In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Yuri listened closely to what he said. It was a bit confusing. Could that mean he just wants to comfort her so she wouldn't be insecure on the field? Or does it mean that there is of course going to be a relationship due to their partnership? Does it mean that there was absolutely nothing between them and everything was just official and he was humoring her? Or was he really just trying to teach her a lesson and he didn't care either way? Than Yuri felt something wrap around her and realized that he was hugging back. Well cross out the bottom one, if it was just a lesson he wouldn't have done that. It was seemingly needless. In fact not doing it would help her work on another emotion.
Looking up at him straight in the eyes she was trying to figure out exactly what he was thinking. But there was another urge caused by this. Kousei still had trouble letting go of his own control and letting the girl take over. No way. I'm not doing it again completely voluntarily. Every other time there was a condition but now it's my choice and I'm not going to do it... he thought to himself. It was kind of a tense moment in the mind of Yuri right now. Kousei was having trouble having the willpower to allow it now. But after a few seconds it was allowed and slowly she moved closer to Caxnon's face. Lips almost touching as she moved in slower. Just in case he decided to dodge it she went slow. If Caxnon didn't want this than he should avoid it. Because Kousei didn't want it either. So far Yuri seemed to be the only one who did. This body along with it's emotions. And Caxnon's rule of not resisting the emotions. It would seem pretty obvious if he resisted.
Caxnon wasn't expecting Yuri to start leaning in, it took him by surprise. Now the real challenge was how to confuse her some more. By now it was possible Kousei probaly thought that he had a thing for her. Or maybe he thought something else, but all Caxnon was doing was trying to get some info out of her. Even If it meant that he had to do this thing again.
Though even he was unaware of it, part of the reason for this was because he actually wanted to help Yuri out.
The nobody didn't stop Yuri at all, and when there lips touched again, he simply held her closer. Now the question was, If she would pass this test.
After a couple seconds Yuri slowly pulled away. She was red faced once more. Not only because he kissed back, but also because Kousei allowed, let alone started it, and didn't do anything about it. And that was embarrassing. With a bit of a smile she stood there, holding each other in the others arms. Looking at him with a smile she realized what was going on. She was actually accepting this, it was sickening. Removing her arms from their grips around Caxnon she also pulled his arms off and stepped back a bit.
"There. See. No fighting it, I accepted it. We done now?"
She asked a little annoyed. As annoyed and careless as she'd like to look her face was still red and she still had a strange smile that just wouldn't go away.
Caxnon was quite relived when she pulled away. He suddenly wished that this whole day hadn't happened. If only he left for twilight town like he planned, he would have avoided this whole thing. But now wasn't the time to worry about that, there were other things at hand.
The nobody finally noticed Yuri's face and the weird smile that she was wearing. Sure she accepted it, but she still wasn't in any shape to go anywhere.
He shook his head at the girl, then walked up to her and placed both his arms on her shoulders.
He then gripped her tightly so she wouldn't move. Then he completely pressed his lips on hers.
He had to make her understand the emotions, even if he had to go a bit..extreme.
Yuri tried to pull away but he had too much of a grip on her shoulders and she couldn't. When he kissed her she almost let it slide but if she was going to have feelings for him it was going to be on her time and her choice. Instead of kissing back like she normally would she moved her feet away and hooked his pulling him to the ground and away from her lips.
"Another rule. Never. EVER. do that. If we ever kiss it's going to be mutual. If you ever do that again I will not hesitate to burn you to a crisp. Do we have a clear understanding?"
She said as she kneeled down to speak to the fallen Caxnon. When she finished she patted him on the shoulder and gave a false smile of understanding as she got up and turned her back.
"I will learn on my own time. Now. You control the transportation so I guess you pick the first destination huh?"
She said as she was ready to go. She needed to do something else. She almost wanted to hold the kiss even longer. Time to get her mood back into business and away from this emotional crap.
Caxnon couldn't help but to start laughing. Sure it was inappropriate, but he was glad that he was finally able to make him understand what was going on. He stood up and looked at the girl in front of him. He was quite pleased with what she did.
'' There you see, now that wasn't sure hard was it? You completely l earned how to take control of yourself. You accepted the emotions, and now you control them. I think you did quite well'' Caxnon said as he rubbed his shoulder
'' Now any last questions before we proceed to the final test?' he said.
Yuri laughed a bit. How could this go wanna do any more 'tests' They had some work to do anyway. They really didn't have time. She spent too much time in depression of being a girl to waste any more time 'testing' with this guy.
"No. Let's go on. get this over with as soon as we can."
