A friendly duel [Hikari]

Tyson was standing in the center of the second district with his eyes closed and his sword was out he held in his right hand, he appeared to be waiting for someone and that someone was Hikari. They had agreed to have a match with eachother originally it was his idea since he was interested in her fighting skills she had taken out the heartless easily, she was a lot tougher than she looked he was looking forward to an interesting battle.

He opened his eyes and looked at the entrance Hikari should be here soon he thought and he began to practice his own combat moves, he slashed his sword a few times and started perfecting his techniques while waiting for Hikari.

Hikari jolted out of bed as her alarm went off, it took her a moment to register that she had to be meeting someone today...but, for what? She sat on her bed for a while, thinking...thinking...thinking...until...

"Whoa!!" she cried whilst falling off her bed as she had just remembered "Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!" she flailed her arms frantically as she rushed around her room, grabbing her clothes, but struggled with her jeans, she hopped around on one foot before falling flat on her face "Ouchie!!"

She then pulled her jeans on, then put her boots on soon after before rushing over to the mirror, brushed her hair, applied her charms and hairclips, then her bandana. Once she was ready, she grabbed her sword and dagger, attaching Light to her belt whilst slipping Tsuki into her boot.

"Okay okay okay okay okaaay!! Ready! Ready!" she panted as she ranout of her room then downstairs into the kitchen, she quickly made some toast, shoved a few snacks and drinks into her messenger bag then grabbed the pieces of toast that had popped up, she shoved one in her mouth and ran out of her house.

"Where...*nom nom* did he say to meet?" she muffled whilst munching on her piece of toast as she ran "secomf...dishtrict!!" came her muffled cry as she bursted through the doors that led into the second district. It was then she saw Tyson, she waved at him energetically, still noming the piece of toast.

"Himya! Smorry I'mm mlate!" she smiled with the piece of toast hanging from her lips, she continued to munch on it, she then held out the other piece to him "wamt snum?"

The doors of the second district opened and Hikari came running out while eating toast and was carrying another in her hand. It seemed that she had only woken up a few minutes ago Tyson couldn't help but chuckle even as she ran up to him waving, he waved back of course when she was next to him she offered him a piece of toast which Tyson refused.

"Hey Hikari you look like you've just woken up...don't worry you're not that late only by a few minutes." He laughed after he said it his expression then changed to a more serious face and he was ready to fight he jumped back into his battle stance and then said "I hope you're ready hurry up and finish eating so we can start." He was briming with confidence determined to show Hikari what he can do with the power of time at his disposal..

Hikari blinked as he didn't take the toast, she quickly turned around and stuffed the toast in her mouth, but not eating too quickly to the point where she would get a tummy ache. She then ran over to a corner and put her bag down before running back over to him. "okay, let's...*burps*" she blinked and covered her mouth "excuse me..uhm, anyways, elt's do this" she smiled as she pulled out Light, the crystal blade shone a rainbow glow in the sunlight, that was an advantage, the light off it blinded most of her enemies.

"Okay, so..,I may be a girl, but don't go easy on me, fight fair, no dirty tricks otherwise I'll throw an apple at your head" she giggled, twirling her blade, the charm on it jingled, then suddenly, after giggling, she stanced in a serious mode "I'm a lot stronger than I look...so..." she smiled "let's do this!!"

She had spirit at least Tyson thought as he saw enter her battle stance, she seemed just as determined as he was to fight well he would give her a good one not to the death obviously. Tyson though for a moment of what he was going to do hesuspected that Hikari wanted him to attack first, so he made the first move by starting off nice and easy.

"I don't plan on making it easy, let's see what you've got Hikari."

He pushed his left hand forward and fired a Lv2 Fire spell at Hikari it was quite fast after he fired it he then held his sword up into a slashing position and then dashed after the fireball, even if Hikari managed to deflect the spell she would still have his incoming slashes to deal with.

Hikari giggled as he stanced, she didn't seem to look serious, yet she really was. She playfully flailed her arms as he cast a Fire spell on her, she just giggled, he really didn't know what she could do, did he?

