In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The old mansion stood there like it had for so many years, strong, determined and old…
The courtyard held several columns of which where crumbling messes, the grass around it long, in need of a cut. Trees outlined the edges of it and flowers bloomed under these trees. This is where it happened, the ripple.
Under a tree the shadow began to ripple slowly, and then two figures emerged from the shadow, up they came, the shadowy whips slowly detaching themselves from the sitting couple. “ You might feel a bit distraught after the first time… it gets better eventually” he spoke to the boy that had come with him, Samael.
They where sat under a tree in the courtyard, Twilight Town, where they would hopefully meet Seth and Darkun would get the seal of approval to be friends. “ This is it, the old manor, twilight town.”
He slowly dislodged his hands from Samaels, the gripping was probably hurting him by now, letting his hands drop to his sides before glancing up at the twilight covered sky, it was always so peaceful here. “ Like memory lane… The place that my memories where lost is the place where I will hopefully make new ones” he said as he nodded happily at Samael.

“You might feel a bit distraught after the first time… it gets better eventually."
His mouth opened desperately for new oxygen as his muscles relaxed from their tension leaning on Darkun. Violet butterflies rippled into view before landing on the flower sprouting violets. The released a thick scent with a mist of relaxing narcotics. Samael inhaled enough of it as his anxiety lessened before exhaling heavily. "A bit...I find that an understatement."
Once his hands were free, his fingers twitched as he leaned back up placing a hand on the tree trunk. His eyes were still closed drinking in the breeze, coolness of the shade, and the sounds of the rustling leaves. After a moment he sat up on his own looking towards the manor he mentioned.
“ Like memory lane… The place that my memories where lost is the place where I will hopefully make new ones.”
Turning his head back, he saw the happy nod returning a small smile with his own nod. "...I wonder who lived there...it's seems kinda...abandoned and...out of place. Just to say, it is smack dab out of nowhere."

He looked at Samael before glancing back to the manor. “ It is strange isn’t it, all the buildings in twilight time are all so… similar and yet through a crack in the wall, through a forest sits this mansion on its own… there must be something about it, and for some reason the people never seem to come here.”
Darkun glanced around slowly before he got to his feet, inhaling the scent of the flowers that made his limbs loosen slightly. “ What is that… smell…” he spoke slowly as his arms became jelly-like. “ Its so… pleasing” he felt it hard to keep his legs straight, he could just about manage a walk, running was no longer an option.
He walked a few steps towards the manor, now leaning against a pillar of crumbling stone. “ Take your time, the thing your feeling should go away in a minute or two, you get used to it eventually and you can start breathing whilst you do it.”
He tapped his fingers against the rock pillar as he waited for his newfound friend to regain himself, and he waited for the feeling in his arms to come back, he thought that maybe using his fingers would get the blood running.
“ I haven’t been home for a while Im sure everything’s the same.
He chuckled at the next lyrics.
Mum and dad still in denial, My only job to take the blame
That’s when he called over to Samael. “ Do mutants have parents?” it was quite a person question so he added in his own response to the question first. “ I can’t remember if I have any or not… so I don’t know what there like…”

Amber eyes looked down at the bright violets and noticed their effect on Darkun. With a sheepish grin, he whipped his hand over them sending their petals flying some where else among Twilight Town. "Sorry about that, my violets tend to act on their own."
Seeing him get up, Samael was about to do the same until he heard, "Take your time, the thing your feeling should go away in a minute or two, you get used to it eventually and you can start breathing whilst you do it."
Nodding, the mutant decided not to push himself just yet. He laid down on the cool grass feeling the nausea roll away quickly, while listening to the soft singing. Hearing the song fade and a question proposed, Samael turned his head.
"Of-course they do. We are born from our parents, who we inherited our mutations from. I don't remember my parents either. Let my first family tell it, they were in the breeding company, and they (the humans) bought me. So truthfully, I didn't really had a solid definition or feel of a parent. I had masters, mistresses, misses, and doctors...that's pretty much it."
Samael held back his saddened facial expression. "I don't if I want to meet my parents...I doubt it would be comforting to see your parents as rutting breeding animals. They probably don't know anything about me, since they probably made many children. Then again, they may not even know each other..."

