In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

||Was totally going to put Jungle Boogie...but I doubt Elaeus is a FUNKEH enough||
A black coal nose twitched at the paw print that engraved the soil. With a heavy exhale, dust curled away with the breeze as the animal observed for freshness. It probably been hours since the lion passed this area. A canine head rose looking up from its crouching position that allowed the tall sandy brown grass to mask the animal within the savanna taking a form of an abnormal African Wild Dog. Being a natural shape-shifter with the addition of being a heartless, Elaeus' form was bigger than a natural born Wild Dog, but he still had the patches of colored fur as the blacks and browns blended him in. Moving forward, he followed the path of the wind, while walking lowly allowing the blades to blow over his shoulders and back.
Gaia traveled amongst the Prideland as well. This was a new surrounding to them, and like Earth, they were beginning to adapt, but not enough to fully evolve. The basic Gaia that wore a brown gemstone on their heads were coated with the Savanna's grass completely blending in. If they were to step out when command, they would look like a bulk of walking grass and dirt. The grass would look like fur as they cover their exoskeleton frame.
Elaeus growled lowly with an order. With a low churn of the earth, the Gaia sank into the Savanna floor walking underneath a grass on showing a rolling hump. If anyone was to spot them, the would only see a pair of yellow eyes watching them intently like the predators they were. They laid about on guard as their master laid patiently in the grass.

When Drago finds something, she uses it to her advantage. This would apply for items and certain objects such as time. Time was something she had spare of. She was intent on strengthening her weaknesses. 'I haven't been to the Pridelands in a while. I could use this time to practice hunting and other ways of movement,' Drago thought as she stepped paw once again on Pridelands soil.
Drago took a step towards a puddle of water close to where she landed in the Gummi Ship earlier. Taking a survey of her appearance, she blinked at the unfamiliar image she saw staring back at her. 'That's right. I become a hyena upon entering this world. I forgot,' she thought to herself as she examined her face. A gray-brown muzzle extended from her face, coated with shaggy brown-gray fur. She possesed a pair of brown-gold eyes stared back at her from the makeshift mirror.
She took a trot towards the savannah. A scent of an African Wild Dog hit her nose. Her sixth sense could detect heavy darkness as well. The scent was a good sixty meters away, and Drago kept her distance, hoping not to be noticed.
A condor flew overhead the grassy plains of the Pride Lands, lettings its cry pierce the silence of the early morning sun rise. Many animals on the prowl quickly raised their heads to see the white and green condor flying overhead and slowly went back to whatever it was they were doing before hand. It wasn’t strange to see abnormal or even out right obscene animals grazing around. The Heartless invasion seemed to have caused a sense of the “norm” about this place; the animals paid no heed to the Heartless creeping up on them. Most of the predators showed the ability to defend themselves and others from getting their hearts stolen. The Heartless didn’t care about that, since no other being other than Sora (if he chose to visit) held no Keyblade, if they were to be killed….they would simply come back after some time and extract their vengeance then. But the Heartless seemed even more excited and on edge than now. For that larger than normal sized condor flying around was none other than the deranged psycho Seed. But he would call himself a mature activist now, his time with Elaeus and being absorbed by the Darkness have made him sit down with his thoughts and calm himself. He has, in a way, seen the light. He no longer sees the need to kill everyone he meets; no longer does he need to kill to get a buzz out of life. He DOES, however, still have that fixation to mess with people he finds especially annoying and have no need for the upcoming fights.
”Damn it feels good to be able to fly again, now I know why Elaeus doesn’t like when the XII go into the Dark to get a boost and be reborn. It hinges plans and the joy of being alive again makes them too reeled with excitement to be objective. Hmm, why couldn’t I see that before I wonder?” Seed questioned how long he was actually gone from the worlds, had it been only a couple days? Months? Years? He guessed it made no difference; an absence was still inexcusable from the XII. Seed knew this and in the back of his mind he feared returning to his previous actionable post of Elaeus’ underling. So he let out another loud shriek out of his beak and flew over a watering hole after sensing some Heartless nearby, familiar ones. He gracefully landed next to the edge of the water and starred at the reflection that eyed him back. Seed could hardly believe his appearance had changed this much, his attitude had taken an opposite turn too. He was growing more mature, more worthy of his place among the XII. Soon he would be able to prove his full worth to his friend…..friend. Funny, Seed considered no one his friend ever since his birth as a Heartless; he still had no idea of his past life. But Elaeus was different, something about Elaeus made Seed feel closer to him than any other person or Heartless. Perhaps it was the fact Elaeus drug him out of his life and submerged him into his destiny; Seed held him in high regard would give his life for him. Even at the hands of a Keyblade.
Seed lapped the water with his short tongue and perked his head to the side as he finally recognized the Heartless scent. It was a Gaia, the Heartless under the direct control of Elaeus. So it seems he was to receive his punishment sooner than expected. With an unheard sigh from the beak of Seed, the mature psycho took flight to seek out his master. It wasn’t long actually; Elaeus wasn’t far, only a mile or so away. Seed let a shriek escape and he began his decent and landed in front of Elaeus and made a sudden explanation,
”Man Elaeus, you look like you’ve gotten old. Not letting the stress of finding me get the best of you? My fault I guess, with the Darkness taking me back and not wanting to let me go until now. So what have I missed? Maverick still being all down in the dumps about seeing the true path he needed to be on? Is Roze still as annoying as ever? And what about Relenea? She still the arrogant bitch she knows she is?

