In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Arthas and Heaven stepped out of the portal, still hand in hand. "Welcome to Destiny Islands, my Lady." he said, smiling. They had arrived just as the sun was setting, one of the most beautifal things Arthas had ever seen. He led Heaven over to a tree to sit on and they watched the sunset. "Isn't it beautifal?" he asked.
As soon as Heaven stepped out of the portal, she was breath taken by the view. This place...reminded her of...Besaid Island, it was so wonderful, a beautiful scene...almost romantic.
She looked down at her boots and carefully removed them, her bare feet were kissed by the warm yet squishy golden sand as they touched. "It's so wonderful" she smiled at him before looking down at his hand that linked with hers, her eyes warmed compassionately at this. He then led her to a nearby tree where they both sat, Heaven's legs dangled over the tree, so she swung them slowly whilst gazing at the reflection below her.
After a while, she looked up to stare at the sunset. "Indeed, it is..." she smiled softly, noticing that their hands were close together, but then kept staring ahead "but...I've seen some things far more beautiful..." her voice was sincere as she slowly looked at him, watching as he stared at the sunset, she gazed at him, somewhat entranced, but still smiled.
I've seen some things fam more beautiful said Heaven, looking at Arthas. Arthas looked at Heaven, entranced. In this light, her gentle features looked incredibly beautifal. He grabbed her hand and intertwined his fingers with hers. "I have seen many beautifal things, but........not as beautifal as you." he said, blushing. He looked away at the sunset and said, "Heaven, what was your world like?"
Heaven twitched slightly as he intertwined his fingers with hers, it was a tender actions that caused her heart to beat with haste, but she managed to stay calm...but not for long...
She gasped, making it seem like she had just taken her final breath. She was, to him, beautiful...? No one, except for other Summoners, had called her such a thing, no one here seemed to think she was, it seemed...
She shook her head of thought, that didn't matter right now, he wanted to know about her world, although...
This would've ruined the moment, but it would make her laugh.
"Such a comment to be bestowed upon myself is highly inaccurate" she smiled whilst shoving him into the water, she didn't mind getting soaked as the water splashed loudly, she looked down on him, smiling warmly. Now, she'd tell him...
"Spira, as befits its name due to the spiral of death the world endures, as well as the many spheres found, hymns, prayers and sphere pools," she continued to stare "it's an extroaninary yet beautiful world..."
Arthas let out a little scream as Heaven pushed him into the water. "That was a little uncalled for." he said, smiling. Then Heaven mentioned Spira and Arthas started listening. "Spira, as befits its name due to the spiral of death the world endures, as well as the many spheres found, hymns, prayers and sphere pools" said Heaven. "Wait, a spiral of death?" interrupted Arthas, blushing as he did so. He knew it was impolite and regretted it. "I'm sorry, Heaven. You caught me off guard." he said sheepishly.
Heaven smiled down at him as he looked up at her. "That's what you get for making such incorrect compliments" she laughed, waving her finger at him.
It was then she let herself fall off the tree and into the water with Arthas, she swam in circles around him. "Well, sadly, a Summoner gives their life in order to defeat Sin, but.....Sin returns again at some point in the future, people get killed by Sin again, a Summoner dies defeating Sin again...the spiral of death..." she then stopped and looked down.
"My mother and father left me to become a Summoner when I was a child, whilst they went to defeat Sin.....but...they were killed..." she sighed, laying back so that she floated, she stared up at the sun setting sky, pink and orange hues caused the water to glisten, making it seem like she was floating on thousands of shimmering stars.
"When I return, I'll defeat Sin and...return to the Farplane...maybe even become the next Sin..." she said sadly.
Arthas watched Heaven floating on her back, looking at the newly appearing stars. He knew that she was joking about the compliment, but Arthas kept his feelings to himself, afraid to jeapordize their friendship. "So that is why Spira is a spiral of death........" he murmured, also floating on his back. "In Tranvia, there is almost constant peace. But when a war breaks out, it lasts for up to a decade. I would love to show you Tranvia, but sadly its been taken over by Heartless." He sighed, thinking of his home world. "This beach.......it reminds me of my secret beach in Tranvia. It had my own fort and my friends would come....." he trailed off, thinking of his long dead friends. He then flipped over and swam to Heaven. "Let's get back to shore. It's getting dark."
