In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Elaeus had traveled through the main island without any troubles, which was an extremely rare occassion. Any other time people would be so paranoid with one another that even a Heartless in disguised would be easily harrassed before the true nature was revealed. The play island was more secluded for only children run to and fro here, but fortunately the Heartless can find time to himself. Despite all the chaos, the children on this world was still gaining education in school.
He began whistling lowly as he carried a package in his hand. Why was he doing this? Multiple reasons were involved. Plus when does Elaeus ever do anything without a significant purpose. For now he had to wait, hopefully she won't be a difficult prima dona. The behavior wasn't needed, especially when strings can always be snipped.

Petals danced in the wind, releasing their sweet aroma for all to enjoy. Relena, however, did not enjoy the smell of these pink petals. Their bright, cheery colors made her eyes sore and the faintest whiff of them made her wrinkle up her nose. A petal passed right in front of her face and it suddenly fell to the ground. One of her spheres mashed the petal into the pavement and left the petal mutilated against the stone. She brought the rest of her spheres down on the remaining petals, taking them out quickly so she didn't have to endure looking at them any longer. There was a reason she resided in the World That Never Was, as there was no such thing as a flower petal in that world, or any other cheery things.
She wiped the petals' juice off of each sphere one-by-one and set them various pockets in her cloak. A post-it note had earlier made its way to her room and stuck itself to her wall while she was out causing trouble. She had a feeling it was that little weasel Elaeus, as all the other Dark XII members seemed to be on missions now-a-days. All the sticky note read was "Destiny Islands." Such a helpful piece of paper. It didn't even specify which island to go to, but she guessed it was the main island. If it was indeed Elaeus that was behind all of this, she guessed that he would hate the scenery on the outer islands as much as she did.
Sure she could just use a heartless to find him, but she didn't want to draw attention to herself. She stepped on the petals she had just crushed and smiled, didn't want to draw attention to herself. For now she was sticking to parts of the main island that were rather deserted so that Elaeus could spot her easily, or vice versa. Her eyes narrowed as she searched, now finding it hard to believe that she was ever supposed to meet anyone here in the first place. Had she just fallen for a prank? How embarrassing.

His ear perked as his nose twitched. There was too much sea water about him to smell anything. With a snort, he walked back into a portal in the realm of darkness in the plane of Destiny Island. He prowled leaving the Play Islands knowing she wouldn't be here leaving the Main Island the last options. Finding a secluded spot, he re-emerged before strolling from the vacant area to the main roads.
He tossed away the excessive black wear. The last thing he wanted was to draw more attention, since many here wore bright colors. After all dark colors produced heat. He still wore his black slacks and boot-like shoes. Instead of the usual dark long sleeves, he was in a cropped short sleeves sandy brown body shaper. The black sash he carried was tucked away in his pocket replaced with sun glasses. The glasses wiggled with the twitch of his nose; he found her.
With a few turns and alleyways, he found her in a vacant lot. "There you are. How surprising you did came just to say many say you do nothing."

Yes, there he was, just as expected. She quickly took a fighting stance, not taking any chances if he was going to pull something on her. Quickly her spheres flew out and shifted into hundreds of petals. If she were to fight this earth user, then she'd need to use small objects, objects that would be hard to keep track of. She narrowed her eyes and looked at him with pure rage. Just why was he here? Her eyes darted to the package in his hand. And just what was that? It didn't matter unless it was a sort of weapon he planned on using on her. So he brought her here to test out his new weapon on her? So be it.

"Relena calm down. If I wanted to fight and injure you, I would've done so back home. It's meaningless to call you out here for such thing in a place that can cause attention and attraction of the very keyblade wielders that live here." Elaeus spoke out after sighing, while juggling the package in his hands.
"What do you have to be nervous about anyway?" He lifted the package higher, "This? Actually it's for you...if you can behave yourself. We need to talk Relena, since you haven't been so active. You didn't even start or complete a mission handed to you. Many had vanished already before emerging back. What's your excuse?"
He leaned against the wall calmly and turned his head to watch her.
Damn him. The petals dropped to the ground like bricks and snaked up into her pockets in liquid steel form. She dusted off her cloak casually and straightened up. Almost demanding she held out and hand and wiggled her fingers in a sort of 'gimme' fashion. "Elaeus, why don't you try giving me an interesting mission once in a while? All these missions I was given sucked and I was bored out of my mind the whole time" She rolled her eyes, a little annoyed at the fact that he chose to whine about the fact that she wasn't doing any missions. If others were going to nag on her about being weak since she was number 12 then she could always use that excuse, 'But Elaeus, I'm number 12! I don't have to do missions!' Oh, but whiny Elaeus would go to Ansem and complain. Then Relena would be put in a maid outfit and have to clean the whole castle. It would be a different story if the Dark XII was composed entirely of girls, but since there were 11 guys with a room of their own, there was sure to be mountains of clothes on the floor and odd substances caked on the walls. She shuddered at the though and looked Elaeus in the eyes, why wasn't he handing it over?

