In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Wow the Little Rose is unsure. It sounds like your goal to spread peace would take a rough path that violence is inevitable.Don't wilt so suddenly. At times one must fight and argue to resolve a problem. That's when the thought of the greater good comes in. Which is the lesser of two evils?
To answer you question, it's not that I wish to hide from you. I was to arrive when requested that hunter wouldn't have the greatest time of his life. Today, I'm not in the mood to shed blood, because it isn't necessary. Sure there would be one less man hunting us, but other than that there aren't any other gains or benefits. In the world of survival, killing him would be child's play, which I don't waste energy on.
The gaia snicked as the hunter to out his spear. Bearing lavasicles fangs, the heartless charged to bite at an arm. It paw rose for a strike to wrap around the limb it would sank it's fang into.

"I know, kill a few to save a thousand, i know how the saying goes. And i see your reasoning as well. And anyone who does not wish to shed blood is someone I fell i could trust. so yes i would like to see you." Roze was glad that another person saw past bloodshed and relied on thinking instead of just emotions. Whoever this was Roze knew that they were a good person.
As the beast came to bite Jawn's arm. He snapped the arm back and jumped back to gain some more distance. While doing this he swung the staff around one end coming straight at the beasts head from where it tried to bite his arm. keeping the circular motion he made it eliptical to also knock the beasts arm out of the way.
After knocking back both attacks he threw a kick right at the beasts head which if everything worked right would be on the ground from his attack. And completely vulnerable.

Gaia didn't appreciate the staff as it knocked it paw away with the knock on the head. In response it growled at the kick and seized the foot in its mouth. Like a dog, it shook its head side to side vigorously to throw the others balance off, while walking backwards. The lavasicle fangs were bearing holes into the shoe as the eat of lava started to eat away at it.
On the roof, Elaeus chuckled softly as he summoned the robed cloak to coat his body. Zipping it up, it covered his commoner apparrel, while a hood was pulled over to shrowd his face in darkness. A blindfold was added to cover his eyes not trusting them at all. Teleporting, darkness coated his body. Behind the flora heartless, he walked slowly behind him.

Roze turned around to see the man who had been speaking to him. Looking him over he could see nothing but what clothed him, the man was keeping a high level of secrecy even if he could see him. "i gain nothing other than knowing where you are. Should you turn out to be an enemy in the end I'd like to be able to know where you are. So tell me why do you hide your appearance from me?"
Jawn realized what was going on and he wouldn't get out very easily. He snapped the staff to turn it into nunchucks. Swining it with great force he aimed it right in between the Gaia's eyes. The swing would be hard enough to break bones, and because Jawn's leg was caught and moving, there would be a possibility he could break his.

"With the life I live, secrecy and being hidden is key. After all I don't need men like the one you've just encountered remembering my face. It's different when one can't go after what they don't know. It's the way of survival."
A glove hand reached out and lift the heartless chin as hidden eyes gazed at the cherry blossom hued orbs. He could almost feel the softeness of the dark frame; it was like rose petals. "If I were to become an enemy, I rather not be found so easily. You don't need to worry about that from me. Why would I send protection to one I would be enemies me with, and why would I make an enemy who propose no harm, a pacafist?"
Turning his head quicky, Elaeus could here a yelp; his hand dropped from Roze's face. From a distance gaia bit down harder on the man's foot at the hit against the eyes before withdrawing. A fellow ruby gaia heard the yelp as well. As the ruby gaia back away, another stepped in front of it from a dark portal as a barrier between the hunter and the other canine. It growled lowly.

"At least you are no fool." he said. Hearing the yelp Roze turned his head with a look of concern on his face. "I'd like to ask one thing though, do not kill the man. He did no harm to me and I'd rather not have him too wounded."
Jawn had smirked from the thought of actually making a successful hit. He had figured out how to beat them. He attached his staff back together and faced the new one. He now knew that the only way to beat these beasts were with blunt weapons. And he was good with blunt weapons.
He withdrew into a fighting stance facing one on one with the beast, no even showing any fear of the growling. He had managed to figure out how to hurt them, but had not managed the weak spot. Everyone was weak between the eyes. He had to find their weakness. He had to find a way to beat it with one hit. Because one hit may be all he can get in.