Yuri said a little bit annoyed that he completely ignored her hinting to the fact that they should go. But he was pretty narrow minded and wouldn't stop with it until she played along. And once she managed to get this over with she would likely try to avoid times like these ever again. Next time she'd skip to the mind tricks to reel someone in. This little quarrel was the worst day of her life.
Alright since she was back..mentally. It was time they finished this little day that was starting to annoy both of them. He looked around the area to make sure it was empty. It was late, and everybody was probably asleep. So it was the perfect time to draw the little buggers out.
Caxnon looked at Yuri then bowed before speaking. '' Please forgive me for this'' he said.
All he had to do was stand in front of the second district. Without hesitation he picked the girl up in his arms and transported them in front of the second district.
He set the girl down then looked at her directly in the eyes.
'' Yuri I just wanted to tell you that your one of the most prettiest girl's I ever saw. And I um..I really like you a lot'' Caxnon said.
He hoped that this would work, he didn't want to have to say that for nothing.
Yuri let him transport them assuming they would finally get something productive done. When they appeared in the second district she was curious why the didn't just walk. When she was about to ask he started speaking. Trying to flatter her. And it was failing. Epically. For more than one reason. The fact that he recently didn't really care too much. The fact that he just asked if she was ready for the final test. And that they had to go somewhere else for him to tell her this. With a laugh Kousei had complete control and his thinking was controlling at the moment. Yuri was taking a little break this time.
"Wow. You see what I mean? You're not cut out for tricking people. You can't even make a girl blush when half of her emotions are revolved around you. You should not get into the business."
She said with a laugh. It was obvious he was trying to get an emotional reaction from her. He would never say something like that unless he wanted one. But why would he want one? What was he planning on doing?
"So. You wanna tell me why you want this stupid curse to take over?"
Caxnon completely Ignored Kousei. He had to find a way to bring Yuri out of this guy. He didn't want to use this memory, he wanted to save it until later. But he had no choice this time, these people were together. If he was going to make this work, he had to appeal to both of them.
'' Listen to me...your right. I'm not cut out for this, I can't trick people into doing things..but maybe thats because thats not in me, but I know what is....nothing.''' Caxnon paused to take a breath.
He had to do this right, he had to consider every possibility. All he did was in trust this to his memories.
'' I don't know much about you, but I do know that your not as strong as you can be. You think you can manipulate people, but your the one who's really being manipulated. I've seen what you really are, and I know now how little you knowledge you have. You've failed yourself. I can already seen it in you, you've killed...your eyes can't hide what you've done.'' Caxnon paused then continued
'' Everything you do won't matter. Because your not in control. You say your closer to than the darkness than anyone, but you have no Idea how wrong you are. You haven't seem the true form of the darkness. You creep around here consumed by your own ego, but for what and to what end? Look where you are now, your body is gone...and your forced to rely on others to achieve your goal....thats just sad.'' Caxnon smiled a bit.
'' Whatever you think you've accomplished means nothing. Most people picked it up within minutes, but you failed to see anything. Everyone could see what i am except you, why? Because your blind. That blindness put you in this body, that blindness made you lose yourself. And that blindness Is why you can't see me, or the mistakes that you've made. You've stolen, killed and even ruined people's lives...and only to be stuck in this body.....it's...just sad. I feel sorry for you...you can come back with any remark you like, but that will just prove me right. You need others, even If it is briefly. Without them they would be no you'' Caxnon said.
The nobody finally turned his attention to the body he was seeing. '' It's even hard for you to accept your emotions, there by punishing yourself.'' Caxnon paused and took hold of one of the girl's hands.
'' Please tell me, why...why do you do this? Why do you do this to yourself...when you can be so much more?'' Caxnon said.
Caxnon was being a little self prestigious this time around. He thinks he knows Kousei but he doesn't. He think Kousei plans on staying a loner, which he doesn't. He thinks Kousei is being punished, which he's not, he thinks that Kousei is being weak, when he's being stronger than everyone else. He claims Kousei is weak when he's the one taking the biggest blow and showing the least budging. He thinks Kousei is being punished when he's using these to his advantage. These emotions are what pulled Caxnon into trusting him.
"Caxnon. Do you really think I don't know? The difference between me and them. They fear you because of it. Or they try and help you. You seem perfectly fine to me so why should I bother bringing it up? I sensed it since I met you on the tower. And as for my closeness to the darkness, I don't claim to be the closest. I claim to be one of the very few who embrace it and have no contact with it whatsoever. And if you think I'm weak than you're wrong. If you think I'm lonely than you're wrong. Just because I never get into fights doesn't mean I'm weak. It simply means I'm stronger than you."