Seeing her little sign of want and begging, he held the present away as she spoke. He shook her head with a sigh. Seriously, she wanted interesting mission, but Relena was the top person who would never want to go 100% on everything; she liked to keep as much to herself. Not many knew of her heartless unlike he did. "Well Little Lena if you were present. You've had the interesting mission; instead I had to go myself with Dilan and leave a big mess."
"Like everyone else who expects to get higher, you'll have to work to get what's in here." He bounced the present on his fingers, while walking away; his free hand beckoned her to follow. They might as well roam the world; he rather not have to deal with nosey individuals watching two people converse secretly in isolation. "Tell me Relena, what do you know of this world? You already know of our main purpose...well goal, but what makes this world different from the rest? What are its pros and cons?
Since Relena can't finish any of her missions, she would be helping think of a new future project.

Her eyes narrowed to perfect slits. Why did Elaeus always have to make things so damn difficult? She watched him walk away, letting the distance between him grow. Finally when he was close to being the size of an ant she slammed her fist down on a crate next to her and cussed under her breath. How anyone managed to get so far under her skin was beyond her. A dark portal opened up and she stepped inside, coming out next to Elaeus. Why did he want to know what she knew about this world? Practically everyone knew about this world.
"Destiny Islands is made up of a bunch of islands which are surrounded by water. Important people that live here are Sora, Kairi, Riku. There's a little play island that is a ways out from here, Sora and the others go there. A secret tunnel is there, we all know what that's for." She sighed under she breath and glared at him before asking, "Can I have the box now?"
Post by Ellie who has 0% on Jan 7, 2010 16:33:10 GMT -4
"Wow this would be the first time I see you so anxious Little Lena, but no you can't have the box just yet." He chuckled in amusement. "I have another question for you though," he wanted to see how her mind worked before he gave it to her.
"Now it's true we all know the Door to the Heart is located and know why we haven't gone and get it, since such attempt without much thought can lead to one floating away to Kingdom Come. So Relena, if we were to get the heart with less trouble, how should we go about it?"
The box began to bounce on his fingers wondering what would Relena come up with. Many may find her sadistic in nature. He might as well put it to use versus merely allowing her to be dead weight, dead weight that can be dumped off to rot. "Try to think on this one instead of giving me a b.s. answer to get your present."
Post by sagefirefox on Jan 11, 2010 23:56:41 GMT -4
All she wanted was the box, and if he needed just a simple answer then so be it. She had thought about it for a while, this question of opening up the Door to the Heart, but never really came up with any strategies. Even if Elaeus told her to not come up with some quick answer and to think it through she would go against his orders. She would give him a good answer, though not exactly fool-proof. Either way, it should get the job done.
"We portal to the Play Island and enter the secret tunnel. The Keyblade Wielders will probably come as soon as our presence is felt so we'd have to get to the tunnel quickly. We'd only need about two of the Dark XII members, no one should be able to interfere. Then, one person focuses on the Door to the Heart while the other opens up a darkness portal in the entrance to the tunnel. That way if any Keyblade Wielder tries to enter the tunnel to stop us they'll end up being sent straight into darkness. Since they can't do a thing about it, we easily open up the door. Good enough for you?"
She was tempted to say "Can I have the box now?" but figured it made her sound desperate for it, something Elaeus would surely take advantage of. For some reason she just really wanted the box. It had a strange feel of importance to her, or perhaps it was just the fact that he had said it was specifically for her. A present maybe? That seemed like a lie though, what member of the Dark XII would give her a present? Most likely it was some sort of trap to make her reveal her knowledge of the different worlds, reveal--more specifically--what little knowledge she had. Then he would exploit her and it would be goodbye Dark XII for her. There were always those people in life that could never be decoded, their personalities, their thoughts, their past. Relena had never met one personally, until she met Elaeus. His ability to hide things from people probably came in handy for him during circumstances like this. Circumstances that pissed Relena off.

