In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Mercator was staring back with a mild expression of concern in his old face. Seeing how exciting her wasn't a good thing to do in her current condition, he started to clean up all his maps and other paperwork. After he had folded or rolled up the maps and placed them back into one of his many bags he sat down again on the chair next to her bed. Taking in a deep breath while curling his lips in doing so. Then he looked at Saffron and started to talk in a clear and low narrating voice:
"Well lady Saffron, the reason is because i make them. I am a Cartographer, that means i'm a map-maker. Maps are a very valuable and important piece of information. And creatures big and small all rely on maps. A modern day society would be impossible without them... "
Mercator paused as he looked out at the window. Staring dreamingly at the stars and continued in a more sway and softer tone. As his mind was clearly wondering. As we was absent minded staring outside: "... But most of all, because I so love to travel. I have been places you couldn't even dream off. Seen things that you would not believe. Like the gardens of Wonderland. The Deep Jungle. The lands of Dragons. The mountain of Olympus. The holiday towns of Halloween and Christmas. The enchanting city of Agrabah. The seas of Atlantica and the Caribbean. The vast Pride Lands. The dreamy Neverland. The castle and world of Disney. And this quiet lazy town of Twilight that has the most beautifull sunsets of all worlds. Making maps gives me a reason to visit all those places."
After a moment of silence, the old wanderer seemed to reach his senses again and realised where he was. He blinked at Saffron and then nervously stated: "Oh, forgive this old nostalgic fool. I'm ranting your ears off, dear girl. I'm going to see if there are tea and crumpets available here. Would you care for something aswel?"
"Oh, so you don't know how you arrived here?, maybe the others brought you here and are still here in the hospital"
She checked the medical history of Chinzo and after examining him a little for a second opinion, she stamped it with a seal that means the patient is fine.
"Your wounds are nothing to be afraid of and you were simply a bit tired. Do you feel young and energetic enough to look for the other two?"

Chinzo yawned. "Excuse me. Uhm, yes, actually. That all-or-nothing fail-punch really did a number on me, but... Well, I can do it." He rolled out of bed, cast a quick Aero, did a twirl up in the air, and puffed out rainbow sparkles again. "Shall we go, milady? <3" he said politely, as he held out his hand. He managed to hold back a wince from using magic again. After that punch, it wouldn't be so easy to cast spells.

Saffron listened to what Mercator was saying, it was quite interesting. Saffron as well, was a traveler, so it was sort-of cool to know whee others had been. "Oh its fine." she said and couldn't help but laugh a little. "Sounds pretty intersting to me, acctually."
" Umm.. I don't really care." she shruged "Bring back whatever." was her next answer. She knew with that, Mercator would probably be leaveing the room soon, so she laid her head back on the pillow and closed her eyes. "if I'm asleep when you come back, wake me up agian." she said with a sigh, and a few minutes later she had infact drifted away to a light sleep.
"Saaaffron... wake up." Gently Mercator was waking up the sleeping Saffron. He held a tray with a tea set and a platter with cookies on them. Waiting for her to be fully aware again and by her senses he said: "Well can you believe that they actually have Earl Grey and crumpits? Astonishing!"
He placed the tray, that was designed to serve patients in bed, onto the bed. Hot damp was coming from the teapot. "I got you some cinnamon tea, dear. Experience has taught me that nothing revitilases the mind quicker then cinnamon."
With cunning hands, Mercator poured her a cup of cinnamon tea aswel as an cup of Earl Grey tea for himself. There was sugar for Saffron, and lemon for himself. The scents started to fill the room. The little platter with sandy biscuits was also looking appetisable.
Eating from the crumpits himself and enjoying his tea. Mercator then said during bites and sips: "You best get your strenght back soon dear, for I do not plan on dilly-dallying here for much longer. There are still many places that aren't mapped out yet."
Yumiko smiled and picked Chinzo's hand. He had a quite juvenile personality, but that didn't change the fact he had better days and overworking his body could spell problems to him.
After leaving Chinzo's room, Yumiko swiftly maneuver through the corridors of the hospital and the exciting action sequence climaxed when they waited for one minute inside an elevator before arriving to the reception of the hospital, where she made a small question to the receptionist.
"Did somebody else arrive with the patient Chizo? Like somebody named Saffron?"
The name of the other gentleman who was with them was still unknown to her, therefore she didn't mention the name of a person she was unaware of his identity.
"Thanks Eko. Now let's go after Saffron!"
With the information about the room where Saffon was currently staying, both Yumiko and Chinzo went to her room and found her and the gentleman with the unknown name pleasuring themselves with a tea of strong fragrance and exquisite flavor.
"So there you were. Looks like you were the only one who wasn't hurt battling that weird man"
She said looking at the one who mastered the art of cartography.

