In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Elaeus hummed softly hearing her question before nodding; he had the spare time to formulate the entire meeting and the present, so sparing more for training and to get her acquainted with it wouldn't be bothersome. "But not here, as the main island, we would most likely be disturbed here. and you'll need room with such a long range weapon."
He opened a portal leading to the play islands. At least there, the possibility of disturbances is lessened, and mainly children harbor there, but handling mere children shouldn't be an issue for high ranking Heartless. If push comes to shove, they can always leave for a more peaceful secluded world that doesn't attract attention of others.

She stopped the meteor hammer in mid-air and snatched it. First things first, she had to quickly enhance the weapon. Let Even tweak it Elaeus had suggested, was he an idiot? Even would probably screw the weapon up. Silently she sent the meteor hammer on the ground and knelt. Bits and pieces of the barrel were sitting around the spot she was kneeling at. She grabbed a rusty nail sitting next to her and cast Thunder on one of the chain links of the weapon. It began to soften up and she cast another Thunder on top of it. The silver melted away and she began to shift it before it hardened again.
She formed the two centimeter long hole into one thin strand of silver. With the extra silver she shifted it into a sphere and pocketed it to practice with later. She took the rusty nail and shifted it quickly; after all it was a weak metal. She them coated the thin piece of silver with the metal from the nail. Now the chain had its shape back, but not the color. It looked like perfect silver except for one spot where it looked like a dark gray. Surely when fighting someone would notice that dark gray piece on the meteor hammer and aim for it, thus breaking the chain. This was not what Relena wanted and she took out the silver sphere again.
She shifted into several different things, a needle, a screw, and other little items. Then she stopped, finally having a feel for shifting a small amount of silver and placed it to the odd-looking chain. It melted and coated the whole chain, now making it look like every other chain on the meteor hammer. It was slightly thicker, but no one would notice. She stood and picked up the weapon. Even she couldn't tell what chain it was, and had to use her powers to see which one had the most energy in it. That was the only way she could really tell which chain was the impure one.
Elaeus was probably wondering why she did such a thing and he would keep on wondering. There was no way Relena was telling him another one of her secrets. The real reason for doing such a thing was so she could extend the chain on the meteor hammer. Since the one link was partly composed of the metal from the nail it made it easier to break or shift. Relena could break it open in a fight, take out 19 of her spheres and shift them into links. Then she could add them to the weapon and fix the hole she made in the impure link. That way the meteor hammer would be able to reach further and she could also use the chain to stop a sword from coming down on her.
A portal was opened up now. It would lead to the Play Islands which Relena has recently mentioned to Elaeus. It would be a good place to spar and practice using this weapon. She probably wouldn't use it very often in the fight, but enough to get a good feel for how to use it. The real training for learning how to use the weapon would take place somewhere more secluded. Relena would also be alone, as she seemed to learn better when she didn't have to hide everything from the eyes of onlookers. She would have to learn how to quickly add links to the meteor hammer and how to shift the weights on either side of the weapon.
Elaeus was right though, if she learned how to shift the weights, they could easily be made into large razor discs. She could even make more tiny spheres if needed. The amount of attacks Relena could make grew now that she had this weapon in her grasp. However, most of the attacks could only be made once she trained for a long time. She was not one of those people that could use a weapon perfectly after just getting it. People like that often met their end from being careless and not knowing the weak points of their weapon. Relena was not going to die again and would take her time learning to use the meteor hammer.
Now that she had at least gotten to learn some strong and weak points of her weapon she was ready to spar with Elaeus. She had stared at the portal for long enough now and was wasting Elaeus' time by just standing around and planning. Surely the only reason he agreed to duel was to fight with her and not allow her to figure out the many uses for her new weapon. She nodded to him, a way of her saying good luck, and stepped into the portal. Now it was time to see just how well she performed with the new meteor hammer.

