In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Wally walked down the streets of Twilight Town, letting out a small yawn as his odd clothes drew the stares of many people.
However, he didn't seem to notice. He just walked along like he was the most normal person in the world. He himself didn't notice his little oddities as he walked along, humming a merry tune, even throwing in a little skip every now and then.

A beam of light sparkled like a star as sand began to accumulate forming to masses. One rose from the floor before it can be completely indentied. The figure indeed look human, and in moments it appeared to be feminine. An arm was stretched to release a cramp as the loose sleeve waved like a flag before dusting off her fanny pack and skort.
"Now where are we?" Her eyes gained back their visions as the white spots dimmed away into endless sunset. "It seemes like the orb wanted us to go back to Twilight Town. No matter, this place seems safer than the others."
"I think I can get up.....," Max said to Erika as he slowly pushed himself to his feet and leaning on her for support, his warpike in his free hand and Jawn's sword stick in his belt,"it's the staying up part I need help with."
He laughed and flashed her a small grin, even though his whole body felt like lead and that it would just be easier to fall asleep and never wake up.
"and.......thanks for putting up with all the trouble I cause. It seems I keep getting myself hurt and you have to keep healing me."
****************
Wally continued his skipping walk through the streets, enjoying the day. It was so pleasant out!
Then, as he was passing a couple of apparent travelers, he glanced over and saw someone he was quite familiar with.
It was Erika! What she was doing there he could only guess at, but from the way the man with her leaned on her, he guessed that he was either her boyfriend or a friend who was hurt.
"Erika!" he said excitedly, hurrying over to her and pulling her into a tight hug,"Why didn't you tell me you were going to kill your mother! You caused quite. Bit of trouble, young lady! But its still very good to see you again!"

"As long as we both are in one piece, it's all ok. Let's focus on finding some sort of housing for you can rest properly. Plus it's not like I have to, I want to. There's a great difference between the two." The gunslinger replied giving a reassuring smile. She grabbed his free arm to wrap around her shoulder to make walking for him easier.
Glancing around, Erika was looking for the perfect candidate, "Hopefully there are helpful informal people to point us to a-"
"Erika!"
I swear that voice sound so familiar.. Erika blinked with an epiphany as she saw an running person. H-how did h-he get here?! Her mind nearly shouted as she was pulled into a hug, which nearly yanked her grip on Max.
Opening her mouth to speak a welcome, her lips twitched as he continued talking "Why didn't you tell me you were going to kill your mother!" Her fingers twitched to shut her mentor's mouth before laughing nervously, while patting his back with a big grin muttering, "old man doesn't know when to shuut it."
"It's great to see you too Grandpa Wally!" Erika replied louder to drain out his voice. She doesn't like her life being spilled out before her, especially with someone who knew nothing of it. "Now no need to talk crazy now in front of others."
"Grandpa Wally, this is Max, the injured one. Max this is my mentor I mentioned earlier about."
Max smiled back at Erika as she said she wasn't helping him because she had to, but because she wanted to.
Then, some old guy ran up and hugged her, nearly knocking him off of his supporter.
"N-nice to........meet you?" he said, a strange look on his face, then he turned to Erika and whisperrd,"This guy taught you? No wonder you have a few.......strange practices."
"It is quite pleasant to meet you, Max. Any friend of Erika's is a friend of mine!" He put on a big smile and looked at Max,"Now, my friend, what has happened to you? You look quite the worse for wear!"
"Well......uh....you see, I.......that is......uh......Erika, a little help here, please?"
Max was just completely caught off guard by the old man, and he was in no state to collect himself quickly either.

