In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Seth stepped out of the portal of darkness his blue hair going down his shoulders and forming the frame of part of his face. The expression written across it was serious and in no way heart warming or caring as the ice elemental Aquaius normally was. His meeting with Seed had been un-pleasant and the coldness drifting from him had managed to freeze the moisture in the air surrounding him letting off a cold mist that disappeared as soon as it drifted away from him.
He felt alone in this world, as if he didn't belong. His eyes traced over the area noting all the large buildings and darkened streets. He took a few steps trying to get a wider view of where he was the revolver on his side swung slightly while the combat knife remained stationary in it's sheath. Seed called this The World That Never Was, what exactly did that mean? It implied a non-existence yet it obviously did exist, quite the paradox it provided for him.
The teen watched the newcomer with resentment. How could he? Damnit! Elaeus had given Sin strict orders to destroy any outsiders that didn't belong. Now, this fellow was looking around as though he didn't know where the hell he was. It was like his boss saw his every move, even the ones he hadn't taken yet.
The mako-eyed warrior sighed slightly and walked out of the shadows, still a ways from the outsider. His soul of Fire was quite obvious as the area around them began to warm. He loosened his blue jacket, his long brown hair falling in front of his luminescent eyes. Sin stared at the newcomer and sighed again.
"You really don't belong in a World of Nothing. This place is only meant for those who have lost all reason to exist..." He threw his jacket off, revealing his right arm, which held multiple metal plates within. They shined dully in the light. "Why did you come here?" There was almost sorrow in his voice as the teen stepped into stance, his jacket falling slowly to the ground. "Go home now..." There were no questions. This stranger could only say one thing... And Sin just couldn't imagine that this normal human had anything good to do with the Dark XII.
(WHOA! Calm down mahn. This is a continuing thread from Twilight Town. I brought him here.)
"Well that's not a very good warm hello Sin now is it?" Seed mocked as he emerged from a portal behind Seth and quickly moved in front of him to shield him from any form of projectile that Sin may have fired. Seed did not like Sin very much, a human(oid) in denial of his true purpose in the world does not deserve to even be a part of it and Seed is going to make this human learn that the hard way. The green haired Heartless ran his hands through his hair as he let out a chuckle and moved closer to Sin and began to pick him apart.
"Ya know, Elaeus would be very disappointed to see you turning your sword to an ally and a maybe future friend. Wouldn't want him to tighten that shackle now would ya? Think, turning on your superior. That's treason is it not? And then next we know your head is rolling on the floor..." Seed let the last sentence hang in the air as he gave an ominous tap on Sins shoulder and went back to Seth. He had to teach much to the Human to get him ready for the war and his personal minion was very ignorant of said war. But a few lectures and fights would set that right.
"So Sin, unless you want to educate this fine young man here on the Nobodies and our enemies. I'd advise you to leave," Seed warned as he turned his head to Sin and gave a wicked smile but after a few seconds he turned back to Seth and asked him a question, "So, which would rather learn first? Why we are fighting the Nobodies or how they came to be?"
Even had been doing practically nothing. He was so damn bored. Normally, he wasn't bored when no assignments were haded to him, for he had plenty of experiments he could do. But today was different, and he had no idea why. So, when he sensed the presence of a human in the castle, he portaled to the hall leading to him, and was able to hear the last part of Seed's comment, right before his question to said human.
"So, which would rather learn first? Why we are fighting the Nobodies or how they came to be?"
Even walked over behind Seed, and tapped him on the shoulder saying, "I could probably answer that better than you could any day. But before I help you, why is there a...human in our castle Seed? You know whose head could be rolling if someone found out about it."
He had no need to explain further whom he was refering to. Seed knew who was in charge in this castle, and although Elaeus sometimes seemed like he was in charge, he wasn't.

Seth looked at the man who approached him his eyes narrowing as he examined him. He listened to the man but wasn't really hearing him. "A power of flame, different from my kind or a magician, interesting..." Seth spoke quietly a curious smile spread across his face. Seed had then come from behind before getting in front of him and starting to speak to the young man, backing up his words with quite the threat. That said and done he turned his attention to him asking a simple question and once again giving him a choice.
The question pertained to Nobodies and soon as that was said Seth started to question the name. Nobody was just another word meaning nothing which would explain non-existence though much like this world name implied it they did exist, so confusing. As he opened his mouth to speak another person intruded though this one was very different from the fire user. He barely had to focus on the man to find the bone-chilling aura the man let off and though it wasn't an elementals ice it had an equal or even more powerful force behind it, a master of ice, a first for him.
Another boast, these people were quick to make such claims, it was either ignorance or confidence. "If I may have a word before a possible argument starts. One, do not refer to me as a human, my name is Seth and I am only like them in anatomy, and even that would be in-correct. Second, I'd like Seed to answer my question, if he misses anything, then please fill in the blanks. Now Seed, I'd like to know their origin first of all, so please explain." Seth spoke calmly not wanting to have some internal dispute as soon as he arrived.

