In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Elaeus was starting to grow tired of this entire event, because none of his opponents lasted. Was someone pulling some strings backstage or was fate telling him that they weren't worthy opponents? He snorted at the idea, since none of them had even begun to actually make him work or put an ounce of effort. Perhaps this Jason would make a change, or would simply all of these matches fly by until he was the last person standing.
He pondered wondering, who will be his next opponent. He wasn't planning on failing; he was ordered not to from Braig.

[Sorry for the delay. Internet has been out for the past week or so. Anyway, here's a post. It's not one of my best, but thats because my Muse is returning from being gone for so long.]
A sigh would come from Jason shortly before arriving in the arena. First he had to fight against Lexaeus from Organization XIII. Upon defeating him, Jason was then pitted against his heartless counterpart, Elaeus. Didn't Jason feel lucky? Well... not really... Lightning doesn't exactly assist him as much in regards to fighting against the earth, but he had to do his best here. Sure Elaeus and Lexaeus had different ways in which they used their earth, but the problem here was that Jason hadn't seen as much of the way Elaeus had fought as compared to Lexaeus, so this was sure to be a interesting fight.
Jason appeared in the arena, his staff in his hand and his crystal ball atop the staff. "Hmm... It must be something of an honor to first fight the nobody, Lexaeus, and then to fight the heartless of that same nobody, Elaeus. Won't this be an interesting fight?" He said, getting as annoyed as a nobody can with the current way this particular tournament was going. He would get out of here if the going got tough, but for now, he would wait it out and see just how far he could go.

(<< >> I promise nothing XD. u.u I'll play nice to my insignificant other *shot*)
"Hmph," Elaeus snorted, "just don't assume that I'll be like my other." With a soft whistle, darkness coated over his knuckles revealing his tiger claws. Darkness slithered around each blade as Elaeus awaited for the go a head. While he wait for the single word, he felt weight on his frame as the darkness thickened into matter.
Should I even make this worthwhile? He haven't done much his last round and he wonder if this would be the same left down.
"Clear"
We shall see about that.
"Shall we," Elaeus began a trot before increasing to a sprint. The tiger claws hung by his side for their won't increase wind resistance, but he only began raising them when he was close in striking range. A foot was all he need to make contact. His left arm swung to the right with a slash followed by a punch with the right acting as a stab.

[GAH! I really need to stop forgetting where I need to post. Sorry for taking so long, Elaeus! Especially since now I'm the one holding up the tournament]
And so it began... Elaeus had created strange claws using the powers of darkness. He knew this was going to be a difficult fight, even if he was different from Lexaeus. Elaeus seemed to, while strong, be more about tactful approaches and making sure his attacks would connect rather then just throwing strength around. Both completely different and both with their own sets of advantages and disadvantages. Jason tried to be tactful as well, but was definately more of a ranged fighter as compared to a close combat type fighter. This was going to be difficult, but Jason wouldn't back down.
His long staff, just shorter then the length of his body actually, still rested in his hands as he watched Elaeus sprint toward Jason, getting closer and closer with each step, giving the least amount of wind resistance possible. Though, of course, with his running toward Jason, this made using direct attacks a bit easier as it would require Elaeus to alter his course, and in the same process, make him just that much farther away from Jason.
That plan of action being thought, Jason felt like following his usual first move, something he had done on both Xavier and on Lexaeus. His hand quickly flicked down the length of his staff as he quietly said "The light from within, surround my opponent". It was at this point that Elaeus was just a split second away from where he would raise his claws (as stated in his post). Light would burst from Jason and move in front of him, going toward Elaeus. Not only would this serve as an attack, but it would also provide a slight amount of resistance to the attack, should Elaeus continue through with it.
On top of that, the light also provided a means in which to escape, as the bright light would surely prevent Elaeus from seeing Jason, and possibly blinding him from the massive eruption a short distance in front of him, or at least blurring his vision for a second. Regardless, Jason would swiftly retreat back, directly into a portal of darkness, only to appear to Elaeus' right and slightly behind so he couldn't see Jason right out of the corner of his eye, though near the wall rather then right next to Elaeus, giving quite the distance between them.
Jason had to keep his distance and observe Elaeus' actions. Even if Elaeus didn't continue with his attack, Jason would still be able to retreat to an unknown location, or unknown to Elaeus that was. This was the observation phase of the fight, allowing both Jason and Elaeus to observe one another and see exactly what it is the other can do. It was a phase that Jason thouroughly followed, though the same could not always be said about his opponent. Jason wondered what path Elaeus would follow in this fight.

