In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Antique walked around the side of the building, and observed it. There was definitely something up with this place. It looked abandoned, like something the homeless would perhaps stay in, but there were a couple of clues that bothered her. Abandoned shacks, for example, shouldn't have puffs of smoke coming out from it.
"Antique dear have you found an opening. If not, I shall surely make one."
"No m'lady...but..."
She put her hands on the building. The mist that surrounded this thing was crazy! It was thick, almost like a fog. She stepped back from it, back to where Jadis was. "I think there is someone inside," she said lightly. She pointed up wards. There was barely any smoke coming out of it, but just enough.
"I suppose if you're living in a shack like this, you'd need a fire inside burning, right? I guess people here think this mist stuff is cold," she said, folded her arms, and sighed. She watched the runes surround the building, her eyes widening in wonder. She couldn't read them, and she had no idea of the purpose, but she had no doubt that they were amazing.
"I can't find an entry....you're making one, right? These..uhm...things. They won't hurt anyone inside, right?"
Her stomach churned at the idea of hurting homeless people.
Merlin paused in his reading. His wards were activating more than the usual heartless proximity. He might have a real problem on his hands...
Sighing, taking off his glasses, and using them as a bookmark, he got up. He closed his book and put it away, stepping off his dais and sending the book to his bag. Grabbing his staff and buckling his sword onto his waist, he strode quickly to the door.
Putting his eye up to the crack, he noted two beings outside. His wards told him that another was examining the right side of his house, but the tall, regal female was something that caught his concern immediately. Her aura was extremely powerful, and shone of the ice powers she was probably quite comfortable with using.
However, while she was very old, (something he could feel through her aura) he noted that the others with her were younglings. Thus, they probably weren't here to attack.
he stopped his musings to hear the Icy lady say: "Antique, dear, have you found an opening? If not, I shall surely make one."
She was looking at Merlin's Runes with curiosity. Merlin still in his house, shook his head. There'll be no breaking in on my watch! ... even though I don't have a watch... but that is besides the point.
Holding a finger up to the door, Merlin spoke in the ancient language, softly, and the runes about the door slowly faded away. Then, slowly unbolting the door and opening it, he stood at his full height.
"Now, be you Human, or be you Beast, you wont be breaking into my house. Not today, not tomorrow, and not even next month."
He smiled. "And just whom might you all be? visiting my small and humble workshop?"
'' Merlin my good man'' Caxnon said as he jumped from the floating rock. He was rathere surprised to see the wizard, even though they had never met. He did some recon, while he was at Radiant Garden. And he had heared rumors about the wizard merlin, and this man fit the profile...in fact, Caxnon had no doubt that it was him.
'' I apologize, I am Caxnon, these are my friends, Jadis and Antique. We were just um...exploring'' the Nobody said to the wizard.

"Hm a neglected workshop is more like it....," Jadis commented, "since there haven't been any activity here."
She wasn't too pleased to see someone attempt to claim a place that was well abandoned that she wished to revive for her own liking. The Empress will just have to pull a few strands of magic here and there herself. She was too tall for the door way as she idly tapped her fingers on the household.
"Now hopefully as a gentlemen you wouldn't leave us out here..."
Antique found herself startled by the sudden appearance of the older man at the door. Quick reflexes meant that Clarent was already pulled from her belt and she was poised and ready to go--it could have been very well because from her angle, there was a weapon on him...and she wasn't exactly expecting someone to come out from the shack.
"And just whom might you all be? visiting my small and humble workshop?"
The man smiled--he didn't seem to be that much of a threat. She stole a glance at Caxnon and Jadis...who really didn't seem to be that threatened. Her shoulders slumped when Caxnon seemed to recognize the man, calling him by a name. Merlin, even.
Antique's cheeks burned pink at the false alarm as she returned the claymore back into it's sheath. And they were introduced by Caxnon. Face still pink, she bowed her head and slipped into a curtsy.