"Oh! Saffron!" Chinzo ran over to the young girl and gave her a warm huggle. "I was so worried about you!" He turned to the other man. "And you, thank you for saving me! I haven't seen so much kindness in years!" He gave him a firm handshake. "I mean, I could've taken that guy myself easy..." He winked. "...But I would've had to tap into my own mysterious powers. But enough about me, I remember I was going to ask about that cane of yours before we were attacked by those Heartless. Disgusting things, I think." He saw the tea and waved his hand, materializing a beautiful cup. "Do you mind if I have any? I do so care for tea. I haven't had it in six years. Anyhow, about that cane - wherever did you get it? In my own old age, I've grown a need for a walking stick and using my magic to aid my physical abilities has made me age even more."

Saffron woke up, hearing Mercator telliing her too. She sat up drowsily at him. "Mhm, pretty amazing. " she said and yawned. Saffron simply nodded when he said what he had brought up, after all he probably knew better than she did.... Saffron too tiny sips of her tea, since it was hot and she didn't want to burn her mouth, problems like that are just better avoided.
"Ya I know, I think I'll start feeing bettr when my body gets used to the amount of blood I have now...." she said and smiled. "Thats probably why I get so dizzy, its just not used to it." she added and touched her bandaged forhead, sort of examining the bandage with her hand since she shouldn't acctualy see it.
Saffron was very suprised when the nurse from far before, and chinzo walked into the room, she haddn't really expected to see either of them agian. After hearing what chinzo told her while he hugged her she though. "If you where passed out, probably I before I even got hurt, how the hell were you worried about me?" She would have made this comment known, but she really didn'twant to start offening people. She simply smiled. "I was worried about you too Chinzo" she said, even though she really wasn't, since yet agian, she had figured shed never see these people agian.
... Looks like you were the only one who wasn't hurt battling that weird man...
"That's because I had the common sense to not battle that raving lunatic at all."
However as Chinzo suddenly started to act all busy and hyperactive, the taller elderly man was clearly getting agitated and angry. Frowning upset about his presence here. Staring in disbelief with hostile eyes at the waterfall of sentences that were coming out of his mouth. Fearing there wouldn't be an end to them.
Finaly as he was pauzing in awaiting of his answer, the brownhaired wandered raised from his chair and looked down angry at Chinzo. Placing his hand then hard on top of his teapot and pulling it closer towards him. Away from the empty cup that Chinzo was holding. As he said while still restraining himself to not burst out in a scolding:
"You... old... senile... fool! Don't you even realise that it was your flamboyant use of magical energy that caused so many Heartless to appear? And certainly don't thank me, for it was lady Saffron that rescued you. If it was up to me, I would have left you there. And yes, I do mind. There is plenty of tea in the cafetaria below. And no, I won't tell you where I got my cane from. And it is, in fact, impossible for you to acquire one like mine. You shouldn't be out causing trouble but locked up in a retirement home!"
The wrinkled elderly man stood still firm and strong. As finaly he was slowly calming down. The flaring nostrills of his heavy breathing were diminishing untill he was breathing normally again. Without a doubt there would be an akward silence hanging in the room now. As his outburst must have been unexpected.
"There's nothing wrong with having a youthful personality, being playful and trying to make of fighting something cool looking, I do the same thing all the time"
She had quite a lot of empathy for kids and people who never forgets about their inner children, that's why she could sympathize with Chinzo and understand his exaggerate friendliness and admired his teenager-like lively spirit. However, he had some issues that were partially related with that behavior and could someday cause him something more serious than flesh wounds.
"But mister mapper has a point too. Chinzo uses too much energy in his attacks and wastes energy in ineffective attacks, leaving himself open to attacks from less exhausted enemies. Also, he is addicted to ether and mana potions used to fuel his excessive use of magic and that's bad even if his people is used to that"
As warrior, she understood Chinzo's love for flashy moves, but as medic she had to mention the dangers of abusing and ignoring the limits of his own body. Besides, one of the basics of combat was to never waste energy in attacks who lacked any impact in battle. Even if he were to drink magic replenishing medicine all the time to constantly nuke enemies with heavy magic, that wouldn't do anything other than show that he was an highly inefficient attacker, she could say that not even needing to see him in battle given how he used magic all the time even for mundane things like obtaining tea cups and spreading sparks all the time.

