In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Aaron held is head down low and he crossed the beach. Gentle waves lapped at his paws, and the sound of seagulls filled the air. As he ran his sword hit his side with every step making a clanking noise as it did so. His red eyes focused on the ground as he ran, his tail hanged low, and his ears remained flat against his head.
Moments later, after he had crossed the sand, he approached a tree for some shade. He lied himself down in the shadow of the giant, and tucked his muzzle into his fur. He kept his eyes opened however, just in case something was coming towards him.
Beside him a coconut lied, he did not yet know of this fruit, and after noticing it lifted up his head, and jumped up. He wasn't sure what it was exactly. It could have been a predator out to get him for all he knew! He backed up a few steps, and watched it. The food didn't move however. Curiously the wolf circled the new creature, and when the time was right he moved in closer to see if it would try to lash out at him. Still the strange thing did not move.
Aaron suddenly flinch as he heard yelling from behind him. He turned around, no longer aware of the coconut, and saw two children playing by an identical tree. One of them reached down and picked up a fallen coconut! Aaron continued watching. How could those young pups be so sure of it? What if it tried to bite them? The kid held onto the coconut before finding a rock, and when he did the pup smashed it against that rock. Then, he lifted up the creature, and drank it's brains! Aaron blinked, and turned back around to his creature.
The young pups seemed to show theirs who was boss, so maybe he should do the same..He approached the coconut, and grabbed it in his jaws. It was quite a mouthful alright, he could barely keep his mouth around the whole thing, and for some strange reason it didn't dare fight back. Maybe it was playing dead..
Aaron dropped the coconut, and lied down in front of it. He pressed his nose against it, and stared at it for a long time before finally he got bored of the monster, and walked out from under the tree.
He started to approach another strange item a little ways away. It looked like a basket made of straw, or twigs, and inside of it, an oval-shaped thing with blue spots on it was broken.
Aaron, after reaching the nest, and egg looked up at the nearest tree. A seagull was perched up there staring down at him. His ears twitched towards the sound of laughter behind him. Probably the young pups, but why were they laughing? He looked back down at the broken egg, and sniffed it. He heard an angry squawk from the tree above him, and then felt something tear at his fur. Alarmed the wolf jumped, and looked around. The stupid bird was trying to attack him!
Aaron started looking up, searching the sky's for the seagull, but kept on feeling it hit him on opposite sides each time. He sneezed, and started running towards his tree again, his tail was tucked beneath his legs.
When he got towards his tree, he ran under it, and stood there still very alarmed. The bird had stopped having it's fun, and had finally left the wolf alone. Aaron yawned, and lied down again, but he kept his head up to keep watch.

Meanwhile, Rocaletta was on the other side of the beach and watched as a coconut fell from a tree not far away. She knew a lot about this strange fruit and enjoyed them greatly. The bold dog started walking up to it when a stick hit her. She growled and looked around at where the stick came from and saw a human looking rather proud of themselves.
"Why do they get such a joy out of torturing me?" she wondered as she stared. She looked at the coconut one more time and then retreated, now wishing to go onto the other side. She could sense a canine being somewhere, and she had a good feeling about this it. Maybe, just maybe, she could trust, really trust whoever she ran into. Maybe this being could be the one that she could trust with her life, and not have this one turn on her just like all the others have before...
Aaron's head shot up as he sensed another animal was approaching. Supposedly a canine. He took a quick glance around the area and then saw another animal running towards him. He stood up, and shook his fur, then just watched for a long period of time.
After enough waiting the massive black dog finally decided to say something. After figuring out this other animal was a dog perhaps they could communicate with one another, but he couldn't be too sure.
"State your name." He barked calmly as the dog got closer. His ears faced forward from his head in curiosity, and suspension. He didn't suspect that this mutt was any threat, but just in case he was ready for any certain battle.
He waited for any reply from the dog. A growl, a sign, or something that could give him a good idea if she was friend or foe.
His red gaze watched her, he felt powerful for some reason. He felt tall from where he stood, like he could easily squash this little domesticated pet. He chose not to however. He wasn't really that demon everyone had made him out to be.
Aaron would never kill unless it was necessary; and hey, to him it felt good to let go of fighting for a little while, or at least until he found away off of this paradise land.

