In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The shadowy rift shot out from the ground, its darkness contrasting with the bright colors that made up the Destiny Islands. Nokosu was the first to step out of the portal, followed by Marluxia. He was blinded by the light, having spent the past several hours in Traverse Town and the Realm of Darkness. Eventually Nokosu's purple eyes adjusted to the light, and he could see an endless expanse of ocean before him.
"A beach?" That was their first stop? Nokosu thought for a moment, and then realized it was better not to question his new companion about his choices in travel. The man had obviously seen a lot more than the young krezzican, and must have had a wealth of information to offer. Besides, how often did Nokosu get a chance to visit a world such as the Destiny Islands? The last few days he had were anything but relaxing, from finding a widow's husband to fending off heartless alongside a dragon.
He poked his finger through the holes and cuts in his shirt. Did they sell clothing on this island? Nokosu didn't mind walking around in ragged attire, but he didn't entirely enjoy the thought of being seen as a bum. Being seen as homeless was the least of his concerns at the moment. Nokosu was still curious about the army he was going to join. The darkness was messing with his mind, and he gave the choice little to no thought. Now would be the time to ask about this, before Nokosu got himself too deep. Sir, what else is there to know about this army that I will be joining? All I know is that I am fighting against those wish to cause harm upon others, whoever those are."

Marluxia strolled out of the portal behind Nokosu, making his choice of destinations only obvious to him. This world was the place where the other half of this twisted story began, where Sora was chosen, too Marluxia and probably only him, by the three leganday keywielders, Ven, Terra, and Aqua. There could have been no other explanation than that, the boy was simply to young to be chosen by the creator of the keyblade. Some higher calling was in charge. Scoffing slightly, Marluxia pulled out a robe from the darkness of the portal before it closed. It was an Organization XIII cloak. He tossed it to Nokosu hoping he would get the hint to put it on.
"You can call me Marluxia krezzican and yes. A beach. This is the birth place of a boy, well I would say teenager now, named Sora. Remeber that name as well. And this army I am gathering is to secure the safety of the worlds. But before I say more. Tell me, what is your knowledge of the Heartless and Nobodies? Since you mentioned fighting one, a powerful one."
Marluxia fixed his gaze at the main island in the distance. He figured Sora was most likely in school right now, sad to see the hero of light stuck in school after what he's been through. XI summoned his scythe and stuck the hilt in the ground, the weapon gleaming in the sun. He cocked his head to the side at glanced at Nokosu and asked, "Do you also know of the weapon known as the Keyblade?"
Before saying anything, the man pulled a black robe out from the dark corridor. The man must have noticed Nokosu poking at his clothes, something he had tried to keep inconspicuous. He caught the robe with one arm, and stared at the fabric. It was identical to the one Marluxia wore... did he have several of these? Perhaps it would be for when of his current robe got damaged. "I am sure he'll want this back." thought Nokosu as he unzipped the coat and slipped it over his body. To his surprise, it fit rather comfortably.
After handing him the Organization uniform, Marluxia spoke. Nokosu hadn't heard of anyone named Sora, but he must have been important for the Nobody to take the two of them to his birthplace. Will he get a chance to meet Sora? Marluxia continued, and asked what the krezzican had already known about the heartless.
"I picked up a bit of information, as I have been traveling from world to world for five years now. When someone gives in to the darkness, or a heartless steals their heart, they become a heartless. When someone with a very strong heart becomes a heartless, there is a chance that their body comes to life, and becomes a Nobody. Heartless thrive for hearts, and... well, that is pretty much all I know."
Marluxia's next question came as a bit of a shock to Nokosu. He stabbed his scythe into the sand, and asked if the young man knew what a keyblade was. Nokosu's mind flashed back to when he was fourteen, and remembered the life drain from the key bearer's eyes as he dealt the killing blow. His eyes sank from Marluxia, and stared at the sand below. "I know what a keyblade is. It is a large key-shaped weapon wielded like a sword. It is the only weapon that can keep a heartless from coming back, and very few people ever get chosen to wield them. They also have the power to lock or unlock anything, including the heart of a world." He thought of the possibility of himself wielding a keyblade, then dismissed the thought. He had already killed a keyblade wielder, and that probably dropped his chances of ever getting one to zero.
Marluxia was a tad surprised by the ammount of information this boy knew of what was happeneing to the worlds. Quite alot indeed. But nonetheless, this would prove useful in the bout with the Organization. XI gave up his intention of attacking the XII, they no longer saw him as a threat and neither has the Assassin. As long as each stays their own course that is.
"Good, you know more than most people do before it is too late. But Heartless are more than just that. They act mainly on instinct, even the twelve strongest ones. They have a foolish goal of ridding every world of it's hearts, but with no more humans are humanoids and animals....there would be no more hearts and they will die off. The Emblem ones anyway, the purebloods will always be around. The twelve I just mentioned, they are our main nuetral force. Even though I myself am a Nobody, I have left the Organization made of the strongest thirteen Nobodies and are being hunted down for it."