Roze was enjoying his time in Twilight Town. Out of all the worlds it would have to be his favorite. Elaeus could wait for now, he'd find him when he felt it was right. At the moment he was sipping some herbal tea, best thing for your mind and your health he thought. He brushed a lock of hair back and placed munny on the table and left a rather hefty tip. He stretched when he got outside, he needed to find something to do. He hadn't practiced his violin, why the heck not.
He wandered outside and pulled the violin case out of the strap it was hung on in his jacket. As he was taking out he heard the strangest thing.
"Why didn't you tell me you were going to kill your mother!"
Definitely not the normal thing you heard in the streets of Twilight, there were 3 people and the sand was unsettled where they were. One was dressed in rather odd clothes, while the girl had two guns in holsters. The man appeared to have gotten into a fight recently and had a pike, a staff and a sword. Quite a bit of weaponry for just one person. HIs practice forgotten he rested against the wall observing them, the smell of roses abundant.
Ah Twilight Town. Such a peaceful place. Not too much noise, everyone kept to themselves. And. It was the perfect spot to sleep on the roof tops. Which is exactly what Maverick was doing. He was simply...exhausted. More mentally then physically. His mind had been a train wreck now. It was his inner darkness trying to claw back to the surface.
It did more then annoy him while he was awake. It gave him hellish nightmares when he slept. He was grunting and sweating slightly as he tossed and turned around. Another flashback nightmare.
"MAVERICK!!! What have you done!!!?" A woman yelled as she ran up to him and pushed him aside to reveal the dead body of a kid. A kid with several bullet shaped holes in his torso.
"I-I-I didn't mean t-t-to Mommy. It was an accident, I swear!" a much younger Maverick yelled at his mother as several men ran up and carried him away.
"I....I'm sorry....my precious baby boy." his mom said while tears streamed down her face.
"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMY!!!!!" young Maverick yelled as he was thrown into a black room.
All this time Maverick had fallen off of the roof of a building that was near some people.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Maverick screamed as he jerked up from his sleep.

,"This guy taught you? No wonder you have a few.......strange practices."
Erika's brows evened, while blinking at Max blankly clearly stating, You seriously have no idea. The gunslinger sigher happily once the spotlight was off of her. Then this type of thing is like a cold; once it left one person it moved to another.
Erika sighed hearing Max crack under pressure, "Let's just say Max have enough battle wounds to count, and he just got some fresh ones....being a generous idiotic shield."
"No Grandpa Wally, none of this answers why are you here and how you got here."
Jawn had finally discovered the mystery to this place and now it was nice to him. He enjoyed the dark peace. Reminded him of home, he didn't like his home, but this felt like a new home. He was on top of a building watching the sunset, his ssword had still never came off his belt since the time he put it there. He got up and was about to jump onto the street when he saw the two from before, he also saw an old man there, and Max had his sword. About to turn around and leave before going onto the street he heard a yell.
He took a leap off of his building and landed just under this person. Just in time to catch him. This person, he recognized this person. He jut didn't know where from
"Ah! Right! That! Well, you see, my dear, when you saw fit to assassinate your mother, you apparently got me in some hot water as well," Wally said to Erika,"Not long after you disappeared, a trip of assassins appeared in my home by way of those teleportation orbs. Now, I was able to fight them off, but I decided it would beneat for my health if I left. So, here I am! I took the assassins' orbs and used one to come here, for a place of safety so that I wouldn't get killed."
Wally reached up a hand, brushing at the air as if a fly was buzzing by his head.
"now! Shoo, bad thoughts and memories! Be away with you!" he said rather loudly, before turning back to Max and Erika,"Now, my dear, let's take you to my new home, shall we? I daresay that its not quite the old cottage, but it's quite nice. Mich bigger actually."
St that Wally began to March off away from Erika and Max, somewhat leaving them behind, skipping somewhat as he walked.
As Wally started to walk off, Max looked at Erika.
"We're going to be staying with this nutcase, aren't we?"

Roze chuckled loudly at this and looked at the odd man making sure to catch his attention. "Safe is not a word that's usually used to describe this world. Odd things have been known to happen here, odd creatures, people disappearing, not to mention the old mansion. Care to hear more?" Roze still spoke in the soft tone but there was an edge of seriousness.
(Short I know but there's not much to go off of for Roze)
(Meh. Shortness as well. I meant that when he fell down. He fell down pretty much next to Erika and Max)
Maverick was still panting and sweating from his dream. He quickly realized that he was being held by someone. Immediately he jerked himself away from the grasp. Stumbling on the floor before standing up, Maverick dusted himself off and glanced at the man who grabbed him before he fell to the ground. It was that man he met in Radiant Garden, but were was that other girl.
"Th-thank you. I guess I...dozed off in the worst place. I believe we've already met. The names Maverick, you know. From Radiant Garden." Maverick held out his hand to greet Jawn.
He looked to his left and saw the girl that was there in the Garden as well. She was accompanied by two others. Weird, Maverick didn't take her as the social type.
Might as well greet them, "HEY!!" Maverick yelled in their direction and gave a slight wave.