The White one, refered to as Jadis, didnt sit well in the back of his mind, but he ignored it.
He also noted that Caxon was a nobody, which was strange. I wonder, why this one is with humans?
With a twinkle in his eye, he welcomed them all into the small building.
Internally, he grumbled at the one called Jadis. however, he kept up a cheerful exterior and let it slide. However, he did decide to show off a little bit.
"Neglected, Eh? I just don't have company very often!"
With a wave of his hand, the illusions covering the walls were slowly lowered, like liquid, almost dripping down the wall. the drab, old, dusty room suddenly had cheerfully colored walls, bright blue with fluffy clouds. the sparse furniture in the room slowly fluffed out and multiplied, producing several fluffy chairs and an equally fluffy couch. The chair on the stone dais moved to a desk that seemed to grow from the floor, and there was a loud click that resonated throughout the place.
The flames in the fire roared, and the brooms appeared, dusting and sweeping and tending the fire.
Smiling, Merlin indicated the chairs. "Please, Have a seat."
Drawing his own chair over toward the others, he sat down and sighed. "Now... what brings you to this part of town? Looking for treasure? A person? Are you looking to get stronger? I just might be able to answer your questions!" He looked around as he said this, and then suddenly looked back to those in front of him. "Caxon, Antique, Jadis. Would you like a refreshment?"
'' But of course, thank you sir'' Caxnon said to Merlin in a cheerful tone. He didn't even need to act that way, he just decided to, and besides he was bored.
He sat down on one of the chairs and looked around the strange building. It had many strange devices, and almost all of them seemed to move constantly. What an interesting little house.
'' Actually I wouldn't mind learning about Magic a bit more. I happen to have some difficulties with it.'' Caxnon said.

"Actually I came to seek this place out. For the time I was in Traverse Town this area has been highly ignored and what would many call inactive. Also it seemed to be a quiet and reserve place to train my apprentice accordingly. We were about to discover her element as well as Caxnon, since he was so intrigued. She will naturally awaken her magical connection before exploring out to others."
To a gentle blow, the layer of dust moved like a cloud off of a chair before the empress sat on it. Drawing out her sceptor, the tip gleamed allowing a blue icy light to bounce off the walls. "If you don't mind, we will like to find that here. If we were anywhere else, this upcoming practice would be highly disturbed, and disturbances only beckons annoyance. That's only if Antique here is eager to find out now."
Crossing her ankles together, she reached down in her pocket to grab a capsule. Lifting her arm, she poured a silver liquid in five droplets. The drops spinned before expanding in bowls. Each illuminated a different hue with a substance inside. One was an aquatic blue with water inside; another glowed a firey red with a small flame; it's neighbor was green with a simple leaf; the next was grey with a spinning tornade. The last seemed empty and void having no glow at all.
Antique cautiously followed Jadis into the shack, and was immediately bombarded with the strange mist. Was this where it was all coming from? Things moved of their own accord--and she couldn't figure out how everything did it. Even the broom swept the floors themselves? Antique was impressed--but anything along the lines of magic impressed her, mainly because she was unable to do it.
And everything looked so...fluffy! She stole a glance at Merlin, wondering if he had a particular liking for clouds, since everything was fluffy like them. With the elegance of a dancer, she lightly took a seat next to Jadis.
"Uhm...no thank you. On the refreshments," she said light and sweetly. "I appreciate the offer though," she added quietly as she turned her eyes to see what Jadis was doing. She even had a scepter, just like a queen. It really was hard to believe that she wasn't the ruler of this town.
She watched each bowl with fascination, her eyes landing on the bowl with nothing in it. Her eyes furrowed in question. Oh! She remembered! That was the one that represented "spirit", right?
Her hand reached out to touch it before she retracted her hand quickly, lifting her eyes at Jadis to make sure she was doing everything right. She took the second to look at all of the bowls before she coiled back wards. The mist was suddenly so thick that she had to close her eyes to clear her vision.
It was like it was preventing her from taking another step forward. Or move forward.