3...2...1, the countdown commenced as the distance shortened the black sash that was always tied around his eyes ruffled with his speed. His eyes narrowed at the points he wanted to attack and strike at, but the pinpoints vanished beneath a sheet of white. Beneath the sash, his eyes closed and feet continued to charge to complete his attack.
With a low growl, diamonds rippled from his frontal rocky frame to collect the light emitted in front of him in full blown force. If his body was composited of darkness, he would've been injured harshly. The cut diamonds reflected the light in multiple directions before evolving. Elaeus' mind reverted back in time when he was jotting down equations for his particular evolution. His hand was swiftly writing when diamond is exposed to a strong element of light and successfully contain it, it should take the element exposed to it transforming into a new breed. The same concept followed his Gaia as they evolved as well. The diamonds became opalites as they sank into the Heartless as the light died down; he didn't really feel like sharing discovery with an opponent.
From the vibrations of the earth, he knew Jason was no longer in front of him; it was a logical oppurtune moment to retreat from an evade, but Elaeus was captivated by his oppurtune moment as well to notice or calculate whether he hit the target. Being intuned with the earth, he can feel steps occur behind him. Crossing his right leg over the left, he turned on his toes facing Jason. He remained on his toes as he stalked in an off patterned gait.
Like a cat, he stalked towards the right then the left, while still heading towards Jason. His eyes blinked to clear the white spots the gleamed around his eyes. With a snort, he closed them to rely on senses for the time being. With an inhale, he took in the smell of a Nobody. "A child of nothingness relying on the darkness, how amusing."
It seemed like he was fighting against an observing runner, but Elaeus wonder if he should even give him a chance to flee in and out. No, he would sate the other for the interesting fight he had suspected it would be. The Earth Titan would hunt him continuosly even within the Dark Realm; the other can't be on the run forever. To engage the chase once again, the Heartless charged at him with low wind resistance yet again ready to strike when up close.
Study had shown that nothingness was rejected by light, but devoured by darkness. Let's see how long the nothing will run with darkness at his heels.

It didn't take long for Elaeus to turn exactly in the direction that Jason was at. That being the case, Jason wondered if there was some other sense that showed him where it was. Commonly, people who were affiliated with the element of earth could tend to feel certain vibrations. Perhaps this would be the case with this particular heartless? Regardless of what it was, Jason knew that he would be incapable of hiding. He also knew that his light would not reach the eyes of the heartless due to the cloth in front of his eyes.
That much being observed, Jason watched as he charged toward him once more, most like to try and complete what he had started earlier, but not before saying something regarding his status as a nobody. Jason shrugged it off, not caring as to the words of some heartless. A being whose only true instinct is to go after the ones with the strongest hearts. Which of course, was certainly Ironic that he now faced one with no heart at all.
Jason may be a nothing, but his powers of light were stronger then most would believe. A quick flick of his mind changed the chants on his staff as he said. "The light from within, protect me from my enemy!" With those words said, Jason slammed his staff on the ground and a sphere of light would surround him from that of attacks. Usually this was a wonderful move. The advantage? It was a hard shield to break, even more so for attacks of darkness. The disadvantage? Jason was incapable of moving whilst in this shield. He couldn't perform any other attacks or move around. Granted, he could still speak, but this state of immobility does not help as much. The observations would begin once again.

