do, but well, sometimes it happened.
Finally, Zedd was able to get off of the little boat, and step onto the arena. It looked like Marluxia hadn't yet shown up, but Zedd didn't allow himself to get his hopes up that Marluxia wouldn't show up. So, with that, he waited, mentally preparing himself for the battle that was soon to come.
Tch. How did Marluxia get dragged into this little fight is beyond him. Hades is a really good at convincing people that's for sure. Marluxia walked down the stairs of leading into the Underworld and gazed upon the Underdrome. Letting out a sigh he enveloped himself in darkness and transported himself to his fight.
Appearing in a corner of the Arena Marluxia let down the hood of his cloak. He didn't bother learning who his opponent was. He actually didn't care. With a look around he saw that is was Zedd, that boy he met in Traverse Town. Ironic.
Summoning his scythe Marluxia asked, "I see our fates of crossed again Zedd. May it be a fair fight." Fair fight? With Marluxia? Fat chance.
"I see our fates of crossed again Zedd. May it be a fair fight."
Well, atleast Marluxia was being nice before the battle began! Hopefully he would be nice during the battle too! But probably not. So, since Marluxia didn't look like he was going to do anything, Zedd began the fight by casting a few defensive spells."Aeroa, Hastera!", Zedd mumbled, then louder he said, "Yes, a fair fight indeed! Firaga!"
With those spells, Zedd held his staff in defensive position, ready to make it transform into a sword if need be!
Marluxia heard the booming voice and smirked. Lets see if this child will at least provide a challenge. With his focus still on Zedd, Marluxia looked around his surroundings. A barrier and a bottomless pit. Nice. His eyes snapped back to the location of Zedd to see a Firaga ball coming at him. Too easy to dodge. Quickly putting Full Bloom back to the Twilight Marluxia gave a simple twisting jump into the air and leaped over the fire as it came to pass underneath him.
"I'm sure you remember this." Marluxia said as he stopped spinning and shot off his a stream of razor Rose petals at Zedd. For some reason a Sunflower petal fell to the ground out of Marluxia's sleeve. It's purpose would be known only to XI himself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ (Posting issues came up but here)
Reflera huh? No matter. Marluxia has more tricks up his sleeve, like that seemingly harmless Sunflower petal that fell to the ground. The force of the Rose Petal attack kept XI afloat slightly has he gave a simple finger twitch and the Sunflower petal grew to the size of a desk and shot out at the spells. It was only able to reach the Fire and Thunder spell. The petal enveloped the spells and the instant it (the spells) were trapped the petal flew as high as it could before the barrier stopped it and exploded. A muffled explosion of course. The Blizzard magic was met by Full Bloom, Marluxia had summoned it the instant the petal flew off. The top of the blade froze over a bit.
"Don't rely on your magic so much Zedd." Marluxia said to his foe as he softly hit Full Bloom on the ground and shattered the ice. Giving a slight chuckle Marluxia vanished. Not into a portal, but into thin air, only to appear directly behind Zedd. He whispered both a blessing and a curse into his ear and those simple words activated his most dangerous ability.
((OK, that is not cool! GRR! Since it is rarely used, you probably should have waited 'till a later round to use it though! So HA!))
Unfortunately, Marluxia was able to block every single spell that Zedd had used. And then as soon as he blocked Zedd's ice spell, instead of attacking, he...vanished. And then, he appeared behind Zedd and whispered something to him. Hearing his voice, Zedd spun around, swinging his staff. But as it was swinging, it became a sword.
Zedd knew that his attack most likely would miss. Unfortunately for Marluxia, Zedd had decided to follow his advice, and use his sword now. Hopefully he would be able to go more on the defensive side, and wear out Marluxia.
((Now, I have no idea what to put for the number that should appear over Zedd's head...so I'm just gonna leave that up to you....))
Marluxia had already moved out of the swords way as the green vines reached over Zedd's heart and the Seal of a Nobody flickered in front of him. A number shot up. 67. Such a high number for a magic user. Then again the number represents how strong your best fighting style is.