(Play Islands:: might as well keep it in the same thread)
Emerging from the other side of darkness, Elaeus peered out to seeing more of the sunlight that was slightly held back from his vision. The solid mini island was white with sand and tinted stones, but magically a tree was able to grow and bend on such a small portion of earth surrounded by sea water. Perhaps it used a mechanism to survive with ocean that would seem unhealthy for it.
Turning his head, while waiting for Relena, he scanned across the island not seeing and children that may pester them, but he wouldn't depend on them to keep at bay. In these times, teens were drunk with the feeling of invincibility until they see the scenario from every angle or an extreme sense of naive justice.
His fingers wiggled before darkness twisted around them. With an order, tiger claws were gripped in his hands. "Ready when you are..."

She smirked as she appeared in front of him after he scanned the island. Relena had altered the path of the portal to a few feet away in case Elaeus had decided to attack her as she came out of the portal. His eyes had a sort of calm-before-the-storm look to them after seeing that no one was there and he summoned his tiger claws. Then his eyes hardened like the darkness hardened to make his claws. She was aware of what was going to happen now. They would duel and if all went well, Relena would get a good feel for her weapon. Speaking of her weapon, where was it? Her pockets were only filled with spheres, no meteor hammer there.
She lifted a brow as her eyes went to the tiger claws on Elaeus' hand. She held out her right hand and focused on the form of the meteor hammer. Darkness formed in her hand and slowly began to materialize. Soon there was a solid object in her hand, cool to touch, heavy to hold. She grasped her meteor hammer and smirked. It was a cool trick, being able to summon her weapon. This would be easier than having to lug around such a heavy object all day. That and the fact that she couldn't hide it as easily as she could her spheres. She lifted the meteor hammer into the air using her powers and sent it spinning at Elaeus. It would be hard to block, the chains were one thing, the weights on either end were another.

Seeing the meteor come his way, Elaeus side stepped away before lashing down on it's chain changing the direction and weight of the meteor to the floor. The tiger claws has its own advantage in gripping an opponent's weapon, which was mainly why any opponent with a sword would be at a disadvantage when the heartless can grip and twist it from their hands.
Running forward, he stepped on the chain to prevent Relena for tugging it back for another attack. As a long range weapon, it relied on distance to make an efficent full weighed attack. He curved his path to slash up her side and arm.

She saw him stop her attack and laughed inside. He really thought this would stop her from doing anything? Her spheres came out and shifted immediately into kunai. They were aimed for Elaeus' leg and were released. Relena pulled at the meteor hammer with her powers so that when Elaeus dodged her kunai the meteor hammer would be released. She would pull the meteor hammer in such a way that, when released, it would launch directly at Elaeus. If only she could shift the silver, then she would really be able to make the blow--if there was one--fatal. As she continued to tug at the weapon she tried to shape shift it as well.

Elaeus kept his weight firmly on the weaponry. Seeing the knives, his eyes narrowed as his right palm waved up in the air in a windmill. The Earth rose up as a protective dome blocking the knives. He dug his heel in the chain allow the earth to grab some to drag underground.
With concentration, the earth shell hardened before combusting towards Relena. The pieces blew dust and dubri blocking sight as sand from the beach was added with it. While the pieces flew, he made himself lighter with sand as he walked lightly on his feet, while prowling towards the Heartless.

The Earth flew up to stop her kunai and she melted them together in the shape of a shield. The earth that was supposed to swallow her spheres then exploded out at Relena. She cast Thunder on her shield increasing the speed it traveled at hoping that it would be enough to stop the pieces coming at her. With 19 of her spheres being in use right now and her meteor hammer being trapped under Elaeus' foot she realized that she only really had one sphere left. Or did she? A portal opened up behind Elaeus and out stepped a Scorplion, ready to attack. She slowly begin to walks toward Elaeus as he did the same hoping that he wouldn't notice the Heartless behind him.

"I don't know whether to call this a compliment or an insult." The debris began whisping around them like a sand storm until Elaeus was barely visible. From a far, one would see sand tornado funneling on the little island as the sand abused the leaning tree it whipped past in an ever-changing motion.
A piece of the island wrapped around the meteor before dragging it underground. A stalagmite made by the island shot up from underneath the scorplion, which triggered a chain reaction of more sharp spire shot out from below in a wave.

