In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Sat against a tree, Darkun pondered in the shade about what had become of everyone. His mind ached, he couldn’t understand, he didn’t want to understand, just what in earth was going on!?
His left arm phased unintentionally, glancing down to it he pressed his will over it, making it turn back to normal. “What’s happening to me…? I can’t even keep concentrated with my powers.” He mumbled to himself.
Closing his eyes he drifted slowly into a slim sleep.
Sam sat next to him on a beach, holding hands together in the twilight sun. They whispered words of comfort to each other. He wanted to feel how he felt, to know what true love was… but it was impossible. With that thought Sam stabbed him, a large blade penetrating through Darkun’s chest. Mumbled words, red water scattered upon the golden sands. Sam faded away, snatched away, just like everyone always did.
Opening his eyes, he clenched his fists. What was the point anymore? Everyone he got close to just left him or disappeared. There was no one left, Caxnon hadn’t been seen in so long and he hadn’t even sensed his shadow, Antique, he hadn’t felt her either, Sam had completely gone and hated him and Lily… where was Lily?
The winds gave a comfortable breeze as it wrapped around him, calming him. He had to try and keep himself, even if nobodies aren’t real he had something, he had memories of his friends, hopefully that would be enough to keep him sane… but the question was, for how much longer.
((I'm putting this after my current one in Traverse. I'm going to make a few assumptions about that thread, like that I don't die and finally manege to buy a sheath for that sword.))
Twilight town was full of loose ends for Lily. So many people she'd met and never seen again - the green-haired boy who incinerated people, the gray man, Darkun who'd run away with out a word, that other guy with the fireproof coat who had been so very very wrong about the sunlight - seriously, what had been up with him?
So when she teleported down into the forest instead of the town where she'd been aiming, she figured this was going to be the long kind of trip. There wasn't even a port spot here.
Well. It seemed quiet enough her the second, so Lily took a look at the map in her dex. Town was that way, and as you had to have a direction to walk, that seemed like a good one. She set out, humming whatever came in to her head without thinking about it.
((Cause teleporter malfunctions are traditional, not cliche!))

Head propping up, Darkun sensed a shadow appear out of nowhere. It had just appeared in the forest before the mansion… and it felt familiar.
His eyes fell closed as he focused in through the shadows on who’s it was… “Li—“ Before he could finish the name he had already shadow stepped to her, flickering through the shadows it was only moments before he appeared directly behind a young girl.
His hat was missing so his mid length azure blue hair hung down, something that Lilly had probably not seen before “—lly?” he finished before staring up at the back of her head.
“Is that you? What are you doing on Twilight?” he smiled, he would have been happy to see her, it had been so long and there was so much he could tell her… but, what’s the point, she’d probably run off and hate him…
The only thing really on her mind was the vague thought that Graceland was plain too hard to hum, and where had that come from anyway? And then Lily whirled, hand dropping towards her hip and the blade there in a way that her first several teachers would have been gladdened to see, and then the sight and sound registered.
"Darkun?!" Her grin split wide across her face, crinkling her eyes. "Look at you!" She was delight itself, reaching out to give his hair a tug where a bit of it spilled over his shoulder. "You've been walking out of my sight a while -- You lost the hat!" The words didn't mean a lot, but the tone was all gladness and glee.

Looking to his side he had Lilly tugging on his hair. He hadn’t cut it in quite a while… when did he cut it last… “ The hat kinda… met an untimely end” he half smiled looking at her. “ And what do you mean look at me, you’re the one that’s reaching for a blade, a little sword master now are we.”
“And as for the out of your sight bit. It’s probably because I spend more time in the shadows than I do out of them. A lot has changed since we firs met Lilly. And that includes my memories. I remember everything” His eyes twanged guiltily as he glanced down at the floor briefly before returning to eye contact. “ I know exactly who I am and what’s happened to me.”
Forcing a smile upon his face Darkun wondered what Lilly had been doing, he had left her all that time ago… was it a year and a half? 2 years? He had lost track of how long ago it was that they first met, quite a while by any terms. “ So what’s happened with you?” he asked politely.
"Aw, com'on. You not gunna leave me hanging like that - really?" Her laughing eyes where warm and bright, though the saw the guilt and pain in his and how he smothered them.
Okay." She ticked points off on her fingers. "I'm here to buy some new shirts - I've worn out too many - and I've been wandering about on a gummi ship, exploring different worlds and trying not to get killed. You know, adventuring." She shrugged, and stuck her thumbs in her belt. "It's been kinda aimless, but fun. Your turn!"

