In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The Darkness twisted open, submerging them in a drier World. This particular area held a not-so-homey feeling, but it bought them the seclusion necessary for a good battle. And just look! Water was always nearby, should the Flames get, what some might've called, 'out of hand'.
The hallway they'd dropped in on was somewhat thin, but it opened up into a wide, vacant room, save a few pipes running along the wall. It would be a little tight, but at least it provided them with a fairly uninterrupted arena.
It was a lesson this girl was after? Well then, she'd learn from the best!

((Original title... *Dodges bullets!* ))
She stepped out into a place that had a rather musty odor hanging in the air. Drip, drip, drip, the pipes running along the walls dripped every few seconds indicating that water was running through them on occasion. There were small trails of water leading to a pool of it on the other side of this room, so this meant that the whole place was slightly tilted.
Quietly she dipper her left shoulder and easily the strap to her new weapon slid off. She grabbed it in her left hand, fumbled and dropped it when she tried to regain her grip on it. "I don't suppose you could try fixing this, could you?" Her eyes moved to the dislocated shoulder in disgust. More and more she was beginning to regret ever getting herself into the mess she had back in Port Royal.
Speaking of which, where the hell where they? As she struggled to remove the blade from its sheath it dawned on her that she actually had no way out. Her only ticket was Axel, so she better not kill him. Pfft, who was she kidding? Kill him? He was the reason she was training to get rid of these Heartless and he probably could kill her in a second if he really wanted to. Now was not the time however to be thinking such things, now was the time to fix the problem with her dislocated shoulder and the time to fight.
The Nobody shrugged, looking as clueless as she did. "I can try." What could he say? He was a demolition expert, not a Doctor!
He'd seen this particular thing attempted before. The lithe Fire element strode toward the girl and grabbed her arm, giving it a quick jerk downward with both his hands. Who knew if it'd really work? He guessed that in a few seconds, she would.

She watched him with cautious eyes as he walked over toward her. Before she could jerk back he grabbed her arm and pulled it down wards. A loud pop was heard and her knees gave out from all the pain. Down she fell, but she was not landing on the floor, oh no, not that dirty thing. She finally gained feeling back in her right arm and quickly it shot out toward Axel. Her fingers dug into the material as it went from slack to tight and her other hand did the same. Either he would fall with her or she would stay like this, one hand on his arm and the other on the side of his waist.
". . . !" The sudden extra weight, even if it was small, combined with the sudden momentum of her fall caused him to take an immediate half-step backward to counter it. Then, those flustered green eyes just stared down at the limp female, head tipping to the side. There were VERY few souls he allowed this close to him, and the nearness was irking him. Those cold jade eyes were on her, and they didn't look too forgiving.

((Oh yeah? Just who can get this close to him? :D))
Red spread all over her face as she tipped her head to look up at his reaction. He did not look too happy, "You done yet?" Sage frowned and shoved him back wards slightly as she pushed herself up. "I didn't exactly ask you to make it hurt that much," she countered as she stared back at him with a slightly lighter shade of jade eyes. A couple steps back and finally her weapon was at her feet, the Firefox quickly bent down and scooped it up in one fluid motion. The strap slid back on but this time the sheath was empty. Her blade was out and she hoped that whatever this person was would be affected by such a thing. "How's about we make this more interesting?"

Axel's scowl hardly lightened. But indeed, she did ask him to make it hurt. In a manner of speaking, she asked him to fix it. And fix it he did. But it seemed she wouldn't give him the time to answer before threatening to attack.
Immediately he'd rolled onto his feet, a flurry of sparks following him, then fading in the wind. Obviously he was preparing. But first, he'd have to successfully dodge the opening attack.

