In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

(ooc: this is the continuation thread for " a new area, with new people" in the second district)
The hospital in the First District was busier then normal this night. A lot of heartless had appeared and were terrorising the town. Causing many wounded to be brought in. A little outside the emergency entrance, on the street. A golden shine started to form. On the ground, a small square of energy appeared. Beeing the size of a paper map.
And from this portal, a figure appeared. First it was small but it grew to humanlike proportions in a mere second. An unconsious Saffron appeared. She was wounded to her head as a small stream of blood was still dripping from it. Mere moments later another figured appeared in the same way. The short and old Chinzo also got spitted out by the golden portal. And exactly like Saffron, he was unconsious. The two lay there on the cold street with nobody noticing them.
After a little pauze, another figure appeared. But he seemed to be jumping out of the crackling mass of energy. Landing on his strider boots and his cane the elderly man righted his back and looked rather pleased with himself. Inmediatly afterwards the travel route they used dispersed and vanished. The man in the buttoned up long trenchcoat and wearing a lot of bags looked down on the two knocked out person and then his smile dissapeared. "Oh... well this is unfortunate."
Luckely the trio was now noticed by somebody at the hospital and a nurse came running out. Seeing two people laying on the ground she asked: "Are you alright? Do they need help?" The elder man just rolled his eyes and cynicly answered: "Well how should I know? I'M not a doctor."
Saffron and Chinzo were then quickly taken inside the hospital where they were laid on beds and treated for their wounds and injuries.

Chinzo's glowing eyes opened up to see a couple of doctors and nurses working on him. He could feel a cool salve on his left arm, probably over a cut, and warm towel on his head. He also saw glowing green lights appear over him, sprinkle a light golden dust, and then dissipate before his eyes. Cure, probably.
A cold glass vial was pushed up to his lips and a goopy liquid poured through. A healing potion, probably.
"Ugh...Cura." Chinzo managed to grunt, and he pushed the last bit of mana he had into the air and healed his more serious cuts for himself. The nurses gasped when they noticed that he was awake.
"Oh, you're alive!" One older lady cried out, jumping up and clapping her hands.
"He was always alive, Jenny," An older man said back, and he cast a short, weak cure over a big bruise, lightening the color and making it smaller.
"Oh, shut it George, I always worry!" the lady said with a chuckle while she cast a slightly more powerful cure on a cluster of red scratches, healing them up.
Chinzo's head ached from the battle and he didn't feel like polite conversation or an elaborate entrance, odd as that may seem. He just sank back into the music into his head - and his soft pillow.

It took Saffron about an hour to regain her conciousness. She opened her eyes and looked around.. why in the world was she in a hospital? She sat up and tired to remember what had happened, it was very unlike her to forget these things.. She leaned forward to place her elbow into herleg so she could lean on it. when she placed her head on her hand.. she felt a bandage. "Wh-what?" she said alowed. She sat confusedly for a molment, But then remembered. Thinking about What had happened with the green haired person.. thing, the maid girl, Chinzo.. amd the man she never really got his name..Where where they now? And, why was she here? She made a fist in her frusteration, being here in the hospital must have ment that the group had lost agianst the green hair person, this made her angrey. But she quickly tried to calm herself, being angrey at the past would not help anything. So she layed back down and simply stared at the ceiling, what else could she do? she didn't want to have to deal with nagging hospital people if she tried to get up, so it'd be better just to chill and wait.
The door to Saffron's room opened up as the elder unknown man entered. Holding a get-well basket with fruit in his one hand. They were sold at the entrance for convience sake. His face lighted up, smiling greatly to see her awake. Showing many laughing wrinkles around the corners of his eyes. But his eyes shone with an intensity and energy of a sportsman.
"Aah, good to see you back in the land of the living, dear Misses Saffron. I do hope you feel well." He stepped forward, his cane still firmly in his other hand. As he placed the fruitbasket on the cabinet next to her bed. The elderly wanderer then pulled a chair closer that was present in the room and took a seat onto it. Sitting next to Saffron at her bed. Hands both resting on top of his cane as the man continued: "Chinzo is here as well, in case you were wondering. All thanks to you for saving him. But the doctors are still treating him. The old bugger was in a bloody worse shape then you. Not that you don't need to rest aswel."
The man sat in his chair and paused. His eyes rolled in his sockets as it was clear he didn't know what else to say anymore. Tapping with his hand on his other one. Then he seemed to have a thought as he suddenly reached with his hand into his sidebag and said while searching: "Oh that reminds me, since you lost the one I gave you..." And he pulled out another copy of his maps of Traverse Town. "...here, to get you started again. Don't worry about accepting it, i got thousands of those." He then became silent again as he looked at Saffron.
"I hope they escaped from that place as I told them"
Yumiko said while attending to the man found injured in the second district. Due the other medics were busy, she had to attend him by herself and abandon her intentions of returning back to the scene of the battle to help those two elder men and the young girl.
"Done, now be a good patient and wait here, I have something else to do."
After patching up the patient she was getting ready to return to the second district to see if the people she met before were OK and maybe deal with the jerk who wanted to cause them harm, but the commotion about some people who came out of some sort of portal and were currently being attended captured her curiosity. She went to see what was going on and saw Chinzo being attended by a few medics and nurses.
"Chinzo? ... why there's so many medics and nurses threating him?"
Apparently some elder members decided to teach some of the more inexperienced new medics and nurses how to treat minor wounds using him as example. And It was good that was the case, because otherwise it would be a terrible waste of resources to have many staff members attending such minor wounds.
After a little chat with the veteran male medic, she convinced him and his students to let her stay with this man for she knew him and instead continue the lessons with the man she rescued from the second district, then she talked with Chinzo.
"So .. what happened there? You should've left the second district when I told you to escape."

