In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

She hadn't expected being transported and she remembered the very first time it happened. It made him feel nauseous. But this was along the fourth time she has gone through one of those things it started getting enjoyable. With a nod at the comment she looked around. They were on a rooftop that looked quite a ways from where they were. With a small laugh she looked at Caxnon.
"It's usually polite to consult someone before putting them through one of those stupid portals. So where are we anyway?"
She asked as she looked around. She didn't quite recognize this part. But never been on the rooftops either but either way she was still curious as to why the sudden change but she wouldn't bring up that curiosity
'' No where, just a spot I like'' Caxnon said. He always did like this place. He wasn't sure why, but it gave him a feeling of peace. He looked around a bit more, then decided to talk to the girl. One glance at her and he could have sworn that he say something move around the area.
'' So tell me whats your story?'' Caxnon asked. He was never one for the direct apparoch, but sometimes it worked
Yuri turned to Caxnon thinking about the question. That question seemed strange but somewhat made sense at the time. She stared at the sky thinking about whether or not she wanted to answer or not. There could be no harm in it.
"I lived a life of a culprit my whole life. In the meantime I was being trained. A series of events led me on the run. I stumbled into a portal and that's when I met you and the redhead. Not much to my life"
She said as she was calculating exactly why he wanted to know. Maybe that could be the reason that he was so willing to comfort her even after he discovered her identity. He was trying to get closer to her so she'd reveal secrets. But than again that's exactly what she was doing, just for a different reason.
"And what about you? What highlights of your life are worth sharing?"
She felt no reason to act so ignorant or innocent anymore. It was no use at the moment. he had already discovered the identity so that reasoning was lost. So obviously asking was said in such a sarcastic tone that she would seem rather bitchy.
Caxnon took some time to think about what Yuri said to him. It was strange, he was never used to talking about his past. He thought about all the events of his life that led him up to this point, and none of it was really that interesting.
'' I studied in a school for a while, and they taught me how to use my weapon. I left to look for someone, and I did find him. Wasn't able to pay him back for what he did though. I've avoided many attempts on my life, and honsetly, I'm surprised I've survived this long.'' Caxnon said.
He thought for a second before speaking again.
'' Then I met you..and everything started to make sense'' he added.
'' I guess so'' Caxnon said. Yuri was right, he wasn't much of anything. He tried saving people, but that nearly killed him, he tried avoiding people, same results. What was really his purpose? What was he meant for? The other nobodies he knew were dead so why was he still here?
Suddenly something unexpected happened. A small heartless appeared right behind Yuri. It didn't waste any time in trying to take Yuri's heart.
Caxnon was much faster than it of course. He quickly grabbed it's little body.
'' Don't try it'' he said as he threw it across the street.
Yuri was smiling throughout the whole time. From the words to the heartless attack. She could've handled it if it came down to it but she wanted to see if he was still into the whole saving people act. When the little heartless was thrown in the street Yuri clapped a little bit.
"That's where me and you differ. If that situation were in reverse. I would have let it get you. It comes to no use to anyone saving another..."
Yuri was going on with the major fallacy that was put to the point where it could make sense.
"But you try and you try and you continue to fail as stated. You say that survival is tough for you. And look at me. I continuously look out for only me and things just happen to work out in my favor. Maybe instead of looking at yourself as a person who fails at being a savior. Maybe you should look at yourself as someone who's not meant to be a savior."
Caxnon simply looked at Yuri like she had gone mad. What was that supposed to mean? He already saved several people. So why wasn't he meant to help others? If he could do it, then shouldn't he? This wasn't making much sense.
'' I don't understand. I've helped many people before, even though i have failed at times. If I' m not meant to help them, then what am I supposed to do? I've helped most of this town itself.'' Caxnon said trying to stress his point.
Apparently he could only think in black and white. Caxnon seemed to have no grasp on skewed concepts. Thinking about how to put it so he'd understand she was wondering whether she should be rude, he gets defensive and in turn proves her point for an example, or to be nice and create a very slow explanation. After finally deciding she realized it wasn't normally a Kousei move. Usually he'd get them defensive to the point where they just prove him correct, but she didn't feel like being a bitch right now.
"In all honesty. You have no effect. Like you said you help dearly. But in the end what does it do? It does absolutely nothing. What goes around comes around, unless your throwing it around for someone else to catch..."
This metaphor was actually pretty strange but it worked rather well for the point she was making.