Heaven sighed as he spoke, she would've loved to go to his homeland, no, it was just him she wanted to be with, how strong could one friendship be? Was it...natural?
She looked up at him as he swam over to her, his face appearing upside down to her. "I would...love to show you Spira...the Macalania Forest was where I was raised by the Guado...I myself am part Guado, as you can see by my white and silver hair, silver veins and unkempt hair...so...heheh, I'm not entirely human..." she explained to him, wondering if that would change his opinion on her "Guado are...very loyal, kind yet gentle also..."
At that moment, she felt sad after mentioning her home, she missed it terribly, hoping that those she cherished were coping well. Her smiled faded as she gazed at him sadly, tears beginning to form in her silver eyes. She reached up, placing her delicate hands over his cheeks...
She knew why she wanted him to resign...she knew why she didn't want to join the Farplane...the pieces joined together...
Starting to walk to the shore, he heard Heaven say that she wasn't fully human, which surprised him. She looked so.....human-like, despite the silver veins. Arthas could tell that him calling her beautifal unnerved her, and he understood, but he still loved her. Or was it love? The feelings were confusing and flew through his head at the speed of light. "We can go to my world, but........" he trailed off. He wouldn't be able to handle it if all his friends were dead. He dismissed that idea and walked to shore. Opening a portal back to Traverse Town. "Do you need help back to Traverse Town, Heaven?"
Heaven sighed deeply as she stood in the water, watching Arthas walk out of it. She knew that she needed to stop acting so childish, negativity never helped either, she could see that it was pushing him away...
"Sir Arthas?" she called after him, hoping that he wouldn't leave, she wanted to stay here for now, to stay with him "...the reason why...I wanted you to resign is because, well, I care about you, I know that I truly fear losing you...and being apart from you would hurt so much, I am terrified of facing Sin because I know that I'll die, and I won't be with you anymore..." she blinked back tears, trying to compose herself.
"What I feel for you is something that I've never felt towards anyone before, it's different from how I felt towards my parents, this feels stronger...it makes me want to be everything for you, it makes me want to die for you, to protect you until my final breath is taken...to hold you in my arms is what I wish..." she gripped her arm tightly "to show you that...I really care..."
"You've already showed me all those things, Heaven." said Arthas. "All I need is you byy my side, and I'll be happy, even in death." He walked over to Heaven and wrapped his arm around her waist. "Don't feel bad for me, Heaven. We'll be together always." With those words he held up the angel wing necklace. "And this is proof that we will." He knew that she was about to cry, so he held her close saying nothing. As the sun finally set and the stars appeared, they stood there, saying nothing, just holding on to each other.
Heaven breathed deeply as he held her close, it was relaxing being with him, she gently rest her head on his chest. "Even if I do die..." she smiled up at him "I'll die happy..." she then pulled down his hood, he always seemed to have it up, it was better to see him like this, she laughed softly "you're loveliness can be seen by all now".
It was a sincere comment, one that she would never take back. His hair seemed to blow gently in the wind along with hers, a glow from the setting sun made his hair look like precious gold to her, what caused his features to look more lovely was the water reflecting in his eyes, she smiled at him.
"I think...that you're more beautiful, Sir Arthas" she whispered, placing her hand on his cheek "beauty matters not to me though, it's the fact that you are you...that's what makes me...love you..." she trailed off, not seeming to realise the words slip out.
Arthas just stood in that magical moment, feeling the bond between them grow stronger. "Heaven......." he whispered, unable to say any more. Instead, he lifted her chin and kissed her.

The feeling inside Heaven's soul warmed her heart as he kissed her, it was so divine, the feeling seemed to control her actions at that very moment, instructing her on what she should do to make the kiss more beautiful.
She held Arthas close, wanting her heart as close to his as possible, her faster beating heart seemed to almost want to reach out to his and combine itself. The Summoner kissed him deeply yet tenderly as she wrapped her arms around his neck lovingly, lacing her fingers through his hair.
She was happy, just so long as he was with her, but even if he wasn't by her side, he was still in her heart, that was enough for her...
They kissed for a while longer, hearts beating as one. Arthas could feel the pieces of his soul reforming with that kiss. He held it as long as he could, savoring every minute of it. But, alas, he knew all good things must come to an end, and he broke the kiss. He still held Heaven close to him, feeling her pulse slow down. He stroked her face tenderly. "You look so.......beautiful. I just can't believe I am so blessed to be with you......."
