In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.

Hikari frowned softly as he approached her, after he had apologised she took out a snack, an apple and shoved it in his mouth. She sat there in silence for a while before awkwardly crawling over to him, she looked up at him, somewhat like an apologetic puppy, she saw how badly she had hurt him and sighed. "I didn't mean to...it's just not nice to act all gloaty and smug when someone's scared to death...it's really mean" she bowed her head slightly, a thought on whether she 'should or should not' occured, she rubbed her arm nervously as she prepared herself. She then looked at him and leaned forward, her lips gently touched his cheek as she kissed him, but strangely, it was longer than last time, it was...different, more than friendly...
After a few minutes, she pulled away, looking down again. "I'm sorry I hit you...I never meant to...I-I would never hurt you, Ty...but...I did, and I'm sorry..." before she started rambling, she just shoved a pear in her mouth.

He soon descovered what Hikari had been looking for It was an apple and it looked as though she was about to shove it down his mouth, he quickly grabbed her hand lightly and simply took the apple out of her hand. He didn't feel like eating at the moment so he layed it down by his side and he would have it later.
It seemed that she wanted to apologise he could tell by the look on her face he quickly said "Hey don't worry about it, you packed quite a punch there remind me not get you angry." Although he said it in a teasing manner what he meant was serious, despite that she looked cute when she was angry he didn't want to get punched again.
Then he felt her lips touch his cheek where she hit him his nerves tingled again and this time the kiss was longer than before, despite the nerves he felt before they were soon gone and he felt relaxed after she had let go of the kiss. Again he quickly grabbed the pear from her hand and ate a piece of it, he was actually having a good time with Hikari he completely forgot that they were supposed to be training.

(Hey! You stole her pear xD Btw, didn't mean to look like I was controlling, I really wasn't oO o)
Hikari smiled awkwardly. "I'm really sorry..." she said again, but more sincerely, she then looked away "to tell you the truth...I...I'm scared of thunder and lightning...I don't react well towards it..."
She then blinked as he took her pear and took a bite. "H-Hey! No fair!" she pouted at him before playfully tackling and pinning him "gimme that back" she giggled "don't make me attack you with potato chips and samiches!" she then began to flail her arms "gimme gimme! You're gonna get spit on it"
She cursed being smaller than him, he could easily get up with no trouble. "Gimme mah pear or I'mma kiss you!" wait, did she really just say that? Too late to take it back now.
She then felt her tummy rumble, she wanted foods...
He had only just realised that he had taken her pear despite that he already had an apple beside him, he had only just realised how hungry he was he wondered when was the last time he had eaten? it was definately some time ago he didn't know how he could last without eating as much food as possible.
After he had taken a bite out of Hikari's pear she tried to grab it from him, Tyson felt like teasing her for a while since he was taller than her all he had to do was stand up on his tip-toes and hold the pear up high. He couldn't help but laugh as he saw Hikari struggle to try and reach it, he wouldn't usually act like this maybe Hikari's chil-like nature was rubbing off on him.
"If you want it come and get it." He said teasingly he was planning on giving it her back but not after he had his fun.
"Ty, gimme it back nooow!" she pouted, reaching for the pear "it's not fair, you're taller than meee!" she may have souded like she was whining, but she was really having fun "gimme or I will kiss chu!" she was actually considering it, she was really hungry and would do almost anything to fill her stomach "Ty...gimme teh...pear...it's getting lonely, it wants me to eat it! Gimmeee!" she tried to reach again, but failed, that did it.
"Okay! I warned you!" she yelled in her cute rage as she leaned forward quickly, her lips connecting with his, her eyes were shut tightly as she placed her hand under his, waiting for him to drop the pear so she could catch it.
She didn't move, her cheeks were tinting pink as she soon began to wonder why she had done this in the first place.
Confusing much...?

He could see her fall into her cute rage again though he could tell that she was having fun, he was about to give her the pear back since his arm was starting to ache after holding it for a few minutes. But before he could do anything his lips were suddenly connected with Hikari's, he felt her warm lips touch his and he couldn't help but blush.
Tyson still managed to hold on to the kiss though this was much more than a friend kiss that was for sure. Though he could feel her hand move under his so that she could catch the pear that he eventually dropped. After a few more seconds he broke the kiss his cheeks blushing red.
"Well I didn't see that coming...at least you got your pear back hehe.." Although he pretended that the kiss hadn't happened he was still rather glad that she did though, he had never been this close to a girl before. Well there was a first time for everything, he thought still smiling blushingly at Hikari.

