In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

And now, Maverick and his clones had disappeared. Mikael lowered his weapons and activated Blade´s Hope once again, turning the flames that coated his sai swords blue. Suddenly, his opponent and the clones started to appear and disappear in many places. Was this some kind of illusion?
The fire user needed to be alert to notice when they would probably attack. A surprise awaited for their act. He closed his eyes, concentrating on his surroundings... becoming one with them. "Hiding doesn´t sound like a plan. Maybe I have a plan, maybe I don´t."
Maverick gave a slight chuckle at Mikael's words. He wasn't hiding. He and his clone were in plain sight....sorta. The real Maverick materialized for a couple seconds, only to place his hand on the ground and vanish back into the Mirage Dance. What he did was send his energy into the ground in preparation to make a bone spire to shoot out of the ground when need be.
"But what I do when hiding is Mikael." then both the real and fake Maverick appeared side by side at the spot where Maverick jumped off the barrier. They began to use Mavericks 68 bone bullet barrage attack. 68 from each means 132 bullets. Fun.
As Maverick and his clone reappeared, Mikael opened his eyes and jumped to his right side. Though he dodged most of the bone bullets, fifteen of them managed to cut him. The fire user quickly deactivated Blade´s Hope to cast some spells.
"Cura, Lava Burst!" he shouted, healing his wounds while lava started to came out of the ground under his opponent and his clone, hopefully doing some damage. He then proceeded to reactivate the blue flames, ready for the next attack. May the fun now begin.
Maverick didn't want to hurt Mikael too much. That's why he's been holding back. He normally goes in for hand to hand combat and THEN to long range. His long raneg is much weaker then his hand to hand. After all, being punched with something harder then steel has to hurt right?
Seeing the lava appear (Under the clone that is), Maverick did what he could to get some distance. Bringing his legs onto the outstretched hands of the clone, Maverick firmly planted them and did a back flip off his clone as it went up in a puff of smoke. Obviously "gone". While in the air Maverick gave a snap of his fingers and the energy he sent into the ground before cause bone spikes to shoot up around and underneath Mikael.
Maverick managed to dodge the lava by doing a backflip, but his clone wasn´t that lucky. It poofed, but the bone manipulator had his next attack planned. Suddenly out oh nowhere, while Mikael was still on the ground, spikes started to shoot up from the ground. Mikael was hit on the back and on his left leg by many of them, causing a great pain. "Argh!"
After he deactivated the blue flames once again, he casted Cure on himself while standing up, healing most but not all of the damage. He could raise a fire wall on the spot where Maverick was about to land, but he didn´t wanted to cause mortal damage to him. He activated Blade´s Hope again and started to walk to his right.
Before, Maverick would have got a sense of joy when his attack hit. But now he just hoped Mikael wasn't too hurt. Maverick also knew that the longer he fought, the more his inner darkness would want to be released. Recently Maverick's had nightmares of what the darkness had in store for him. It still haunts him.
Still in in the air Maverick shot some more bone bullets at Mikael. Doing a slight spin as each hand released 5 bullets. Landing on the ground, Maverick did a sweep kick to possibly knock back any low aimed attacks at him, and also to pull out his spine. Not a pretty sight to watch, but it was one of the best weapons he had. Every other vertebra took on a black tint while the other ones took a slight silver one. Mavericks spine doubled as a super long sword and an effective whip when he softened the inner marrow to make it flexible.
"Mikael. Please don't hold back. I want this to be an enjoyable sparring match" Maverick announced as he held his spine sword in a defense nature.
Thanks to the speed boost, Mikael managed to dodge all of the five bone bullets launched by Maverick. He was now closer to Maverick´s position, just in time to see him... pulling out his spine?! Indeed, it wasn´t pretty site. It was disturbing, but the fire user managed to get those thoughts out of his head. So he wanted a sparring match with all of his power. Alright, but he would still not use his full power, unless Maverick tried to kill him.
"Alright, may the fun begin!" Mikael shouted back, a red aura now comming out of him.
Maverick's eyes had been quickly scanning the area planning out his victory. Jump over there, put that here, and blam! Overlord Reign will finish this"[/color] Giving a slight scoff Maverick tapped into his body and used the darkness to activate Overlord Reign Impact. He could feel his strength drain drastically, but the muscles in his legs absorbed that energy.
A sound filled the arena. Like a jet engine taking off. It lasted only a second then a dust cloud was were Maverick once was. He was in front of Mikael in .2 seconds, then he leaped into the air and bounced off the barrier and fired off more bone bullets. he lashed at Mikael again but jumped over his head and bounced off the barrier again and fired of more bullets. Once again he darted at Mikael, Spine sword turned into whip Maverick lashed it at Mikael hoping to tie him up.
As Mikael watched Maverick poof and appear in front of him, a ring of fire that moved in circles appeared around him. The bone manipulator jumped and fired five more bone bullets (this is assumed since Maverick hold the spine with his other hand). The fire user only got hit by two of them, but concentrating on his fire reduced the pain. The circle of fire became intense and bigger as Maverick lashed with his bone whip at Mikael. The young elementalist made the part of the fire that faced Maverick solid (similar to harden lava), protecting him from the bullets he launched once again. Maverick managed to break the solid fire with his whip.
More flames appeared on the place where the harden lava was, completing the circle again and letting it continue moving in circles.. "Let´s make a short trip... Through the Fire and Flames!" he announced, making the fire rapidly turn blue. Suddenly, the fire that faced Maverick was launched toward him, followed by another wave fire as the circle turned smaller in size.
(o.O Mikael has some pretty fast reflexes to keep up with Mach one speed.....)
When Maverick used this new speed ability he had, he couldn't focus on the little things going on around him. He moved to fast to focus on them anyway. Instead, he had to broaden his horizon. Had to think outside the box if you will. This is how brains beat brawn.
Seeing the fire fly towards him, Maverick pulled back the bone whip and solidified it again as he leaped back. Sending the Ostioblasts and Ostioclasts in his body in a frenzy Maverick made bone grow over his whole body. It had to start at top due to Maverick's pants preventing efficient speed needed to dodge the attack. The bone rapidly grew over Mavericks upper body and flew downward over his pants to even cover his feet. With his bone strength being that of Diamond Maverick's body would be safe from harm. Plus with Overlord Reign still be in use Maverick darted around the fire that was being shot at him and...directly at Mikael himsef. Spine sword ready to slash.
