In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

In Twilight Town's Sunset Terrace the train pulled into the station at it's regular time like it did each and everyday. Slowly, like they did everyday at this time, the door drew open. Fearon, sitting inside the train, looking down to the ground looked up to the doors and then over to Penny who sat on the train across from him. She smiled slightly before standing up to her full height. Fearon took a breath before standing also.
Walking out of the train he looked around. The beach laid out in front of him, and behind him Penny looked up to the brown haired nine-teen year old, then leaned to the right a bit to get a better picture of what he was looking out at. Fearon however, stood still as a post. He looked down toward the beach, remembering how many times he'd walked off this train and down the steps to his left. Penny behind him, cocked her head slightly before pocking him.
"Fearon? You okay?" she asked. Blinking, and drawn out of his thoughts, he frowned slightly and looked down to her with a nod. His long brown hair falling into his eyes slightly.
"Yeah, I'm fine. For the most part. Come on, we've got work to do." he replied before walking down the few steps just in front of the station. Penny blinkblinked and cocked her head before following along and looking around. Now... where had they left Bolt? Somehow, Fearon had accidentally transported himself and Penny up onto the ship, but had left Bolt behind. Penny guessed Fear had been feeling pretty bad about it, and in fact he had been. Bolt, whether he had been dog or not, was his best friend, even if the dog liked the young red head more. Then again, why wouldn't he?
Turning he started down the steps taking them two at a time, eager to find his friend. As he transcended the flight of stairs, he had to wonder; why had they even come to Twilight Town in the first place? It wasn't like Bolt and he tore up the town looking for Penny. Fearon swallowed remembering that day, it felt like a lifetime ago. Penny cocked her head following him down the steps.
"You sure you're okay, Fearon?" she asked with a worried tone in her voice. Once again, he nodded. She blinked before giving a small sigh. It was thanks to Fearon that she had even survived, much less found Bolt. Well Bolt found her really. She didn't like seeing him like this. The way she saw it, the sooner they found Bolt the better. Fearon took a breath as they reached the final step. Stopping on it, Fearon looked around. There were three ways they could go, either to the right that led to an alleyway, or the left that led down and around, or straight, which lead to a smaller tram that went back and forth. Fearon never really understood the use for it, but whatever.
"Well, lets go. Gotta be here somewhere. We've looked everywhere else." he said stepping down from the stair. Penny smiled slightly as she followed. They took the right, the alleyway.

And here was exactly where Bolt was... Well... More like underground. He was chasing some hamster in a ball, thinking it might be Rhino, only to find out it was just a runaway pet of someone's. Unfortunately for him and the pet hamster... They were now lost in the underground tunnels. And to make matters worse... Heartless and Nobodies were flowing throughout the tunnels. "Don't worry, little guy. I'll keep you safe." Bolt said to the hamster. To anyone else, it would sound like barks, whines, and growls. But to the hamster, he understood what Bolt said perfectly and nodded, looking very scared.
Bolt picked up the hamster in the ball and started to run around, trying to find the way that they came in at. He knew that it was with a number 2 over it, but other then that... he couldn't remember. He had no idea which way to go, and the heartless and nobodies were just increasing in number. Turning around, he let out a few short bursts of his heat vision before turning around and running down the corridor, the hamster ball with the hamster safely inside it.
'Come on... Where is it?' Thought Bolt as he ran throughout the tunnels. He had to find the way out quickly or else the heartless would be too much. Where was Penny and Fearon at a time like this? As much as he would normally love to blame the hamster for looking too much like Rhino, it was Bolt's fault for not just calling out the name Rhino and seeing if the little hamster would respond. Coming to that realization, Bolt just got more sad at the fact that he lost his two best human friends again, and now needed to find two humans, a cat, and the correct hamster. This was just getting to be too much for the Superdog.
He continued to run around, looking for the sign that said "2" but he couldn't find it. He passed by the number 4 and decided to run up, just to see what could be up there. It was the large area with the candy store and the tram that went around throughout the entire area. Bolt turned around and went back into the tunnel. He found a 3, which lead to the small side street. Then he found a 5 which led to the station. But where was the 2? He had to set the hamster ball down for a second before letting out a small superbark toward the oncoming heartless.