Within a flash, she pushed her free palm in front of her, casting Reflect around her, causing his Fire spell to be sent right back to him, his physical attack would be useless if his own spell hit him, she then used this opportunity to jump far back.

Smiling, she slide her hand across Light, engulfing the blade in a pink aura, getting ready to perform Passion Wave. "Love ish in the air!" she giggled as she spun and swung the blade at him, the blade itself didn't attack him, but the pink aura from her blade hurtled towards Tyson like a pink wave of energy.

She giggled and watched, swaying side to side, such strength and energy was contained within such a delicate and childish teen.

As he had expect Hikari managed to reflect his fire spell without too much trouble, but now he had two problems to deal with his fireball which was sent back at him (though it wasn't that much of a problem) and the purple energy wave that Hikari had sent at him. Tyson smirked as though to say 'No big deal' he easily deflected the fireball with his free hand, then he dodged the purple wave of energy by flipping over it now his path was clear to reach Hikari.

He readied his sword and was about to slash at her once again "You'll have to try harder than that to beat me Hikari!."

[/b] Which was true Tyson was a formidable foe to face in battle especially since he had the power of time on his side he'll have to make sure that he'd demonstrate that power in the fight.

Hikari just stood there watching him, oh well, she tried. A small giggle escaped her as she performed Blind Kiss whilst he charged at her, she blew an innocent kiss then spread her arm out, making it look like she had thrown the several pink hearts as they flew over to Tyson.

Hikari burst out laughing as two hearts covered his eyes, it made him look silly. She took this chance to cast a minor Blizzard spell on him, then charged at him, she could see the hearts beginning to fade and quickly flipped over him so that she was now behind him. "Peek-a-boo!" she giggled as she began to spin around with her sword in hand, slashing him in the back seven times before stopping, she stumbled around, dizzy.

"Oookay...that waaas stoopid...I-...ow!" she stumbled into a lamp post, soon snapping out of her dizzy state and rubbed her head. Quickly remembering where she was, she then around to face Tyson, she saw him...but then...he had gone?

She rubbed her eyes, blinked, then looked again, where was he?

He didn't have time to avoid the incoming hearts which covered his eyes all he could see was pink and he didn't like the sight of it, he felt vulnarable anybody would if there sight had been temporarily blinded. Though he didn't need to rely on just his eyes, he could hear Hikari cast a Blizzard spell and jump over him and began slashing at his back while spinning like a cyclone she managed to cut him a few times though it was only a minor wound. He quickly flicked his fingers and forze time.

Everything was completely still apart from Tyson Hikari's blade was about to strike him again but due to him freezing time it didn't manage to even touch him, after a while the hearts on his eyes dissapeared and he was able to see again. He could instantly see the blizzard spell right in front of him, he got an idea using his own magic he moved the blizzard spell behind Hikari so that when he unfroze time, the spell would hit her back. Then with only a few seconds left he jumped over her and while in the air he un-froze time and casted a several fireballs aimed at her head.

When he landed he simply stood there watching Hikari attempt to deal with the spells coming her way.

At that moment, Hikari felt a sharp, cold and mind-freezing pain, but how? Where had it come from? She looked around frantically for Tyson, wondering where had gone, it was then she looked up and saw him, as well as the several fireballs heading towards her, she refrained from screaming as she slashed at them as well as casting Water to put them out, destroying some though most hit her, one even burning her cheek. The pain brought back a memory, but she quickly brushed it off.

She then jumped up whilst he was in mid-air, slashed up his torso before grabbing him by the jaw, she jerked his head back, but not to break his neck, and as they fell back down towards the ground, she placed herself on top of him so that he'd take more damage to the impact.

"Hikari doesn't give up easily!" she giggled as she pinched his nose with one hand and placed her other hand over his mouth, casting Water again, but this time, the water went into his mouth, 'drowning' him.

His fierce combination of time freeze and fireballs had hit it's mark, though some of them had missed and he noticed that he had burnt her cheek slightly, though it didn't seem to bad since she brushed it off. Then before he knew it he was lying on the ground with his mouth full of water, and Hikari was on top of him causing it, what was she trying to do? drown him he hoped not because he was struggling to breath.

