In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

By his imagination's discourse did this teen end up where he was. He was alone, unsafe, and in front of the mansion. He had been here once, perhaps twice. He couldn't recall the specifics, but he knew there was something here. A big something. Alone or not, he would discover it. On his parents be it.
He glanced behind him. Was that something? No, it couldn't have been. Just a squirrel. He was getting paranoid. It's all in his head. He shook his head and loosened up a bit. Was this the Kaze he once knew, shivering, jumping at every little crackle or sound? Of course not. He wasn't himself anymore, he needed to find a way to change this. He doubted it would be so, but in his doubts a sense of his old self came through. It wasn't much, being naturally pessimistic, but it brought you back down to earth- and hard if the pessimism was doing its job. The fact of the matter was there very well could be someone behind him. And the even more blatant fact was that Kaze didn't care anymore.
He summoned his keyblade, keeping his gaze fixed in front of him. Unlocking the gate once more, he strolled on through. After taking a few steps past the gate, he stopped. What if there was someone following him? It wasn't much, but Kaze turned around and shut the gate behind him. Maybe that would be more incentive to keep going as well.
He had never taken the time to look at the grass here before. It was in terrible condition, some spots higher than others, some spots slightly worn from people walking on it. Either way, it needed some maintenance. Not from Kaze, of course. A couple days a month here is fine, but every day would be too much. It would drive him out of his own mind.
The keyblade in his hand never left his white-knuckled grip. He was tense, he was ready, and he'd be damned if something came up, decided to attack him and landed a cheap shot before he could retaliate. Taking a breath and shaking the worries from his hair, he pushed open the front door to the dusty interior. Did he hear something behind him? His mind was playing tricks on him again... Was it?
Wally had followed the young man as he'd walked through the town, acting as if something would jump out at him at any moment. He had intended to find out what the young man was up to, since he moved so deliberately, it seemed rather suspicious to him.
He summoned snakey to keep an eye on the boy as he stepped out of the woods to the small clearing in front of the mansion. He'd waited until the summon creature returned, and through the summoner/summoned creature bond, snakey informed him of what she saw.
So, Wally dismissed the large snake and moved with his rather strange, skippy gait up to the gate, which the boy had apparently forgotten to lock back.
"tsk tsk," Wally said quietly as he opened the gate, walking nonchalantly up to the door,"Paranoia has weakened this boy's mind, I see."
He walked right up to the front door of the mansion and rapped on the door with his staff several times, to get the boy's attention. Maybe he could help with his paranoia some.....
But, if not, he might be good company for a while, as Wally had nothing to do and nowhere to go.

Seth wandered through the woods enjoying the air and sounds of nature. It reminded so much of home, his family, the other mutants. It was just so... nice. He brushed a lock of blue hair from his icy eyes. He ran a finger along one of the trees before he saw a building in the distance. His curiosity spike he walked towards the structure. When it was in full view he was rather impressed, quite a size but nothing compared to his home world.
He then saw a man enter the building and a man who was dressed quite odd. Humans, or was it another one of those nobodies that the man had told him about. He would normally leave them alone but something was... off about the man who entered the building, he looked nervous and ready freak out at the drop of a pin. He walked towards the two but had a smile on his face.
He may dislike humans but he had to be sociable. "Hello good sir, how are you doing?" He said to the older man. Caring, nice, and loving that is what consisted of his water element.

He heard the knocking. He turned slowly to the door. Was there a peephole? He took a few tentative steps towards the large door in front of him- it seemed larger on the inside, maybe a side effect of the dimness of the room- and checked. Nothing. So, what to do? He didn't want to wait too long, if it was hostile, then it would certainly get impatient quickly. Still, his paranoid mind was telling him the truth this time. Something... Someone, had been following him.
He shuffled over to the door, using his body to block it just incase whoever it was decided to try to break the door down.
"Who are you, and why were you following me?" he asked. He may have sounded just a bit more demanding than he would have liked, but such is life. What's done is done. He had half a mind to leave right now, jamming his keyblade between the doorknobs, and running. After all, he could always smash a window and escape that way. Of course, perhaps someone would get suspicious if he started breaking windows and running from the mansion. Maybe he could come back tomorrow and try, try to have a day to himself. Hopefully.
But, maybe the thing outside wasn't hostile. A scared child, perhaps? Who knows. What's left is to find out. He didn't even try to pay attention to the second voice. As far as he was concerned, he had one worry. The rest was subsequently drowned out.