A single large triangular ear twitched and turned following the sounds around him. It was as if his senses held a mind of its own. Personally, Elaeus' sensory was higher than others for his deep connection with earth. If he concentrated hard enough he would be able to hear footsteps from a far like a form of echolocation. The world was his ears and eyes as it detected a disruption through the floor when something heavier than from above landed on the ground. Feeling feet move from it, he assumed that mortals were becoming more informed about their universe and landed on the Pride Lands.
Who was it exactly the Heartless had no idea and didn't made it a business to find out. He found it refreshing that the animal was wise enough to not approach further in his general direction. Elaeus was only brutal when needed to be, so politeness may not be the top of his priorities because it isn't a necessity. One of his priorities had vanished out of nowhere and awakened his coal nose with a sudden appearance. Brows dipped with a wrinkle as he heard distant flapping.
Before he could look up to seek out the source of the bird-like cry that followed, he was found first. Right on cue, he started running at the mouth. Perhaps Seed knew of how possibly irritated he would be from returning after dissappearing without a word.
"If I can't keep up with you, why would you think I can keep up with anyone else?" The African Wild Dog growled lowly. Yellow eyes peered up from the ground once hearing the bellowing low vibrations from their master. They sank lower in the ground acknowledging the command.
Mounds of grass waved with the wind as the Gaia traveled underground as four traveled to where the earth led them to, the distrubing feet that walked not to far from them. Once finding a hyena, they all stopped, while still remainding underground beneath the sanctuary of the savanna grassland as their yellow eyes narrowed watching every move.
"Maverick is being a roaming vagabond, but he haven't dabbled in trouble since I don't feel distraught waving from him. It won't be hard to track him, since I'm a part of him now...in a sense. I can't say the same for Relena, who can't keep up with her assignments. I wonder how many would marvel the idea of cutting some strings." Shaking his fur, it fluffed slightly. "I'm starting to think that twelve is too big of a number, but numbers is what we need. I would expect such behavior from a subordinate, but the upcoming incompetence in the original rank shameful."
The African Wild Dog snorted, "And thanks to your absense, you missed it when I had to destroy a building...I'm sure you would've liked that trip."