"Right, so are you ignoring me now? Hey, at least no one fell on the ground." She rolled her eyes as sparks fanned out around him. So he was literally a hot-head, super. Ignoring him not answering her question she continued on, "First one to win this match gets to ask the other person any sort of question, the other person must answer it." Hey, if Sage were to fight someone like this, she better be motivated. Besides, there were questions left unanswered before and she wasn't about to let him get away with leaving them not answered. She didn't attack yet, even though she usually threw the first blow she wanted to hear his reply first.
What? This sounded like some sort of children's game, but if it got her to fight, he'd go along with it. "Sure. But I'll have to come up with something good to ask you." Yes, he was just that hot-headed. And besides, if he lost, who said honesty had anything to do with the game?

She shrugged, oblivious to the fact that were were both thinking the same thing. She would refuse to answer his question if he won, depending on the question, he looked like the type to not really come up with anything good and for that she was thankful. On the flip side however she had great questions to ask him, the only problem was winning. Now that her clothes were back to normal it was easier to move and she sprung lightly at him. The blade wasn't the best, still she tried her first attack with it. A simple swing at his chest, after all, she didn't see any weapons on him, and she doubted fire could stop it.
They were chatting? This impatient girl seemed like the type to -- oh there it was -- the first attack. A simple forward slice. It was obvious that Fire could not deflect a firm object... But that's where his speed came in. A simple blurr and he was gone before the bloodthirsty blade could sink a bite into his chest.
He blinked back a few yards away, holding his hands up near his head, then snapping them to his sides as his Chakrams were summoned into existence, slowing to a stop like halting tires. His fingers snapped onto the circular weapons and the lithe figure brought them to his side, giving each a spin, one right after the other.
A noticeable hunch was evident in his posture now, undoubtedly meant for intimidation. For now he would analyze the girl's strengths and weaknesses, and address the areas accordingly. If he were going to make a lackey of sorts, he might as well invest a little time teaching her to fight. After all, what good was she to the Organization dead?

One second he was there and then the next he was gone, just what was he? Wheel-like weapons appeared in either of his hands, spikes rimming the sides. She narrowed her eyes to slits, so he could summon up he weapons? The possibility had never occurred to her. Sage realized that in battle it was all about split-second decisions and the ability to think quickly under pressure. In her case, it was acting before thinking, because for her thinking took too long. She didn't know what Axel's weapon's could do, and didn't want to take a chance by taking any stupid chances. She waited for him, hoping that his quick speed wouldn't wind up earning her a wound or more...
Five seconds. Six. She wasn't starting an attack, and if she was thinking of one, it was taking too long. Thus, he would throw the first hit.
His expression focused sevenfold as he blinked into momentary invisibility, re-appearing a good distance behind the girl and springing forth with a sudden lunge. One Chakram shifted into a horizontal position as he charged. He would not allow himself to critically injure her, but a good scare was not out of the question.

He was out of her sight, that meant he would probably be attacking from behind. She turned but not fast enough and fell to a knee as her reflexes kicked in. She thrusted the blade downward, aiming for what? His cloak was what she needed. If her blade was able to snag and then trap it then she'd have a clear shot of him. But what about his weapons? She shifted quickly and scraped her claws along the blade of her weapon. Poison transferred over to them and she jumped up at the male. She arched her back giving her a look of almost sitting before slashing at his face with her poison-covered claws.
The first attack barely missed. It was close, but those lightning-fast reflexes had once again saved him. Then she shifted into a Firefox. Interesting... wait, she was using the poison form the blade? She was resourceful. But he already knew that. Now to dodge that swipe and keep his face unmarred.
She lunged, and he sprung backward, eyes watching carefully. He hardly kept that beautiful face blemish-less; it was at the expense of his cloak, actually. That scratch gauged through it, grazing his skin, cutting it slightly. Wincing through the pain, a morbid grin twisted at the tip of his mouth. Not very many people got a chance to make contact with him in battle. She should be proud.
The momentum of that spring kept him in the air long enough to toss one Chakram at her, then the other. The weapons danced in a spiral toward their designated target, twirling outward at their maximum range before blinking out in a swirl of Fire. How she would respond to this, he was interested to see.