XI quickly caught on to the tone of Nokosu when he mentioned the Keyblade, a saddness dealing with the weapon surely must have been involved with his life. No surprise, the Keyblade is said to bring chaos and peace to a world. Never at the same time. Marluxia learned this the hard way as he rememberd when he was slain by that very weapon. By Sora no less.
"You sound sad about the Keyblade. Troubled past dealing with it I assume? Or are you angry that the one weilding it didn't do his job?"
"The twelve strongest heartless? Neutral? I thought you said all heartless acted on instinct. If they do, how would they form neutrality with someone?" Nokosu had thought that they would be fighting against the heartless. True, they weren't allies, but main neutral force? On the topic of heartless, there was a bit of new information that had reached his ears. Purebloods and Emblems. Seeing as without hearts the emblem heartless will die out, Nokosu made the assumption that emblems are formed when a heart is stolen. Purebloods are most likely born from darkness.
His face drifted from the sandy ground to the sword he gripped in his left hand. Telling someone he had slain a key bearer was the last thing he wanted to do, but the information would come out sooner or later. "Kind of both, really. Though the only reason he couldn't do his own job was because of me." Nokosu lifted his sword and stabbed it into the ground, mimicking Marluxia. He must not have been very skilled to be bested by a fourteen year old boy…" His voice trailed off. The source of his guilt, and the reason he fought to redeem himself. He thought of something to get the subject off this subject.
"Marluxia, I've noticed that you are able to make your weapon disappear and reappear out of thin-air, how do you do that?" That wasn't just a random question either, losing his weapon case; Nokosu would be forced to carry around his sword by hand. Sheaths don't work, considering the unnatural hotness of the blade.
"That's the question I ask myself, exactly why would Ienzo come to me and offer this? Intel is to be needed. And fast."
Marluxia turned back to face Nokosu and said with a strange grin, "Excatly, I said that to catch your attention, the Heartless try and use others for their plans, though they may have offered me and others help. They will surely kill anyone once their done with them. But for now, they are not out target. Those twelve, the Dark XII, anyway. Feel free to exterminate anyother Heartless you find."
Interesting. So a Keybearer did infact come to his world to save it, but in fear Nokosu was ordered to kill him. Interesting indeed. The Assassin gave a slight chuckle at the thought of Sora being that weak once, if only Xemnas had given the order this mess wouldn't be going on. "Really now? How a terrible denoumonte that turned out to be."
XI picked up Graceful Dahlia and tossed it to Nokosu at his question on how it can be summoned at will. The weapon was not sent spinning as to avoid hurting him, if Nokosu were to catch it, the weapon would instantly return to Marluxias hand. "It's called negative space. In relativity, a strong Nobody or Heartless, and even a Keyblader and human, sends their weapon deep into their respected element realms. Only to be called forward when they need them."
Marluxia held his arm up and a single rose petal fell from the sky and a second scythe appeared in his hands. The same as Graceful Dahila only black. XI had constructed this weapon to be used in disguise.
That made more sense. The "Dark XII", as Marluxia called it, was simply using others by the sound of it. But then, who else wanted to cause harm to the worlds if Marluxia’s aemy wasn’t targeting the Dark XII? Could it be that Organization XIII group? Nokosu had many more questions to ask this man about the factions, but felt that it would be best to wait for another time. Marluxia didn't seem like the kind of guy you'd want to bother with inquiries.
Nokosu was slightly annoyed with how Marluxia had chuckled after finding out about how he took the life of a key bearer. The following comment didn't help much either. However, he kept a blank poker face, making it seem as if the comment had bounced right off him.
"Negative space, huh?" He looked at the pink scythe that the Nobody had tossed to him. He caught it with both hands, only to have it shine in a burst of light and reappear in the assassin's grip. What a handy trick that was, it almost completely negates the hazard of being disarmed in combat.
"Is that a rose petal?" There were no roses in the area, but one floated down into Marluxia's hand. Why should the krezzican be surprised by that? He reminded himself that the Nobody had a power over plants. What surprised the young man even more was seeing the rose petal transform into a carbon-copy of Marluxia's pink scythe, only black.
"Did you summon that scythe from negative space too?"
With a slight smik Marluxia cast the weapon away and it vanished in a flurry of rose petals that floated away in the wind. Marluxia was the only one he knew that could pull his weapon from two places, the negative space, and through his own element. Perhpas Nokosu could learn the same.
"No, this one I made myself. Though it has the same strength and powers as my original, I can summon it out of nature at will. Much like a Keyblade can be summoned. Now, on to why we are here. I've seen your knowledge and fighting skills. But I need to know your observation skills. Go, tell me everything you can about this island just by looking and standing were you are"
"Observation? That doesn't sound too difficult." Nokosu felt like he had already failed in terms of showing his combat abilities, so he put extra effort into viewing his surroundings. First, they were on an island. Upon turning his head, Nokosu saw more land across the sea, and noticed many buildings. "Well I already failed there. I thought there was nothing but ocean around us." He put aside the discouragement, and continued looking. The island had an empty dock, and wooden buildings that appear to have been made haphazardly, like someone didn't care what the outcome was. Other than Nokosu and Marluxia, the island was near empty. The sky was bright and without clouds, the air warm, and the water looked crystal clear.
