In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

(Fine by me. It's completely logical. Though Xavier just won this.....read the post)
Checkmate. Xavier knew that this fool would just keep cutting his power in half by replicating the staff. Using his psychic power, Xavier propelled himself forward again. Only this time, he surrounded himself with his Mind Crystal Barrier.
"End." Xavier announced as the Lightning bolt bounced off the barrier and into the other shield around them, the staff kept bouncing off. Xavier would soon make contact with Jason. And with the Crystal Barrier in place. Jason would efficiently ripped to shreds by the sharp edges and piercing energy.

And that... would be where Xavier was mistaken. For while he had this crystal barrier at his command, ready to be shattered at any time, despite Jason not knowing this, he could tell that his attacks were not working, as seen from his spinning defense staff not destroying the barrier, but it did help another way... It prevented Xavier from getting to him immediately by holding him back. Xavier continued to get close, little by little, and Jason needed to take drastic measures. His staff dropped from his hand, the crystal ball still in his hand. He then used the only thing he enjoyed about being a nobody... His dark portals.
Two portals would be formed. 1 was in front of him, though it wasn't there to catch the pieces of the barrier. He was simply trying to send Xavier elsewhere. The other one surrounded him and closed. The defense staff was no longer able to take it as it went flying off into the barrier of the arena, disappearing. His attack staff kept trying to penetrate the barrier, but to no effect and also went flying off, disappearing. As for his regular staff... It simply disappeared when it hit the ground.
While within the realm of darkness, a Cura spell was used to heal the injuries from before. Regardless of where Xavier was now, either where he was before, not having fallen into the portal, or on the other side of the arena, having fallen into the portal and teleported to the other side, Jason would pop out again, quite some distance away from Xavier, standing there. His staff quickly formed into his hand again, the writing coating his staff once more as his duplicates were there. Jason smiled slightly, not prepared to lose this match.
((The only reason I did this is because you said that you came into Contact with Jason. There is a staff the length of Jason's body spinning rapidly in front of you. That being said, even with your barrier, you can't Phase through it, thus never getting the chance to actually reach Jason.))

Xavier showed no change in expression as he was flung into one of the portals. He simply came out of another at the other end of the arena. With Jason at the other end. Giving a smirk. Xavier moved his Mind Crystal shield above him. The energy slowly leaked into him, replenishing his own strength.
"You show great patience. But for how long I wonder." Xavier said smugly as his ring flashed several colors. He didn't particularly like using the ring for magic, for it used his madams energy instead of his own. The ring stopped flashing and showed only one color. Blue. With a smirk Xavier made a barrage of Psyche Disks fly towards Jason. Followed shortly by a burst of Psychic energy, with a few shard of Blizzara magic.

Everytime that ring flashed blue, Jason could tell what was coming next. The psyche disks were starting to fly toward Jason as he simply whacked most of them with his staff. One grazed his arm. Then a wave of psychic energy was sent out at him. It was too quick for him to block it, so the most of it hit his staff as he held it in front of him. He was pushed back and harmed, but his crystal ball glowed green as cura was cast. A few shards of ice soon followed and a fireball was launched from his crystal ball at the shards, causing them to melt.
He ran his hand down his staff and said "The power of lightning, fire off in a stream!"[/color] As he said that, his hand started to glow yellow before launching off a stream of lighting toward Xavier. With any luck, the stream would cause the barrier to break. With all the attacks he had launched at it already, it had to be close to breaking. Everything had a breaking point. Now it was time to find the one for this barrier. Should Xavier get close to Jason, he would stop the attack and disappear through a portal of darkness to the other side of the field and continue it. 1000 years of working on sustaining his energy and now he was utilizing his powers. Xavier didn't know what he was working with.