Hikari's features softened, her closed eyes were no longer scrunched up, but merely looked as if she was sleeping peacefully, obviously she wasn't, just calm.
She thought it to be a bit much for her to do this in order to get her pear back, surely...she wouldn't do this just to get it back, who would? Then there was that feeling again. Warm and protected, happy yet scared, excited and nauseous. She didn't get long to think about it as the pear fell into her hand and he pulled away.
Hikari blinked as she stared at him, then blinked twice at the pear, she started to blush. "I no want it now, you got spit on it" she placed the pear on his chest. What the hell? That seemed pointless, or was it?
She looked down at him, smiling cheerfully, forgetting what she had just done. "Hiya!" she waved at him before rummaging around in her bag and took out a sandwich "want a samich? Or how about some sodaaa!"
Spending her days alone never were fun, but that all seemed to have changed after meeting Tyson. She was happy...
Although he knew that she didn't kiss him just for the pear he knew it meant more than that to her, there was a brief moment of silence between the two. Tyson blinked when she spoke to him, though he was feeling happier than he had been in days he couldn't remember the last time he was happy, he supposed that was before his home world was taken by the heartless since then he hadn't been himself for a long time.
An image of his wreaked homeworld appeared in his mind again despite that he was enjoying himself with Hikari that feeling of guilt for the loss of his kingdom had returned. He suddenly remembered what he was meant to be doing, his ship still needed repairs and he was determined to restore his kingdom.
Tyson came back to his senses and replied to Hikari quietly "I'll have a soda thanks..." He took the lemonade from Hikari and opened it, he drank about half of it and then layed it down.
He turned to face Hikari "Hey do you mind if we continue training?, I want to improve my skills so I can finish what I started.." He said with a serious look on his face his expression was no longer calm and cheerful but instead, he was determined to restore his homeworld.

Hikari smiled down at him as he drank the soda. Now, due to losing her memory, she didn't really know where she came from, but believed that Traverse Town wasn't in fact her real homeland, she didn't bother dwelling on something that she couldn't remember, but...it always occured to her, giving her countless head aches by thinking about it.
It was sad, even if she did return to where she was from, what would she be returning to? Where would she be returning to? It's not like she'd remember anyone, but then, at that moment, she seemed a bit sad, if she went home...
She wouldn't be with Tyson anymore...
Hikari always thought of herself as weak, no help to anyone, she never had anyone she wanted to protect, but now she did...and maybe, just maybe, if she defeated, but not kill, Tyson during their fight, that would prove she was strong enough, right?
She smiled, now she had a goal, a purpose, something she was determined to do...
"Okay! Let's go!" she giggled whilst getting off him and back into her stance.
The young warrior of time smiled as Hikari backed into her battle stance, he soon followed suit. He spread out his feet slightly and stood sideways holding his sword 'Paradox' in his right hand, his left hand was free so that he was able to cast magic spells whenever he needed to. His bow on his wrist was fully loaded and ready to use but he rarely used it or his dagger as a matter of fact, he prefered to combine his sword attacks with mid-ranged magic spells.
This time he knew not to use Thunder magic since Hikari wouldn't appreciate it if he did, so he would have to think of another strategy though the only other magic apart from time he knew, was Thunder, Fire and Cure. Maybe he might learn some more spells during training with Hikari, she seemed to know a lot more than he did especially that water spell which would come in handy if he learnt it.
To begin he started off with a simple and typical dash towards Hikari his sword raised in one hand ready to slash, even if she did manage to block it he would then trip her over and hit her with a fire spell from his free hand when she was on the ground..

Hikari smiled as Tyson came at her, she was ready for him as he slashed at her, she let him, causing blood to trickle down her arm, but as he attacked she had spun herself in order to stand behind him. Quickly, she performed Passion Wave, causing the pink tidal wave of energy to hurtle towards him, she ran after it so that if he dodged it, she'd be able to jump over the energy and attack him.
She knew that she would never want to control the spell, Thunder, but she knew it would help her, even though she was sure that she'd never get over that fear. Maybe if her Passion Wave ability went up a level, she'd have more advantages, but she wasn't sure how much the ability would change.
Snapping out of it, Hikari jumped high up in the air as the wave hurtled towards Tyson, she readied herself, sword in hand, to attack him with her cyclone sword attack.

He was very surprised that Hikari didn't intercept his blow with her sword, instead she let him cut her arm slightly. He didn't put too much power into it since it was only the first slash, his eyes followed her as she moved behind him and she sent a passion wave at him just like she had done earlier today. He didn't have enough time to dodge it so instead he managed to block it with Paradox he was pushed back slightly due to the impact but he dealt with it without too much trouble.
Then he saw her jump up and begin to spin she managed to cut him a few times with her blade but he managed to evade the rest by rolling sideways, as she came down he kicked her straight in the back to send her flying into the ground and then he would jump over her while firing several fireballs. He had used this tactic earlier as well it was a helpful manouver to keep his opponent off guard and ready for him to strike with his sword after he landed.
