Vasking In The Darkness (Open by request)

Kade was alone in the second distirct taking a walk. His shorts were torn and his sheild was covered in scratch marks. He was getting tired of heartless. But at least they were small enough to handle. He had never seen a heartless bigger than a puppy.

Kade continued to walk throughout Traverse Town hoping against hope heartless wouldnt appear. Well long story short he has bad luck. Kade looked up. It was collosal. It was darkness. It was mean. It was a Darkside heartless. "Ive never seen a heartless like that its huge"!Kade exclaimed. Could his shield get the job done? No! He needed help. He needed some companions. Still he drew his sheild and charged through the heartless.

Zero was in the area, leaping from building to building with the assistance of wind. Heartless were getting in the way; a few Shadows, and a few Soldiers. Zero sighed, his eyes showing hints of annoyance. 'Haven't had any good gigs recently, and this mercenary is getting annoyed. These little guys will have to suffice,' Zero thought, drawing his sword: Claw of the Wind, and swung it, sending a gust of wind at the Heartless. He pulled out his other sword: Cyclone's Rage, and dashed at the Shadows, slicing clean through them. He smirked to himself, then he took out the Soldiers.

Zero was about to put away his weapons, then he heard someone say something about a Heartless. He looked to his left, where the street was, and saw a Darkside Heartless, and a man standing in front of it, holding a shield. "I don't think this guy's a match for that Heartless. Better go give him a hand," Zero said, jumping down to the street.

"Hey there! Ya need help?" he called out to the man, drawing Claw of the Wind as to get ready for battle.

Kade heard someone say from a distance Hey Thar, need help. Kade looked over towards a man only a few feet away. "Me need help? Thats ridiculous. Do you know who I am"?Kade answered smugly. His Ego was inflated. Kade threw his sheild like a boomerang at the face of the heartless. It didn't do much the giant foe only stumbled backwards and Creed, his trusty sheild returned to his hand.

Kade looked at the enemy and thought to himself "Okay maybe I do need help.

"Alright, then," Zero spoke, leaping towards Darkside, swing Claw of the Wind.A gust of wind was sent flying at the Heartless. Not really meant for damage, but as a distraction. Zero drew his other sword, the lighter one, and ran around to the other side of the Heartless.

Zero focused his energy into Cyclone's Rage. Wind around him began to swirl into a cyclone around the blade. "By the way, the name's Zero!" he yelled over the roar of the wind.

Kade looked up at Darkside and yelled to Zero "Nice to meet you Im Kade. Now whats say we end this"?Kade threw his sheild like a boomerang towards Zero yelling "Catch". Perfect now instead of Two people with no hope there was one person who could probably end this quicker than Kade ever could.

Kade only hoped that more shadows didn't pop up while he was defenseless. Kade found some large rocks on the gorund and started heaving them at the heartless. He didnt know if this would be effective but the least he could do was try.

It has been quite a long time, since the shell had cracked. He had to give himself a break or he would snap at an unneeded moment. Today wasn't any concern in drawing attention to himself; it was all about releasing tension. If it was taken out now, all of his work could be in jeopardy. There were high doubts that who he would stumble upon would fuel the deep hungry desire, instincts; despite it all, whomever would do just fine.

Yellow hued eyes watched from a far. It was hardly revealed not wanting to turn fellow members into stone as well as experiments. Darkness coated over them for none would see them and be affected; it would be less fun and thrilling, and the purpose to be made would be out of reach. The Heartless thrived for a hunt. The lives of those in jeopardy didn't register. People may call Heartless selfish, but instincts are just as simple as the morals humans abide themselves by. Animals could simply coexist together running on pure instincts; they are any morals of not killing or stealing ranks.

A silent message was given as the Darkside's head turned to look at the duo. It's hair wiggled like the snakes on Medusa. Elaeus got a view of its empty heart shaped abdomen. It's large unproprotionate arm lifted to block the wind as a rock fell through it. This was darkenss they were playing with. It will take something powerful to fully affect this obsidian being.

On a rooftop, a dark portal revealed a black four legged body. The darkness coated it mass in a shape of a swirling darkness compositied canine. Leaning low, the predator watched its future prey before it would willingly present itself.

"Nice to meet you, Kade! And I agree, so let's end this fight," Zero hollered as he saw the shield coming with a spin. He caught it, and threw it up at the Heartless. Zero looked down at his swords, Claw of the Wind, and Cyclone's Rage. Cyclone's Rage had a thick gust of wind swirling around it at the moment. Zero started charging energy into it a good while ago. Now, it should have enough power. Zero swung the sword towards Kade's shield, releasing a gust of wind that sped up Kade's shield and it's rotations per minute.

Zero watched the shield intently. It should be enough to decapitate the Darkside. And... yes! The shield cut straight through the head of the giant beast. It stumbled as it dissipated into a sheet of darkness. "Whew," Zero huffed, wiping the sweat off of his nose.