Relena glared at Elaeus and suddenly began to get a halo of gold around her body. She was charging herself up with energy and watched as the Scorplion was skewered, looked down curiously at the object that pierced it, and then disintegrated. Her spheres returned to her and began to circle around her open hands. The spheres melted together yet again, this in the shape of razor discs. Three of them were formed and she touched each of them slowly. They too gathered energy and soon had a ring of gold around them. The buzz of electricity filled the air. Another buzz soon followed along, though it wasn't apparent at first what it was. If one was watching, the strange buzzing would soo become apparent. The razor discs slowly began to spin in the air, faster and faster, creating an odd zzzztt noise. The electricity around them began to lash out from the speed, creating razors of electricity around the steel razors.
Thunder was cast and a lightning bolt hit the earth in the spot where the meteor hammer was last seen. It was common sense that when lightning strikes the earth the negative charge disperses into the ground. Relena expected this to happen, in fact she wanted this to happen. The particles were controlled by the Steel Blitzer and rushed at the underground Meteor Hammer. Once they latched on they created the same energy ring that her razor discs had around them. Now she had every piece in place, now she was ready to fight.
She launched the razor discs at Elaeus and the ring of electricity around them lashed out at him. While he was busy she took the electricity surrounding her body and forced it into her hands. With the electricity surrounding both her hands and her meteor hammer she tugged at her newest weapon. She hoped that the earth would give way as she tugged at the meteor hammer. If it didn't, then she would just have to resort to fighting with her spheres. Then again, wasn't this fight supposed to be about just using the meteor hammer. She was here to learn how to use the weapon, not watch it be submerged in the earth. Didn't Elaeus get that fighting with her spheres was not what she was here for?

His nose twitched as the sand whirlwind continued. A funnel redirected inside towards the eye to hit the razor discs at an angle to disrupt their flow and flight path. With the wind the sand had brought, it knocked the discs down by their central point of balance.
Bending his knees, his arm forced out an open palmed punch, and a stream of sand followed Elaeus command as it charged towards Relena's stomach.
Her razor discs were excellent at locking in on a target and sticking with it. But today Relena wasn't using that ability, she was using a different one. This ability she was now using was used simply for switching targets. The razor discs originally were headed for the middle of Elaeus' chest but they took a new target as their center of gravity was hit. They dropped like stones but before they could hit the ground they froze and shot at Elaeus' legs. Now he had thrusted sand at her stomach with the intent on harming her. With her spheres used up and her meteor hammer slowly coming out of the ground she was weaponless for the time being.
However, she still had her lightning, and though it didn't do squat on Elaeus she could still use it to her advantage. Maybe if she made a ring of Thunders around her fellow Dark XII member. That would temporarily blind him and give Relena a chance to evade the sand attack. It would also make him stand still, ensuring that her razor discs would hit their target. There was just one little problem, and that was the amount of energy this attack would cost. It was more of a dodge than an attack really and it seemed almost pointless to waste her energy on this. The amount of Thunders it would take to make a circle of lightning around Elaeus would probably be around 12. Surely it would drain her magic down to almost nothing.
With the sand coming at her, she had no choice. She wouldn't be able to cast that many Thunders that quickly, and she wasn't going to waste all of her magic now. If this was a battle she didn't care about, then Relena probably would have used all of her magic now, but she actually wanted to beat Elaeus. She tucked her chin in and dodged to the right side and felt some sand graze her skin. As soon as she hit the ground she rolled and jumped back. How could sand hurt so much? She saw that her clothing was shredded on her left side and lifted it to inspect the damage. Sure enough the tiny grains of sand had pierced her flesh. It wasn't a deep wound, but it was wound nevertheless. Had she not hesitated before she dodged, Relena would probably not have this wound. But she had hesitated and so the left side of her cloak was slightly ruined by the attack. From here on out she would have to move quicker.
