Everything and Nothing (Open to anyone)

Nobu blinked his darker blue eyes and turned his head this way and that, trying to take it all in. He didn't understand. Why didn't he recognize anything? The market place wasn't busy but Nobu was surrounded by varieties of shops all layed out at the bottom of a slanted bricked street. The faces of the people he did see weren't ones he was familiar with and the area itself was completely new to him.

Then when he tried to think back to how he had gotten there... Well, all he saw was a blur of images that made no sense and that happened too quickly to understand. He couldn't make any sense of it even when he tried to slow the memories down.

His hands went to hold his head as a wave of pain and disorientation flared there. He cringed and bit down but bared it. Once it died back down, Nobu allowed his arms to fall back to his sides and he opened his eyes again, red spiked bangs momentarily obscuring his vision.

Then there was who he was. "Nobu... My name's Yamagawa Nobu," he reassured himself before sighing in relief. A woman passing him gave him a weird look and steered her child away from him as they passed. Nobu shamefully smiled at her but only received a glare back before she hurried along. Okay, so he was acting a bit crazy but if you couldn't remember much of anything you might act a little bizarre also.

Deciding it was better to seek his answers than just standing around waiting, Nobu started over to one of the shops. Feeling embarrassed and a little shy, he asked, "Excuse me, sir, but what's this place called?"

"Twilight Town. So... Are you looking to buy something?"

"Um, no, no thanks," Nobu replied quickly before backing up, nearly tripping in the process, and then quickly walking away. In the process, however, his arm whacked into someone walking near him. "Oh! I'm sorry..."

Caxnon had seen a few wierd things in this Town, ok alot of wierd things. But this was quite diffrent, especially since it caught his attention. He had been walking through the market street with his mind on the mansion, hoping to take a look around again.

He was walking like he had all the time in the world, in fact he didn't mind all the staring. It must have been because of his weapon, but still he couldn't shake the feeling that these people had seen him do a few crazy things.

The Nobody was about to start running, when someone wacked him with his thier arm. Caxnon quickly reacted by quickly grabbing the person's arm.

'' It's quite alright. I'm guessing that you're new here'' Caxnon said to the person.

The person Nobu had accidently bumped into snagged his arm. The red haired teenager's eyes widened in reaction and he worried for a moment. Was he in some sort of trouble? He swallowed hard and hoped that the person meant him no harm. Instead of retaliating as Nobu had expected, the person instead said that it was alright and asked him if he was new to the area.

"Eh?" questioned Nobu, blinking and not quite understanding at first because of his previous assumption. Recovering quickly, however, he made sense of what was being asked of him. "Oh, um... Yeah, I'm new?" Nobu wasn't actually sure of this except for the fact that his surroundings were ones that he completely didn't recognize.

"Ah... Actually... Could you tell me where this place is?" Nobu questioned, deciding to fish for questions since this stranger seemed willing to open a dialogue with him. He smiled at the person in the hope that he would be more willing to tell him the friendlier Nobu acted. "I'm sort of lost and don't really know how I got here..." Nobu used his free hand to absent mindedly rub the back of his head.

Ah, so he wasn't from this place. Intresting, he probaly wasn't from this world either. Caxnon wasn't sure how this person got here, but he was sure that he didn't take the train. And the Aura that he was giving off was strong, where did these people come from?

The Nobody let go of the boy's hand before speaking.

'' This is Twilight Town, a nice place. I suggest we start moving, there too many people here. Come with me.'' Caxnon said, as he started walking.

When Nobu answered he was let go. Taking in a breath, he felt relieved to be released though he wasn't sure that he had ever been in harms way. It seemed, in fact, that this person was fairly friendly and that Nobu had just been overreacting. Then again, it was hard to trust when you couldn't even trust your own mind to tell you how you ended up somewhere. Right now he couldn't concentrate either on his memories since he was focused on this person.

Listening to the stranger explain that Twilight Town was nice, Nobu felt more secure. At least he had found a good spot to lose his memories? It was at least something positive, right? Nobu mentally rolled his eyes. As good as it could get not knowing more than your name. When the stranger told him that they should move while they talked, he nodded his head and started to do just that. He didn't know where they were headed so he just let the stranger steer the way.

