In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

After arriving to Traverse Town Through the Gummy ship port, one of the first locations at sight would be the café restaurant of the town, a place of meetings and discussion where many travelers went to talk about their adventurers or simply rest and enjoy of a good meal after a long and hard day of work.
"Here's your order"
A waitress of name Saga carefully deposited a cup of dark brownish coffee along small packets of sugar and some pancakes on a table used by some customers and promptly went back to the kitchen to pick more supplies and feed the hungry customers.
"If weren't for the uniform and because I could find interesting people this way, I would never work in this place"
She was never of the social type and this job demanded a constant contact with the many people arriving there. It was really an annoying situation, but as she knew, the odds of finding potential allies were higher than if she simply wandered the streets, and she needed money obtained from working there, it was a well paid job.
Day after day she nurtured her dreams of creating a heartless-free world controlled by a superior and evolved human race, for despite the humble job she was currently working in, she was actually one of the greatest mind of her homeworld, a bordering insane scientist who lusted for eternal life and evolution.
Alas, to achieve her goal she needed of followers to work for her and a larger and better equipped base of operations. But luck wasn't a factor helping her; many of those travelers she found were either criminals like that boy who tried to get away with drinking coffee for free, kids who couldn't understand her greater goal for they were too focused in things like good and evil or simply they were unfit for having sub-par intellect.
"Beggars can't be choosers, I'll have to lower my expectations a little the next time"
And so she decided that no matter who was the next fool/adventurer to arrive to the café, she was going to listen to his/her/its history and attempt to scout the adventurer for her goal of a better world for humans and death or a lifetime as guinea pigs for horrible experiments to all those defects known as heartless and nobodies.
It had been 3 years, 3 whole years since Kanji had sent foot in this town. Coming from the gummi ship port, Kanji was making his way to the cafe to see an old friend. He hoped that he hadn't forgotten him as it had been quite a while. The boy entered the cafe without much trouble, and he saw that the place was packed.
Not only that, but there seemed to be a waitress now too, the old man must be doing well.
The boy simply stood at the door admiring the view.
He felt right at home. He found himself a seat, and continued to observe the people.
A new client arrived and already took a seat. Saga quickly moved to his table and left the menu of the café restaurant on the table, which had quite a variety of drinks, meals and desserts.
After handing the menu to the client, she inspected his physical appearance: He was a red haired male youth with a strong and sturdy body build, very likely to be a powerful fighter, and his eyes showed some glimpses of seriousness and intelligence. If his brains were as good as his looks he would be a good candidate to join Saga in her pet project of human evolution and destruction of defects. She decided to talk with him a little at least until he decided to buy something.
"What do you think about the heartless? Have you ever fought against any?"
She continued checking his expressions and movements as she made those questions. The last thing she needed was to scout a bodybuilder who was good only for displaying his muscles and had zero fighting abilities and was dumb as rocks.
"Take your time. The boss doesn't mind if I talk with customers"
If the red haired guy were to answer her questions with intelligence, she would attempt to scout him, but if he were just your average all muscles, no brain guy, she would find no more reason to deal with this guy, because her plan required of people with a minimum of intelligence and she wasn't going to accept idiots who would get themselves in sticky situations like getting manipulated by a obnoxious manipulative boy or something like that.
Kanji simply stared at the woman. What a strange waitress, but she seemed to be eager to hear him speak. He could tell that there was something not right about her, but it was probably just a feeling.
'' So far, I believe the heartless are imperfect beings. I have battled with them before, and they have shown little sign of intelligence. Further more, I don't see the reason why such creatures should be able to step on humanity. Basically, I think they are insignificant lower life forms, who should be destroyed'' Kanji said.
He took a quick look at the menu, then spoke again.
'' As for my order, I would like a cup of hot coffee, black, and with three sugar cubes'' Kanji added.
He said all this in a calm intellectual tone, then he waited for her answer.
She grinned a little before leaving the red haired customer alone. He was the kind of man she needed for her project and she wasn't going to lose this opportunity to scout her first ally
"Here's your order, and see me later"
She handed to the red haired young man what he ordered, the bill to be paid later and a little piece of paper that said "I want to talk about something with you, if you are interested wait outside"
Her work hours were almost over and all she needed was to continue working and wait, hoping that the red haired man was interested enough in meeting her later to stay near the café.
Kanji didn't say a word. He simply sat and finished his coffee, and he felt right at home again. He stood up once he was finished, then he paid the bill. After that he simply stood up and took his bag. And in a few seconds he was standing outside the cafe waiting for the woman.
He was probably crazy, but still he was quite interested.
Her hour works finally finished and she left the café, still wearing her bunny maid garments. As silly it may look, she always wore the same clothes, even when she wasn't working.
Outside the café, she saw with delight that the red haired man was waiting for her as expected. Looking closely he was more handsome than expected and his balance of strength, wisdom and ideals made him even more attractive, potential follower wise of course.
"You are quite an interesting individual. You actually waited for me"
She saw in his face the same look of seriousness he showed back in the café. He was serious about this and she liked that.
"Despite what you may think, I'm not just a waitress. I am a scientist who wants to cure the universe from this cancer known as heartless. My name is Saga Matsuda and I seek the assistance of strong and intelligent people to help me eradicate those defects from this universe. They are nothing but imperfect beings with no will of their own born from the human misery"
Then she looked straight at his eyes and continued.