((You guys post uberly long o-O. Me must strive to be just as good))
Drago could sense two dark scents with her brown charcoal hyena nose. Along with it she detected the feathery scent of a condor. Drago crouched underneath the tall grass, evenly spacing out her weight between all four paws. The hyena craned her ears to listen in to the conversation the two beings were having. 'Damn! It's so hard to listen in!' Drago cursed inwardly. Insects that were crawling in between the grass blades were making chirps that inhibited Drago's eavesdropping ability.
The hyena took the daring approach of inching closer to the conversation. Suprisingly, not a sound arose from her paws. The hyena craned a round ear towards the two dark beings. She caught something about a guy named Maverick, but was unable to fully catch any other info. These two beings, one was named Elaeus, the other didn't reveal his identity. Elaeus, as it seems, recently destroyed a building... and enjoyed it, probably.
Drago's mind raced with questions. Who is Maverick? Who am I listening to? If I get caught, what will I do? How will I escape?
Seed smiled as much as he could with only a beak, it seemed like Elaeus was not as mad as he thought he would be. This put a wave of relief flooding into the brain of the condor. Knowing he was not to be destroyed or let go from the XII is going to make this Heartless at a very good degree of ease. He plucked at his feathers as an itch arose and his hearing went to a rustle in the grass but Seed took no heed of it. Probably just a curious cub wondering how such strange animals know each other, after all, who sees an African Wild Dog and a Condor conversing over the darkness in people’s hearts? But what Elaeus did not answer concerned this green haired man. Why hadn’t he mentioned Roze? Was there some downfall that befell this pacifist? A certain irreversible doom that placated the rose scented man? Or was it simply that Seed need only look at the obvious answer. Perhaps Roze left, perhaps Elaeus killed him. But it would amuse Seed to no end if Roze met his end at the man he put his entire trust and being into.
Another wave of thoughts flooded into Seed as Elaeus spoke of the XII. Last he heard of everyone they were off doing the missions assigned to them, Dilan and he were supposed to be off gathering a Silver Rock. But with the darkness taking him in and maturing him at the same time, maybe Master….oh Shiva, Seed found himself calling Ansem “Master”. He really had found a new aspect of life and knew who was in charge. But maybe Master Ansem will see mercy and allow him to stay since Seed no longer was the wild child he was when he left. So Seed continued to talk with Elaeus to see if his conversation could bring the animal that was in hiding out.
”Aww man. The Darkness picked a hell of a time to drag me back. Which building did you destroy? One in Radiant Garden? Twilight Town? Better not be there unless you hade a damn good reason too. I have stuff even you don’t know about tucked away under the stone. Upset one of them….and my fear of Space and Time colliding might just happen hehehehe. But hey.” Seed hopped till he was in whisper distance, ”What say you about my new mission, I mean I know you cant give details in front of another animal so nearby but with Dilan already gathering the Silver Rock I assume. You must need me for something right?” Seed hopped a step back and said louder as he turned to face where the wind seemed to passing over something that just won’t leave. The beauty of Seed being a wind master was he was able to see if the wind is passing over something. Someone was listening and waiting, ”How bout I show Maverick the ropes? Or find this Marluxia you talk about so much? Oh, and did we at least take over that place yet where that girl needed to hack that certain computer?”
Seed would be so angry if he missed the chance to take over Radiant Garden and kill those goody too shoes in battle. But if Era was STILL trying her best to hack into the computer Seed might just have to visit and see what was going on. He did now wonder if the clone he sent of himself to Radiant Garden was still extracting info from its library. With a shriek of his voice and a sharp look back to Elaeus, Seed gestured over to the place of the wind displacement as if asking to kill it.

"...There's no need to excite the oblivious, they'll get so excited...they may die from it..." Elaeus replied not liking Seed's running of the mouth and leakage, but no matter, when he was motivated it would take more than brute strength to hold him back."Nor would I indulge you in such tale, if you were around, you would've been there yourself."
The African Wild Dog's ears flattened when Seed rose his voice. Would it even be impeccibly wise to empty out so many names and biddings of a group that has been underground for so long that was slowly ressurfacing. He snorted in irritation, which the Gaia underground heard.
"The latter are known of your concern leave that nothingness to those who know of the collaboration." Elaeus would merely have to remind Ienzo of his charge that he needed to keep a leash on before they have the meeting with Xehanort. "Maverick you can keep an eye on. Who knows what he could be getting himself into. Also I'd found out that he may be tracked by that Luna Psychotic."
Looking up at Seed's signals, his nose twitched to the right...still not concerned. The hyena was too absorbed to not noticed she was already surrounded by a quartet of Gaia. They hid underneath the grass skillfully with only their eyes peering from underneath the soil. Once was close enough that if it moved, it nose may touch close with hers.
"There is one thing you can do...if you like you can take the heart of a nosey rat"

(Please excuse uber shortness)
Drago dropped down lower, hoping that the two dark beings would not notice her. Although, by the sounds of their conversation, it was obvious they had detected her. If any, she could play dumb and pretend to be a natural-born denizen of the Pridelands. 'They won't fall for it,' Drago thought bitterly.
Drago flexed the ten sharp claws on her forepaws, in case she would need them. Only now did she notice that Dragon Fang was still attached on her waist by a leather belt. She would use that, too. The hyena would grip it in her teeth, and slash with her claws, too.
'Take my heart, huh? Not a chance. I wonder if they'll notice the stregthened darkness in my heart. Although, I'll have to be careful if they try to use it against me. I wonder how that new power will affect me... I have to balance my attacks with light a lot more often... Drago thought. If the battle were to come, she'd be ready.
Seed perched his head to side slightly when Elaeus said that Maverick was being hunted by some sort of Luna Psycho. Perhaps he means Saix that Nobody that Elaeus and Maverick mentioned during Mavericks tainting. Perhaps not. But he did like the idea of watching and tracking this man. Seed chuckled on the inside as he was given the order, just the thing he wanted to do his first week of being back.
”No problem, just try and stay still. Wouldn’t want you to activate my attack without the perfect time arriving. And as for our guest…” if Seed’s human face could be seen, an evil smile would be beaming on it.
Seed let out another shriek and flew into the air as a wrinkle in the Space Continuum warped the field and hid Elaeus and would hide the various grenades that Seed was now dropping out of his own compressed space beneath his wings. Elaeus would be able to see them but not Drago. A perfect plan to some and an ingenious one to Seed and him alone probably. The Condor began to fly circles around the hyena and stopped suddenly in front of it several feet in the air and began to violently beat his wings. A large, chilly breeze started to form and ice shards began to take place and pelted the hyena to no end.