"Oh, um, by the way, my name is Nobu Yamagawa. It's nice to meet you, um...?" he paused there, waiting for a response back. It would be nice to officially know someone that seemed like they could help him. "Honestly, I'm glad you came along. I sort of... Don't even know how I ended up in Twlight Town! I can't remember anything..."

[Rex]

'' That happens at times. I'm sure it will come back eventually. My name is Caxnon by the way'' the Nobody said.

It was weird, he had never talked to a person this easily before. It felt..strange, but that wasn't a problem, after all he was a bit bored today. Caxnon stopped walking at a spot behind most of the shops, very close to the Mansion.

He turned around and faced Nobu.

'' What can you remember, aside from your name that is?'' Caxnon asked him.

''That happens at times."

"Really?! I had no idea!" gasped Nobu, clearly amazed that this was true and that he wasn't the only one that had experienced memory lose. So, if it wasn't weird then it would probably come back, right? The stranger who introduced himself as Caxnon even said that he was sure it would come back eventually! Nobu exhaled with relief. It was just that simple! He was so thankful.

Nobu stopped walking as well when Caxnon stopped. He wondered what they were doing there but didn't recognize the area any better than he had in the other part of the Market Place. Well, it would come back to him, right?

When Caxnon asked him the question about what he could remember aside from his name, Nobu bit his lower lip and shut his eyes, trying to recall anything.

"Um... I sort of do," Nobu replied hesitantly. "Maybe... I know last night I was... Walking near a park or something. But I don't even know what the parks name was or anything." Nobu this time seemed frustrated as he opened his eyes.

"Um, so... Caxnon, where are we going?" Nobu questioned, tilting his head slightly and then looking at the suspicious hole in the wall. That right now had him distracted from his thoughts about his memory.

'' Were not going anywhere'' Caxnon said.

The nobody looked around the area, then turned and faced the boy. Maybe he could try and help this person, because he had nothing else to do.

'' We could try and help you remember'' he said

They weren't going anywhere? Nobu eyed the hole and wondered why they were near it then. Was this just Caxnon's favorite spot or something? Well, it certaintly looked creepy. Nobu knew, without a doubt, that he wouldn't have picked that spot to hang out with or without his memory. That was for sure! Somehow he could just picture those woods beyond the hole crawling with creepy creatures... Nobu shivered slightly.

When Caxnon offered to try and help Nobu to remember, the red head immediately grinned excitedly and then said, "Really? You would do that for me? Wow! Thank you Caxnon! So... Do you know how we should start...? I guess in a familiar area? Well, this area doesn't look familiar at all..." Nobu furrowed his eyebrows. "Especially that hole. I'm really glad we aren't going there after all! Haha!"

"So, maybe you could tell me about the town... It might help me remember?" Nobu questioned. The thought never occured to him that this person might not be from the town either. He had no idea about the other worlds yet nor how people traveled between them.

[Charme]

"A town between Light and Darkness, a Sanctuary of sanguine perfection..." A mature voice drifted from the shadows as a man came into focus. He stood with his arms crossed, his back against the wall. Eyes the color of steel seemed to give an intellectual stare beneath his disheveled black hair. He had to be at least twenty... So stern, almost uncaring.

"Twilight Town, as it's known. And if you are seeking answers, a man without existence cannot help you." He seemed to throw a hand through his bangs, moving them slightly to one side. His eyes were closed as he sighed. The damned Nobodies. Walked around as if they controlled this World.

He looked up to this "Nobu" character, his silver gaze sharp, but knowing. "You don't know why you're here or where you came from. While you are slightly afraid of the unknown, you constantly see the good side of things, and attempt to make the best out of every situation... It's an optimistic stereotype. Your name was Nobu?" The man seemed to pause, and he took the silence as a yes.

"I am Ienzo. No last name. It's... Nice to meet you." His voice was low and relaxed, and he looked to the side, his strange eyes half-closed, as if he was deep in thought.

"I have the answers to this town, if you would like them. But be aware, Nobu, that you have stumbled into a new world, and you may not understand the creature that is standing next to you."

[Rex]

'' Speak for yourself'' Caxnon said.