Wally turned as he heard someone coming up behind him. As he turned, a young man with very long, blue hair and blue eyes came within view. Wally couldn't help but think he looked somewhat......strange with the blue colored hair, his very small shirt and shorts, and odd shoes.
"I am quite fine, thank you my dear boy. Now, I would like to ask you about your rather odd appearance, but I'm currently in the middle of something, so I shall out that off for a few moments," Wally replied with a warm smile to the boy. Gow nice to see a polite youngster,"You are more than welcome to join me, if you so-"
Wally was interrupted by the boy speaking from the other side of the door. "Who are you, and why were you following me?"
"Ah, just a moment, my friend," Wally said to the boy, turning back to the door, and speaking to the other through it,"I'm just a concerned senior citizen, my dear boy. I saw you looking rather worn and somewhat distressed looking earlier and decided to follow you to see what was wrong and if I could help. I swear to you, I mean you absolutely no harm."

Seth smirked a bit, he could say the same about the mans appearance though he figured everyone had their own sense of fashion.
He listened to the conversation between the two, he wasn't sure what to think of the man, he seemed sincere enough but he had seen that in many other humans as well.
"I'm quite sure this man wasn't following you or had any ill intent unless he wouldn't have voiced his precense and neither would have I. You can trust us as long as you bear no ill will." Seth had been sincere about that, he may dislike humans but maybe things would be different now, he was no longer in his home world so that left a fresh start for him.

He unsummoned his keyblade. That was a large feat in itself, as his paranoia had to have died down at least a bit. He didn't see the... 'concerned senior citizen' a threat. Yet. His story didn't play out fully in Kaze's head, but it worked enough. He figured let him in, he's an old guy anyway. He could hear it in his voice, and it must've been a cane or something he hit the door with.
It was the other guy he was concerned with. He didn't give himself much reason for Kaze to trust him yet. After Kaze and the man had established that the old man was following him, this guy comes prancing over and says that either he wasn't following Kaze- which was false- or that he had no ill intent, or he would have voiced himself by now. Sure, in movies he would have. But in real life, the villains don't give speeches before they attack. And then he referred to the both of them as 'us'. Did they know eachother? Were they working together? After a pause on Kaze's end, he finally replied to the two.
"Fine. I'll open the door, but if either of you attack me, heads will roll." Kaze was not joking around. He did not trust these people, hell he really only trusted two, maybe three people so far. He didn't try to sugar-coat his words either. Why sugar-coat the truth when all you're going to be doing is taking away from it?
He opened the door, letting the two of them walk in as they desire. As an afterthought, he added, "I've got some business to take care of."
He will find what's down there, and he will have some questions to ask.
The sound of crackling flames danced from behind them, and a light illuminated the surroundings. Synthest Oriannu stood beside them, leaning against the wall. His hair whipped around his face as flames crackled from his shoulders, his luminescent blue eyes creased from a mischeivous smile.
"I don't think they will. Kaze... How ya been?"
He hadn't seen the teen for months. The last time they had met, they had battled Heartless together in this very town... Or maybe he was wrong. But he knew he had met Kaze. And for once, it hadn't been under bad circumstances! Syn found that to be a rare moment. He had seen him, and wondered what was going on.
"Anyway, I thought I would come over and see if you remembered me, but it seems as though trouble was brewing." His eyes slid to the door. He wondered what they could be doing... "Is there... Anything wrong here?" His voice was lowered, no longer a friendly tone. This one was more suspicious, with a little bit of curiosity.
Wally have a gruff "hmph" as another young teen popped out of nowhere behind him. Youngsters these days, always sneaking around and being paranoid. It was enough to drive the old wizard crazy, or crazier depending on how you looked at it. Gus incredulity only increased as he heard this newcomer ask the other not who was already inside the mansion if there was something wrong here, obviously referring to himself and the blue-haired not behind him.
Wally quickly reached over and gently smacked the newcomer in the back of his young head with his staff. It was just enough to sting, merely to get his attention.
"Look here," he said,"We are causing no trouble here. If anyone were to cause trouble, it would be you with your outlandish suspicions. Why is everyone an enemy to you, anyway? I swear, youngsters these days......can't show an inch of respect for anything! Hmph!"
Wally rested his hands on the top of his staff, the butt of the long walking stick on the ground, looking at the newcomer in quite obviously consternation. Of course, he wouldn't start anything, but he was quite irked at how everyone seemed to just be sneaking around. This latest one had nearly given him a heart attack with his sudden appearance. He was an old man, after all.

"Fine. I'll open the door, but if either of you attack me, heads will roll."
"You do not have to worry about that, only one of us would attack and that'd be if you had angered him the three of us are normally calm." Seth said with a calm tone and a smile.
Seth sighed walking inside the manse. He watched the new comer appear with a burst of flame. He sighed when the stranger asked if there was any trouble.
Seth sighed once before speaking "Make that two people who may wish to cause trouble, and douse those flames before I do it for you. I'd rather not have a forest fire start." He had a calm but stern tone, fire could destroy so much, he himself knew of what it could do.
"I've got some business to take care of."
"You seem to be in no position to take care of anything if you cannot control yourself. I've seen over-heating reactors more stable than you." Seth stated in a humorous but serious tone.