With that launched, he ran off toward a different direction and finally found the number 2! He ran through and found that he wasn't out just yet. A large, sunken platform was to his right as a couple of large, shadow heartless appeared. Bolt stared up at it before setting the hamster ball down in the corner. "Stay there." He said in dog talk before launching out some short bursts from his heat vision as well as some small superbarks. This guy was gonna take a bit longer to take out. "Penny... Fearon... Where are you..." He thought, inadvertantly sending a telepathic message to Penny, allowing her to know exactly where he was as Bolt continued to fight the large Shadow.

Fearon and Penny walked down the alleyway, flanked on both sides by high rising walls that blocked the sun out and turning the day into a brighter version of night. The only sounds were their light footsteps echoing faintly off the walls. Each of them were worried about their friend. Fearon knew just how dangerous this place could be at dusk and throughout the night. Nobodies and heartless prowling the streets getting into fights amongst one another.
His head was a brown blur as he turned it to the left thinking he saw a flash of white. But he didn't, he gave an exasperated sigh as he shook his head and looked to Penny. The young girl looked up to him with a worried expression then back to her surroundings looking for her friend and pet. Cupping her hands around her mouth she yelled,"Bolt! Here boy!" sadly her efforts were to no avail. She only winced slightly at the thought of losing him again. Her best friend.
Eventually, after calling his name multiple times, the duo came to a branch off in the alley. Walking by it they saw it was nothing more then a dead end and thus walked on ignoring the branch off. Fearon grew more intense in his search now shoving trash cans out of the way and even going as far as to look inside them creating a slight clamor in the alleyway that echoed along the walls that rose around them a tad ominously. They each walked on in silence, not wanting to brave the fact that they're friend may very well be on another world or worse...
Neither wanted to even consider the latter. Emerging from the alley they walked into an open street that to their right led down toward the tram. To their left led into a literal labyrinth of tunnels that would take you across Twilight Town. In front of them led a way toward the very hill where Bolt and Fearon had started their journey. The swordsman smiled a bit remembering the encounter. A small bark in his ear that enacted a journey that Fearon was STILL traveling.
Penny only stood there wondering where Bolt could have gotten to. The two had searched everywhere else so where then? She only hugged herself a bit before looking up to Fearon.
"Fearon?" she asked getting his attention. He looked to her. "I think we should split up. You know, cover more ground." It was a logical suggestion, and one that made sense plenty to Fear. Still... he was a tad wary of leaving a twelve year old girl who barely had control over what she could do alone in a city that was about to become infested with Heartless and Nobodies. Still, he could see her point. Looking around he considered it for a moment before finally nodding. The faster they found Bolt the better.
"Yeah, okay. Here, you go check up on sunset hill and I'll-" he was suddenly cut off by Penny who nearly screamed when she suddenly heard something.
"Penny... Fearon... Where are you..."
Well, she didn't really 'hear' it as much as feel it being wrote into her mind. Still, she knew where Bolt was! She smiled and pointed toward the tunnels.
"Quick! He's in there!" she said and started off, dashing toward the entrance. Fearon blinked before following her wondering how Bolt had found himself wondering around the tunnels when the day was ending, and the night was just beginning.
Penny was first to reach the corner. She turned it sharply and stopped when she saw it. A slight drop off, a metal grating, and a little white dog standing in front of a giant heartless. Wait, that was HER little white dog!
"Bolt!!" she yelled. Fearon soon turned the corner also, and blinked seeing the huge heartless. He knew instantly that this was not gonna be a simple walk in the park. Swallowing slightly he looked from Penny to Bolt and to the Heartless wondering which one would one would make the first movement. Neither of them noticed the hamster in the corner looking terrified.

Bolt just stared up at giant shadow heartless, even as he heard the voice of Penny echo through the small, enclosed space. Through the corner of his eye, Bolt could see Fearon was standing there as well, but there was little that Bolt could do. He had to protect the little hamster. Animals had to stick together after all, even more so, despite his hate for the word, Pets had to stick together. And judging from the ball, Bolt could only assume this hamster belonged to someone else.