He had to hand to them, they really knew when to make an entrance. It didn't matter what this guy's agenda was. Caxnon didn't trust him at all. Aside from the fact that he was part of an evil Heartless group, which was obvious.

'' I didn't expect to see a member here, you people like staying hidden. I'm not sure If your careful, or just cowards.'' Caxnon said.

He gave Nobu a (THIS GUY IS BAD NEWS) look. Before turning his gaze back on the newcomer.

Before his new aquantince, and the only one that Nobu knew about, could answer his question, an older voice floated from no where. Startled, the red head instinctively raised his arms in a combative position, fists held out in front of him. At the moment he didn't know what else to do besides that.

Somehow a man appeared nearby, leaning against a wall with his arms folded in front of them. His steely eyes stared out at them from beneath messy black hair. Nobu realized that the person wasn't much older than he himself was. Perhaps only a year or two at that though his way of holding himself suggested he had seen more.

Nobu dropped the defensive position as he listened to the man say that someone without existence couldn't help him. His blue eyes flickered to Caxnon and then back to the man before he frowned just slightly. What was this guys point? No one here didn't exist! How could someone be without existing?

When the man spoke to Nobu directly and basically paraphrased all that he had already told Caxnon about himself, the boy freezed. How did he know all of this? He hadn't noticed anyone following either of them earlier! Not only that but he knew his name!

"Yeah... And who the heck are you?" Nobu said with a more stern tone than he had used before. Though he was optimistic, he wasn't naive. This person was giving him the creeps! What did he want anyways?

The person introduced himself as Ienzo and then said that he had answers to Twilight Town if Nobu wanted them. However, he said that he wouldn't understand the "creature" standing next to him.

"Huh? Caxnon? He's not a creature! What are you talking about?" Nobu said quickly, eager to defend the first person that had come to him in his time of need when nothing else had been making sense.

Caxnon told the guy to speak for himself and said something about a "member" and "you people". There were more of these mysterious people that eavesdropped on private conversations?

"I don't understand why you were eavesdropping on our conversation but if you want to help me, you can. But if you're just going to act all criptic and insult Caxnon, then I don't care what you have to say," Nobu said determindedly before staring at Ienzo, waiting for him to say something in reply.

Ienzo just frowned. "I speak to you not as an enemy, Nobody. I myself do not believe in... Racism, maybe? I do not segregate a creature of Nothingness below light or Darkness... But I do know that your kind attacks both Heartless and human alike. I am here to protect the citizens of this place, all of the Light creatures that dwell within this realm."

Indeed, without their Light, there would be no Darkness. Only Nothing would remain.

He walked to their side and looked to Nobu, his steel eyes closed behind black lashes. "I am what's called a Heartless. We, in fact, have hearts, and our name is due to the ignorance of our predecessors." He looked at Nobu with a shrug. "There are two basic types of Heartless: The controlled and the untamed. You have been attacked by Heartless, the Untamed. They seek only to eat Hearts, and have no form of sentient thought.

But I am controlled. I am human in heart and nature. We are the ones who watch over the Worlds, neither a harm nor help."

"But your friend here, Caxnon, is a Nobody." Ienzo sighed. "This name is also a mistake, for all that they have is a body, and no Heart. So, in a way, both of our names should rightfully be interchanged. We have no true body, and he has no heart." The Heartless smiled. "Ironic, isn't it? The Nobodies do not exist to human or Heartless. Without a heart, they are not real. They hold no emotional bounds to this world, and are little more than ghosts, or empty shells of what they were previously."

"But I do know a few good Nobodies, so don't think me racist. It is just a division between us that keeps us from being friends. We are opposites, in every way. Therefore, we cannot be friends, but our powers are too equal to be considered enemies. We are best parallel to each other... Yet our leaders fight wars. Just like humans, isn't it? Because we are similar to you, Nobu."

[Rex]

The Nobody sighed before speaking.

'' Make no mistake, I'm nothing like the Nobodies that you speak of. I have nothing against Heartless either, unless they give me a reason.'' Caxnon said.

He didn;'t trust this being of darkness. He wasn't even sure why he was here, but he did know that Heartless were never a good sign. Why did they always pop up at the wrong time?

'' Now If you have something Important to say just say it. Or are you just here because your bored?'' the Nobody added