"There Relena, you have finally made some pinch on contribution to the Dark XII by actually thinking of something. After all one wouldn't want dead weight. Plus it's benefitial to have other opinions, since another could think of creating a natural diaster to scare them off leaving them scarred and homeless." He looked down at her with a hum, "It may not be full-proof, but it's a start nonetheless."
Softly, he bounced the box on his fingers as darkness kept it in the air defying gravity. It would proove useful for Relena for she won't have to expose her spheres all the time. Also she wouldn't have any excuses of not going out to do missions; the spheres she had were small, which called for small manipulation in stretching their horizons. Also steel isn't the greatest conductor.
"For now on, take what's given to you, or you would be speculated as dead weight."
Elaeus tossed the box to her, which would have a thick uneven weight. Inside was a double headed meteor hammer. The meteors are the two balls that are bonded by a long 3 meter Omega chain. The material was silver, a high conductor. Even if she wasn't physically strong enough, her element of lightening can charge energy and heat through making it deadlier and easily managed.
"I doubt even your close-range fighting Nobody would be able to handle that. Although you both share the same element, silver is a high-class conductor easily obtaining heat, any changes of temperature. Like anyone with a physical body, they can be severly burned or freezer burned."
Post by sagefirefox on Jan 14, 2010 22:43:14 GMT -4
The meteor hammer lifted itself out of the box while Relena stood in front of it. It was surprisingly light as she used her power of manipulating electromagnetic fields to keep it floating. It didn't feel right though, unlike her spheres it didn't have the buzz of electricity surrounding it. She twisted her hand to the right and sent the meteor hammer spinning in the air. Upon inspection it seemed like a good weapon, but it didn't really seem to appeal to her. There didn't seem to be that special molding power infused into it. As she tried to mold the hammer it was rejected and kept the same ball and chain shape.
"Since it can't shape shift, I take it you want me to do something else with it. Throw it?"
So now he suspected that just because she was a girl meant she could throw. Sadly, this was only half true. She'd have to practice to actually get good with using this new weapon. But what of it's durability? Thundara would answer that question, after all, didn't silver melt when put under extreme heat? A large lightning bolt shot down from no where and struck the meteor hammer followed by several more strikes that hit the target. A sizzling noise could then be heard and Relena narrowed her eyes upon inspection. The steel was simply glowing a nice yellow color but somehow staying in tact. Now she tried to shape shift it and again failed.
"You're saying that I can heat this with Thunder and then hurl it at my opponents? Are you sure it can withstand the constant temperature changes?"
She set a hand on a hip, put her weight to one side of her body and moved the meteor hammer over to a barrel of water. She shut her open hand and the new weapon dropped like a dead weight into the barrel sending up steam from the hot metal coming in contact with the water. The barrel split open from the impact and water washed over the road. Relena walked over and prodded the meteor hammer with the tip of her boot to which she heard a satisfying hiss of leather burning. Quickly she pulled her foot back and smirked. It certainly could stay hot for a while, perhaps this gift could be useful. Those were her thoughts before she realized what would happen if the weapon was hit by a blizzard spell. After realizing such a thing she grinned and looked to Elaeus. "I'm sure this will come in handy."

"Shifting maybe a harder task, since to shift you must melt the metal. Silver is one of the best conductor far more greater than steal. If you successful reach it's melting point, I'm sure you can shift the ball end to sharp discs and such. If you need necessary tweaks, I'm sure Even can do it justice."
The Earth Titan watched her experiment with it like a child with a new toy. She didn't look too pleased, but that wasn't the purpose of it from the beginning. "I'm sure you can adapt to it. Treat it like a whip or lassle. With it's weight and the world's natural physics, it shouldn't be hard to pick up."
"Like I said, for no on take what's given to you including your missions. Take that as advice from second-in-command," Elaeus turned his head away looking over the world. Since their previous target, Radiant Garden, has been placed to the side, they will have to work around that world and focus on others picking each of them one by one.

Relena followed his gaze to survey Destiny Islands. She watched him curiously as he did so. As she did so, her weapon began hovering in the air once again and made its way over to her palm. It slowly came down into her hand where she grasped it and truly felt its true weight. It was a lot heavier than the steel spheres, but that was expected. She moved her arm up and down a couple times like a body builder lifting weights at the gym. It was possibly heavier than a sword, but not as heavy as the poor excuse for daggers that Sai carried around.
"Elaeus?" she began, continuing on without waiting for a response, "Would you like to be the first to try this weapon out with me?"
This would be as kind as she got toward anyone else, allowing them the honor of training her first before anyone else. She tossed the weapon up into the air and watched it spin a couple times as it rose before falling. She snatched it out of the air, the weight making her use more strength than she was used to so that she could stop the weapon. She tried this a couple more times, tossing it into the air and catching it before it hit the ground so that she could get a feel for it and figure out what it's weak and strong points where.
She tossed it into the air one last time and it hung there, without anything supporting it, in the air. She made her finger draw a circle in the air and the meteor hammer began to spin. This time she reached up to grab the hammer while it was still spinning. Her fingers wrapped around the chain so close to one of the weights that the outside of her palm was pressed against the cool silver. The other weight swung around and ended up wrapping around her arm. She had to be careful when trying to grab the weapon while it was still spinning in the air, she could already see a weight slamming into her fingers.
