In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

This world was heavily relaxed. The townspeople were kind if nothing suspenseful was going on like the missing flower pot. If everything was "how the way things are" there are hardly any fuss, but the world's balance has been thrown of its scale long before Samael was dumped by a teleporting machine protoype. The world was infested with heartless, the common enemy, revealed to him by a flora manipulator named Marluxia. Feeling the elemental connection, Samael was more comfortable around him compared to anyone else who lived in Twilight Town.
Naturally, they would freak out at something foriegn, so Samael kept a low profile waiting for Marluxia to find him again. His clothing had changed dramatically once he found a stray pouch of munny. A pastel blue button up top replaced the long white gown. The first and last two buttons were left unbottoned allowing his skin to drink in the sunset. His pants were a dark indigo slim jeans with a white belt securing it around his hips. Black sneakers covered his bare feet; although he hardly admired to wear them.
It was harder to get on the train as the world increased their security. They were quite pestering and defensive as it had taken him over an half an hour to get on the next train to Sunset Terrace. He heard there was a beach there and wanted to see it for himself. Samael never been to a beach and wanted to feel the freedom of the aqua and terra. The train ride lasted about another thirty minutes, which he spent gazing out the window. He was hoping that a heartless wouldn't cross his past looking for him. Marluxia said that staying here was dangerous because they will track him.
In his mind, he reflected at their black inky matterless bodies with illuminous yellow eyes that stood out from the black formatted abyss. His body shivered feeling the vibe of their intentions of their hard stare. He could feel the disturbance and lack of balance caused by their immense presence of an element darkness. Goosebumbps rippled on his skin at the thought of it. His element was his only aid to protect them. Perhaps that he's free, he could build a weaponry for him.
The speakers shook him out of his thoughts, "Next stop, Sunset Terrace."
Mimicking the people, he got up at the notice and approached the exit. Opening the door, he left the car to be right near the exit door with the sign, Do not lean against the doors. Once the train stopped and the doors were open, he left and followed the smell of the ocean and sand.

Seth walked through the streets of Sunset Terrace, a nice place, he kept his distance from the people though, he'd rather not have another incident like yesterday. He ran a hand through his green hair distracted, thinking over solace, the device that got him into this mess. He still felt he needed to go back and solve things but with his current ability it's be only a matter of seconds before they had him enslaved again. Thoughts of that brought him to the other boy in the facility, the one he followed to this world. He wondered where he was, surely he could love this new freedom.
He then saw a trace of blonde go by and a sweet smell. He did a quick 180 and saw someone that looked alot like him. If it was he'd be one of the luckiest people in the world. He walked at a fast pace and grabbed the boys shoulder. "Excuse me but may I have a word with you?" Seth said in a kind and carefree tone.
(Sorry if it's too short. Haven't posted in a while so the muse went away.)

At the simple touch, Samael didn't flinch, but merely turned his head to look at whomever was talking to him feeling nostalgic with a tint of familiarity. Amber eyes blinked up at pale Jade. The green hair was quite loud, but it reminded him of fresh new ivy leaves. He even thought of mints and could smell them in his nose. It was awkward to feel at ease all of sudden by a touch of a stranger, but something told him it was more than what met the eyes.
"I can't stop you. You already spoke more than one already." Samael spoke clearly taken back slightly by the kindness in the other voice. He never did well with strangers, but this one gave off a peaceful vibe that didn't bothered him. "I hope you don't mind walking and talking; I'm heading towards the beach. I don't see a reason why you won't like it, because... I can feel it moving in you."
With that he turned around to continue his search for the beach, while tugging the other along. The smell of sea-salt was getting stronger with every step, but he couldn't see it from where he was.

I can't stop you. You already spoke more than one already.
Seth chuckled "I suppose I have." It was him all right.
"I hope you don't mind walking and talking; I'm heading towards the beach. I don't see a reason why you won't like it, because... I can feel it moving in you."
Seth nodded, fine by him. As he was pulled along he spoke "That's rather impressive, most people can't tell the difference in my aura unless I shift to it. So tell me do you remember me at all from the facility? It hasn't been all that long ago." Seth inquired about that, as far as he knew they were the only 2 mutants outside of their world. He just hoped the facility wasn't a touchy subject to him.