Eyes still shut tightly, trying to still her brain from spinning, she said, "Sorry! Uhm...just got a little bit dizzy for a moment!"
Merlin's eyes twinkled as he listened to all of them speak, and he watched with interest as Jadis' bowls produced representations of the elements. The crescent moon on his left hand glowed with a soft light, and he held it up to each one of the elements, smiling and nodding at each one, saying to himself: that's probably one of the most interesting manifestations of the elements I've seen in a long time...
"This place has been my workshop ever since the day heartless took Medieval England." Merlin shook his head. "I've created it, piece by piece, over the years, adding enchantments here and there. However, when Hollow Bastion was returned to its rightful place as Radiant Garden, I was asked to move there by the King himself, to help spearhead the Radiant Garden Restoration and Up-keeping Committee. This, my home, was turned into my workshop, enabling me to remain in Radiant Garden. Since the Garden has become relatively stable-" Merlin chuckled and shook his head.
"Well, I missed this place, and created a portal to get from here to there."
Sighing, he looked at both of the younger ones in turn, looking at their auras curiously, not looking for anything in particular, just looking.
"About training... it just so happens that I might be able to help you. There is a room, upstairs, which is a better room. not only is it a room that I can cast Ultima in without destroying, but it will shield those in it from any true harm, an option which can be turned off. However, it is completely sealed from the outside, and I can assure you that there will be no interruptions- unless you need target practice, for in that case I can import a few heartless."
As he was talking, the one with bright hair, Antique, had gotten dizzy. "Would you like some water, Miss Antique?" Merlin waved his hand, and a glass of water appeared, hovering before Antique for a second or so before setting itself down on a table in front of her.
Caxnon looked at the hovering bowls, and then walked over to them, to get a better look. For some reason, he seemed interested in these things, and he still didn't know why. He tried touching each one, except the empty one. He wasn't too sure about that one. He was happy that none of them did anything to him.
He backed away from them before speaking.
'' Interesting. We can go upstairs once um..Jadis is finished here, I think'' Caxnon said
The Nobody then turned to Jadis to ask a question.
'' How are we going to pin-point Antique's element?'' he asked

"Antique would have to point out her element. Well her unconscious would, but I wonder if this sense of dizziness would hinder her. If you like to continue another day we can, but if not all you have to do is reherse all the elements. After a while, you will forget to utter a few as your mind began channeling with your natural element. From then it should stand out quite clearly."
The bowls started to rotate in a circle before stopping bound by an invisible star. "To do it, you'll need to have a clear mind not being swayed by what you think you are or wish to have."
Jadis looked up at Antique patiently. "Perhaps you may need a break. Your dizziness may worsen. Any ideas of its source? Maybe fatique...you had arrived here after all."
Antique watched as the water seemed to appear out of nowhere--and how the mist was very thick around it. She reached out for it, but retracted her hand back wards onto her lap. "No, no...I think I'm fine...Just dizzy is all," she said lightly.
She had always been healthy child, never getting sick at all. Well, she had the occasional cold but she had always been the stubborn kind to plow right through it. She looked up at Jadis, an almost panicked look in her eye.
"No! I mean, m'lady, I want to continue!" Antique said, biting on her lip. She didn't want to not do it simply because she was feeling a little bit dizzy. "I think this mist is making me dizzy," she said lightly, covering her eyes with her hand. "My world never had anything like this. I wonder if it's the air pressure?" she pondered out loud as she tried to clear her vision.
Either they didn't see it or they were completely used to it.
Merlin snapped his fingers and a spiral staircase emerged from the ceding. "whenever you would like, you may head on up."
Listening to Antique speak, the old man's eyebrow raised into the air. "Mist? what mist? I haven't seen any strange mists around here..." Merlin looked around skeptically, sniffing the air.
"maybe it is an enchantment someone in your world placed you under?" Merlin tugged at his beard, thinking. "Maybe your mind's eye is being blocked by someone?"