The heartless locked itself in place before spatting a ball of magma at the hunter. After the ball was released it stomped on the floor releasing a heavy tremor along the floor.
Elaeus chuckled once turning his attention back on Roze, "That sounds like more of a request than a question, Little Rose. Why do you care of his state? Is it out of being fair, since he didn't attack your, or is this the pacifist talking? Plus it seems that I won't be the one killing him; he have angered them."
Elaeus could detect where they were at instantly as he felt the tremors. Manipulating the earth, a rock spike seperated the gaia from the hunter. More spikes surrounded the hunter in a cage. The canine snorted at the barrier before turning away. Opening a dark portal, it and its comrade walked inside the darkness leaving the hunter alone.
"Are they any other requests I would be hearing today?"
Post by shinjihirako on Jul 11, 2009 20:10:47 GMT -4
"It's more of a combination of the 2. And thank you for doing that. I don't have anymore requests." He was glad that he had found a heartless that was considerate and detested bloodshed even if it was just towards his own kind. "I do have a question. How long have you existed as a heartless?"

Jawn had managed to dodge the magma ball. When he saw it was stomping he did a jumping lunge at it. He was ready for a counterattack, when a spike came up at him. He hit it with his staff and pushed away to manuever in the air so it wouldn't stab him.
Once he landed back where he was spikes grew around him. When he saw the beasts fleeing he thought they must have done it in order to get away. He didn't have to find their weak point, they ran away already. He had succeeded in surviving and getting them to shut up, but failed in eliminatin them. Putting his staff away he awaited for the cage to disapear.

Elaeus' finger snapped, which caused the spike cage from a far to curl up sealing the hunter inside as they moved in closer barely giving him anymore room to move. Flexing his fingers as if he was flicking water off of them, the rocky cage was sent back with the hunter in it.
"I really don't know the exact amount of years. Lingering in the realm of darkness can help one loose track of time, but I can say atleast over twenty-two years. Although I know it happened long ago, I still have a vivid memory of it all. And you? You look quite ....," the Heartless approached the other before cupping his face again, "young, a teen," the spare hand combed through the wavy red locks.
"How did your heart corrupted at such a young age? Generally one looks around the age they were...changed." Elaeus was trying to read his eyes, the gateway to the soul. They were a beautiful shade of pink. They were dark at the rim of the iris, while growing lighter to the black pupil. He could even see specks of red within their tranquility.

Lyon chuckled at the mans answer before replying "I don't remember anything of my past, i could speak, i could count, i could do anything a normal human could do except remember who I was. Though when I awoke I was in a place that was completely dark, the moon shone and everything seemed peaceful. Next to me lay a violin and bow, the same one I'm carrying now. I named it memory for what I had lost and named the bow thought because without thought memory is useless. I had learned later that the place was known as the world of darkness. I spent at least 100 years in that quiet and peaceful place. I learned of my power in a field of flowers when a territorial wyvern attacked me. When i raised my arms to defend myself the rose petals came off from the flowers in the area to protect me. I felt sad that so many flowers had died to protect me so I learned to create them from my energy before I did anything else. Later a gate was opened to this area by 2 young men who seemed to be my age, after they left I rushed after them and jumped through. I arrived in a place with many crystals when i jumped through and after wandering the worlds for a while I arrived here. I like it here, it's peaceful enough."

Jawn was in pain as it squeezed tighter and tighter on him. But he was willing to accept this as long as it didn't kill him. If he had struggled it just might have. Now he was being pulled back, he wondered what was going to happen to him as the cage moved bringing him with it.