He didn't say anything to them as he stood in an offensive stance. His head was thrown back a bit before he stared right at the heartless, releasing a nice, continuous heat beam at it. The singe could be heard as it hit the heartless, but the shadow charged, and much faster then Bolt expected as he would just barely miss a hit from the large shadow. He jumped over the hand and landed on it, grabbing on with his teeth and not letting go. His voice would be kind of muffled with his mouth stuffed with the arm of the heartless, but Fearon and Penny should be able to hear what he said.
"I'll keep it distracted, you attack! Hurry!" He said as he tried to look back at the hamster who just stared at Bolt and the heartless, not really knowing what was going on, but incredibly terrified. The large shadow started to flail its arm about, trying to fling Bolt off. But a canine's jaw is powerful, and it would take quite a bit to get Bolt to let go. As such, he kept hanging on, though getting dizzy in the process. This was going to equal a VERY serious headache. But now it was Fearon and Penny's turn to strike. They had to do it quickly or else this was not going to be too fun for Bolt in the long run...
Bolt answered Fearon's question as he projected a beam of heat from his eyes. They both smirked slightly as they watched AND heard the beams of blistering heat hit the heartless. The smirks disappeared as it still charged at their friend. At that moment, Penny's stare turned into a scowl and her eyes went a bright, almost translucent, blue. They also gained a distant look to them, as if she wasn't with the world anymore. All the while Fearon watched Bolt tackle the large heartless confident the little dog could take it. Hell, with what Fearon saw of his little white companion, he'd bet the dog could take care of just about anything.
"I'll keep it distracted, you attack! Hurry!"
With some help of course. Fearon grinned as he drew his blade. At the same time he dug in his pocket. Penny, her eyes with an empty yet pissed look, stared at the heartless. She didn't want to do anything with Bolt still on the manifestation of darkness, but with her current limited control of her 'abilities' as she called them (calling them powers freaked her out) she didn't have much choice. Fearon grinned up at the heartless, but Penny in the corner of his eye caught his attention. He blinked and looked to her, then back to Bolt.
"Bolt!! Let go!!" he shouted just Penny attempted throwing the heartless to the left, then to the right, then into the air. Each time it would strike it would fell like a car had crashed into it going thirty miles an hour. The heartless would be flung into the air. Fearon, on the ground, could see his chance. Looking down to the orb he'd drawn out of his pocket he smirked.
It was silver. The most powerful orb in Fear's stock.
He would place it into the hilt of his blade and run forward keeping the power from unleashing itself using his own mana. He would stop four feet from where the heartless had been thrown into the air and in one smooth quick motion he'd stab the blade into the ground and allowed one, strong, thin stream of air to shoot out of the end of his blade which was impaled into the floor. Fearon felt his arm jerk up as the blade shot up, nearly pulling his arm out of his socket.
His shoulder would be hurting tomorrow. Higher and higher the swordsman would climb, until he was just above the heartless. Finally, he would let the power go and silvery cords of air would begin to twist and turn around his blade. He hoped Bolt had followed his advice and let go cause this would hurt if not. Flipping frontwards in the air to add force to his swing he brought the blade down on the heartless. The cords of air acting like one-thousand knives cutting into the manifestation of darkness multiple times. It would twitch with every slice. Suddenly, the cords of air would blow against the heartless, Fearon controlling it with his mana. The heartless was thrown to the ground and landed with a crash.
Fearon finally landed in a crouch not far off, the hair shadowing his face. The cords of air fell and struck the heartless like one-hundred lances, stabbing into it. Surely, the silver orb was the most powerful orb in Fearon's stock, to bad they were so rare and hard to make. The long haired teen stood and turned. His head twisted from side to side looking for Bolt.
Only suddenly, there would be a sound that would echo throughout the tunnelways. Something that sounded like some something crashing into a wall. Looking over to the heartless he now saw that it was no longer on the ground. Instead pinned against the brickl. He looked to Penny. Her luminescent gaze bore into the heartless, driving him into the wall.
