In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The wind blew through the trees of the forest outside the mansion, the breeze blowing the weaker of the leaves down to the floor in a dance full of sorrow. The wind whistled a melodic tune to its friends the trees, battering from tree to tree making a sound that could be mistaken as angels singing. Truly, today was the day of songs.
Atop a branch in one of the many trees sat a shadowed figure, one leg handing over the edge, shifting with the wind, the other pushed against the branch holding the figures back against the trunk. One of the arms hand limp to a side, the hand on the other held atop the silhouettes’ knee. Tendrils leaked from the hand, small thin shadows, dancing up into the air from the hand, these shadows were far from malicious, they where soft, caressing.
The figure in the tree hummed melodically with the wind. Darkun pondered about what today would hold. He had been with Sam for a while, now sat alone he felt empty, he wanted him back... his friend... his...
The sun didn’t quite reach the ground; the leaves lay there immersed in the shade from the still living leaves atop the canopy. Occasionally a beam of light battled its way through and was revealed against the floor.
It was then that the wind's tune changed, Darkun felt like he knew the tune, it was impossible for it to be an actual tune but regardless he sang the song. Chances are no one was around to hear him, he preferred it that way, only those that he held close got to hear him sing to them, Sam was one of those people.
If you are near, to the dark I will tell you bout the sun You are here, no escape From my visions of the world You will cry, all alone But it does not mean a thing to me.
Known is the song, I will sing Till the darkness comes to sleep Come to me, I will tell Bout the secret of the sun It’s in you, not in me But it does not mean a thing.... to you.
Darkun's memory was gone, he knew very little, as time had now gone on he regained faces, the occasional name. Antique. He had however discovered that there was a chance he was from the same World as Sam, where he would of been treat as a freak and a experiment. In some ways he was glad he was void of memories.
Nolo pressed his hand against the rough exterior of the tree, examining it closely. I wonder what makes you so rough, so strong.. Are you soft beneath your hard outer shell? Are you connected to those around you? Do your roots intertwined with each other? I wonder if that's how all living things are on a certain level.. He leaned his back up against the tree, lowering himself slowly to the ground, feeling the back of his jacket snagging on to the tree's scratchy exterior.
Nolo look over at the opening in the wall, that lead back to Twilight Town. Being in that town really brought him down, every where he looked would cause him to question his past and who he was. It really tore at him that he had no clue, but he felt deep down that he was unique. Not sure how, but he knew a way, he could feel it.
Small chirping could be heard, causing the young boy to look up. A small group of beautiful birds, each differently colored, chasing each other, jumping from branch to branch. Nolo couldn't help himself but smile. Did he have friends like that at one point? Maybe that's what he needed was a friend. But he was so shy around those he didn't know. Perhaps it was time to change that.
Nolo widened his eyes as he noticed a small energy presence, was it there in the forest with him, or in the town. He looked around, checking if there was anyone near by, giving off that energy. He pulled himself to his and began following the energy signature, his eyes once again giving off their silver glow. The deeper he went into the forest the stronger the energy grew. Nolo looked back, making sure that he was still able to see the hole leading back to Twilight Town.
Before long he was able to hear singing.. Someone else was in the forest. Nolo ignored the energy signature, and began following the singing, not realizing they were both coming from the same person. As he got closer, the song became clearer, and the song sounded sad, or perhaps it was how the person was singing it.
He stopped, noticing the voice was strong and seemed very close, yet there was no one around. Where is it coming? He then realized the song was coming from above. He looked up seeing an older boy, sitting on one of the branches. From what Nolo could see was that the boy had turquoise colored hair, and his outfit was strange, different, yet unique in a good way. It was as if he stole his clothing from a scarecrow.
Finishing up his song, the older boy hadn't noticed Nolo standing below him as of yet. The young replica wasn't sure if he should say anything or walk away, keeping his silence. He wanted to move out of his shell and make a connection with someone, maybe this was the boy to connect with. Nolo bit his lower lip, trying to push out words, but they didn't want to budge. What's the worst that can happen?