Chinzo managed to crack open a smile and his eyes opened up to reveal a glowing, milky light.
"That guy we were fighting... I hit him with a spell, and then he told me that only one thing could fully destroy them..."
He winced a bit and coughed. His throat was dry.
"Kind of defeats the purpose of fighting him, eh? Makes everything against them seem kind of useless, just to delay the inevitable. I really wish I knew what that special weapon was so that I could..." he coughed again, and a vial of water was brought to his lips and it poured through his dry throat, cooling and softening it.
"Thank you, nurse. Anyhow, I wish I knew what that special weapon was so that I could get it. Then I'd have my revenge." His eyes flashed rainbow colors for a moment and mana sparkles puffed out of his body. The memories... That Seed would pay. He'd pay good.

Hearing the door open, Saffron took her eyes away from the ceiling, to see who was coming in.
She was very pleased to see it was the same man that had helped her before. She rolled over onto her side, propped up onto her elbow when he sat next to her. "I feel alright. my whole body is acheing, but alright." she said with a smile. "Not the best idea in the world to work yourself till you, apperenly, pass out." She paused for a molment then spoke agian. "As for Chinzo... that good? I guess." She wondered how one was suposed to respond to that, it was good he was being treated... but bad that it happened in the first place...
Then Saffron started to examine her hair, with lack of a better subject. A large portion of the light blond hair on her right side was now blood stained red. She looked frusteratedly at it " This is going to take forever to get out" she mumbled. then looked back at the man, she must sound so silly careing so much about her hair.
"Hey... Whats your name by the way?" She asked him curiously.
At her final question, the man sperred his eyes wide open and looked surprised. His forehead wrinkled up as he gave her a disbelieving glance. And then exclaimed: "What? You don't know?... Oh dear, it does seem I have neglected to properly introduce myself. But then again, nobody has asked untill now. Well then, my name is Mercator. How nice to make your acquintance."
With those words, Mercator stood up from his chair and made a excessive bow before the bed of Saffron. Grinning like an idiot as he was making a funny farce out of it. Trying to cheer her up and lightend her mood. He took his seat again and sat down next to her.
Glancing over at the fruitbasket he picked out a small bundle of grapes and started to eat them. The pits he tried to spit out into the garbage bin next to the door from his position. Although most landed next to the trashcan. During grapes he turned to Saffron again and asked on a more serious and calmer tone: "But as I was inquering earlier before beeing so rudely interrupted by the Heartless. I do have great interrest in your homeworld where you are from. "
"Take it easy. Maybe you should refrain yourself from fighting if you ended in this poor state"
In her mind the enemy was far from invincible, it's just that none of the present people other than her were the proper rival for that arrogant green haired man. Had she stayed in the district, she thought she could've defeated that enemy of justice with her powerful sure kill attack.
"You rely too much in ether and mana potions. Having a drug overdose can have consequences"
Said that, she sit down near the exhausted Chinzo and wondered if she should go back to the second district to deal with that villain before he continued causing harm to others ... but maybe he could've left as well. After all he seemed to be there just by coincidence and probably had something else in mind when appeared.

Chinzo simply shrugged. "My species is used to it, we have a natural resistance to diseases, and a natural need for magic. It's normal for us."
He then settled into his bed again and yawned. "Excuse me. I feel like an idiot now. You seem like you could've taken down all those Heartless and their commander easily. I just got in the way, didn't I?"