Chinzo simply shrugged. "My people are addicted to magic. I don't usually share that, but some people like to pry." He waved his hand and the cup disappeared. "Also, the Heartless and Nobodies attacked the man with the green sword during my conversation with you, Saffron, and the medic here, so they didn't come because of me. I believe that the only thing I did was create a few little sparkles, hardly enough to summon that huge concentration. Besides, they mostly all fell back after I foolishly nearly killed myself, so it couldn't have been because of that. I usually bottle up my emotions, but... But you aren't my shrink, sir. So, I shall take my leave, as I think I know when I am not wanted." A whirl of wind, mixed with beautiful rainbow sparkles appeared around him, and when it faded, the only thing remaining was a few sparkles.

"That's because I had the common sense to not battle that raving lunatic at all."
That sentance hurt Saffron more than one would expect. After all, She had acted unusually foolish back there and didn't need to be reminded of it, even if she wasn't acctually injured by the green haired man himself. Saffron's previous smile had faded and now she she was sitting quietly, still sipping on her tea. She listened to the three bickering about Chinzo and whos fault the heartless came was and for some reason.. this plainly made her angrey, she kept her cool until chinzo ended up leaveing.
"Who cares about whos fault the past was?" she said angrily and crossed her arms. "Placeing blame dosn't fix the past, I may be younger and more imature than you two, but i'm pretty sure that no matter whos fault it is that somthing happens, blaming them won't help. so why don't you quite your bickering and be happy that 'The commen sensless ones' even survived." She said playing off what Mercator had said earlier that made her upset to start with.
Mercator observed the dissapearance of Chinzo and only kept staring with narrow eyes. Finaly he just commented: "Hm, good riddance."
Calming down the elderly man sat back down in the chair next to Saffron's bed. Relaxing again, as he took hold of another crumpet and started to nibble on it. Overhearing the tirade that Saffron was given, the old man hardly reacted to her at all. Not looking at her either. Mercator remained silent as he didn't wanted to put any oil on the fire that was going on. Taking it's time so that it would grow smaller before trying to reason again.
His eyes started to grow blank as his mind was leaving the room. Delving in deeply in his memories and thoughts. Sitting there staring out in trance. The words of Saffron did kept ringing in his head. The truth that this young girl was saying had struck the old man. Eventhough he didn't let it show.
Coming out of his dreams, his energetic eyes locked on to Yumiko. The cogs in his head were grinding as he asked her. Speaking a bit louder then needed. Almost as if he was annoucing something: "Tell me, doctor. When will little miss Saffron be able to leave the hospital and continue on with her daily activities?" He leaned forward towards her with an interrested gaze as he awaited her answer.
"Fighting between partners? That's a big no no, be careful Chinzo!"
She didn't approve his addiction to magic and potions, but he was a good man, always trying to be flashy and causing a random smile in the people who witnessed his silliness.
"He'll come back, they always come back, so don't worry Saffron."
She patted the head of the angry girl and checked the data left in her room by the medic who attended her before.
"Those are just flesh wounds, Saffron can go out anytime, she simply needs to be careful and avoid strong impacts until she's fully healed"
The girl of name Saffron still remained angry and lashed her frustration on the nameless mapper, whom she blamed for Chinzo leaving them. Releasing the accumulated stress was always good, but getting pointlessly angry wasn't the best way to deal with it.
"My motto always was "Live your life to the fullest", so live without regrets and go after Chinzo, he'll be happy to see that you!"
She patted again the rebellious teenager and gave her a thumbs up, if she cared so much for Chinzo as she said, she would go after him before he left to never be seen for who knows how many days.
"My work here is done, now be good and try to get along, the power of friendship beats all!"
Said that, she left the room give those two some space to talk with calm about the issue and fix their relationship with Chinzo. The hospital wasn't that busy at that time, but who knows when a new batch of injured people could arrive?

Saffron disliked being patted on the head, shes wasn't a little kid after all, she was just a little short her her age.
Hearing that she was free to go when she wanted, she nodded. she'd say somthing more about this later..
Then she wondered why all the the Chinzo disscussion was targeted towards her... she really could careless aout the old goofball. she just didn't feel it right to blame him for everything. It easily could have been her blamed, so she was just sticking of for him.
Saffron turned her attention to Mercator after saying goodbye to Yumiko. " Mercator... would you mind if I followed you around till I get a little better?" she asked kindly. it was compleatly ok if he said no... She justed liked haveing his company around, instead of being all by herself. Plus, who knows if her dizzyness would affect her while fighting.. "Cause I think I'm ready to leave here." she added, then got out of bed, stumbled a little, but they stood up fine. "Ignore my temprary clumsiness" she said with a laugh, "My leg is asleep."
