In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The portal from Wonderland rippled open and the dark aura filled a small area outside the Old Mansion in Twilight Town. Portals to this place were not an odd occurrence in the Town, or near the Mansion; most people even forget they happen. But if someone else was in this forested area they would now notice the smell of roses filling the air. The smell was a welcoming aroma but a rose by any other name is just as sweet..or smell in this case. The flora Nobody slowly strolled out of his portal as he awaited the arrival of his new underling, Jack.
Jack was a very interesting boy to Marluxia, the boy heard the word freedom and jumped like a hyena leaping on its prey and dove into the darkness without a second thought. Only a fool or someone smart would do such a thing. The Assassin was on pins and needles to find out which. "You know Jack," Marluxia started as he sensed the youth walking out of the portal. "Very few of those who jump head first into darkness or war live to to tell. Did that cross your mind?"
Jack stepped through the portal, stepping into a new world, a new area, a new experience. The smells of the new world were unbelievable. He barely noticed Marluxia saying anything to him, and he didn't notice the dark portal closing behind him. He was looking around in wonder. Sniffing the air, looking at the trees, the bushes, the gate, and lastly (but obviously not least) the mansion.
In the back of his mins, he realized that Marluxia said something. "Did I think about that? Yea, I did. The fact that not all people live during a war is a very well known fact. I don't know about darkness though." Jack didn't want to sound dumb, but he wanted to know more. He had thought that the only way to get off a world was via Gummi Ship, but obviously not.
"Don't know much about darkness... Marluxia mumbled under his breath. He forgot for a second that he brought Jack from a world that had hardly any dangerous Heartless around; the Beserekers that followed the Assassin were most likely the first Nobody to vist in quite some time. But Marluxia needed to quickly tell this youth exactly what the Darkness was, but first some observational training. But being the sneaky type, Marluxia summoned a Dusk Nobody and had it stay as still as the other stone statues around the mansion.
"Now, before we do anything else. I need to know your eye is as well trained as your powers. Not even the strongest person can win if they don't watch carefully. Now tell me, what do you see around here? Anything catch your eye? Anything out of place, or moved on purpose away from the main town?" Marluxia crossed his arms and walked over to a crumbling pillar and leaned his back on it. Hopefully this youth does better than Nokosu did on the first try.
Jack looked around the Mansion and was completely at a loss as to what Marluxia wanted. He could tell this was a test, as any fool should be able to. But, he didn't know what he was looking for! How was he supposed to see something out of the ordinary when he didn't even know what ordinary was?! Does he think I'm like able to read his fucking mind?[/color] Jack thought as he looked around.
The first scan around him revealed nothing. The second scan of his surroundings was a bit slower, less rash, less aggrivated...still nothing. The third time though, Jack spotted something! "That thing! I've seen it before! It's...one of those nobody things!" Jack said with some excitement as he slowly started to draw his sword. He was ready to fight off this thing if that was what Marluxia wanted. Whatever Jack had to do to please Marluxia is what would happen.
((Jack's color code = FF66FF in case you want to do the quote thingy))
Marluxia sighed as Jack only was able to see the Dusk that a child could see. He un crossed his arms and the Dusk dissapeared. He wanted to leave and find another person to try and recruit someone else; annoyance was setting in. "No, Jack. I placed that Dusk there to throw you off. What I was testing you for was your eye for scenery. Look at this Mansion behind us." Marluxia said as he pointed at the huge building behind the two.
"Why do you suppose it was built away from the town and in a forest? To keep people out? Or to make sure that nothing got out? Look at the crumbling structures," Marluxia asked as he walked back over to the pillar he was just at, he placed his hand on it and the creeping vine that was inching its way up seemed to curl towards his hand. "See how it is falling apart? Either this Mansion is aging or a great battle was fought here; see how the mansion itself is ni prime condition. What does that tell you?"
(Have to cut this one short, need to be off to work)
Jack listened to all that Marluxia was saying, soaking in every word, wondering where this conversation could be going. He could tell that Marluxia wasn't very happy with him, and he was hoping to remedy this. Jack now knew that he would have to be way more observant than he normally was. Back on Wonderland he knew every little thing on the world, and he could tell when it was changed...here he didn't know where he was, and he didn't know what was going on. But Marluxia expected Jack to be able to see some things and be able to deduce certain things about his surroundings.
"Hmm...it tells me that this Mansion isn't normal. Either by magical or mechanical means...it's been kept nice and solid. I'd say probably magical means. I'd also say that it's probably been around for a while because of how crumbled everything is. Although it is entirely possible that a battle was had here. Especially with all the nicks in the stone." Jack said as looked around, making sure he didn't miss anything. Which...he didn't think he did, but, it was entirely possible...