(This is with the assumption that Synthest is outside with the others and he's awesome at recognizing voices i.e. Kaze's. If I'm wrong then my head will explode with confusion but that's beside the point. I'll edit my post if need be~)
What was this, a party? At the third voice, Kaze was ever more hesitant to open the door. He decided to throw away all of his paranoia in one swift movement as the doors slowly creaked open, revealing Kaze, taking a look at the three. Well, this was an... Hell, he didn't know. A freak show? The circus rolled into town? The circus... That brought back memories of... Someone. Why? He shrugged it off.
"I don't think they will. Kaze... How ya been? Anyway, I thought I would come over and see if you remembered me, but it seems as though trouble was brewing. Is there... Anything wrong here?"
This was another familiar sight... Definitely the most pleasant of the three. Synthest, they knew each other. And Synthest wasn't hostile, and if these two attacked then Kaze was... Well, he was sure enough that Synthest would have his back and fight alongside him. Kaze didn't want a fight, but... Anything can happen in the next half hour.
"Look here, we are causing no trouble here. If anyone were to cause trouble, it would be you with your outlandish suspicions. Why is everyone an enemy to you, anyway? I swear, youngsters these days......can't show an inch of respect for anything! Hmph!"
"I take it you've never heard of things coming out of the shadows and attacking you. Well, it happens. We're just prepared." He could've put it a better way. Definitely. But, what's said is what's said, and Kaze chose not to elaborate further.
"You seem to be in no position to take care of anything if you cannot control yourself. I've seen over-heating reactors more stable than you."
An attempt at a joke, obviously. Kaze wanted no part of it. "Whatever," was all the boy said as he quickly turned and headed up the stairs. As a passing thought, he added, "Just don't get in my way." He came here with an agenda. He was going to fulfill it. Who knows, if he makes some allies along the way then that was fine and great. For now, though, he wasn't exactly in the best mood, and he wasn't exactly set on getting buddy buddy with these people. Sure, they didn't mean harm. Now. Still, it was a 'concerned senior citizen' and someone who wore too much blue.
He saw the door slightly ajar and headed in. Nobody here. Weird. Usually there was-... That was superstition, plain and simple, right? No way there was a girl up here, that was just stupid. There hadn't been anyone here since... Kaze didn't know, but normally one wouldn't keep things just lying around wherever they were.
Some of the pictures were strewn across the walls, some in disorganized piles upon the table. He knew the one he was going to need to look at. He didn't dare remove it. They would know that he had a plan with it. He simply relied on his short-term memory. He quickly attempted to memorize it- it was fairly simple once you broke it down into simple shapes- and then took some time to browse the pictures.
One caught his eye. It was some guy in a black robe. He had to look twice, and then closer again.
"No fricken way," he muttered, barely audible, as he turned to leave the room. He wouldn't leave the mansion, but that picture was more reason to hurry up. He knew that robe, he had seen someone with it once. And while that person did not show hostility, Kaze didn't trust him for a second. Come to think of it, Kaze didn't trust many people. Only the few that had helped him or that bothered to stick around to him long enough to gain his trust. He took a passing glance at the picture once more time, just to make sure he had it in his head and ready to copy down.
Stepping out of the door and back into the main hallway, he tried to make it look like he was just adventuring. He doubted that worked and was pretty sure it looked as if he was up to something. Whatever, Kaze didn't care. The only person he would tell would by Synthest, but he didn't ask, and these other two... Well, they could find out for themselves. They had eyes and brains.
((Oops! Kaze was inside. *durr me* Well, this will work. I feel a bit like a tard. XD))
"I take it you've never heard of things coming out of the shadows and attacking you. Well, it happens. We're just prepared."
Syn understood that. Only a couple of months ago, the strange humanoid Heartless' had attempted to recruit him, but he had escaped. The one he had met was strange... It looked like a young teen, but it spoke like an old man. Then there was the fiery one. He already understood that specific Heartless had to be related to Axel, the Nobody, in some way. And considering that this mansion was a Nobody hotspot, he stopped thinking about them.
Syn just followed, trying to understand Kaze's objectives. He noticed the teen's eyes widen slightly as Kaze looked at a picture, but didn't say anything. It was a little confusing, the expression he had used when he had seen it, but Syn still watched. It was only at the point that he looked back that Synthest grew curious. Kaze hadn't come here for that picture... Had he?
A quick view over it, and Syn sighed. A robe...
He didn't know what Kaze was doing, but he was certain it had to do with that picture. So hie brushed his hair out of his eyes and kept moving. Kaze would explain it all in time. At the moment, he had dropped into a strange party. He wondered what weird things were about to happen.
Wally reached over with his staff as the blue haired boy told the newcomer to douse the flames in a rather hostile way.
"Quit threatening people," Wally said to him,"it accomplishes absolutely nothing. You could definitely learn some manners, young man."
Then, he turned back to the boy inside the mansion door, as he spoke about Wally not hearing about things coming out of the dark and attacking him. He chuckled at this thought, knowing what the boy was talking about. It was the heartless, of course, which Wally knew about. He'd also been attacked by people that came out of the dark too, namely assassins.
"I know a little more about that than you might think, my dear boy," He said with a smile,"I know all about the heartless. I've had to fight them off a few times. I've also had to deal with assassins before too, although that was when I left my homeworld.......having killers constantly knocking on your door can get rather......irksome."
He then gave a small smile to the boy and scratched his bearded chin, remembering the three assassins that had come for him, thinking he was the mastermind behind Erika's plan to assassinate her mother. He had defeated the assassins, rather easily actually, and taken their teleportation orbs, packed up some of his most important items, and teleported to a "safe place", not really knowing exactly where he'd end up.
Then, he had found himself in Twilight town, where heartless and white creatures he'd learned that were called nobody's were. They were interesting, aggressive creatures that were easy enough to defeat, so he had absolutely no problems settling down here.
It was about this time he noticed the boy was gone, rubbing about the mansion with a determined step.
"Well, my dear boy," He said, walking with his strange, hopping walk, pausing in the doorway to touch its four corners as he always did before continuing,"You seem to be busy. Is there any way I can help?"
Of course, Wally had no clue what the boy was up to, but if he was helping, he'd be in a better position to stop it if it ended up being something bad.