( Guys please go easy on me, this is my first battle with Drago)
'Shit!' Drago thought. She'd been discovered. Shards of ice pierced Drago's brown-gray pelt, causing her to wince in pain. The shards were icy and sharp, and it took Drago a while before she could fully concentrate a Reflega spell to create a shield around herself.
Drago looked, up and found the attacker. It was a green condor flying high above Drago's location. 'That must be Seed!' Drago thought, flexing her claws, and grabbing Dragon Fang in her mouth. She dashed to her left, and attempted to find the other one, Elaeus. She could only catch a faint inkling of his energy. Seed must have done something to hide him.
'Who knows what other surprises they've left for me...' the hyena growled inwardly. Drago faced Seed, and crouched down. She focused darkness into her paws, and made a swipe. The force from the swipe sent three dark waves at Seed. Two of the waves ventured to the left and right, and one stayed aimed at Seed.

Seed smirked as much as a condor can with a beak and hardly noticed the three slash marks of darkness being sent his way. He dealt with the first one by drifting the wind around it to the left and sent it on a crash course with the other one and the two dark slashes vanished in a puff of darkness. All that’s left is the one on his right. Now, Seed could just simply fly around it and then attack the hyena directly and end this with a simple wind and fire combo and blow it to the other side of the world, but there is no fun in that now is there? So, with a grin on the inside, Seed did barrel rolls in the air in the same spot while swirling the air around him and the dark slash was caught in the turmoil of the air fiasco.
”You know what’s funny about this move I’m using?,” Seed began to say to the Hyena as the dark slash was being contorted around Seeds bird body, ”Last time I used it was against Lexaeus, perhaps HE could do it better next time” Seed ended with a maniacal laugh as he whipped the air around the dark slash and it was catapulted to Drago. In return, Seed used the remaining air to make an Aeroga sphere and sent it at the Hyena to match the force of the Dark Slash attack, if Drago were to dodge, the Aeroga sphere would catch up and ensnare her inside. Trapping her to the whim of the XII.
(Thought I could sum up my attack in a very short post.)

Hearing the rushing winds, the four Gaian hiding underground moved back before surfacing once out of the harsh perimeter of the wind. Dirt and rocks packed the inside of its exoskeleton tightly as the savanna grass sprouted from their body like a long fur down the center of its spine resembling a hyena's mohawk.
They growled lowly as they successfully surrounded their prey with little detection. Dust snorted from their nose as a brown stone gleamed from their forehead. Hearing the commotion, an African Wild Dog rose from the tall grass before walking slowly to the center of attention.

Drago drew back her lips in a fearsome snarl, baring her fangs. She focused light energy in a small but compact burst of power that cancelled out the dark energy that Seed had used against her. The hyena's eyes drifted to the Aeroga sphere, which was closing in on her fast. She charged a pulse of darkness into her paw, and as the sphere closed in on her, she flung dark energy from her paw against the sphere. The dense area of the darkness slowed the wind attack.
Drago gripped her sword in her mouth, letting loose another fearsome snarl at Seed. She proceeded to charge some light power into the blades of grass at her paws, and cut them off with Dragon Fang. With the breeze left over from Seed's Aeroga attack, Drago directed the grass via the light power in them as they were lifted by the breeze. Focusing more light into the grass moved it faster, and gave it sharp cutting ability. She aimed the grass-blades towards Seed.
She turned her head towards Elaeus, who had revealed himself. He was an African Wild Dog, and the defiance in Drago's eyes far outshone the fact that she was worried of the outcome. She bared her teeth at him, and growled, "Why should I give you my name?" The hyena's voice was muffled due to the sword she carried.

"Is this hyena actually using my OWN wind to attack me," Seed thought to himself as he flew sharply to the left and the right in circles around the grass blades making a small tornado of air around the blades. The light snuffed out as the blades were being bombarded against the intense column of air. With the grass now being just that, grass, Seed stopped his flight and saw that Elaeus had come out of hiding to confront the beast.
"Now why would he do that? Well now I can't DO anything..." Seed pondered as the grass fell in front of him, one still had a smudge of light in it and singed Seed as it fell past his tail feather. He let out a soft shriek and flew over to Elaeus' side unraveling the illusion as he did. The grenades were lain out on the area in no particular pattern. Seed gave a gesture of his wing as he landed right next to Elaeus and all the grenades were sucked into a Spacial vacuum that opened up next to each one.
"Because," Seed started as he stared down Drago, "I think we three all know that you heard a little too much and maybe we want to..."help" as it may be called."