"Basically all I'm saying is that you're not meant to be a hero because your more of a pushover. When a pushover is a hero than he's used for more and more trivial things until they become just someone doing odd jobs. I discovered this pretty quick in life. Thus why I manage to strive. Maybe your just not meant to be the total righteous. Maybe by doing things for yourself, you'll end up doing them for others. But when doing it that why they think you really don't care, whether you do or not, so they don't take advantage of you and show appreciation for helping them anyway."
Looking as the heartless faded away into the darkness she realized how strange she sounded. And how the point could be lost in the jumble of words, so she decided to clear it up with a final question.
"You seem to know the meaning of the word fate. It's your choice to believe whether being a hero is yours or not."
Caxnon listened to Yuri's explanation. And unfortunately she was right, about everything. He was better off while he was chasing Leon. Maybe he along the way he lost himself. And perhaps it was fate that he met Yuri. After all, she was responsible for many encounters. He knew what made him stronger, Sephiroth told him...and since he stopped using his dark powers, he's grown a lot weaker.
'' You know, your right...I haven't been that useful the past year. In fact, since I've started this saving thing..it's been downhill from there.'' Caxnon said.
He made eye contact with Yuri before speaking again.
'' As for fate. well I haven't been having much luck with it. But I do believe that it wan't a coincidence that we met'' he said.
Yuri listened intently looking up towards him as he spoke. It was perfect. He was willing to dig into selfishness. And who better to join in on that path than the great genius Kousei. Caxnon was easier than she thought he'd be.
"Well. Using my methods is tough. You have to be smart. Clever. Know how the mind works. The point is to avoid fighting as much as possible and gain trust through doing distrustful acts. It requires high levels of intelligence. Sorry to say but I really don't think your capable of it."
Yuri was working her way into making her seem like the ideal ally.
"I mean. You have potential and strength to back up talk and being selfish. But just being a big bully doesn't get people to do things for ya. Ya see. Maybe your not even cut out to be a bad guy... or girl... like me."
Caxnon couldn't help but smile a bit. She was saying things that he already knew. So she believed that he wasn't cut out to be the selfish kind of person? That was not what he was expecting. She was right though, maybe he couldn't do it. At least no yet.
'' I have other ways'' Caxnon said. He decided to mess with her a bit more, he thought it was rather funny.
'' You haven't moved for a quite some time. I wonder why?'' Caxnon said as he tapped her shoulder.
Yuri liked the answer. But didn't like the ridicule. As he tapped her shoulder she noticed that his arm was still around her. It was kind of embarrassing but she didn't really want to move. But of course she wouldn't admit that.
"I frankly don't care where I am at in relative to others. To a reasonable limit. You're the one who's not taking your arm off me. So if your wondering why it simply proves my point of your lacking intelligence"
She said rather bitchy like. It was crude but she didn't want to admit that she stayed there because she liked it. After being in a depression for a while and being all alone it felt kind of nice having someone be so close and comforting. Felt even safer. It was strange and thinking about it made her blush a little bit. The girl was starting to gain more and more control of Kousei and the inner Kousei was disliking it.
The nobody simply shook his head. There was one thing that Yuri did that he disliked, she always underestimated her opponents. This was a bad thing for her, but alos an opening for the gunblader. After all, he was still bored.
'' Is that so? In that cause I'm sure you won't mind then'' Caxnon said. He simply held her much closer than last time. He still had an advantage, a good one in fact.
'' so tell me is that I'm lacking intelligence'' he paused and completely turned her around so thy were eye to eye. He then completely rapped his arms around her waist.
'' Or is it that you don't mind?'' Caxnon said. He knew that physically stronger than her, so he would like to see her talk in her new position.
Yuri felt a sudden pull and let out a small eek like the one in the coffee shop because it was kind of unexpected. Than when he wrapped his arms around her she kind of blushed a little bit. Of course the secure feeling that made her feel so good was now a little bit too much. This was kind of strange. But she had to go with it. She had to gain his trust a little bit more. She needed to make herself important in his life because the orders that were going to be given would require high amounts of trust for him to actually do her bidding.
"I don't see how this proves intelligence. And no. I don't mind..."
She said with a blunt tone but a bit of a nervous chokes in her speech. These girl emotions made it hard to keep level headed. And she was sure her face was extremely red. Wrapping her arms around Caxnon in return she started calling his bluff.
"But are you okay getting so close to me when you know what I really am?"
She said with a smirk as she started playing along. If he was going to mess with her she was going to mess with him.