"67. That number goes to 0 and you die." Marluxia explained as he took out Full Bloom again and tapped it on the ground. Slowly some of Marluxia's energy was transferred to the ground for an attack that would be used later. But time to dwindle that number down a bit, Throwing Full Bloom directly above him Marluxia gave another wave of his arms and more Rose Petals flew at Zedd.
(For ever 20 rose petals that hit Zedd the number goes down by 1.)
Yup, of course, Zedd's attack had missed. And then he heard Marluxia tell him something else.
"67. That number goes to 0 and you die."
Huh? What number? Zedd thought. Then, looking up, he saw the number 67 above his head. Good thing it is a reasonably high number, Zedd thought. And then he saw some more rose petals shoot at him! More rose petals?! Come on! Doesn't he attack any other way?
Zedd would probably later regret thinking that, but for now, he had to worry about the rose petals shooting at him. Earlier when he had missed Marluxia, his sword had transformed back into a staff, so standing his ground, Zedd said, "Reflera!" Then, he let some of the petals hit his shields. Some of them shot back directly at Marluxia, but others shot off at random directions, and yet more had gotten past the shields! So, Zedd quickly dove to the right. (A total of 15 petals hit him)
Realizing he would have to get personal with Marluxia, he ran at him, yelling, "Thundera! Firaga!" Then, once he got close enough to Marluxia, his staff transformed into a sword yet again, and he swung at Marluxia. He knew that if he wanted to even hurt Marluxia he would need to get in close, because Marluxia's scythe was much longer than Zedd's sword. So, he pressed as close to Marluxia as he could trying to hurt him.
Marluxia's plan was going perfect. He just needed to push Zedd just a bit further, then the trap would spring. Marluxia extended his arm and the rose petals stopped in their place and fell to the ground. Why would someone try and use a Nobodies own element against them? The same idiotic logic would be a fire ball being launched at a Red Nocturne or Crimson Jazz. Surely this magic user knew this. But with his constant barrage of magic spells Marluxia's plan would take longer to come to fruition.
"I see you pay no attention to help given. What an unfortunate denouement." Marluxia said as he tossed up a couple of Roses flowers into the air. A swirl of pink energy gathered at the tip, then as quick as sound lasers poured out of them and directed at Zedd. Full Bloom had come crashing down on top of the fire and lightning spell and small explosion occurred sending the weapon flying away. Making a ting sound as it hit the shield. But there was still the sword about 2 feet from Marluxia's face, how to counter? Simple...a Sunflower petal. The small yellow petal came flying out of the sleeves of XI and grew to the same size as the sword but much wider to block to attack. The petal was reinforced by Marluxia's energy, but that doesn't mean it will last forever.
Marluxia was somehow still able to block all of Zedd's Magic! Fortunately his scythe had been knocked out of Marluxia's hand though. Unfortunately though, he was still able to block Zedd's attack! And with just a sunflower petal! Still, he didn't have his scythe, so Zedd had hope! So, he gave a couple more swings of the sword, planning on backing away some, out of Marluxia's reach. The first swing was to his torso, then his second swing he planned on it being a downward swing at Marluxia's head.
((Bleh! Shortness! Also, can Zedd's number be replenished by healing spells or no?))
(Nope. The number is only replenished by the Scythe hitting Marluxia. ^.^ good luck with that)
The sunflower followed the attack of Zedd. Blocking the first one and barely the second. But with so much force being put on it the shield cracked and fell apart leaving Marluxia open should Zedd use another surprise attack. The second swing wasn't entirely blocked!? Marluxia moved his body out the way as fast as he could but his hair and cheek got a slight cut. Letting out a slight growl Marluxia swung his arm over to Full Bloom and in a flash similar to the one the Keyblade gives off, it returned to Marluxia.
The Nobody Seal played two parts in this play. One, Marluxia could now chain more combos together because his scythe only cut away at the ties that bound Zedd's heart to his body. Two, it would un-nerve the child as it got lower. Marluxia darted at Zedd with Scythe in hand and swung it at him, if Zedd were to dodge Marluxia's upwards swing would cause Full Bloom to be flung at Zedd.