He took in one deep breath before speaking out towards the boy. "The song.. It sounds sad. Why?" Nolo made sure to avoid eye contact with the older boy, still trying to over come his shyness.

Darkun had just finished singing, the winds had died, and the forest was now all but silent, far off chirping of birds. It was only then that he realised he was not alone, he felt another shadow nearby, a shadow of someone… before he could search deeper for the shadow it found him and asked a question.
"The song.. It sounds sad. Why?"
“It’s a song to show the end of the world. That would be why its… sad” He smiled lightly, clenching his fist the shadows that leaked from the hand dispersed, vaporising into the air, floating away like ash. One of the surviving tendrils fell, it worked its way down, like a feather falling in the wind, coming down in front of the boy beneath, before his eyes it began to move towards him, it caressed the boys cheek for a split second before it dispersed and turned to an ash like substance which then faded into nothing.
Darkun didn’t even bother to look down at the boy, his powers where developed enough now, and due to there being very little light down here he was at his strongest, the whole arena was one massive shadow. With that he himself began to turn into the ash like substance and dispersed into nothing. Behind the boy he reformed himself, the shadow-like claws dragged him back, begging him to stay in their dark embrace for a short while longer, their efforts in vein, the shadows fell to the floor, and retained to their original form of Darkun’s shadow.
“So who might you be?” he asked, placing his azure eyes up to the boy, trying to get the boy to meet them, Darkun’s eyes were… empty, they held no emotion to look at. “ You can call me Darkun” he spoke, his eyes unblinking, body unmoving.
“It’s a song to show the end of the world. That would be why its… sad” Nolo looked up at the older boy, as he sat high in the tree, a bit concerned by his words. End of the world? Really? Or is he just trying to scare me? He crossed his arms over his chest, tilting his head to the side, trying to figure it out.
His thoughts were interrupted as a small dark tendril slowly drifted from above, rubbing itself along his right cheek, before fading away. Nolo took a step back, not exactly sure what it was. He looked up at the boy only to see him no longer there. Nolo dropped his jaw, shocked. He looked around in the branches, trying to see where the older boy had gone.
Nolo's body stiffened up, feeling a familiar energy signature, the same one from earlier before. His eyes still gave off their silver glow, indicating such energy was near by. It was coming from behind. “So who might you be?” Was the boy able to teleport? Or was he just fast? Nolo turned his head, glancing over his shoulder. So he was the one giving off the energy.. What is he?
At the moment the young replica was unsure of what to do. Should he run? Or would that make things worse? Nolo was scared that much was sure. The older boy introduced himself as Darkun, an odd name, but so was Noloyolo. Nolo turned himself to face Darkun, noticing the look within his eyes. They were empty, emotionless. The look sent a chill down his spine.
Nolo forced himself to give Darkun a warm smile, maybe he was being too judgemental. Perhaps this older boy was nicer than he seemed. "I'm Noloyolo.. It's nice to meet you, Darkun. Forgive me for being so bold, but.. What are you?" The young boy's smile faded a bit, as he cocked his head to the side.

"I'm Noloyolo... It's nice to meet you, Darkun. Forgive me for being so bold, but... What are you?"
Darkun could see the fright, the small things in his body language, the restless looking around, trying to find him, then the uneasy gaze that he was given, the question was a fair enough one. “I’m a freak. And you are forgiven.” That was the first thing that came to mind, he could of gone into the whole story of what he thought, how he thought that he originally thought he came from a world where he was tortured, or how he knew a girl called Antique but wasn’t sure where from. He didn’t explain, there was no need.
“I can see your scared” he said, his eyes where empty, blank but his face gave a warm smile. “There’s no need, if I wanted to harm you, you’d be harmed, your currently surrounded by shadow” Darkun’s glance fell to the ground, the canopy of the trees sheltered them, held shadow throughout the entire area, barely and light shone through. “There’s no need to be scared Noloyolo. Hmmm, I like that name… N-o-l-o-y-o-l-o…” He smiled lightly as he thought the name over to himself, he then sent his gaze back up from the floor to the boy.