"Well, not every person is any element themselves, so they possibly won't be able to feel the flow."
Hearing the mention of the facility, Samael stopped in his steps, then turned towards the other again. His large eyes were studying his feature trying to piece it with anything in his memory. Thus far only the hues of his hair was familiar; he couldn't even place a name with the face. The Institute didn't really allow him to interact with other mutants. The only one he truly had conversation with was Tigerlily before she died. He have seen many mutants, so it was complicated when one saw so many testers come in and out like cattles.
"Sorry, I don't even know your name. From the feel off it, you may be that screamer. It was one night during my nightly check-up; there wasn't as many scientists around me that time, because they were needed else. I asked about the change; at first, I thought it was a new scheduling in hours, but it was because there was a new mutant in the facinaties."
"They really like to make information like that quick, short, and simple. Even without telling me, I could tell that whomever was a handful with the immense waves of the elements. All of it seem to clash in my ears; it nearly sounded like a scream. I never asked about it; it seemed they never noticed. Then again, that would explain why Dr. Schneider interrogated me longer that day. He asked if I felt anything different unrelated to the test..."
With that, Samael turned around and continued walking. "I was escorted back to my garden that night. They hardly do that, but I guess they did it for a reason. I do remember passing a viewing room. You know the white rooms. They tend to have a glass for others to view what's going on like surgeries and what not. I only remember green hair...like yours with the doctor inside."
"Sorry if that didn't help much. Regardless, it seems that you remember me. How is that possible?"

Seth nodded his head at that and stopped when the boy turned around.

I asked about the change; at first, I thought it was a new scheduling in hours, but it was because there was a new mutant in the facinaties."
"It is all right I didn't expect you too anyway, I could only count the amount of times I saw you on my fingers. As for the new mutant you're right, I was taken there when they finally captured me. Apparently they had never seen a tetra and wanted to run tests, experiments, etcetera on me." Seth said, the memories were bad but he didn't dwell on them.
"They really like to make information like that quick, short, and simple. Even without telling me, I could tell that whomever was a handful with the immense waves of the elements. Then again, that would explain why Dr. Schneider interrogated me longer that day. He asked if I felt anything different unrelated to the test..."
Seth nodded his head again "As a tetra I had control over 4 elements, each with a different personality but all able to feel emotion. Each of us were angry but we let Perruro act, he isn't the most experienced but he can deal the most destruction. We had to submit though, because of those accursed collars." Seth had growled a bit at the end, he could still remember that pain.
"I was escorted back to my garden that night. They hardly do that, but I guess they did it for a reason. I do remember passing a viewing room. You know the white rooms. Seth shook his head "Yes that was the day I had become just another experiment to them. As for how I know you, as I said I had seen you several times around the facility before. The last time was when you wandered into that odd device that sent you here. I followed suit seeing you were no longer here. So Samael I owe it all to you for my freedom." Seth had a wide grin on his face at the end.

"I don't if that would be worth thanking me for, since it was a mistake. Then again, one can find a blessing in anything. Although for your case, I'm so entirely sure. You do know why they were so shocked about your existence?" Samael looked back at him knowing that he might not get an answer.
"Those who manipulate more than one element isn't a common trait. With being so rare, they are quite valuable and dangerous at the same time. I've read very few books in the fascility, and one was about the flow of the element. Elements can coexist with each other, but there's always a conflict with them between each one."
Turning a corner, he could see shacks that covered the sandy beach floor and hear the sounds of the ocean grow louder. He continued on, while kicking a rock along the way as he tried to remember the details of the book.
"For example, Flora and Terra goes well with Aqua, but Aqua can always drown Flora and Terra as Terra can be unsutible for Flora to grow and blossom. Pyro is the compliment of Aqua, but they can take each other out evenly. Aero can rip up Terra and Flora, while Terra can disturb it's natural flow. Aero can manipulate Aqua and Pyro. It can blow out Pyro or spread it. It can move Aqua about in large and small quantities. With that in mind, they find it unbelievable for such contrasting elements to be in one body."
"They believe that sooner or later the element would repel each other for their difference and literally drive the mutant insane before ripping it into shreads. In other words, you were their little experiment whether you would self-destruct from inner battles or not."

"Hm, while we have had our disputes in the mind and in sleep we've never fought for complete control. Hell, half the time we agree with one another. And as for ripping ourselves apart, well as long as we maintain control we'll be fine. And even if there ever is a large dispute, I, wind will probably come out on top because I've had more experience than the other elements." Seth said smiling at the end.
Seth then ran a hand through his hair and it shifted to a ocean blue and his eyes changed to an icy color. "While I am second. By the way I still haven't introduced myself properly. I am Ventulus Perruro Humus Aquaius, though I was given the nickname of Seth by my parents." His voice had taken on a more caring, joyful tone and he had a small smile.

"Wow the elements worked deeper than I suspected. You obtain a different personality with each of them. It as if that you aren't one person; you aren't you, but a them. Are your personality that drastically different? If so it wouldn't be surprising for each of you to have a separate name."
Samael felt a bit uneasy at the thought. He said we as if there's more than one person roaming around in his body. It made Samael wondered if they could have a complete conversation about him without even knowing. Also which one would be the original, or is there an original to begin with? It reminded him of the devil Legion, who was made out of multiple souls with a name meaning "many".
"So is there an original you, or is it always them, they, and we, Seth?"