"Their absolute destruction via brute force would be fine ... but as a researcher, I'm more interested in capturing those defects and experiment in them to find how to improve humanity and how to kill them faster than simply slaughter them. If possible I want to capture a specimen of every kind of heartless to make progress in my research"
"It's up to you if you believe me or not. It's all for the sake of humanity's survival and the eradication of that black plague"
Kanji listened to the Saga speak without saying anything. He thought about everything she said, somehow he didn't think she was lying. In fact, he could tell that there was something strange about her from the very beginning. So If she did want to get rid of the heartless, then that would be very good news...maybe he could use his skills for something after all.
'' I believe you, though I'm not sure how you are able to perform experiments on them. Experience however taught me to never doubt other people's ability, I will help you anyway I can'' Kanji said.
The fighter held out his woman towards the woman.
'' I am Kanji Hitsugaya, pleasure to meet you Saga'' Kanji added.
It was only a few minutes later that he noticed that he was still smiling.
The man known as Hitsugaya Kanji surpassed her expectations. He was smart, serious and shared the same opinion against those imperfect beings. Luck was finally at her side this time now that she found the perfect assistant.
"Hitsugaya-san, welcome to my team ... and stop smiling please, as joyful as this event is, I don't find it amusing enough to continue smiling."
She hold hands with Hitsugaya and performed the classic hand shake, consolidating their alliance for a heartless-free world.
"Now if you aren't busy, please follow me. My house is near and you should get informed with extra details about the plans I have in mind for those defects"
Jack Styx was "heartless hunting," as he called it. He was finding heartless and destroying them. He figured he'd eventually be able to not find and kill any heartless he could, but for now, he avenged Isabelle, his dear sister.
He hit the jackpot tonight- four groups of five in the Second District. He killed every last one, until he was exhausted. He nearly crawled back to the First District to find nourishment. It was late, so he was likely to find some late-night adventurers, stopping on their way to another planet. Jack loved to hear their stories.
He found a café, but there were two people in front of it. He tried to quietly sheathe his sword, but it made an awful noise. Jack made a face and approached.
Kanji's smile quickly faded. He was glad, he never did like smiling. He didn't waste anytime in following the woman towards her house. He didn't talk, make a sound or look around. He stayed completely focused as If he were a lifeless robot.
'' This should be interesting'' he thought.
( and jack, your chracter hasn't met ours yet..so thats why I idn't use him in my post)
(Hey Jackson, to make things easier for yourself and anyone who's roleplaying with you, you should repost your accepted profile in the final profiles board, in the original characters sub-board and put a link to the profile in your signature.)
Kanji was such a good boy, completely submissive and focused in doing everything that Saga wanted. It was truly the beginning of a wonderful "friendship" if you know what i mean.
"My work hours are over, if you want something go now before the owner closes the cafe"
She noticed the young man walking near them and the loud noise his sword made and answered his question very fast and without thinking deeper, she had better things to do than talk with just a random guy .. or maybe he wasn't just a random guy? Afterall he just sheathed his sword. She stopped in her tracks and looked back at him, telling Kanji to wait as she contacted the young man who has the smell of death around him.
"You smell like you killed a lot today, ... did you hear what we were talking before?"
The smell of sweat in his body, the fast heart-beat in his heart and the killing intent in his eyes showed signs of him feeling a deep hatred for something, and if that something were the heartless he could be a potential follower. Alas, he was just a stranger who may not fulfill the attributes Saga looked for in her followers, so she simply made him a question.
"I sense fear and hatred within you. Is it directed against anything in particular, like the heartless? Do you know why those creatures must be destroyed? ...Or you are simply a kid playing hero like many others in this Town? "
Anyone can be a hero, and sadly some heroes think heartless can be good. That was quite disgusting for her as she found only worth of being part of the new world she wanted to create those who feared not neither the heartless nor light nor darkness, only those who realized that as long humanity had enemies, they were never going to be safe and those imperfect beings born from the weakness of the unworthy had to be annihilated.
(I'll do that as soon as I can do it on an actual computer. Stupid Wii Browser...)
Jack eyed the woman suspiciously. Either she was very observant or strange. Either or, Jack wanted his position known.
"I was out hunting Heartless. They killed my sister, destroyed my world, and took away all that I know and love. I want them gone. They are a plague on the worlds and do not help in any way. And I'm not 'playing hero,' just getting revenge. I will not rest until they are all destroyed. I will do anything to avenge my sister's death. And I'm not afraid. You sensed wrong."
Jack was cold and honest in his words. The hunger in his stomach forgotten, Jack focused on the lady and her companion.
Kanji followed Saga the whole way. He still remained silent, and let her handle the newcomer. Sure he was interested in this womans plan, he was getting a bit bored. Not that it really mattered, anyway. This person seemed to dislike the heartless, so maybe he would do...It was Saga's choice anyway.
The fighter simply waited for the two to finish speaking.
Cold and honest. He was the kind of individuals who would survive a war .. if only his honesty were applied to himself, for the fear he had not even he was aware of it.
"Such a confident look. You say you would do anything for revenge, that kind of mind setting would get you killed ... unless you know how to focus your anger"
She could still sense it, his hatred was hiding the fear within that man's heart. He hated them due his fear and impotence to protect his dear ones. Such were the advantages of being a super human, her senses like the smell and sight were above the levels of a human and were animal-like, and so she could sense everything about his potential allies just by smelling and feeling their heartbeat between other things.
"Come with me and you will find a better way to channel your revenge into something useful. Continue fighting alone, and well ... I'll hunt and capture your heartless when you die, just like I do with the heartless of the many people who got themselves defeated by their own darkness and become the very monster they wanted to destroy"
Said that, she returned with Kanji and ordered him to continue following her. It was up to the young man to decided whenever he was going to continue alone his endless and pointless one man war against the heartless or join her still growing organization.