He knew that he was going to regret this since he was taller his legs were longer and he could kick her off him, which he did breaking free of her grip he didn't kick her too hard since she was light she was knocked off him easily. Tyson rolled ahead and stood up and stopped for a few seconds to catch his breath, he needed to think of a plan.

He smirked again and raised his hand and quickly dragged it downwards lightning struck down on Hikari though it was only a Lv2 Thunder spell it would still deal a bit of damage, then he dashed behind her and elbowed her in the back to knock her down and then finish his combination of with another fireball.

Hikari grunted as he kicked her off, she lay there for a while, trying to catch her breath before attacking again, she then got up and grabbed her sword, charging at him.

Just as she was about to attack, she heard the loud boom of thunder and just like that, she stopped dead in her tracks, completely petrified, her eyes almost bulging out of their sockets in fear.

The boom of thunder was soon followed by a strike of lightning that hit her, just as she was about to scream, Tyson knocked her down to the floor, she was too scared to move or retaliate, then suddenly felt a burn in her back as a fireball shot at her.

She said that she didn't want him to go easy on her, but maybe she should've told him about her fear, then again...she didn't due to thinking she'd be laughed at.

Right now, she didn't want to move, she just curled up into a little shaking ball, maybe now would've been a great opportunity to take a break.

Tyson managed to knoc her down he hoped he hadn't hit her too hard he usually wouldn't hit a girl. Although she didn't want him to go easy on her maybe he got a bit carried away, the moment she was knocked down to the ground he could tell that she wanted a break since she looked rather shaken up. The lightning strike might've been too much for her to handle he hadn't put that much power in to it had he?.

The young time traveler knelt down and healed her minor wounds with a healing wave, he only knew the basic cure spell she wasn't completely healed but he managed to cure the burns. After the healing method was done Tyson then sat down beside her resting his free hand on his knee, he couldn't help but smirk.

"Hey Hikari you don't look so good, do you want to rest?"

[/b] Said Tyson smugly though he was impressed with her fighting skills she never failed to amaze him he wondered how she was going to come back at him after she recovered.

Hikari just shook violently, she absolutely hated thunder, the sound, the look and the feel. She was close to crying, but she held them back, couldn't he see how petrified she was?

She didn't want to, but she did, she didn't mean to, but she did, she didn't think she would, but again she did...

She had hit him.

Now, it wasn't a slap, or a light smack, but a punch so strong and forceful that once she connected her fist to his face, she was sure something had made a cracking sound, when she looked at him to aim, she saw his smug look, but that probably was wiped clean off by now.

"That's not funny, you meanie! You smug little meanie!" she cried whilst glaring at him, but her rage was more cute than scary. She then stood up, taking a time out and walked over to where she had put her bag, she sat down, rummaging through it, still a bit scared and slightly angry as well as guilty.

She didn't mean to hit him...

Tyson smile soon faded as he saw what Hikari was about to do he could've easily blocked the punch but he was being careless he couldn't help himself, whenever he got into a fight his blood boiled and he felt excited well that was the last time he would hit her with thunder he thought as he rubbed his cheek were Hikari had hit him. What was she thiking? this was a battle she honestly didn't expect him to go easy on her did she? Tyson thought that she should've seen this coming.

The young warrior sat up and sighed he wished she wouldn't act so child-ish, but then again he supposed she couldn't help it he needed to know more about her anyone could hate thunder but there must be a reason behind it. He had flashback of when he was about to strike her with lightning he saw the petrified look on her face, he felt slightly guilty for doing it but that was how he fought using magic.

He stood up after a few minutes deep in thought, and approached Hikari he knelt down beside her as she rumaged through her bag looking for something which he didn't know of as of yet.

"Sorry for scaring you earlier with that spell" He said raising both of his hands in an apologising manner then he lowerd them down again.

"If something's bothering you don't feel afraid to tell me i'm your friend." Said Tyson suggestively maybe if she told him what was wrong he might be able to help her.
