In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Walking the streets of Twilight Town was a neat experience, but one may tend to get a little bored with it after a while. That is exactly how Erica felt. Shina sat on her usual place on her shoulder, her tail flicking back and forth as she watched for Heartless. Erica had Flare in her hand, as always, and was strumming out one of her songs. But everybody here already knew her and her music, and frankly it bored the people. So she decided to walk down the alleys and play for herself. It was actually pretty interesting, for she saw things about Twilight Town she had never got to see. Some really neat shops, a girl sitting down an alley drawing on a sketchboard, some new inns......"Wait a second...." whispered Erica, causing Shina to perk her ears up. She looked back at the girl and said, "Hey! Are you okay? Why are you down there?"
Namine looked up with confusion, her bright eyes wide in surprise. What? Was this girl... talking to her? She gave a quick look around the alleyway and then looked back to the standing figure.
"I'm... drawing," she said quietly, then looked back to her sketchbook. A boy with blonde hair. He had the same bright eyes she did. How she missed her memories of him. She often wondered if he remembered her... At all. She closed the book and stood up, smiling slightly. Possibly to try and forget that she missed him.
"Hello," she said, giving a small wave. She was petit, but still cute, and she held a serene, graceful pose as she folded the sketchbook behind her. "What's your name?
"Oh! I'm Erica!" said the musician, walking towards the girl, but still keeping her distance. She didn't want the girl to get the impression they were enemies. But, alas, the same could not be said for Shina. She ran up to the girl and nuzzled her leg, saying Hey! I'm Shina! What's your name? Erica laughed when Shina did that, never ceased to be amazed by the friendliness of her fox companion. She walked a little closer to the girl and said, "So, what do ya call yourself?" extending a hand as she did so.
A small, cute animal nuzzled her leg and she giggled, bending down to pet it. The lady with the guitar neared and she smiled.
"She's so cuuute!" Namine exclaimed, giggling still. She looked back up to the girl, who had a hand extended to her. Her sketchbook in one hand, she stood up and shook the lady's.
She looked down to her sandals, seeing the familiar pattern laced to the straps and saw the fox looking up at her. Its eyes shimmered with in unknown intelligence and she smiled at it. "Your fox is nice. I'm Namine."
Namine! That's such a pretty name! said Shina to Namine, trying to jump into her arms and nuzzle her. Laughing again, Erica sat down next to Namine and said, "Well, anyway, it's nice to meet you, Namine. Shina has taken a liking to you, so I'm assuming you're good. And I see you enjoy to draw." Erica looked up into the girl's face and grinned. "Personally, I could never draw good. I've played guitar all my life!" And, standing up and raising her hand, she caused Flare to appear in her hands in a flurry of blue fire. "I could teach you, if you'd like." she said as she eyed the girl over the bridge of Flare, trying to befriend the quiet girl.
Namine laughed again, petting the fox that lay in her arms. The animal was soft and lithe, and it curled up and nuzzled her cheek. Shina... That was the fox's name, as the woman had said. She nuzzled it back with her cheek, still smiling widely. She hadn't felt this relaxed in a while, and animals were so adorable.
She wished she could have a pet. She had never had one before, thanks to the Organization. She sighed mentally as she remembered Castle Oblivion. It had been horrible there. And she would have created a pet out of memories... But she didn't have any memories of pets. Not from anybody. Plus, any of the Nobodies' pets would probably have been psychotic.
Then, unexpectedly, the guitar woman, Erica, shot flames out of her hands. It startled her as the heat rushed around them, and she watched with surprise as the flames died away to become her guitar. Her eyes were opened wide as she looked at it. "Music... I've only listened to memory's music before, never the real thing."
A song, a lullaby, began to play in her head, one of the only songs she knew. ((Note, the song is Kairi III.) She wondered if all music was as tranquil and sweet as that song. "You would... teach me?" She gave another delicate smile. "I doubt I'd be any good."
Erica watched as Shina nuzzled the girl, obviously enjoying herself. She looked back at Namine and said, "Well, practice makes perfect. But I understand where you're coming from." She looked back at Shina, curled up in a ball now, and said, "Shina, has she noticed you talking to her yet? Shina seemed to shake her head no and said, For some reason, I can only convey my emotions to her. But don't worry, she's good. Watching as Namine ran a hand down the fox's back, she said, "So, where are you from, Namine? It must be lonely there, seeing as you'd rather be in an alley then there."
Namine shrugged and frowned. "I'm from a different World than this one, although mine was much more bleak. It didn't even have a real name, it was empty." Because it was a World of Nothing. A place in between Light and Darkness, Castle Oblivion was an enigma to both sides. Its origins and intentions were unclear, but Namine had the ability to tap into it and display memories onto the walls. That was why she was taken there immediately after her birth.