What could he really tell her? “ Well… I’ve been here and there. My powers have increased to the point that I don’t know if I actually have a limit anymore. If there is one I don’t know, never had a need to push it that far” chuckling to Lilly as he spoke; he smiled wondering how long it would be before he had to tell her the awful truth behind it all.
He glanced at the treetops, the cool breeze that flitted through them bringing with it the occasional beautiful green leaf to the floor. “ Hey Lily” he said, his tone dropping to a more serious one, the joking ness. “ Remember when we found this?” placing a hand towards Lilly a shadow formed in front of her solidifying into a small messy brown leather book. Notes seemed to be poking out the edges. “ Well, that was the start and thanks to you I found it. Its all thanks to you I remembered everything.”
He brought his face up smirking a complete false smirk; he wasn’t even pretending to feel emotions anymore, just being as he was, a nobody. “ A lot happened, would you still like me, even after these two years, if I was something you hated?” the question was awkward for him to speak, it didn’t seem to come out properly.
"Huh. That's a question and a half. Something I hated?" She thought about that one - he should get a real thought-out answer, and not just 'cause she wasn't sure he'd believe a declaration. She half-turned, inviting him with a gesture to walk with her.
Finally - "I don't know."
"I don't know - I've never really run into that situation. i could go on about the thing part, and generalizations and how I had dove my teacher nuts up though forth grade over them, and I could also go on about deserving to be hated and how it's got be earned. I could do that till your ears fell off. So, I'm going to boil it down to Try me."

Darkun began walking beside her, listening to her as she talked. It was fun, being with her again, her seemingly out of context chat which actually made sense in some kind of strange way.
“Try me” was the two words that caught his attention. Was she serious? Was she really prepared to hear what he had to say? Should he tell her?
Biting his lip he walked a few steps in front of her. Standing directly in her path he looked into her eyes, not putting on the fake emotion, he let his eyes show what a nobodies eyes would show. Nothingness. “I’m not a human.” It was a good start, rather than saying the N word he could just state what he wasn’t. But he needed to use the N word eventually, he needed to tell her. “I’m a nobody Lilly. I’m the thing that you kill, the thing that I hated, the thing that we all hate. I am one of them.”
He stood, staring directly into her eyes, hoping that the blank eyes and expression would be enough proof to show her that he was serious. He didn’t know what else to say, he tried to keep himself solid, his mind was screaming for him to shadow step away, he held fast and regardless of what was coming next, a punch, a slap, a stab, he was willing to take it.
Lily, with her thumbs in her belt, rolled her eyes like she hadn't even seen his skittishness. "Well, that explains why you took off when we saw that word. I guess. But you know," she gave him a conspiratorial look. "I think you're laboring under a misconception. I mean, I'a never been one for genocide." No, wait, that probably needed to be clarified -- see? I can learn!
"I kill things," she explained, "that are trying to kill me. Are you trying to kill me?" she asked rhetorically, patiently.

Not catching on to the rhetorical question he replied. “But what if something happened, and I became exactly like them… then I might try to hurt you” he whispered as they continued on, he was so deep in thought he wasn’t even paying attention to the worlds shadows. For the first time in along time his mind was cleared of being constantly aware of the entire world, it was so relaxing, so soothing.
Honestly, if things continued with him having to keep focused on the entire world, he would loose his mind, being aware of a world was very difficult to cram into a brain.
“So, you don’t hate me?” he asked awkwardly as he turned over to her.
Lily made a little 'pff' noise. "Which 'they' we talking about here? Seriously, I've never been much good at being scared, and far as I can tell that makes it hard to hate. Long as you aren't secretly running gulags, we're good."

Darkun smiled at Lilly, so he did have a friend left. He wasn’t alone for now. “So what have you been doing with your time? You look… stronger.” It was hard to explain, of course its impossible for a person to look stronger but something about her just looked like she was stronger than when they first met.
“I still can’t believe… it’s been two whole years since that day.” He quickly reminisced about what had happened that day, the journal that contained so many secrets, and that word that made him flip out.
“Oh, that reminds me, I never did apologise for leaving you” he said with a smirk as they walked through the wooded area, the only wooded area on this entire planet.
"Stronger? Huh." She looked down at her arms curiously.
"Well, you haven't had the chance, have you? I am gonna try to steal that book off you and finish it, though. I mean, I only got about four pages in, last time," she informed him cheerfully. "And I still don't get what all these people are so freaked about. I swear everybody here thinks shadow equals evil. Even the people who walk in it - heck, even the people made of it, and they really ought to know better."

Feeling quite embarrassed by the fuss that he had made over something that she didn’t seem bothered about at all. He flicked his hand back upwards the book appearing once more. “It’s yours. I’ve read it several times and committed it to memory. There’s no secrets left within it for me.” Slowly he passed it over to her.
He took a few more steps before turning back towards her. “It’s glad though… that you haven’t been hurt, it’s nice to see you. Especially in once piece. I wish I could have been there to help you all this time.” His waist length azure blue hair fell down to one side as he smiled slowly. “So who do you hang around with these days?”