Seth nodded his head the elements were quite the mystery. "Our personalities all differ but some alike. As Aquaius the aqua I show love and caring but can be cold and off putting. The pyro Perurro is hot headed and temperamental but has a caring and warm personality. The Terra Humus is calm, serious, and courteous. Finally the Aero Ventulus is carefree and cheerful."
"So is there an original you, or is it always them, they, and we, Seth?"
Seth nodded his head again "In a sense there was, Ventulus was the original. He was the one born if you will and could hear myself and the other two but as a child didn't know who we were. It was only when we were 5 did we shift. And just continue to refer to me as Seth, it is much easier and each of us enjoy it. Seth said with a smile.

"I see....," it was too early to tell if Samael enjoyed the thought of talking with four different entities. It was an awkward concept to grasp; four becomes one, but they have different personalities. Would that mean they would all have different thoughts and opinions? There's only one brain to hold all of that. His eyes shifted over to the one Seth's face that all four wore and saw the smile from the aqua.
Looking away, he wiggled his hands in his pockets as the scratched the materail of his pants, while kneeding the fabric, a sign of his slight uneasiness. Before the other could make a comment about it or talk, he spoke, "It won't be long now before we reach the beach. I can feel and smell it; it should be quite obvious for you. Right?"
The upcoming street was somewhat busy, but across from it was the parking lot for the beach. Samael wasn't used to cars, but it wasn't hard to know when to cross thanks to common sense. When the street was cleared, he commenced to walk until his shoes sank into the softness of the grainy sand.

Seth drifted back in his mind, they were all speaking of the boy and what they thought of him, the opinion was the same though, he was nice and meant no harm, they just wondered what he though of the humans. They all disliked them but he had met one that seemed caring enough, maybe it was because they weren't threatened by them.
"It won't be long now before we reach the beach. I can feel and smell it; it should be quite obvious for you. Right?"
Seth nodded his head "I can feel the water through the land itself it's waves hitting the shore sending out a vibration through the land unheard by most. The water is always there to be heard you just need to listen close enough. It is like the plants even under the land they are there still wanting to break through." He stopped as the odd vehicles passed by and walked as Samael did while his feet hit the sand.
He leaned down and picked up a handful of it letting it slip through his fingers before barely any remained. He then made a fist his eyes partly closed. "Tell me, what do you think of humanity?" He could determine where this boy stood, it was a rather personal question but one he felt needed to be answered.

Kicking his shoes off, Samael grabbed them, while jogging slowly towarda the shore before letting himself slide into the sand. He practically lounged in the sand, while burrying his hands deep in it. Hearing the question, Samael looked up at Seth.
"What's much to think about? We are a part of them, and we're not." Samael shrugged. "I don't and won't trust them easily if that's what you mean. If you're talking about home, then I can say that I've been recently acquainted with the idea of living without them. I was quite devistated. My whole life I've been controlled and manipulated to the point it felt natural in its own odd way. I've met others that found me foolish for that."
"I guess you can say I was. I never tasted freedom, but when I did was completely overwhelmed, shocked, and scared. Do I hate the people back at home? I don't know just yet, but I can say that I wish more for everyone back at home. I can say though that I do dislike what they have done to us, and I refuse for that to happen to me again."
Post by shinjihirako on Sept 6, 2009 22:06:08 GMT -4
Seth listened to his thoughts focused while kicking off his shoes. The boy was definitely a different person from the others he met. But he had never known freedom until now so of course he'd be different.
"And you?"
Seth sighed once before speaking "The easiest way to say it is that I hate them. I've never trusted them even less so when they took my family from me, and they hadn't sold them into slavery no they had slaughtered them, I was the only one left until 9 years passed and I was taken to the laboratory, I stayed there for 2 years my hatred and contempt growing each day. But after coming here I've met some that weren't like how I thought they'd be. I'll always hold that hate for the one's back home but maybe I can accept the one's here. I'm sorry for dropping all that on you but it's been so long since I've been able to hold just a normal conversation with one of my own. But enough of that, the beach isn't a place for sadness and depression. You know I still don't know your name." He put on a fake smile at the end of it, they were the only mutants left so they had to watch out for one another.

"I can't tell you to not hate them, because they have done horrible things to me, to you, to her, and the rest of us, mutants." Samael looked out to the ocean. This truly wasn't the place for depression. To rid of it, he inhaled deeply before exhaling.
"Even if you do accept the others here, you still have to be on your toes. Who knows what we both have walk into. Anyone can tell that we're new and simply smile at us. I just can feel how our natural oblivious nature can easily harm us both and be thrown in a similar position we were in at home."