Sin grimaced as Seed made his way through the portal. Seed gave him the small lecture and Sin rolled his eyes. His shackle? The boy rubbed the skin under the thick iron shackle that held to his left arm. The single chain clinked with extra vigor as Seed drew near, and Sin shrugged.
"I'm supposed to protect this place. You never know, Seed." His blue eyes glowed eerily as he watched them. "And I do believe that Even is right. This is no place for humans, even if they are on our side. I've heard many stories about them dying due to both the Darkness and the Nothing that roams free in the streets of this Anti-World. So you might only end up damaging your so-called friend." Seed was odd. Sin neither disliked him or liked him, but the man didn't seem right. He just had this taste of insanity that lingered wherever he went.
It was unnecessary, in Sin's opinion. Insanity seemed so pointless. The chaos that these people believed in was so undirected, so free. If anything, they could focus it on something productive. Yet, they were Heartless... So, Sin could understand if control wasn't really their forte.
And he would have never guessed. This human did have affiliations with the Darkness. Thanks to Seed. That chaos once again had thrown a human who could have served a better purpose into a path of death and sorrow. Sin sighed as he grabbed his jacket and refitted it upon his shoulders. He walked towards Even and nearer to him. Sin didn't trust Even, but he distrusted Seed even more. It would be better for him to pick the more sane allies.
Seed was just about the open his mouth to continue on without Seth's consent but a familiar voice rang out from behind him. That cold tone, the chilly aura about the room. It was no doubt Even of the XII. What could that slimy eel want with his prize? And there he went again with trying to say Seed was out of his line.
With a disdainful look on his face, Seed swiped Even's hand off his should and turned slightly around and said with much spite in his voice, "Do not think I answer to you Even. I was hired by Elaeus and helped this group when it was only Relena, myself and Elaeus when the headmaster was away. So I do not answer to you or anyone else save for Elaeus and the Headmaster. And besides, I don't interrupt you during your missions do I? Now if you'll excuse me." Seed turned back around and basically ignored what Sin had said to him. Seed didn't care much for anymore intrusions right now and the two here were already pushing their luck. Be Even and member of the XII or not, if he impedes this mission he will be bruised.
But Seth was getting higher and higher on the "Seeds smart people" list with his blatant offer to Even. So with a turn of his head and sticking out his tongue like a small child to Even he directed his attention to Seth. But where to begin? Seed had poured through book over book about the Nobodies in Elaeus' study while he watched over Mavericks coffin. He knew that they were created when a person with a strong heart succumbs to the darkness and they only wish to be whole again no matter the cost. But that is pretty much it, save for some detail he came across on a secret research project in Radiant Garden some time ago. But that is not important right now.
"I assume it is safe to say you already know how Heartless are formed? If not a little refresher might do someone else here a little good too. When a person submits themselves to the darkness by choice or not, they lose their heart and it is either consumed entirely or can become the beings known as the Heartless. Now, a humanoid form of Heartless is exceedingly rare and as far as I know only a handful are left. Enough about that," Seed finally finished saying as he ran his hands through his hair once more. He didn't even look back to see if Even was making gestures to disagree with him, even if Seed did get a few facts mixed up that should be no big deal. So Seed walked behind Seth and reached into his pocket and pulled out a jar with a black cloth draped over it to hid its contents. Now Sin over there should easily be able to sense it, it was a Heart. Seed felt it necessary to carry one around with him. For reason only he will know.
He tossed the jar in the air a couple times and continued with his explanation, "The empty shell left behind when a person becomes a Heartless begins to act on its own. Either as a humanoid form or otherwise. Their goal is simple, to be whole again no matter the cost. They will destroy everything just to get their hearts back, but here is the catch. With humanoid Nobodies there are the opposite humanoid Heartless. So you may see Even over there. But he goes by Vexen in another part of town." Seed finished as the jar was tossed up in the air again. Now to play the waiting game.
"Just because you are Eleasus's pet doesn't mean anything to me. I still outrank you." Then Even stopped talking because he saw that Seed wasn't even listening anymore.
Even listened to Seed tell his explanation about how Nobodies are made. No use correcting anything that he says... Even thought to himself.
((Meh, very crappy post...sorry for the wait on that...no muse + not knowing what to say sucks.))

Seth kep silent as Seed explained with no interference from the man known as Even. He seemed to have a rather glazed over look as if oblivious but to all that Seed was saying. "I actually hadn't known that much about the heartless either. To me you seem perfectly human..." Seth spoke quietly taking in this new piece of info.
Listening again he seemed to adopt the glazed over look once more. So a Nobody sought to regain its heart? He found the idea rather odd, as always the term heart always brought out his thoughts on anatomy, not on some sort of soul or something. He had much to learn about the universe, but he had time. "So Even had a strong enough to bring about a Nobody? Then tell me this Seed, is it possible that since you have taken human form, you also have a Nobody counterpart?" The whole idea seemed very odd to him, to split into two different beings. It wasn't like him with his 3 other sides because they all shared the same body but somewhat similar. "Well Seed, I seem to understand it vaguely, I'd rather not know more because the whole idea of it seems rather insane. So now I just need to know why you are fighting them? Because if a Nobody wants a heart does it want it's original or simply one that works for it? And if they did want the original I could understand why you guys are fighting them but not if it doesn't matter." This was quite the mystery to Seth, it was all very confusing.
Sin smiled. This kid had jumped into a territory he knew nothing about. Putting a hand to his temple, he sighed. "Nobodies fight them because Heartless are Hearts without a body." He rose his right arm into the air, showing the skin. "They don't have a physical body, so they rely on Darkness to build a false one. Think about it this way:
Nobodies have a body, but no Heart. Heartless have a Heart, but no body.
The names are oxymorons given by the incompetent."
He lowered his arm and folded them over his chest. His blue eyes followed the newcomer, wondering if this kid knew what he was in for.