She was empty, her mind vacant, she thought not, she heard not, she saw not. This wasn't her. This was something, someone else. Her power had taken her over, and it wasn't letting go. Not until this heartless was dead. So she stared at it longer and harder, attempting to drive it into the wall further.
If Penny pressed much harder, the heartless would not only be flat as roadkill, the roof would end up falling in on them eventually.

Bolt continued holding on, but was eventually told to let go. He waited until just when Penny had started to throw the heartless. At that moment, he jumped off, landing near the small hamster and keeping him safe. He watched as Penny held it still after slamming into the walls, floor, and ceiling a couple of times, and then Fearon unleashed a massive attack. Bolt was quite proud at seeing that, but kept his eyes on the heartless as it was slammed into the wall. He felt a little strange...
Looking over at Penny, he saw her eyes as they were empty. Her power flowed through Bolt, used as a medium for the attacks. Unfortunately, this unleashing of power was actually causing pain to Bolt. He whined a bit from the pain, dropping down on his front paws, a look of pain on his face. A yelp came next as he whispered "Penny... Stop...." He felt as if he could pass out any moment. The pain was unbearable. It was worse then anything he had ever felt. He could barely even see right now. He just hoped that Penny would eventually stop with her attack, but he knew right now that this meant she would probably never use it again for fear of hurting Bolt. He didn't want that, but he couldn't stand this pain. It had to stop...

Fear watched the young girl in a slight essence of horror. Never had he seen that look in her eyes. It was an indifferent look that said she cared not for the world. It was a distant look that clearly said she wasn't her. He knew very well how the power the young girl possessed worked, he was the one who had hypothesized it in such a way such a long time ago. But this was different. Somewhere behind him, he heard a yelp. He blinked and turned around.
"Penny... Stop...."
Fearon heard the dogs plea, sadly, however, she stood deaf and mute to the world. Penny, her eyes empty, the power flowing freely. She had lost any and all control over the ability that she'd previously had and it had, hopefully, temporarily consumed her. For a while she'd been on edge, aware of a ever present existence within her own heart, body, and mind. She never told Fearon or Bolt cause she didn't want them to worry, she was sure it was nothing anyway. The redhead was quite wrong. If left unchecked this ability, and problem, or her's could quite easily kill them all. She bore her small white teeth as she took a step closer, a pulse seeming to shock and raddle the air around them as she stepped. the heartless was drove farther into the wall with not only a sickening crack but also a sound that wasn't exactly a pleasure to Fearon's ears. He turned back away from Bolt, worry encroaching upon his heart and watched as a crack appeared, climbing it's way up the wall, zigging and zagging until it hit the corner where to two, the wall and ceiling, met. He frowned deeply as he turned toward Penny and gasped.
She... was glowing. Bright blue that matched her eyes that grew more intensely. He swallowed, knowing what he was about to do meant, but steeled his will and ran toward her.
After all, it was probably the only way.
He grabbed her by both shoulders and shook her some.
"Penny! Sto-" Fearon was cut off by a wave of energy that ripped his hands from her shoulders. It felt like stones, heavy stones, being beat against his wrists. Next thing he knew he felt a large force press suddenly, and with great power, against the trunk of his body(his chest and stomach areas). He was sent from the ground, flying back a good ten feet before he landed on his back skidding a bit before coming to a full stop. That... hurt.
The girl who was no longer Penny- but now a deep, blue, glowing, energy dis-charger- stood staring at the heartless. The air quaked with the energy sent out. This was what happened when something built up. It had to be discharged. Just like a static shock or a lightning strike, this was just a discharge. A discharge that was to much for the mind and body of a certain eleven year old girl. Her mind was no longer there and would take time to recover from the experience. A body that would be powerless for a good long time.
A deep, deep, sleep would be awaiting the girl after this was over.
Now however, she stood the air seeming to dance around her as the pulses grew in more intensity soon cracking walls all around. Then, her mind cleared a little. A part of her mind where things were deeply rooted. Things that were the most primal instincts. Things that were created in the brain back when humanity first clambered out of the primordial ooze that had plagued it for so long. One thought rang out in that small primal part of the brain.