Kousei was going on and on about all this. He was going to correct him. For once he cared about telling someone something.
"And as for my ego and my failure. All that I've done so far is just a warm up. To be honest. My true potential hasn't even come close to being revealed. You think I'm the one being manipulated. But keep in mind who stood their ground with their own ways and who didn't today. Keep in mind who joined who..."
Slowly he started getting to the end of his own argument. It was rather fun. This guy had Kousei's plans all wrong. This guy had everything all wrong.
"As for this body. I find it more of a blessing than a punishment. To be in all honesty it helps me gain the trust of those I need trust from. It allows me to play on both sides. And it's not that I don't accept my own emotions. None of these are my emotions. They are the curse. I accept this curse, thus I accept the emotions."
'' Thats were your wrong. Your not stronger than me, and you never have been'' Caxnon said. He wasn't done talking yet, this guy seemed to be completely consumed by his ego, which he found to be a problem.
'' You still have a lot to learn. You say you have not shown your true potential, then show me. Show me exactly what it is that makes you strong. Have you learn't nothing from what I taught you? Are you really that lost?'' Caxnon said.
'' No one said you were lonely, of course your not. No one said you were weak, your just not as strong as you could be. Those emotions may not be yours, but they are part of you. And no, you have not accepted them...where is your reasoning child?'' Caxnon added.
This was getting annoying. He honestly didn't understand what she was saying. Maybe if he could grasp it well enough with some logic he would understand. But Caxnon doesn't seem to get it.
"My strength lies within my choices and my words. I can't show you my true potential because the predicament does not call for it. I really have no reason to try and gain more. Why should I bother getting more powerful? That's a fool journey. The search for power never ends because there's always more power to be gained. And what will it be used for? I take pride in embracing the darkness without consumption by it. Searching for power would simply consume me. That is were my strength lies."
She was getting done with this. This was getting annoying about everything he was saying. He was saying how he could be so much more than he is. Maybe he didn't want to be more. Being more makes you more. Makes you more makes you think of yourself more. He didn't want to become to centered. But as for emotions. Kousei was a little confused about that too.
"These emotions may be bound to me but they are not mine. And I refuse to accept following the terms of emotions that I had no choice in having. I will not restrain them but I will do what is in my power to keep my own self in tact. Obviously enough you have failed to keep yourself in tact. So there's no reason I should consider your standing on any point of the subject in that manner."
'' Bravo my young friend, bravo. Looks like you have me all figured out...well go for you'' Caxnon said. Caxnon had done enough analyzing, he had seen enough Of this guy's personality. This guy thought he had him figured out, but why so suddenly? He may have an intellect, but he was clearly missing the bigger picture.
The nobody decided that he had enough fun for one day, it was time he dropped his joke.
'' I'm very much in tact my friend. Tell me this, you seem so sure of yourself, to the point where the ideals of others do not matter to you. I understand that. Tell me what is your goal? Someone like you must want something.'' Caxnon said with practically no expression.
Kousei liked hearing this. His plan was so well thought out. And it all lead to his main goal. His goal was actually a good one. But of course she wouldn't tell him since he was one that she tricked. Otherwise thinking though, a goal revealing may not be too bad. He's already willing to allow for selfishness. Maybe he'd want in on it too? Gives him more motivation, gives her a more motivated teammate.
"Well it's actually quite simple. My goal is to become a hero. My goal is to be respected and not worry of any problems. But of course like stated before I'm not cut out to be a hero. So instead I take out all the other heroes, heartless take over, I send all the heroes in to take the heartless away. I than use my connections with redhead and his colleagues to eliminate those heroes that helped me. I led the heroes, I survived the extermination of heroes, I'm the sole survivor, thus I get the heroic praise."
Kousei said with a smirk. This plan was far from fool proof. There were many holes in it but those Kousei usually turns around for her advantage. In example this curse. Quite a problem. But instead used to fish in Caxnon.
"You see, that's why I was so fixated on breaking everyone's mind and making them doubt their ways. Of course you were easy. You already doubted yours. But the others I still have yet to get to. The girl is soon to come into my grasps. Each and every one will eventually be my colleague and help me on my journey. Now you understand what I mean that with a little intelligence, selfishness can get you a long way."
Said Yuri as she tapped the top of her head. Than she realized she just exposed her whole trick to this guy. He may disagree with doing that, but he may also agree.
"You on the other hand. Well technically you are one of redhead's colleagues and they will not be eliminated. Thus, you can share the glory with me."