"I had them until you humans took my life and family away from me. But that is a story for a different time. As for why I said it, you humans have destroyed the land and I'd rather not have another forest burned down, intentional or not. Now what exactly are these heartless you speak of, I've heard of nobodies and even met one but he wasn't aggresive. Would you indulge me while they carry out their, investigation if it could be called that?" Seth spat the word human like it was a bad taste in his mouth but had returned to the calmness he normally had.
(Short but my mind is a bit empty since there isn't much interaction for my character.)

He noticed Synthest following him out of the corner of his eye. Good. At least he wasn't about to get caught up with the crazies. Still, Kaze said nothing. It would all explain itself in due time. Not so much due time, actually. Less than he originally thought. These people weren't trying to stop him from doing anything.
"I know a little more about that than you might think, my dear boy. I know all about the heartless. I've had to fight them off a few times. I've also had to deal with assassins before too, although that was when I left my homeworld.......having killers constantly knocking on your door can get rather......irksome."
Kaze simply shrugged off that statement. Assassins on one's home world had nothing to do with anything at this time. That, or they did, and Kaze simply did not want to acknowledge it. Regardless, the old man seemed intent on helping. He did not seem to pose a threat, so Kaze would let him continue to see what would happen next. Though, it's not like he held any control over the situation now.
"Well, my dear boy, you seem to be busy. Is there any way I can help?"
Taking a bit of time to think about this, he finally came up with a suitable reply. "Yes. Don't interfere, I know what I'm doing." Maybe he seemed a bit harsh. He immediately felt a little guilty. All this man was trying to do was help. While he was a bit weird, Kaze felt as if he should at least give him a chance.
"Listen... I'm sorry for acting like a jerk. I'm just... On edge, is all. Sick of those things popping out where I can't see them and attacking." It was a genuine apology, but he didn't take the time to give any theatrics. He said his apology, and now he was ready to get back on track. Though, he couldn't help but overhear what the... Blue-clad person said next.
Would you indulge me while they carry out their, investigation if it could be called that?"
He stopped in his tracks, and turned to... Whoever this was. He was not in the mood to be accused of anything, let alone his entire species.
"Listen, bud. We didn't take anything from you. You're the one who chooses to dwell in the past and hold your false grudges, and that's all fine and dandy, but get your facts straight before you accuse a whole species of something that most of us didn't even know about." Yes, Kaze lost his temper. He lost his grip on himself for a bit, he got a hot head, and he said it. Normally he wouldn't be like this. He could bite his tongue and carry on, but now he was just angry. Who did he think he was, just waltzing in here, acting non-suspicious enough and then make threats and blame an entire species of muder, arson and whatever else. He didn't care.
He chose to continue onward to the room across the hall, motioning for Syn to follow once more. He didn't come here to argue. He didn't come here to be a jerk to people. He came here to investigate. No more distractions... Hopefully.
