In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Kalanu watched as the man attacking him seemingly calmed down then went back to attacking. The man radiated a negative energy that made Kalanu wary then dark fires appeared around Kalanu as the man dashed forward. The first mistake. Then the man reached out his hand to grab him.A second mistake
"Humans are so clumsy." he thought. displaying his new-found consciousness
Moving with a speed impossible for humans speed Kakanu clamped down as hard as he could on the mans arm; enough to splinter bone and shred skin. Kalanu then turned around and kicked at the man's chest hard enough to crack if not completely break ribs and then dashed with a single jump 15 feet away. Sliding to a stop on the ice, his claws screeching on the ice, he let loose two barks that released to concussion blasts barely visible except for a small blur in the air. This human had pushed him to far and wasn't showing any intentions of stopping. He was either going to die or be injured to the point of incapacitation.
Saxen fell down onto the ground. His arm was broken and bleeding. Bad. He took off his shirt and used it as a bandage. He then used his vest that he dropped earlier as a sling. He drew his gold sword and jumped into the fight with Fenris and Sark. He started to attack Sark with quick, relaxed slashes and stabs. He yelled back to Cassie, "know any cure spells?" He turned to Fenris. "I can take over here if you take care of her." He kept up his attack on Sark. "Hey, newcomer, speak as friend or foe."
This entire time, Cassie has remained focused on charging her Tennyoken attack. So much so that she didn't even hear when Saxen explained his true intentions regarding the animal. She had to stay focused on her own energy flow. If she didn't, the compressive flow would cease, causing the energy already gathered to expand outwards in an explosion. She zoned out for a moment, which rather defeated the purpose of charging the attack, as one would do well to keep track of their target. Zoning out, she began to move forward, slowly. She missed Saxen trying to distract "Momo". She missed the wolf defending himself. It was only when she was addressed directly that her attention was called back to the world.
"Know any cure spells?
"Huh?" By that time, Cassie had moved right into the center of the fray between Fenris, Sark, and Saxen. And as her attention had been yanked into the world, and NOT on her attack.... the white energy sphere in her hand began to whine loudly. In an instant, it exploded with a violent force, leaving a much larger crater than her kick hand, and sending everyone around her flying.
Cassie herself was flung backwards by her own misfire, where she slammed into an arena wall. She slid down like a squashed insect towards the floor. "Tatatatatata.... ow...."
Kalanu crouched down as an explosion rocked the entire arena in flame and smoke. His claws digging into the ground as he watched the other beings get tossed to the walls like rag dolls
The explosion had come from the ball of light the girl he had first attacked had. He had deemed that she was not a threat but had been wrong he looked at her with surprise which distracted Kalanu " yet another strange emotion"
He then started circling Cassie while growling viscously and letting out loud barks every few seconds. He then dashed forward before backing off and repeating.
After yet another fake he sat down and let out another howl but this one much sadder and a small shock wave came from him. Not strong enough to cause harm to anything but still enveloping the whole arena.
Kalanu then looked around almost everyone had been knocked out by Cassie's blast. He would have to watch her if she tried to do that again and put an end to her before she could get it started.
Cassie was rubbing the back of her head from the impact against the wall. It was then that Momo arrived. He circled her, rushed, backed away, and circled again. Cassie rubbed the bridge of her nose, her head throbbing. She began to stand. "Momo-chan, I can't play right now. I think there's an axe in my head somewhere. When it goes away, we can play."
Then, as though the dog had a sixth-sense for detecting headaches, the wolf howled, sending a sonic shock-wave throughout the arena. The axe Cassie had thought was in her head suddenly was withdrawn... then re-bashed into her skull. She put her hands to the sides of her head, covering her ears and rubbing her temples.
The arena filled with sand and rocks shifted. It shifted into an ocean with gigantic waves. There is one wooden raft in the middle arena. Big enough to fit 3 people.
Saxen started to sink into the water. He didn't know what was happening. The shock of the water started to wake him up, but he still was unable to understand his situation. Besides, even if he had, he wouldn't have been able to swim. He was able to get out one quick yell before slipping back into unconsciousness. "I think...I'm dying..." He thought. There was nothing he could do for himself.
