In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It's taken many examples of trial and error, like bumping into the base of a coconut tree, but the experiment had been burrowing through the sand, chasing his two playmates without their notice. "Boo! EVIL! Hahaha!" 627 popped out of the sand, right behind the two canines. No one can outsmart this beast in a game of hide and seek! The red experiment grabbed Rocaletta by her hind legs and dragged the pup into the sand.
Aaron snorted. "Don't be too sure about that Rocaletta," he muttered as she stated she could have killed the creature if she was strong, and then he continued, "Eventually I'm going to get hurt. It happens to everyone, and I've dealt with things like this before. I've been fighting for most of my life, okay? I understand your point about this creature, but to me it looked as if all it wanted to do was a play a simple game. It probably doesn't realize to us it's a game of life or death."
He sighed, and then suddenly her the sound of digging from behind him, followed by getting sand tossed on him. He snorted again, shook his fur, and whipped around. It was the devil again, and it had Rocaletta's back legs! He dropped the sword, and walked over to the experiment.
Whenever he was near enough to the creature, he grabbed it by its back, and pried it off of Rocaletta. He then began to drag it out of the cave, and sat it down in front of him. Aaron sat down himself, and looked at the creature.
"Listen up buddy, whadda you say we stop this fighting, and have some real fun? Okay, so here's the deal," His tail lied itself on his paws, and then he went on, "We'll have a treasure hunt. So, this is what we'll do, we will look for some items, and whoever finds all of them first wins." He finished slyly, and closed his eyes. "We need one seagull egg, a coconut, a mushroom, and a pink seashell. The game begins now.."

Suddenly, Rocaletta felt the creature dragging her back. "Let go of me!!!" she roared at the creature. She kicked, but with no luck. Wow, this creature was definitely stronger than it looked. She needed a way to get away from this thing...
She didn't like the way Aaron was so sure this thing just wanted to have fun. Especially from the leg pulling, she really didn't like the way this creature was with them. "Thanks for saving me, Aaron. I'm not up to full strength yet, so I'm not sure that I could have gotten away from it even eventually. Although, honestly, I just wish this thing wasn't so annoying..."
She then turned the sound of Aaron talking about a treasure hunt. "What? Are you crazy? I don't trust this thing. At all." She then started thinking that she had to win this thing. No way would she let this creature win. She then started to run off when one thing came to her mind that caused her to stop. "Hey Aaron, are we on the same team or is it every creature for themselves?"
Aaron turned to Rocaletta, and replied, "I'm not crazy, this happens to be the best idea I've had in a long time," he barked, and the went on to her question, "Even though this thing is stronger then us, and more powerful, it just wouldn't be even if we were in teams. I think having every creature for themselves is better. Oh," he added remember the broken eggs from before, "and one more thing, every items has to come back in good condition. It doesn't have to look perfect, but it can't be in pieces."
Whenever he was finished speaking, Aaron sprinted off towards a tree. The best thing to do would be to get the egg over with first off. When he approched the tree, he looked up, and saw a nest way up in the top branches. He snorted. There was no way he could get up there!
Suddenly, he heard a hiss near him, "Unfortunate land-walker pup. Without claws what will you ever do? Not fit for climbing I see." Aaron, started, looking around for a moment before hearing the voice again, "Up here." He looked up at a near branch, but still one out of his reach, and saw a jet black cat with yellow eyes staring down it him, lapping its paw with its tongue. The cats tail wrapped around its paws with amusement.
"So maybe I can't climb, cat, but I can still get what I need." He growled, and then started running off towards a bridge leading to the play island. He ran across it, and then walked up to an oddly bend tree. He stepped on the trunk, and saw a seagull nest on a reachable branch. Aaron grinned to himself, and pulled it down gently. Inside was one egg.
After getting the egg, he drug it carefully back to the cave's entrance, and dug a small hold. "My pile starts here!" He declared, and pushed the nest inside of it. He then ran towards the beach for his next item; the seashell.

