In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

((This event takes place after she gets her life back from Hades, also, do I put this in the Plot section? ^^;)
Reports of a strange beast had been flooding the worlds. It had glowing eyes and was as tall as a gazelle. Sage didn't really believe any of this, but thought that she should check it out. All these reports of a strange creature made her suspect that there was a Firefox on this planet. Perhaps this Firefox did not want to be seen and taken away so they hid in the long grass on this world. Coming here by gummi ship was a very bad ride. The only person willing to give her a ride was a rare creature hunter who wouldn't shut his trap about how much he wanted this beast. At the end of the ride she gave him the cold shoulder by walking off.
Now as she stood in the long grass she wondered just how smart of an idea that was. She wasn't really sure of where she was and was having trouble seeing as it was getting darker. Her Firefox form would help her see, but there was that hunter out here, ready to strike and kill anything he saw as unusual. She rubbed her hands over her goose-bump-covered arms and looked around. Her katana was slung over her shoulder, tight against her back so that it wouldn't fall off. Something from the grass stirred and she took out the poisoned blade cautiously, hopefully the Firefox would be nice.

((Apologies for this being so late... I've been away.))
The sun bore down harshly upon the savannah - the grasses waving slowly in the breeze. The trees - low, twisted things - had started to thin in number, spread out far, giving way to occasional bare patches of parched ground and tall, dry savannah grass.
However, there was just one thing that had slowly seemed amiss. The sounds of other creatures (birds, mostly), which had been a distant raucous chatter the entire time she'd been on this world, had slowly grown silent. The vast plains almost seemed deserted, with any living being a vague outline far on the horizon.
It was as though the entire savannah had paused where she was, waiting...
The grasses' motion seemed to not quite follow that wind as obediently as it had been. It was slightly behind her, not that far away, and the rustle was gone as soon as it had come.

The long grass was pushed aside by the arm of Sage. She sucked in a breath and looked at her arm. Sawgrass, figures. A bead of blood was running down her arm from a cut from the sawgrass. Stubbornly she stabbed her katana into the earth and rubbed at the cut with her index finger. Unfortunately her blood was not the best at clotting quickly and the blood continued coming from the small cut. She snapped her head up quickly at the rustle of the tall grass. It was not her, it was not the wind, it had to be something else. But what?
The noise was gone as soon at it had come and Sage wondered if it was just a gust of wind. She went back to rubbing away at the blood as it was still coming. Finally she stopped working to stop the blood, there were more important things to be worrying about. She picked her katana out of the earth, feeling it slide out easily of the moist soil. There was probably a curious little animal in the grass, but it would be gone soon. She would simply scare it away by making noise.
She hissed out quickly and spun in a circle, watching as the irritable sawgrass fell away with splotches of poison on them. If anything was here, it would either be scared away, or it would still be here. Then it would be a problem, as the hiss of a snake and the smell of poison should scare away any animal that felt unsafe. If any animal wasn't scared away, then Sage would probably have to make a break for it.