“What brought you to the forest?” he asked intrigued, his azure blue hair seemed to shine even though there was no light nearby. He smiled realising how strange it must be for this boy.
The birds sang their songs above them, one fluttered down onto the branch that Darkun had been sat on. He glances up to it, so fully content at the moment. He walked slowly towards a tree that was about half a metre away and then sat down against it, looking up at Noloyolo. He awaited a response.
Darkun pondered to himself, wondering if this boy would run away in fear from a freak like Darkun, or if he would commune, perhaps he would know things… who knew, meeting new people was always a strange thing and if it was just meeting one person Darkun could cope.
Shortly after asking Darkun his question, he realized that may have been a mistake. But what's done is done, all he can do is just learn from it. Hearing Darkun refer to himself as a freak, caused him to feel even worse. He placed his eyes on the ground, avoiding eye contact with the boy once again, yet he couldn't help wonder why Darkun considered himself a freak, maybe he was. It was probably best to leave that for later on.. If there was a later on.
“I can see your scared” Nolo closed his eyes, knowing he couldn't deny it. It was clear that he was scared, and he needed to learn how hide it better. He looked up at Darkun, noticing the warm smile on his face, even though his eyes were blank, it was slightly creepy, but in a way it calmed him. "There’s no need, if I wanted to harm you, you’d be harmed, your currently surrounded by shadow”
Nolo tilted his head, not really sure what he meant. He looked around the forest, realizing that what he said was true, they were surrounded by shadows, but what did that really matter? Was there something in the shadows? “There’s no need to be scared Noloyolo. Hmmm, I like that name… N-o-l-o-y-o-l-o…”
Nolo couldn't help but let out a small laugh, knowing that Darkun didn't know where the name, "Noloyolo" originated from. It was something small and silly to be honest. He was still new to Twilight Town, he sat by himself along the sidewalk, watching people walk by without them even giving him a glance. As one person walked by he dropped a small soda can near by. The name of the drink was, "Mellow Yellow" and he enjoyed the name and wanted something similar. Thereby creating Noloyolo.
"What brought you to the forest?"
Nolo shrugged, not too sure himself. "I'm not sure, really. I guess it's maybe because I find it calm and soothing, and I feel like I can belong somewhere. I don't feel like I belong in Twilight Town. People treat me odd, for reasons I don't know. I just really enjoy it out here and it helps me think. And what about you?"

Darkun could see the look of regret, why was he feeling sorry for Darkun? He wanted to make sure that his boy knew what was happening, wanted to give him plenty of chance to run away screaming at him calling him a freak. He wanted to give the boy a fair chance to leave without getting involved with a strange boy like Darkun. How to do it?
"I'm not sure, really. I guess it's maybe because I find it calm and soothing, and I feel like I can belong somewhere. I don't feel like I belong in Twilight Town. People treat me odd, for reasons I don't know. I just really enjoy it out here and it helps me think. And what about you?"
Perfect… With that Darkun had himself walk towards the boy, heading straight for him, the smile gone from his face, and just as he was about to walk into the boy. Darkun made himself intangible, small swirls of shadow flaked off him as he walked straight through Nolo. He solidified on the other side, taking a few more steps before stopping. Then, acting like naught had happened he spoke.
“I live in an old mansion just over there. I like the forest, its coated in shadows, and its peaceful.” He smiled lightly again, returning to his face and he now wondered if he overdid it, did he perhaps go a tad overboard with the demonstration, alas, it was done, and could not be undone.
Then, inhaling deeply, he let a very melancholy song spread through the trees
Don’t turn away. Don’t give into the pain Don’t try to hide Though they’re screaming your name Don’t close your eyes God knows what lies behind Don’t turn out the light Never sleep… never die.