Darkun listened to the story; it was obvious that this was upsetting Samael so he changed the subject quickly. “ I dunno what it is about this mansion, but it scares me” he spoke slowly, before he did something he hadn’t done in a long time, he took off his hat, gripping it, pulling it off and the blue azure hair that had only been visible at the back as spikes fell down his back, stopping at about a quarter way down his spine. Shaking his head the azure blue hair fluttered through the sun and the markings on his face shone with them, they all matched, markings, hair, eyes.
Then, he slowly stopped leaning and looked at Samael. “ How did you meet this Seth then?” and then he followed it up with another question “ Earlier… I got the impression that you still had a master…”
Darkun grabbed the back of his hair rolling it up slowly and replacing the hat, it was nice to of gotten the breeze through it, first time he’d done it in a long time. The hat fitted back on perfectly and the bottom bits of his hair returned to their natural spiky self.
He grabbed at his wrist, itching it as he wondered about the mansion, wondered about what happened, then remembering his friends words he forgot, why would he want to know the past when he now had a future. A victim to himself indeed.

Samael tried to go back down Memory Lane trying to remember the first time he met Seth. It was difficult to remember when he ran into Seth in Twilight Town. "Seth and I were in the same facilities, the Institute. There we were scientificly experimented, so we didn't really had masters. They licked to be called doctors and professors, but that still didn't stop punishment for incooperation."
"We never talked in the Institute; they tend to keep mutants seperated in their own domain; I had my own garden. I actually talked to him in Twilight Town. Curiosity led me to a transporter, well a rough draft of one. Crawling inside, I was dumped here. Seth must have seen me and followed after me."
Samael slowly got on his feet with a stretch. "He should be around here somewhere. Since he's an element, he may be able to...feel me nearby. I wonder if he'll come here to this mansion. Hey...let's go inside. It will give another spark in the day."
Darkun glanced up at the mansion in question, “He can feel you? Does his power stretch that far, that’s amazing” Darkun spoke appreciatively. Someone that could /become/ an element, someone that could manipulate flowers, and someone that controlled shadows. What a strange group they would make.
He walked slowly towards the manor, “I’ve been in here before, but there’s no harm checking again.” With that he pushed at the door as the large door opened, allowing him and his friend access into the foyer. “I woke up just at the top of those stairs” that’s when he pointed at the top of the stairs, the corridors led two ways up there. “The rooms here seem to be like any normal house unless you go to /that/ room” Darkun pointed up the stairs and to the right where another door, looking just as normal as the other lay.
Darkun walked to the centre of the room before he remembered something, “Oh yeah, watch out, nobodies like to come here it see—“That was as far as he got before two dusks formed up between Darkun and Samael.
Darkun winced at the sight of them, those beings that shouldn’t exist, he hated them, he hated them with a passion, they must be what caused him to get amnesia he was sure of it.

"Yeah, elements tend to feel one another, since all the elements are closely related to each other." Samael nodded with a grin, while following Darkun towards the manor. There was broken pillars here and there as if there was a mutant fight hosted by the Arena.
The door opened with a loud squeak; it was obvious that no one had truly tended to this house to the upmost ability. His eyes traced his description including the door to various rooms and the place where he awakened. How odd that he would be sleeping in a place like this and not remember a single thing afterwards. That would be a terrifying thought, to wake up in a foreign place, while lacking memory. Samael already had his own experience being in a foreign place literally out of the blue; it was horrific and filled with anxiety.
"Nobodies..." Samael repeated before his unspoken question was answered. They were pale white like cadavers, yet there body was abstract from human. Green butterflies emitted from the mutants' frame seperating him from the nobodies.

Darkun flipped his hands to his side, with that the two tri-blades flickered to his hands in a flash. “ You take one, Ill take the other,” he said to Samael as Darkun jumped in the air before falling into his own shadow, disappearing.
His shadow widened on the roof, he fell out of it in a dive like attack slashing directly down at the nobody sending it towards the floor. The nobody crashed against the floor and as Darkun landed it wrapped one of its strangely flexible arms around his foot. Tripping him over.
“That’s it” Darkun said, anger could be heard in his voice, a few seeps of darkness leaked from his body… No, must keep control. I wont let it take over again he repelled the rage from himself, the imaginary hatred and that alter ego he called Dawa.
Flicking his hand out he bided the nobodies shadow upwards, it sprang up in a spike, spiting straight through the nobody, the spike stretched at the top and then disintegrated into ash, the remnants of the nobody with it. He just hoped Samael was doing ok with his battle.