It wasn't breath. It wasn't keep your heart beating. Oh no, no, this thought was something that would only be a 'primal' thing to Penny and only Penny.
Bolt.
And like an antidote that rids the body of toxins the thought ran through her consumed mind. Chasing out the power that plagued it.
"Bolt..." came the word. It seemed to echo and be carried along with the pulses.
Suddenly, within the blink of an eye, it stopped. The air was still, the pulses stopped, and she stood there. Her brown eyes staring blankly ahead. Wide eyed and shaking she stood. No thought in her injured mind. Falling to her knees, her breath caught in her throat forming a sob. She was hurt. She could feel it, a massive headache and a deep internal ache in her body that went down to the very core. Tears welled in her eyes as she fell to her face, loosing all trace of consciousness.
Fearon blinked, his eyesight, blurred, slowly sharpened itself. Colors returned first, after that shape, and then form. Then he could see as sharply as he ever could.
The first thing he saw was both of his friends, hurt and injured. But before he did anything, he had to get to his feet. It hurt to breath, but he did it anyway. Bolt may have been the most powerful of the three, but Fearon still felt he was responsible for the welfare of the two. Getting to his feet, the world spun and he fell back against the cracked wall. Penny had thrown him farther than he'd thought.

The more intense the energy coarsed through the air, the more pain that Bolt felt. How was this possible? His powers had returned, so he should be perfectly capable of being invincible. Yet... Here he was, feeling pain, much like he felt when he jumped out of the back of that truck and cut his paw. Though... this was MUCH worse. Regardless, Bolt knew that he had to hang on, for Penny. He felt that he was the only connection she had to this world, and he couldn't fall. He almost did, his legs almost giving way, but he shifted his legs to keep himself standing.
"Penny....." He said, just trying to hold on. She had to stop, she just had to. She couldn't do this with her best friend. She said that she would always protect him, and yet... Here she was hurting him. Though what happened next was strange. He heard his name. And almost immediately after, Bolt felt the pain just stop. He looked around, still feeling the previous pain, but the pain had stopped coming. He watched as she was now in pain, and watched Fearon who was trying to get up after having been launched by Penny.
Fearon was dizzy, so now it was Bolt's turn. Making sure he was standing and able to move, he slowly moved closer to Penny, leaving the hamster still sitting in the corner. The hamster ball was incredibly cracked, but he was still fine. Bolt eventually made his way over to Penny and nudged her, whining a bit. He hated to see her like this, and hoped she was okay before looking up to Fearon with a longing look as if he had absolutely no idea what to do. This was really getting bad...
In the deepest realm of her mind, Penny couldn't feel, she couldn't see, she couldn't move, she couldn't think. Docile and idle was a perfect description of her now. Fearon on the other hand was only dazed, and very dizzy. Pushing himself up from the wall he looked to them. Or what he thought was them. They swung and wavered, to and fro between that way and this. He could feel his stomach begin to churn and reject a few of it's contents. A sour, copper taste arose in his mouth as he buckled over and vomited. That was better, to an extent of the word. His world was no longer a spinning tire swing anyway. Straighting himself up, he swallowed what remained with a disgusted grimace before he began to walk over to Bold and Penny.
A pain in his midsection and rib told him that not everything was right internally, but he hid a pain filled grimace as he labored over to the two. As he approached them his discomfort became more obvious when he fell to his knees beside them. His laborous breathing was a heavy indicator as to his untimely discomfort. Looking over Penny in a bit of shock and disbelief, he glanced to Bolt.
Whom could've guessed that such a young, fragile looking girl could hold so much power within her? Looking back to where the heartless was once previously, he swallowed then looked back to the red-head, unconcious girl. He could see her eyelids twitch in her deep sleep. Leaning forward he placed his middle and index fingers just under her jawbone where it connected up to the neck.
Thump-thump, thump-thump, thump-thump
It was steady, good. He looked to a very worried looking dog.