She let the frown fade and smiled. "But I'm happier here," she said. "I'm looking for a very old friend who lost his memories of me. Even if he can't get them back, I want to be with him again." Her blue eyes shimmered with nostalgia and happiness as she remembered the fun they had together. "We can build new memories together."
"My home world is one called Tranvia." Erica sat down again, holding Flare up by its neck. "My world is based on Cartomancy, or the use of cards for magical powers. I was actually a warrior there, using Flare here as my trusty weapon!" She laughed at that, remembering why she had made the guitar. "It's a strange weapon, but it's saved my life time after time. Well, anyway, my world's Keyhole opened and we don't have a Keyblade wielder to close it. So no one can return there until we find one." She blushed and said, "Sorry, Namine. I ramble when I'm remembeing stuff."
Namine wandered off in thought. Cards. She had been the creator of cards like that once. Every memory of every movement bestowed into a card. She had taken them all from Sora. And he had slowly regained them, until she was forced to once again take apart his memories. Cartomancy... Never again did she want to be a part of that.
Namine sat down next to the girl and leaned against the cool wall as the warm breeze floated through her favorite alley. The fox was so warm, and for some odd reason, she was beginning to think the voices she were imagining were... Real. She stared at the fox with confusion, their gazes meeting.
"It sounds like a wonderful adventure," she said slowly. "And are you... Speaking to me, Shina?"
Shina's eyes grew wide when Namine mentioned her talking to her She nodded and said, Yes, Namine! It's me! I'm so glad someone finally understands! She started to lick Namine's face, sure to bring more giggles up. Erica just sat, a small smile on her face as she watched her partner entertain this new girl. But she was also thinking......
"Namine, woud you mind if I helped you find your friend?" she said. "I feel that we met for a reason, and this may be it. Shina will help, of course." She looked up and said, "And in return, you can help me find my brother. I've looked for him for a long time, but I know he's alive....."
Namine started as the course tongue brushed her teeth, and indeed, she laughed. The fox was so smart! Meanwhile, her mind was on Roxas. She missed him. As much as Axel. And Sora, for that matter. Her eyes wandered off as she stroked Shina, remembering her own adventure. It hadn't been so wonderful. Full of sadness and pain... And it hadn't ended yet.
She had to be strong and find Roxas. Then, she could fulfill her promise with Sora, and they could meet again, as real people. They could start a clean slate, without the memories of Namine's dark past. She found a smile again as she pictured them eating ice cream atop the Twilight Town tower, just like Roxas used to do with Axel. She could be sitting next to them. With Sora. And maybe Kairi.
"Namine, would you mind if I helped yo find your friend?"
Namine was shocked. That would be wonderful. Met... For a reason? Namine pondered this as the woman continued. A lost brother. She had never known siblings, but it seemed reasonable that a loving sister would want to find her family. She nodded. "I would love to help you," she said slowly. "But my friend, he is... Going to be difficult to find." She bit the bottom of her lip as she looked to Erica. "I think he is asleep at the moment, but he will Awaken soon."
"I don't care if it'll be hard. We'll find him, no matter what it takes!" said Erica, exhilirated by the fact that Namine would help her find Arthas. "But, as for now, what do you want to do? I could go get us some ice creams?" At hearing that, Shina perked her ears up and said, Did you say ice cream? I'm in! She jumped down from Namine's arms and ran to Erica, who picked her up and put her on her shoulder. "C'mon Namine, It'll be fun!" said Erica, grinning.
Namine smiled and jumped to her feet. "Okay!" she said. "I'm in!" She grabbed her sketchbook from beside her, and the colors she kept with her, and stood beside the duo, looking into the glowing sunset. Just like old times...
A trio of friends eating ice cream.
~~~~ Time Skip: Got the Ice Cream ~~~~
Namine held two bars out to her friends, already wishing she could be munching on her own. The sweet smell of the wonderful substance was taunting her, and as soon as Erica had taken the two bars, she chomped on her own...
Resulting in immediate brainfreeze.
Ouch. She had never had the ice cream in real life, only in Sora's memories. And she hadn't expected this whatsoever. She giggled a little as she grabbed her forehead, leaning against a wall. "Wow!" she caid, but her laughter soon interrupted her words. Sora had memories of brainfreeze, but she had never experienced it herself. How... Awful, but funny!
"Nice one, Namine!" said Erica, laughing and chewing on her ice cream. "You're supposed to enjoy it, not attack it!" She looked over at the girl and smiled. "You know what, Namine? You're the first person that I've met here that has done this with me. It feels kinda cool." She put an arm around the girl and said, "Well, I guess this means we could be friends, right?" Shina crawled up to the other side of Namine, her tail swishing back and forth in hope.