"Safety?" Erika looked at her mentor skeptically. She hardly doubted that he would need to flee for protection; as many time as he beat her in sparring, he still had plenty of kicks left in him. She sighed; it didn't mattered much now; he was here and can be stubborn if he wanted to. "Can we stop talking about home now?"
"Now! Shoo, bad thoughts and memories! Be away with you!" He was probably too loud to even hear her. Erika scratched her head, while looking down mildly embarrassed by the staring people watching her mentor, her teacher, talk to air. Looking up, she blinked at his invitation to his new home. Without a word, she nodded a began following him.
A silent smile cracked on her face; he never changed a bit with that goofy walk of his. She could remember the first day he did that. He was walking away challenging her to come by for training. It was hard to take a man who skipped seriously.
"We're going to be staying with this nutcase, aren't we?" Hearing Max voice, she blinked out of her memory with a "Huh? Yeah, might as well not turn down an offer. Plus you need a place to rest and heal. Let's get moving before Sir Skipper get's too far ahead." Erika replied, while waiting for him to assist.
"He may be ...differeny, but he did trained me efficiently. It all paid off."
"HEY!!"
"Hm?," hair flowed with the turn of a head. Erika titled her head in curiosity, "Oh hi, Maverick right? Hold on for a moment." Erika looked a head, "Hey Grandpa Wally wait up. You have another person to meet."
Jawn looked at him and suddenly remembered. He thought for a second what exactly had happened.
"Just consider my debt repaid"
He said letting go of Maverick now that he was safely on the ground. He heard him yell something and turned to him.
"Not so loud alright"
He said irritably, something about this place made him really hate action. Maybe it was his senses. Than he looked in the direction of Erika and max. Normally he would walk away but this time he wouldn't, he stayed put and waited for them, after all, they weren't enemies, and this place was peaceful so there was no need to call eachother allies. They were just normal aquintances now
Max looked around, giving a weird look at the guy skipping in front of them, Erika's old mentor. He found it hard to believe that she had learned what she knows from this guy. He seemed completely off his rocker.
"I.....suppose you're right," he said to Erika as she confirmed they would be staying with Wally,"I still don, think that old man has all his marbles, though. He seems kind of.........insane, maybe?"
He looked over as someone shouted out a loud "HEY" to someone, and looked over to see a guy heading their way. When he heard Erika say hello back, he turned and looked at her,"friend of yours?"
Then, he turned and looked at the guy again, and this time saw someone behind him. It was Jawn, with his single remaining sword.
"I'll be right back," he told Erika, pulling himself away from her support before she could do anything and walking over to where Jawn was, albeit shakily.
As he neared him, he pulled the man's sword out of his belt.
"Jawn, I think you forgot something when you left the castle," he said, raising an eyebrow,"you abandoned your weapon, my friend, and that's not something to take lightly from where I come from. In Fryden' abandoning your weapon means submission, and submission is one thing no Drydenian would subject himself to willingly."
He showed the sword to Jawn and replaced it in his belt, and continued speaking,"I'm well prepared to give it back to you, but I won't be giving it back until you've EARNED it. Like I said, abandoning your weapon is a terrible thing to do, no matter who you are. I'll let you know when you can have it back."
************
Wally slowed and stopped, turning in time to see Erika's friend Max pulling away from her to go talk to someone else. He stoped as Erika herself told him she had someone elsefor him to meet.
"Why hello, my friend! Any friend of Erika's is a friend of mine!" Wally said, sticking his hand out to Maverick to shake hands,"I should be able to accommodate all of you in my new home. Erika, I'd take control of your boyfriend if I were you, lest he hurt himself. Wouldn't want him keeling over from overexertion now, would we?"
Giving her a pleasant smile, he stood and waited for her to retrieve Max so they could continue to his nice new home.