Suddenly the whole field turned to sand and as Kalanu turned around to look what happened he saw water start flooding the arena. Kalanu ran to the boat that had appeared in the middle of the field. As he jumped in he turned and growled as he crouched on the bottom daring anyone to try to get him out. He looked out the side of the boat and though the water in the middle was shallow enough the arena was still filling and away from the center it was deep enough to make one of the other beings in the arena start to drown
((ooc :u guys might want to wake up ur knocked out characters))
Sark regained concousness right as the arena started to change. When this happened, he was in initial shock. However, a few seconds later, he realized he need not worry, because the water can not harm him, for he is made of data. He just stays calm while everyone else fights for the boat.
>DATA ENTERING... >WRITE DATA: ADAM >LOADING... >LOAD COMPLETE >PROGRAM: ADAM.EXE >BATTLE ROUTINE SET >EXECUTE
Adam appeared in midair over the water. He began windmilling, then fell in. He swam to the surface, and pulled the Darkseeker's Hilt free. Holding it over his head, he yelled, "Gem shift: sapphire!" The blade of a Katana shot out of the Hilt as a blue gem affixed itself to the base. He swung the sword in the air, and a small iceberg with a flat, rough surface appeared in the water. Stabbing his sword into the ice, Adam pulled himself out of the water, and looked around. He saw a wolf in a boat, and a guy who looked like he couldn't swim. Adam made his decision, and willed the berg to the sinker. He grabbed the guy's hand, and pulled him out of the water.

Cassie was up to her knees in water before it fully struck her what was going on. Though dense, her instincts were normally sharp, especially when it came to survival. Perhaps the headache she was dealing with from that sudden head-butt to the wall was to blame. In either case, the arena was flooding fast. Now the water was to her navel. Make that REALLY fast. She clenched her fists. There were two short but brilliant flashes of light. When they subsided, it could be seen that the girl's violet kickboxing gloves had been replaced.
Two shiny silve gauntlets now adorned her hands. She flexed her clenched fists. Blades sprung from the backside of her hands, just above the knuckles. She then drove these blades into the wall of the arena. Then her other hand above that... digging her "claws" into the stone wall, she began to pull herself out of the water as quickly as she could. She glances behind her to survey the goings-on. Another person had appeared, and was apparently saving a sleepy Saxen from a watery death. That was good. Cassie liked him... even though he was trying to hurt Momo-chan.
Speaking of whom....
She scanned the arena once more, her eyes finding the boat in the center, where Momo prowled back and forth, growling.
"Aw! That poor thing! He must be so scared!" She braced her feet against the wall, now having climbed well above the water level. "I'm coming Momo-chan!" She shouted, as she kicked off of the wall, leaving yet another crater, and propelling her like a rocket through the air.
Unfortunately, her aim was perfect... and wooden boats were not designed to support something being propelled into them from a great height. Cassie entered the boat from the top... and exited through the bottom, leaving one gaping whole where she had "landed". She surface just as the boat began to sink to see her error.
"Oops.... DON'T WORRY MOMO-CHAN!!!! I'LL SAVE YOU!" And with that, she began to swim in the sinking craft's direction.
Saxen started to get his mind back together as he was being pulled out. He looked up and saw another stranger. "Thanks, man," he said groggily. "Where's Cassie...Fenris...that darn wolf...where are they?" He suddenly noticed the ice. "COLD!" he yelled and almost melted the iceberg before realizing that it was the only thing between him and the water. He reached for his sword. It wasn't there. He must have dropped it. "Darn it! I need that sword! Dang it!" He took a look at the newcomer. Another teen like him. Saxen had to think of some weapon to use. He had very little ability aside from his sword. "Hey," he said to the stranger, "can you make another platform by that wolf to keep it alive and move this one over to that girl? Don't ask on the count of the wollf. You can ask Cassie when we get her aboard. Do you have a spare weapon, by the way?" He sat down on the ice and started to plan.
