In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Gerard stepped into his hotel room with a minor grimace at the coloring, gray and blue. He wouldn't mind the gray but the color blue was an irritating color to him. He dropped the bag in his hand by the door and carefully placed the girl hung over his shoulder onto the couch. There were three rooms, one that could be called a living room which had a mini fridge, a couch, two chairs, a television, and a radio. The other was a bedroom, two queen-size beds with a cabinet and another television, and of course there was a small bathroom with a shower/bath, a sink, and of course a mirror.
He walked back to his bag kneeling down opening it and grabbing a long sleeved button-up shirt much like the one he was wearing though it was a reddish violet color that changed into black at the end of the sleeves and at the bottom of the shirt. The pants were a generic dark blue jeans much like the ones he was wearing and of course grabbed a pair of black boxers.. He grabbed one more thing that he bought on the way here, fresh white bandages. Taking them into the bathroom he turned on the shower and stripped down thinking about what he was going to do. The girl would wake up soon and the key was in his jeans pocket and the door was locked so he could at least be sure she couldn't leave without breaking the door down.
He had already thought of a bluff to get her under control, and it was done quite well focusing fully on what she didn't know and she couldn't learn without him telling her or heading back to the garden. He stepped out of the shower dripping and the bandages wrapped around him dripping wet he unbound them carefully making sure to not disturb the scabbing area on his shoulder, he didn't need to be bleeding again. He re-wrapped it with the fresh bandages and dressed himself quickly and grabbed the key from his other jeans. Stepping out he felt refreshed and sat down in the chair waiting.

Sage was blissfully dreaming away while she was being carried into the hotel room. Vince was in the dream, dressed in a rather ridiculous tux. She couldn't help but think of how much better he looked with a simple white T-shirt and sweat pants on. In her dream, she looked down and saw she was wearing a gown the color of emeralds. It sparkled with her every turn, blinding her at the same time. Why were they both dressed up? Sage didn't like dresses. Her eyes met Vincent's and she noted that they also held a rather confused look to them. Slowly, his eyes softened into a playful smirk at her outfit. "You look nice" he said and Sage walked toward him while laughing at the remark. Her footsteps began to speed up as the more she walked toward him, the further away he became. "Vince!" she cried as he became the size of an ant. "Great to see you again!" was the reply she got as she completely lost sight of him.
She jumped as her mind woke. Though her eyes didn't seem to want to open, she still had four of her senses up and running. The chloroform still made her a little sleepy and for some reason, she couldn't bring herself to open her eyes. Her fingers dug in to stiff carpet and Sage wondered just where she was. The last thing she remembered was being in the alleyway. But the feeling of carpet told her that she definitely wasn't in the alleyway. She could hear the sound of running water in another room, a shower perhaps. Was it Vincent? No... that's right. Last time she saw him, he was in the back of the alley bleeding to death. It would have taken a miracle for Vince to have survived that attack. She slowly exhaled and released her grip on the carpet.
It was inevitable, Sage was once again alone. Now the water stopped and it was only a few minutes later that a door opened. Her eyes began to open, just a little crack at first and then a mere squint. Powder blue walls met her eyes. She had never been here before, just whose house was this? A slight 'ugghh' noise escaped her lips as she turned her head to find who placed her here. Her eyes reverted back to slits as she saw the man who had been in the alley. He was the one who had killed Vincent.

Gerard smiled as he saw the girl begin to wake up. "Finally awake are you, good. I see that look in your eyes, that hositility. I wouldn't act on it though. After all, if you do that, your friend will die." Gerard had a serious expression on his face as he spoke. After all to lie correctly, you yourself had to believe the lie. Gerard stood up and walked over to his bag grabbing a pack of Marlboro's and his lighter. Hitting the pack against his hand several times to pack it he sat back in the chair as he un-wrapped and opened the fresh box of cigarettes.
"So tell me, what's your name firefox. Mine's Gerard, no last name." Gerard removed one of the cigarettes, turned it tobacco side up and placed it in the pack, his lucky. He removed another and stuck it in his mouth closing the box and slipping it into his pocket with his right hand and lit the cigarette with his left hand. He took a small drag and took it out preparing to speak again. "Sorry for my improper manners but I don't think you smoke, do you?" He took another drag and held it in blowing a thick cloud of smoke upward.
"I suppose I should tell you why you're here. It's a very simple reason actually. I want some information about Yorani and the royalty that inhabit it. I'm asking you because," Gerard took a moment to chuckle at this and took another drag of his cigarette. "Well, I believe that's obvious enough isn't it?" Gerard smiled as he continued to smoke his cigarette and waited for her to respond.

She sat up slowly and stared at the cigarette in the man's hand. They were so disgusting, the smell especially. Why anyone would want to breathe in that ash, she didn't know. She shifted her shoulders slightly and growled lowly. Where the hell was her katana? This man, Gerard, did he dispose of it? Axel would not be pleased if Sage had to crawl back to him, begging for another weapon. She stood up now, grabbing onto a side table and leaning on it for support. "Sage Firefox." She didn't give out her name to many people, but see thought that perhaps if she got on this man's good side, she could learn a bit more about Yorani.
She made a little noise in the back of her throat which was actually her choking down a laugh. "You want me to tell you about Yorani?" This time, she actually did laugh out loud. Her parents had died on that world at a young age, meaning Sage left to live with her aunt, who was human and living on a different world. "I was only on Yorani for the first four years of my life. I can't remember a damned thing about that world for the life of me." She thought about the Firefox she saw at the beach that one day. Maybe Gerard should go find him and ask him about Yorani. She could give Gerard a description of this man, so that he could find this other Firefox and leave her alone.

How odd, she gave up her last name, or did she just not remember it? He took a final drag of his cigarette and looked for a trash can. Spotting one in the corner he took aim and flicked the cigarette. He smiled as it hit its target and turned his attention back to the girl. His short lived amusement shifted to a look irritation. So she had gone at the age of 4, well there went his lead. "Well that's rather irritating. Wouldn't have even brought all the stuff I did. Oh well I suppose I could at least have a vacation here for the time being..." Gerard spoke absentmindedly not really speaking to Sage and just speaking to himself.
"Well then Sage, would you happen to know if the world still exists or if there's somebody else I could speak to? After all it's been a while since I've been ho-, Gerard caught himself for a moment and cursed inwardly while trying to play it off as a cough. "Sorry about that. So tell me do you know anybody that could help?" With luck Sage wouldn't have caught that but he didn't let his irritation at himself show on his face.
Gerard then remembered his lie but it was pointless now, he no longer had a reason to hold her captive. It was time to apologize. "I suppose what I said no longer matters. Sorry for the trouble but this was an option I'd have preffered not to have taken. Your friends back on the Garden and I'll give you a ride back. I don't know if he's still alive though, I had some people give him treatment but I didn't stick around to see if he was alright. " Gerard stuck his hand out for a hand shake. He'd rather not have her friend as an enemy, much less her, she wasn't part of the royalty and there was no contract or bounty against her so he had no trouble with her anymore. He would only hope she saw it the same way but he had a sneaking suspicion that wouldn't be the case.
