In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Mikael had never heard about this "Underdrome" until a few days ago. He was convinced by a pair of red and blue demons of enter a tournament called "The Hades Cup". And now, he was at a boat on his way to the gigantic coliseum. He had been just informed that he would fight a guy named Maverick. He and the fire user had fought together at Disney Castle against Marluxia and Maleficent some time ago. He also knew that his opponent had control over his bone structure and was not to be taken lightly.
On the boat, which was almost at the other side of the river, Mikael practiced his fire manipulation skills, careful enough to not burn his current vessel. Like everyone else, the fire user wanted to get to the next round. However, he knew that this was going to be a hard fight, but he had to win.
After getting off the small boat and standing in front of the Underdrome, he decided to enter the arena. He did not know if he was received with cheers or if he was booed since he was fully concentrated on the fight. Maverick had not arrived to the battlefield yet, but he would probably come soon.
Finally a good fight. Maverick has been looking forward to this Cup since Pain and Panic told him about it. Mikael was his opponent today. True, they had been allies in Disney Castle, but what's a little sparing match between potential friends. Getting on the small boat Maverick removed his shirt, using his power would rip it to shreds and Maverick didn't want to make another replacement. Pain began to row the boat to the arena. During this time Maverick went over what he could remember of Mikael's powers, Fire and some form shield. That's all. Fire....Maverick had recovered from his little burn from Maleficent and the scars that riddled his body were proof.
The boat hit shore and Maverick walked into the arena with his torso already having bones sticking out of it. He saw Mikael already standing there and shouted a greeting, "Hey, long time since the Castle. You ready?".
After a few moments of meditation, Mikael realized that his opponent had arrived. He didn´t wore a shirt, probably because it would be destroyed by his powers. Maverick had already bones comming out of his body, and the fire user could only assume that he was ready to fight. "Yes, it has been some time. Well, may the best fighter win! he shouted back to Maverick.
Kill each other? Woah, he had heard this "Hades" was a bit mad, but THAT mad? Mikael had no reason to kill Maverick, so the host´s wishes would probably have to wait for another battle. He took out his sai swords, but didn´t attack. The fire warrior never attacked first; instead, he prefered to observe his opponents to get an idea of what tricks could they have under their sleeve.
"I hope he does." Maverick said with a smile. But it turned to a scowl when he heard Hades yelling to kill each other. Never!, I don't kill good people...not anymore Maverick thought as he got into a Martial Arts attack position. Mikael wanted him to attack first? No big deal. Maverick does better that way.
Maverick jumped into the air and began spinning rapidly. As speed picked up Maverick began to fire off bone bullets at Mikael. When he reached maximum velocity he would launch himself at his foe.
As soon as Maverick jumped into the air and started spinning, Mikael´s blades were coated by orange fire. Right after that, he activated his Blade´s Hope ability, giving him speed to dodge the bone missiles. However, this meant that while the ability was active, his attacks would be a bit weaker.
Mikael decided it was time to start attacking; he raised his sword and shouted. "Firestorm!". As the name hints, a fire storm would appear on top of Maverick. He would most likely dodge it, but the fire user wanted to know what other things could his opponent do to attack him.
With the velocity of the spin Maverick was in so high, instead of the fire coming down on top of him it actually began to swirl around him. Aerodynamics 101. The spinning got faster and faster, of course the heat was getting to maverick and beginning to burn. Time to attack. With a somewhat loud cracking sound Maverick was jetting at Mikael. The fire swirling behind him giving off an end trail.
His attack had somewhat worked, but it also backfired. Now, Maverick was heading towards him with great speed surrounded by flames. Even if he moved, he would be slightly damaged by the flames that surrounded him. His training had hopefully made him resistant to the lower levels of fire, so he wouldn´t be damaged that much.
Mikael acted quickly; he moved to avoid receiving the direct hit. While running, he raised a Fire Wall in the place where he was before. All of this was posible thanks to the boost of speed given by Blade´s Hope.
As expected Maverick didn't hit Mikael. But for some reason he put up another wall of fire, strange. Being already surround by fire Maverick moved through the wall with ease. The temperature had got to be too high for Maverick to withstand. Before hitting the barrier Maverick stopped his spinning which caused the flames to dissipate. Pulling out his bone in his arm Maverick made a sword. Not his strongest weapon but it will do.
Just before he hit the barrier Maverick put his feet in front of him so he could step of as soon as he hit. He made contact and pushed his body down so he could have more momentum, aaaaaannnndddd, Boing!. He fired himself off the barrier and left a clone behind to prepare to use his Mirage Dance. Sword aimed at Mikael's arm Maverick got closer and closer.
The reason Mikael summoned the fire wall was to make the temperature higher and cause some damage to Maverick. But that didn´t matter at the moment. The fire user watched as Maverick cleared himself of the flames, bounced on the barrier shield, left a clone there and launched himself toward him with a bone sword.
"Time for more fire..." Mikael said, watching as Maverick headed toward him. The flames on his sword changed to green, ending Blade´s Hope but starting Swordsman´s Anger. "Firaga!" Suddenly, three big fireballs were heading toward Maverick, hopefully hitting him. In case he continued to advance toward him, the fire warrior crossed his swords like an "X", ready to block the incomming slash from the bone sword.
Exactly as planned. Maverick knew that Mikael would use more fire a he speed towards him. That is why he left the clone there. Some time would have been needed to use the Mirage Dance. Not much, but some. Both the clone and the real Maverick vanished. Where they went, not even Hades would probably know.
Though he is not visible Maverick's words could be heard, "Mikael, don't make your strategies based on what's going on now. Plan ahead through out the entire battle."
Maverick and his clone's image was flickering in multiple places at once. Maverick had to wait for the right time to attack, and now was not.