"She's alive, she'll be fine." He announced, attempting to quell his compainions worst fears. Getting to his feet, he was suddenly light-headed. With a sigh he pulled back his sleeve revealing what seemed to be a slightly oversized wristwatch, not that it didn't function as one also, but no. The intent and purpose of this device was a tracking device set up for the transporter in his gummi ship to know exactly where he was. Pressing a button on it's side not only himself but Bolt and Penny also were engulfed in a blast of light, only to vanish a second later, along with the three friends.

As Bolt watched Fearon check Penny's heartbeat and tell him that she was alright, Bolt felt a bit at ease, but still didn't want to leave Penny's side. However, there was one thing he needed to do, and as Fearon pulled out the watch that he knew was the transporter, Bolt ran over to the hamster he had helped and smashed the rest of the hamster ball, picking up the hamster in his mouth and throwing him up, catching it on his head before running off to the entrance to the tunnel, or in this case... the exit.
He lowered his head, allowing the hamster to leave and said in an animal speech "You're safe now... Now run straight home, okay?" The hamster squeaked happily before running off. Bolt then ran back to Fearon and Penny and said "Okay... I'm ready..." Fearon would then press the button and the three would transport to the Gummi Ship.
Once they arrived, Bolt wiggled his way under Penny and lifted her up, taking her over to the bed and laid her down on it. The pain had almost completely gone away from Bolt, so now it was his time to watch over Fearon and Penny. Fearon probably had some broken bones, and Penny was entirely exhausted. She wouldn't be able to move for a little while, and that much, he did know.
Bolt then looked to Fearon and said "You need to rest too... Penny threw you pretty far and hard. So you need to rest too. And you need to heal... " He hated to see them in pain, but he knew that they needed to rest and get better. So now Bolt would take care of his two friends, like they had taken care of him so many times. Penny took care of him for years before coming to these worlds, and Fearon took care of him when he had no one else. He took care of both him and Penny when they used a lot of energy on the Pride Lands. And now... Bolt would finally return the favor...
Fearon watched Bolt carry Penny to the bed. He knew the dog needed not any help. It was obvious to Fear that Bolt was feeling quite fine after his little incident. He only made his way to the fridge. Leaning over, he grabbed a chilled bottle of water, condensation ran down the bottle and pooled where his hand stopped it. It was cold, but Fearon's slightly fevered skin was pleasently pleasured by the warmth stealing tempretures. In fact, Fear was well over normal body tempreture. Three degrees over. Opening the bottle, he took two long drinks, depleting the bottles supply of water to nothing more than half full. He made his way to the control chair.
"You need to rest too... Penny threw you pretty far and hard. So you need to rest too. And you need to heal... "
Fearon knew the dog was right, but if they stayed long enough for him to totally heal, they'd be here for weeks. He was well enough to travel. And besides, every day was another day that Bolt's friends would become heartless. And Fearon wouldn't let Bolt go through that pain, not even if it meant that he'd have to go through these spikes of pain that lanced through his body, toe to skull, and made him wince with every step. So simply and evasivley he said "I can rest when I'm dead." with a wave over the shoulder at the dog. He climbed up into the control chair and a blast of pain shot through his body, but he no more than winced.
Once he was settled into the chair he pulled the keypad over to him and settled the water bottle upon the armrest. His fingers immediatley leapt for the keypad as if the two were intimate lovers that had been seperated for a long time. The two danced together with a noisy clash of typing and Fear mumbling what he was typing under his breath. Upon the screen where the space would normally be displayed, popped up a detailed map of the universe. Leaning back in his chair, he stared at the map. His elbow leaned on the left armrest, his middle finger under his chin, his index finger rubbing against it. Mentally, he tugged at the odds of them being in each of the worlds one at a time.
Sadly, the odds of each world fell down to nothing making him excited about going to that particular world. Mentally, he scratched out Twilight Town. It was searched twice now. He looked at one particular world on his map.
Wonderland he thought. I wonder...
Fear had been there once before, he swore he'd never go back to that hellhole. A queen with an unhealthy obsession with the phrase, "off with his head" and cards running about. Rabbits who were 'late for a very important date' and a cat who spoke in strange riddles that struck even one such as Fear with complexity.
Taking his free hand he pressed a button and a red circle ringed itself around the pink world.
"Prepare yourself, where going here next." he said to Bolt.