"Hmm... Well, it appears as if no one lives here. If someone did, I am sure they would have a boat at the docks. The wooden structures appear unfit for someone to live in. Also, if someone were to stay on this island, I am sure they would put more care into constructing their home," Nokosu pointed out to Marluxia the poor condition of the buildings. "But the buildings are there, so someone had to have built them. There is also the matter of the dock. I can safely assume people... visit the island?" That was all Nokosu could come up with. During his training on Krezzica, his father had taught him to always be aware of his surroundings. However, his observation skills have dropped, much like his fighting skill.
"Though I wonder why people would come to this island."
Nokosu frowned, and thought harder. What else was there about the island that he was missing? This place was empty. Kids were at school, and adults would be at work. "Kids have been playing on this island for many years now?" That would make sense. Perhaps the wooden structures weren't built to look like that, but looked shabby because of a child's attempt to cover a hole or to pretend they were a construction worker, but it still didn’t seem to fit in Nokosu’s head.
Kids come to this island to play, no... Adults like this place because..." The Krezzican continued to draw blanks. Marluxia was testing his observation skills, and there was something he was missing. He looked around the beach. It was free of debris, which seemed odd. There had to of been people who dump their garbage into the ocean, so why didn't it wind up here? One reason could be the sea’s current, but another...
"I believe this island is frequented by children. They come here to play and have fun." That was half a guess. Children or adults could have been to this island, and they could have a number of reasons. However, children tend to enjoy playing. He looked to Marluxia, hoping the Nobody's next response would be one slightly less negative.
Cue the eye roll. Marluxia decided to set the basics.
"Okay, look at the sand for starters. Not the average color and feel of sand thats been around an Island that is supposed to be rarely used even if children were here for a couple hours everyday. The top sand would be dark and riddled with their footprints and be darkned by all the stuff that goes on. But it's not, the sand here has special qualities, what they are even I don't know. Next, the buildings. You say that no one lives in them. Look again, they are built by the best logs and tools around. For an island there is few decent trees around correct? That is because they put much effort into making those buildings stay."
Marluxia paused for a second to let Nokosu see for himself. To Marluxia this is all obvious things, but to everyone else it seems that too much effort was put in. "Now, the waterfall behind you. The constant water flowing down should have corroded the stone to make the falls widen and fall faster. But it has not. It is safe to assume that either the sand is made of the same material of the stone or vice versa. And that cave behind the spring were the waterfall dumps its water. Seems awful small to be just a play cave, the opening would barely fit a child standing at full length. Most likly the opening was bigger but a recent natrual event caused it to cave. Then the faint indent of a door above the cave mouth, that would indicate that cave used to be off limits of still is and the door is being replaced..."
(I would say more...alot more. But I feel that Nokosu would be asking a question now)
((I have never been very observant... this keeps me from making a detective-like character, as awesome as that would be)
Nokosu was awestruck from the amount of information that Marluxia had gathered just from standing in that one place. The krezzican wasn't making observations (like he was supposed to), he was making inferences. All these tests they were conducting were merely pointing out Nokosu's flaws. Still, he hid all of his negative feelings away within the deep expanses of his mind, and his expression remained unchanged.
"But, what do those observations have to do with anything?" Sure, Marluxia had done this simply for a test, but Nokosu had assumed that the Nobody would also want him to formulate these observations into a hypothesis of some type.
(There you go, a question. Also, sorry for the short post. I am lacking inspiration as of late, it seems.)

Bradi had found himself near the seaside on an island in which he saw 2 unknown figures, The first one had long wild pink hair and wore a long zipped up black coat with a hood on the back black gloves and boots, while the other figure had big spikey black hair, while wearing a tight short sleeved black shirt, light brown cargo trousers, a gold wristband on his right hand and a white glove with a purple stripe on it with black and white sneakers with an orange colored sword talking to each other while Bradi tries to stay hidden by sneaking behind a thick tree while listening in on the conversation as he says to himself: "Woah, This sound heavy" while sweat starts to drip on his face.
((Alright, from here on out, the posting order will be :
Shotgun Cat Marluxia Bradi
Also Bradi, just pointing out that Nokosu is wearing an organization cloak over his usual clothing at the moment.))
Nokosu was looking out to the sea, trying to reflect on his faults, when he saw a movement in his peripheral. Movement! As Nokosu turned to look down the shore at where he spotted said movement, there was nothing but shoreline and foliage. However, one bush in particular caught his interest, and that was because of the way it had rustled. It was natural for the sea's breeze to blow across the sand, but this one bush's movement had raised the krezzican's suspicion.
The young man could easily reach the bush and catch whatever was hiding behind it, but reasoning kept him from doing so. If by some chance there was someone behind the bush, and Nokosu caught him, he might show that he was more observant than he had let on. However, if he caught merely an animal or nothing at all, he would probably be scolded or something of the like. There were scenarios like these on Krezzica. Soldiers may find an enemy spy, or walk right into an ambush.
Nokosu, who was currently conflicted, looked to Marluxia. He was sure that the Nobody had noticed the movement as well. He gripped the handle of his sword, throwing an obvious gesture to his companion.