Rocaletta could since that this canine was ready to fight just in case. She would have to make sure that the wrong image didn't come across to him like it has to so many other beings that she had killed because they started a fight from a simple misunderstanding. She didn't want to kill, she was just stronger than she often realized. She decided to advance towards him, cautiously.
"My name is Rocaletta," she barked softly, almost a whisper. She wanted to make sure that another pointless mistake wasn't made. "I do not wish to fight." She could feel a sore spot where she was hit in the head earlier. Besides, even if she wanted to fight, she didn't think she had the energy. She was beginning to feel weak. She wasn't sure how much more energy she had, how much longer she could keep going.
"I have more energy, I have more energy..." She kept thinking that over and over until she couldn't even think anymore and could barely keep her strength up to walk. "Help..." she whispered as she faintly fell to the ground.
Aaron's ears went back, as she advanced towards him. He was no longer the only one trying to be cautious, she was as well. He took a few steps back into the shade of the tree again, and watched her every step. Many times had he been fooled, and he wouldn't allow it to happen any longer. The dog said her name was Rocaletta in a very soft woof. Aaron felt relieved by her tone of bark, she didn't sound as a threat to him, but even though he was sure there would be no battle, he couldn't let his guard down.
He sat down, and lied his tails over his paws. He tilted his head to the side slightly, and looked at her. Soon enough, she had added one more thing, that she didn't want to fight him. Aaron examined her more closely. She looked weak as if she was about to collapse any minute or second.
Her legs got wobbly, and she staggered a bit as she tried to approached closer until she eventually fell to the ground. Broken. Aaron stood back up, and walked over to her. He looked down at her as if he was thinking rather to reconsider helping her or not. He lowered his head close to her ears, and whispered, "Can I trust you?" It came out more as a hiss, and more as a threat then it was needed to be, and Aaron realized this after he had said it.
He lifted his head back up, and gently grabbed Rocaletta by her scruff. He started to pull her back into the shade slowly by tugging her, and when she was fully in it he let go of her neck fur. He sat down beside her, and looked down at her. "My name...is Aaron." He said hesitantly showing no pacific emotion, just utter calmness.

Rocaletta felt very faint and heard soft paws coming towards her. Was it soft because she couldn't hear? Or because this canine really meant to be kind and help her out? He had asked if he could trust her. Did it really look like she could defend herself? She could sense that she could trust him, better than she had trusted anybody before. Maybe, just maybe...
Soon, she felt a soft pull by her neck. She whined a little in surprise, but didn't have the strength to protest. Soon, he let go. He said his name is Aaron. She couldn't tell if he could be trusted or not from that tone of voice. He sounded so...calm. She had a good feeling about him, but wasn't quite sure. She would just have to take that chance...
"Aaron..." she whispered, feeling a little stronger from reassurance. "I...I need help... I don't know how much longer I can survive. I feel...weak... I can't walk, at all..." And with that, she blacked out.
"Evil! Evil!" cried out a little red monster. 627 laughed as he jumped in and out of the ocean water, splashing at and scaring away some nearby humans. "Gwahahahahaaaa! Evil!" The experiment was having some fun causing mayhem in this kind of environment. It was quite similair to the easily destroyed paradise of Hawaii ..... With one swoop of his claws, the red beast splashed an entire small wave at some tanning humans. They yelled at him, telling the animal to back off, but 627 was never one to care too much about what others told him.
"Haha!" He quickly crawled out of the water on all fours. As soon as he was away from the splash of the ocean, he shook his red fur until it dried out (Yes, an experiment's fur can dry out quickly). "Hmm?" His gumball nose sort of jumped at a new scent ..... it was very canine ..... a dog .... The red monster squinted his black eyes, but still kept his sinister smile. He followed the scent trail, his nose bulging with each sniff. Until suddenly, his head bonked into a coconut tree, causing a few coconuts to fall around two dogs.
"Heheh .... EVIL!" After rubbing his head, 627 jumped out to, rather menacingly, greet the animals. He continued to sniff them however, before letting them do anything. One was a black furred male, sitting next to a fallen gold female .....

Aaron stared down at Rocaletta as she blacked out. Still remaining calm, he lifted his head up and scanned the area for any person, or another animal that could possibly help her. Instead of coming across what he would have most likely expected he saw a little red monster crawling around the area. He snorted, and watched as it kept on yelling. Each shout made him flinch. He wasn't used to this much racket, let alone from such a hyper, and small little animal. Well, if you could even called it an animal.
The little red thing was acting so destructive, it scaring away all the tourists, and hosts! Now it was even headed towards them. The stupid thing ran his face into a coconut tree and made them fall around Aaron and Rocaletta. At first, this frightened him, he new it was going to happen..but still so unsuspecting..
It appeared as if the thing was trying to greet them by sniffing at them. Aaron lifted up one paw and kind of shrugged away with his ears back. He then stood up, and barked at it before clutching his trusty sword in his jaws, and lashing it out at the beast. It was just an attempt to scare it, not actually harm it..well, not yet anyways. Just as it was suppose to the sword missed, but got pretty near to the creature.