"Hmph," Rocaletta snorted as she heard Aaron's reply. She started running off and quickly got to the other side of the beach. "Hey...wasn't this where I was before? And right after I came out of this side, I started feeling weak. Was that from just exhaustion? I have to find out." Soon she forgot all about the game and started investigating. She knew it was highly unlikely, but she had to be sure.
Suddenly, she saw the coconut that she was going to have earlier. She looked to make sure no humans were around, and then looked at it. That's when the rock hit her head. "Again?" she growled. "I didn't even see kids around this time. They must be hiding. Hey you darn kids! Come out wherever you're hiding! Gosh, I wish they knew where they were."
Then a rock hit her that clearly came right in front of her. Yet, she still saw nobody. "Eh, might as well just take the coconut and get in a pile." She picked up the coconut, then suddenly felt a pull on her leg. "What the..." she looked around, and she still felt a pull, but saw nobody and it was clearly an area where she couldn't possibly be caught on everything. She decided to call for help, just to be on the safe side. She dropped the coconut to call.
"Hey Aaron, I may need some help over here!" she howled, clearly worried. She had never been so worried in her life and then she felt herself being dragged down. "Aaron! Help me!" she shrieked.
627 was quickly pulled out of the sand, and had to let go of the female's hind legs. The experiment figured that this tugging and biting simply meant the wolf was ready to do some fighting, but then he was forced into sitting down on his red rump. He listened to the black wolf's series of growls. Being just an animal however, the wolf's words could just hardly be made out to 627. However, the experiment, already full of primal understanding, could somewhat translate some of the wolf's growling into "play". "Heheh ..." He gurgled out a nasty laugh as the two canines left. Scavenger hunt?
627 was already a natural scavenger, usually eating dead animals. But he didn't mind eating live animals either. Anywho, he went out towards the beach to find a seagull egg. He fired a plasma bolt at a soaring white bird, knocking it clean out of the sky, and out of its feathers too. "Hahahaaa! Scavenge! Scavenge! Meega scavenging!" 627 crawled over to the dead, burnt seagull and it alive. "Hmm?" where was the seagull egg? Shouldn't seagulls leave behind an egg before they died? That's what chickens did in cartoons whenever they got scared!
Suddenly, 627's ears perked up at Rocaletta's howling. "Eeeevaaaaallll ..." The alien. on all fours, quickly sprinted towards the sound. He grew two extra arms to further strengthen himself, allowing a faster sprint. At last, he found Rocaletta, getting tugged on by something. "Evil! EVIIIL! Hahaha!" Instead of helping the dog, 627 simply jumped in the air and did his roaring. The experiment approached the female pup and poked her in the face, wondering what was going on.
Aaron heard a blast from the skies, and turned around, and looked up to see a seagull sailing down from the heavens. The red demon had killed it with some kind of gun. Oh well, at least he wasn't playing that sort of way with them!
Then, Aaron heard Rocaletta, and he turned his head towards her. It looked like she was being dragged, but by what? "Don't scr-" He was cut off by Rocaletta's shriek, and ran over to her to investigate.
The feeling he had as he approached her wasn't normal. It was like seeing a sign flashing before your eyes saying, danger. He sudden saw something odd. A pair of eyeballs floating? Aaron shook his head to shake it away. He must be dreaming, but they were still there.
"Okay, something's up." He mumbled, and walked over to it, but fell back as he hit something hard. "What the.." He jumped back to his feet, and bit at the invisible lizard. It was only then whenever it showed itself from lodgings, and showed that one sign on it's scales. Heartless.
Aaron barked furiously at it to lore it away from Rocaletta, and it worked. It let go of her, and Aaron barked, "Get out of here!" Before refocusing on the giant Heartless. Panic surged through him as he remember he had left his sword back in the cave..

Rocaletta didn't like the experiment poking her face at all. Didn't it see that she was in danger? She needed help! Not some thing poking at her! "Get away from me if you're not going to help," she barked while still trying to get away from whatever was pulling her.
She saw Aaron and could tell he was panicking. "Why is he like that...? This can't be good." She then saw that he didn't have his sword with him. Oh no, this can't be good. "Hey Aaron, do you think you can fight this thing without your sword? If not, then you have to run back to get it. I don't want to see you die in this battle, and I know running back to the cave is a big risk, but you at least have a better chance!" She suddenly realized that she was free and standing. "Well, Aaron, do you think we can take this thing?"
(Yeah, Rocaletta is implying something even though it's probably not the best time at all)
627 simply stood there with a blank face on, watching the invisible force attacking Rocaletta. He could smell something there, but couldn't tell where or even what it was supposed to be. He took few steps closer out of curiousity when Aaron started barking and snapping at it. Finally, it dropped the camouflage, and showed itself to be some kind of giant lizard. A heartless lizard. "Ooooooh .... Stupid heartless think he EVIL!" 627 pounced through the air, his black claws ready to shred the reptile apart.
The experiment slashed at the beast's arm, forcing a loud shriek of pain out of its beak-like mouth. The monster tried slamming its other arm into the red alien, but he was too slow. 627 grabbed the lizard's arm and started to spin that sucker around and around, much like what he did to Aaron earlier. Finally, he let go of the heartless's arm, sending it flying quite a ways back, into a palm tree that then split in half. "Hahahaaa!" The heartless slowly got up with a yellow glow in its eyes. IT then disappeared into its surroundings .... ready to strike.
Aaron watched as 627 took control of the beast. "I have a good feeling with him on our side." Aaron muttered to Rocaletta, and backed up a few steps as he saw the Heartless had disappeared. "Where is it?" He asked himself, and began whipping his head around in different directions frantically.
"Come out!" He barked, but the only thing he could see of a reply was glowing white eyes, and a ball of light below them forming it seemed. He knew exactly what was happening, and tackled Rocaletta down against the sand. "Mind my weight." He muttered lowly, and then felt the force of the ball being released. He felt it barely graze against his ears, and then stood back up.
Whenever he did get back to his feet, he know saw the lizard had shown himself once more, and was sending a frog-like tongue at the experiment. Aaron ran towards the devil, grabbed him by the scruff, and threw him out of the way. When he noticed the attack was now flying right towards him, he threw himself at the ground, and then rolled over, and bounced back up.

"Erm...what exactly is goi- Oof!" Rocaletta was cut off as Aaron tackled her. "What the heck? Aaron, what exactly is going on? I'm kind of confused. Do you have any ideas? And since when is that thing on our side?" She knew she was asking a lot of questions, but she had to know. This was going to be a long battle. She could feel it.
(Yeah, it's a really short response, I realize that. Sorry.)
"Oof!" 627 was suddenly flung over to a tree. He got up, rubbing his head, and then shaking his fur to get rid of the dust. "Grrrrr .... Oh?" He realized it was the big black wolf that flung 627 aside, saving the experiment's life. He stood still, boredly watching the fight. Aaron just narrowly escaped the approaching tongue of the invisible lizard. As the tongue then made its way to the red alien, he grabbed it! "Haha!" Snatched it up like it were some big piece of taffy! His jaws suddenly popped out of his mouth, connected to it just by a serpentine-like limb, and clamped onto the heartless's tongue.
"HA ... heheheh. Evil!" 627 began spinning the heartless around by its tongue, smashing it into any trees that were nearby. His jaws finally let go of the tongue, and retracted back into his mouth. The heartless, its camouflage gone, was flung through the air. The lizard was expected to land on Rocaletta ..... "HooHOO! EVIL!!!"