Kade looked shocked as Creed flew back to his hand. Okay he was mad now. Mad and jealous but he tried not show it. Zero used his sheild better than him. HIS SHEILD. "Well"? Kade asked. "Wasn't it just delightful to get the pleasure of helping me"? Play your cards right and maybe I'll let you do it again sometime".Kade said smugly walking ovet to Zero and extending his hand for a shake. Guess all the heartless are gone for now huh?

The Darkside's mass began to form back together after the shield distorted it's frame. It's yellow eyes glared at the two before raising its large hand up and slamming it down into the ground. A quake shifted through the ground releasing a spawn of shadows. With an order, it faded back into darkness.

While the quake dispersed, the black darkness coated canine sank into the roof like a shadow before walking out of the ground behind the pair. Both of them were male. The Heartless snorted with a raised lip revealing dreadful gleaming daggers for teeth. Sharp claws scrapped against the ground making an uneasy sound surpassing nails and against a chalkboard.

A louder snort made the creature behind them more noticeable as the shadows wobbled in front of them. There they were between children of darkness, and Elaeus wasn't in his planning humane mindset. Tonight he was an animal.

"Nothing wrong with a Heartless rumble now and then, right?" Zero said, smirking as he shook Kade's hand. Out of the corner of his eye, Zero spied the Darkside begin to form once again. "What the hell?" Zero shouted angrily. "I just killed that!"

Suddenly, more and more Heartless; Shadows, began to materialize. Zero growled, gritting his teeth. Cursed Heartless just kept coming, didn't they? Zero heard a snort. "Kade, do you get the feeling that we're being watched?" he muttered, although it was obvious that there was something or someone extremely dangerous behind them. Zero just didn't know who or what. He turned slowly behind him. What he saw was another Heartless; but this one had a strong aura of darkness, dagger-like teeth and claws, and it was looking straight at them.

"Aw, man," Zero muttered, sighing. Another fight, he sensed, and he didn't like it.

"Kade do you get the feeling we're being watched"?

Kade did feel a little odd like there was a presence at work. He saw Zero turn around and so he did the same. And would you believe what he sees coming. Heartless with sharper teeth and claws that were a bit larger than the normal ones. He couldn't speak he had been weakend before Zero kill the Darkside. It seemed like everything was happening at once. Kade could not take he felt sick and he was terrfied. All at once the world spun around him and things began to blur. It seemed to last foreveR until he finnaly hit the ground hard,unconcious, and Creed, his sheild fell out of his hand and hit the ground with a loud CLANK!

Elaeus snorted black mist not appreciating the fallen unconcious body before him. It actually digusted him at the source of his high descended. No matter, taking the heart shall bring back a bit of its worth, despite this boy being as weak hearted as a shadow.

Not feeling threatened at all, the Black Canine crept towards the sleeping body with baring fangs. A paw covered the shield that laid idely to the floor not paying attention to Zero. The charcoal nose snorted darkness that swam like stream into the boy's body.

Kade didn't feel right. He was still unconcious. His heart was turning into a battle ground and he couldn't wake up. He didn't hear anything that seemed like a battle, but in the distance he heard his sheild give off a faint SHING. somebody hand move it slightly. Either that or touched it how could he know? Kade stomach churned but there was nothing he could do about it. Something was watching him about to attack him. He didn't know what but it was definately there. Every nerve in his body pushed involuntarily. Muscles had spasyms. Kade's body was in trumoil but his mind wouldn't surface.

Without opening his eyes Kade stood up and began to waddle around aimlessly for a few seconds. Kade was beginning to look like a zombie but then he turned around and faced a heartless. A heartless that had put its paw on Kade's sheild. He began to approach the heartless. With Kade's mind not surfacing he was running on pure instinct.

Jawn couldn't help but think somethign was happening. He sensed some darkness but assumed there was just a hoard of heartless as usual. He passed it off as nothing, he needed some rest. Just as he was about to doze off a tingle went down his spine and his head started screaching like crazy. He recognized this. But where was it from? Oh that's right, that strange town where he met that "nice" heartless. What the heck?! he thought that came from the town. Than suddenly he remembered something...

A fight with some strange species of heartless that he broke in the face, than meeting a dark stranger that had caught him regardless.

Jawn rushed as fast as he could to the spot he could smell the darkness at and stood on a rooftop watching.

"Hmmm. Aren't we being a little cruel to the ametuers?"

Said Jawn sarcastically as he saw the beast that was so very familiar. He was basically talking to the dark being he remembered having a strange feeling that his words would be hear. Jawn couldn't help but laughh though. He knew this guy who was controlling the beast was merciful so he knew the kid wasn't in any real danger, but he found it funny how he lost to just a couple hits when jawn managed to stand his ground against three of them. It was a cruel laughter at the expense of others, but it helped him realize how much he progress over the past. Sitting there he simply just watched, of course if it went too far he would help the guy.
