In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Sorry about not getting this up last night like I had said -- though, I kind of fell asleep at the computer. I know Mutoman can attest to that since I was RPing with him over MSN and didn't reply to him for like... an hour and a half XD
The small waves broke upon the beaches that surrounded Play Island as the silver-haired teen stood there. He had come to resting his thumb in his pocket as he looked upon the treehouse and zipline. The place was still the same as he remembered; perhaps a few new additions here and there, but still the same Play Island that he remembered. The same Play Island that he, Sora and Kairi had taken to coming to just about all the time when they were younger.
Taking a few paces forwards, Riku cast his cyan gaze over to smaller island that he and the others pitched in to building a bridge to be getting to. It was the place that he used to train himself with the play sword-fighting that he, Sora and Tidus would engage in at times. It was the place that the Paopu tree was situated upon, as well the place that the trio would hang out at when the sun was setting.
It all seemed so long ago.
Walking over to the bridge, Riku tread across it and then stopped at the Paopu tree. He had looked it over for a moment and then withdrew his hand from his pocket. He placed the palm of his hand against the leaning trunk of the tree and ran his hand along it, taking in the grooves and crevices of the bark that covered it.
"Hm..." Riku let out, closing his eyes. A breeze rolled past as he stood there, the winds only slightly teasing his silver locks. For a moment, Riku felt like he had before any one of them were chosen to be the Key Bearers. Young and full of innocence -- merely living their lives out on the Destiny Islands.
((IhavenoexusefortheisIamsorry. My entire any-sort-of-writing muse abandoned me. It's not really back yet, but I'm tired of waiting on its whim.))
Kairi recognized Riku's boat when she pulled hers up to the dock - they'd all had the same little rowboats for so many years, they could tell them apart at a glance. His was the only one here -- well, she knew were he was most likely to be. She'd find him and see what he was doing.
--- Sure enough, there was Riku, silver in the sunlight, beside the paupu tree. She crossed the bridge and came up beside him, quietly, but never so quiet he would know she was there.
He looked so peaceful she couldn't help but smile.
It's fine. As you can tell, I'm not exactly all that punctual these days, myself. >:;
The subtle sound of steps as a person crossed the bridge to being on the same little outcropping 'island' that he was upon, Riku opened his eyes and turned his head to look to see who was now there. A small smile made it's way upon his lips as he looked to the familiar redhead that had decided to show up on the island as well. However, being the person that he was, Riku merely stayed silent and rose a hand up as a greeting.
All of Riku's smug and snide remarks seemed to have subsided over the years that the three of them -- he, Sora and Kairi -- had been chosen to be keybearers. Then again... there were a lot of events that had happened in between that had caused the once rowdy teen to mature over the course of time.