His mouth opened, but no words left his lips as he watched the dusk from the corner of his eyes. The green butterflies flew rapidly at the dusk that crept to close for comfort. The butterfly combusted into endless constrictors. The vines wrapped around the dusk tightly before slowly devouring the dusk.
Samael's nose wrinkled at the burning smell as the vines' poison started to eat away at the child of nothingness until it was indeed nothing. Once the dusk was gone the vines crawled back towards the God's poison before dispercing in small green energy orbs that the mutant absorb.
"I always hated that smell."
Samael never been in a physical fight; actually he believed he wasn't built for it with his lanky thin frame. His body was equipped to take pain that he coped with in the Institute. Generally his element was his protection warding off anyone before they can get into a striking range.

Darkun placed two hands behind him, using them to push himself up he walked over to Samael. “ We make a good team” he smiled lightly at the gods poison. That’s when the smell hit him, he sniffed it lightly at first before turning around to see where the smell had originated from, where the nobody that Samael had killed had been a few moments ago. “ What is that smell… It smells so… strange” it wasn’t a bad smell, but it was a good one, it’s the kind that would have you stopping in your tracks down the street to find out what and where it came from.
“I’m not really much of a fighter myself, Its mainly Dawa that does all the fighting. I try to refrain from it where possible.” It was true, however Darkun had just let one piece of information lose, he had just mentioned Dawa.
“ Yeah, I was wondering about that smell” darkun quickly changed the subject. “ What was it? Is that another one of your powers?” Darkun had been to distracted by his own fight to notice what had actually happened, he saw butterflys, then he smelled this and the nobody was gone. Whatever had happened, it seemed that Samael was truly a gods poison, he was powerful.
“Im glad you was here” he smiled, what Samael didn’t know was that if Samael wasn’t here then chances where that he would of nevered been able to resist Dawa’s temptation. It was only due to him not wanting to lose his new found friend that he managed to keep a grasp on his humanity.

"The smell? Remember when I told you I was made to be a weapon. At the Institute, I've been experimented on for yeards. One of the outcomes is weaponized poison ivy; their poison richened being acidic as it can eat away at the body."
A green butterfly landed on Samael's shoulder, "The butterflies are like beacon of energy that summons particular plant life. The green is for ivy."
The insect wiggled before a pair of vines burst from it trailing down Samael's arm. The poison would only release on instincts. The plants are an extension of Samael, a clear difference between magic and a genetic connection. Magic would have to be command, but being an elements makes it a part of one's being, an extension of their mind and emotions.
"Luckily, I'm immune to it. With a connection like this, I was never meant to be a physical fighter, especially when they mutated all of my other plants."
“I'm glad you was here”
The mutant chuckled with a smile. "Hopefully less would come after that session. So where did you wake up at?"

“I hope there isn’t anymore, I hate them. It’s like fighting nothing… They’re void of everything right? Emotion, hearts…”
Darkun stared onwards slightly before being brought back to reality by the next question. “ Oh yeah, just a the top of those stairs, but I think I actually was somewhere else, its just a feeling but it feels like I was deeper into the mansion than that.” He looked at the room where the staircase lead down into a strange computerised basement.
“There’s something about this place I don’t like. It… scares me” he instantly regretted saying the words; he didn’t want to seem like a coward to his friend, he instantly began to laugh, trying to brake what he said away.
Changing the subject Darkun said. “ Where would your friend find us?”
Post by Ellie who has 0% on Nov 10, 2009 16:14:02 GMT -4
"I don't know much about them. Actually that would be the first encounter," Samael muttered lowly. What else that wondered around here he wasn't aware of? That was the secondary purpose of his and Seth's union, to protect one another from the unknown and being used...again.
"Hm? He may follow his gut towards here, but since you feel uncomfortable we might as well leave. Also I doubt he would react to the nobodies well; he have multiple personalities, who knows which one may flip on."
Post by darkunslint on Nov 10, 2009 18:43:49 GMT -4
Darkun was shocked it was his first encounter with a nobody. “ Well, there bad news, simple as, just do like you would with a heartless.” He smiled lightly as he said the words of killing the nobodies and heartless.
“We don’t have to leave if you don’t want to” he said, reluctant to lose his new friend over something so simple as this. He did feel uncomfortable here but maybe if they went outside they could see his friend, and then the three of them could be friends together, no longer used, no longer a toy.
The words hit Darkun like a brick “Split… personalities?” he stopped walking for a second before continuing onward. “Can he control it?” he asked more as an intrigued question rather than out of interest.