While running his eyes narrowed hearing Jason's voice ring for another use and dependency on the element of light. Elaeus would've used this light against him now that he had Opalite, a gem that would permit him to manipulate the element inside, light. But it wouldn't be fun to use a new toy so soon in the game. He would rather save that for someone else, even fellow Heartless if he must. Hearing the word protect, the Heartless wasn't surprised to see the light rise as dome-like shield. Still he continued running, and his tiger claws drifted away from his fingers letting them go. They stilled hovered behind the Earth Titan as it was coated with easily manipulated darkness.
Jumping up, he dived down targetting a punch. His fist thickened before transforming in to rock. When he landed the force of the blow impacted the ground right before the shield, his target. In response, spikes emitted from the ground even from up under Jason as he tested the liability of this shield. Most shield he had seen and encountered hardly protected from below. The last person who used a shield against him was a fellow artifical being, who considered himself a nobody.
He was more of a Frankenstein than anything. He too had used a shield, and Elaeus had used the ground as an advantage before using the dark portals as transmitting systems to send attacks inside to end up trapped in the shield attacking who trapped himself inside. Watching one would feel Elaeus' hidden eyes on Jason.
Flexing his fisted fingers, the rock broke away reveal his natural hand before leaping backwards with an agility of a hound.

[Yeah, I know... I'm late... Or just in time? *shrugs* Elaeus, sorry if I am keeping you. If this happens one more time, I'll pull myself from this match.]
While yes, it was truly an impressive feat, there was one thing that was missed... It was not a dome of light that surrounded him and protected him from attacks, but a sphere [Yes, I do word it as a sphere in my last post, not a dome]. As such, the sphere was completely surrounding him, including from the bottom. Now, that being the case, it would be able to prevent Elaeus' spikes from reaching him. Though it was going to be slightly difficult for Jason to completely block it. His shield, while powerful, wasn't indestructable. As such, he found his shield starting to weaken near the end. It held against this attack, but would not hold against another of such strength, or even one that is of a slightly weaker strength.
The shield had served its purpose for now, so Jason would quickly stand, his staff spinning once more as Jason prepared an attack. Lightning was unpredictable with earth. If it is powerful enough, it could break right through. Though if not strong enough, it could just disappate. Earth was also unpredictable in that it could come in several different forms, and Jason wasn't entirely sure of Elaeus' capability in controlling Earth. Jason figured he could try something. It was a strong lightning blast that would launch directly from the front using the particles of charged energy in the air, though it could also use up Jason's strength to go.
Jason ran his hand down his staff saying "The power of lightning, take down my opponent." With that said, Jason released a large blast of lightning energy toward Elaeus. It would gather the little charged particles that were in its way, growing to about 1 foot in diameter. It was almost like a lightning spear. Though that wasn't all. Jason's crystal ball, resting on top of his staff, glowed slightly, releasing a Thundaga blast upon Elaeus as well. Anything that landed in front of Elaeus would be picked up by the blast. This would increase the effect of the lightning spear, and provide an unpredictable, yet continuous flow of lightning to surround him. A quick thought was launched from Jason as the staff switched to defensive chants, ready to defend from attacks. In the meantime, his crystal ball lit up once more, casting Aerora onto Jason as a slight defense. This was certainly going to be interesting, to say the least.

(You seem on time to me, and I just used the word dome to not be repetitive in words.)
The Heartless chuckled as the shield came down. Swaying his head, his bangs moved from his shielded eyes. His fingers flexed around the handles of his tiger claws ready to charge at the other to slice into strip until he heard it. His brow dipped his face as he made his matter alter feeling the rush of lightening strike around and at his body engulfed in its shocking light.
This was the fight he had wanted, and it was surely coming in handy. The Heartless groaned wondering why he would use Lightening of all things. Perhaps it flew past him that it wouldn't have much effect. He has been used to Relena ever since he had been around her. It made him pondered how rough around the edges Larxene was, since she used the Thunder Magic in its pure essence than Relena.
As the light dimmed down and the lightening ceased, the Heartless thought back on a formular. How was pure glass made again, a lightening stike on sand or rock? The Heartless was composed in a thick statue of green crystalline glass. Darkness began seeping from it before it cracked and shatter into pieces. The sharp pieces formed a mouth and head of a legendary snake, a basilisk.
A mass of darkness began molding next to it as Elaeus formed back to his humanoid frame, while dropping more glass fragments from his hand. It seems yet again already, he had another composition of Earth to stretch his barrier to. "Well well...this may get interesting."
The Heartless ordered with a shriek like a velociraptor directing the serpetine glass towards the spherrical air barrier. The snake lost its form slithering around the barrier like a snake before funneling into it's own turnado keeping Jason within it's eye. Bending down, his fingers sanked into the earth before thrusting his arms into a thrust summoning more spikes to ripple from the ground charging towards the Nobody.