Rocaletta woke up and stirred slightly. She was confused. How did the coconuts fallen suddenly? They weren't there when she had blacked out... And what was that strange disturbance? She felt a threat. A major threat. From what? She didn't know. All she knew was, it couldn't be from Aaron. No, it came from higher up than where he was standing.
"Aaron..." She whispered, her voice barely able to come out. She tried to get up, but discovered she still couldn't. "Aaron, what's going on?" She had no idea what was going on at all, but she had the feeling that they needed to get out of there. And fast.
627 watched as the black wolf's sword sliced through the air. Rather than scaring off the beast however, it simply caught his full interest. "Ooooooooh ...." He greedily stole the sword, quickly prying it out of the wolf's canines and then examined it with a drooling smile on his face. What he saw was a distorted, red creature, his own reflection, on the sword's blade. What a handsome devil it was.
627 began to swipe the sword around randomly, trying to catch the mood of a viscious warrior. The greatest warrior, most evil warrior to enter life itself ..... but as soon as the female dog whimpered, the red experiment lost all care for the blade and tossed it straight into the coconut tree. His simple mind caught its next interest. 627 loomed over Rocaletta and began sniffing the dog's face. Unsure of what it was she was doing. "Evil!" He once again told the dogs with a smile.

Aaron watched as the creature gave all his interest towards the sword. It didn't ever make him flinch! The red beast grabbed onto it, and tugged on it to free it from the wolf's tight grip. Aaron tugged back till the devil pried it lose from his jaws. The odd creature looked at his reflection, and then after Rocaletta whimpered he lost full attention of it, and threw it into the trunk of a coconut tree.
Aaron snorted, and looked back at 672 as he loomed over Rocaletta. He stepped closer to the beast, and shoved him away with a paw, then he let out a vicious snarl. Aaron lowered his head towards Rocaletta's ears, and muttered, "I'm not sure..this animal all of a sudden approached.. what do you think it is?" By the looks of the uh...thing it wasn't going to be much of a threat, still he wouldn't lower his guard, if he didn't know what it was, he wouldn't trust it.

Rocaletta looked up at Aaron as he shoved the strange creature away. "I... have no idea." She was stunned that she couldn't identify it. Usually she could just by her senses. Was it because she was weak? Maybe, but she couldn't be sure. She tried to stand up again. She felt like she had to defend herself against this strange creature. She fell to the ground again with a plop. "Still to weak apparently..." she muttered to herself.
"Aaron... Aaron, I think we need to get out of here," she whispered. "This creature is dangerous. I can sense it. I can't identify it. Usually I can. And my senses are never wrong when it comes to whether or not we can trust creatures. You have to believe me. We have to get out of here."
627 gave a dark grimace to the wolf as it tried pushing him away from the female. What odd behaviour. Was this golden dog supposed to be the wolf's mate or something? The thought of protecting anyone made the little gremlin chuckle. "Grrrr ..... Evil! Evil! Evil Evil!" 627's ears curled as he pointed and laughed at the wolf, but they immediatley perked back up at the female's whimpering. "Hmm?" The experiment was wondering what was going on. Why won't these mutts make themselves useful and do something FUN?! "EVIL!" 627 grabbed the black wolf and gave him a noogie .....
Aaron looked down at Rocaletta. Apparently she was still very weak, and had no clue about this red creature. He watched as she fell down, and listened whenever she had said something more. He then turned back towards the animal, and watched as it grimaced at him, and then chuckled. The thing kept on repeated "Evil! Evil! Evil!" Was that the only language it knew?
Aaron watched as it's strange ears curled evilly, and it pointed at him. Whenever Rocaletta had whimpered it changed it's position completely, and made a noise as if it didn't quite understand.
It repeated another "Evil" only louder, and then grabbed the black wolf around the neck, and rubbed his fist against Aaron's head. Aaron immediately tried to jerk free, and when he did he snarled at the creature.
"I hear you Rocaletta, but lets just stay here a little longer.. I need to know what this thing is, and if it's something life threatening, I'll destroy it." He muttered.

"Life threatening..." These words troubled Rocaletta greatly. She saw the red creature grab Aaron by the neck. She definitely didn't like that, and was relieved when he was able to break free. If she hadn't had been so week, she would've destroyed that creature right then and there.
She kept thinking about what Aaron had said. She definitely didn't like the words life threatening. What if he got hurt in the fight? She didn't want to see that. As the first real friend she's ever had, that would be the worst thing ever. She started whimpering again. "Aaron, are you sure you could destroy this creature if you have to? I mean, what if it's stronger than it looks? I don't want to see you get hurt. I...I wouldn't be able to stand seeing that."