Saffron couldn't help but laugh a little. "Well then, Mercator, you are quite rediculous!." she said with a smile.
"As for where I am from.. its not all the impressive. I come from a middle sized town named Toya City. There isn't really that much to say about it, except that there is a lot of crime, but maybe thats just me. My dad was the police chief after all." She paused for a molment to try to pick out more words.
"Also, I was pretty well known, especially by anyone in charge of anything. Which is why I left. I wanted somthing new and exciting! not everytime I turned a corner some on to say 'Hey Saffi, whats up?' it got annoying." She paused agian. When ever she thought about her home, she always thought of herself as her nickname, she got it from her dad, and then it spread through out the town from the police force. "And I don't really know what else to say... spesific questions might help. if your still curious.." She said sort of embarassedly.
Mercator halted with eating grapes and frowned his eyebrows high up. His forehead wrinkled severly again as his eyes blinked with recognistion. "Ah, Toya City you say. Now that's something I can work with."
He opened his trenchcoat and revealed several shoulderbags and inner pockets bulking out with papers and other items. Also showing a white shirt with golden ornaments and linings. His fingers were fiddling and digging through the pile of parchements he carried around. The sound of rustling paper filled the room as he finaly pulled out another map and showed it to Saffron. "Is this your home?" He asked as he showed a city map of Toya City. The Toya City were Saffron grew up in. She should recognised the map, as it was the standard roadmap of the city. There was a big one in her fathers policestation.
As Mercator showed the map he reminised and told: "I remember some hoodlums trying to mug me when I was visiting your world. I didn't stay long. But now that I remember wich world this city is on..." Mercator pulled out a large starmap and rolled it out over Saffron's hospitalbed. Keeping his hands at the side to prevent the large scroll from rolling itself up again. With scouting eyes he glanced carefully over the map. There were nearly thousands of dots with very fine and tiny writings near each. The star map was from the night sky at Traverse Town. For Traverse Town was the only place where all stars could be seen at the same time. Because of it's unique location, right at the borderline with the realm of darkness. This also explains why strong hearts that survived their worlds destruction mostly end up here. It was at the bottom of the cosmic wirlhpool. The galaxies trashcan so to speak.
Finaly he said: "Ah! There it is... so the location should be..." The old pilgrim looked out the window and smiled. "Such luck, we should see it from here. Your world, misses Saffron... is right...there!" And he pointed towards the window. Straight at a specific star that was shining very faintly. It was hard to see, and could easily be missed if Mercator wasn't so obviously pointing at it.
He sighed in relief as the wanderer started to roll up his maps and said calmly: "Your in luck, your world still exist. You see, every star at the night sky is in fact a different world. But the Heartless, the creatures that we saw earlier. They sometimes end up destroying these worlds. Most unfortunate... requires me to update my maps constantly. A terrible lot of work, I must say."
"Actually ... yes, I would've been able to fend off the green haired heartless leader, he seemed to be a martial artist and I know very well when somebody has great fighting potential."
Poor Chinzo, he was not a young man anymore and he shouldn't try to pull heroic acts of bravery unless he either had a plan or kept in good shape his body, and his current state of weakness was the result of rushing against an opponent who was leagues above his level.
"But despite that, you fought bravely. A true spirit living only to bring justice is the most powerful force in the universe! As long you gave your 110% in battle, you can be happy that you did everything you could do without regrets!"
He attacked the wrong opponent, but if there was something that the heroic medic valued a lot, was a strong willpower and a heart full with justice and courage.
"By the way, what happened to the other two that were with you? Did they escape from the second district too?"

Chinzo smiled at the compliments. "Perhaps... But I could barely hurt the thing, killing it would be a whole different story. And no one can kill it without that special weapon! Ah, well." Then the girl's question came. "Probably. I have no idea how I got here in the first place, I blacked out as soon as I heard about that special weapon thing." He absently looked out at the window and up at the stars. The bright lights standing against the darkness, all in vain - when would the Heartless truly be destroyed?

Saffron was in compleate shock.. he not only had heard of her town... but had a very acurate map of it. "aww really!? sorry I didn't come to help!" she said in responce to hearing people tried to mug him. " Smaller crimes is usually what i got involved in, that or anything that had to do with people running around, cause i was faster than most of the officers." Then she glanced at the large star map, that one was just plain confuseing to her. "O-ok" she said in her confusion. her world was a star? odd.. well at least it was ok... Saffron sat compleatly up and looked out the window at the start he was pointing at... then she felt a dizzy spell agian. she put her hand on her head and closed her eyes to attempt to get it it to stop. she opened her eyes minutes later, that had only helped a little bit. " I should lay down agian... I'm getting really dizzy." She said and then proceded to lay down, but when she was comfortable, she looked back over at Mercator. "Why do you have all these maps anyways?" She asked curiously.
