In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"Cool," she said, taking the book. She'd read it later, for now she tucked it under one arm.
"Yeah, mostly. I'm a little banged up around the edges, but I got stupid for a while there. I'm much better now."
Ha! Real smile! He'd stopped paying attention. So not calling him on it yet, though, answer the question first.
"My friend Shiro's been letting me bunk on his ship for a long time now, which is cool, cause really that whole hijacking the Heartless-ship thing was a really bad idea. It worked! But yeah. Bad idea. They don't land too well. But anyway, there's..... Oh, them. So there's these people - there's four of them - they call 'emselves the Light Warriors and I don't know where they got the idea, and I'm pretty sure if they could ever be bothered to all be in the same place at the same time, they'd be one of the biggest threats to peace and stability in all the verse, ever. But I never seem to see them all at once, and really I haven't seen any sign of them in a long time now, and I'm kind of glad. Which sounds bad, I know, but I think if I'd seen Black Mage - Oh yes, and that's his name, as far as either of us could figure out, they're all like that - but I think I would have killed him. Just cause I tend to take someone trying to stab me in the face to count as deadly harm and after that it's self defense. That and all the talk of burning down orphanages. It would have been comical if he hadn't been [/i]right there[/i]. It was kind of funny, it was so over the top. But still, it would have ended up with one of us dead.
"But you asked about current, anyway. So - Huh. Shiro. And I keep running into Ienzo. He's either a really really good actor, or he's hardcore terrible at being a villain, I haven't decided. I'm operating on the assumption it's the latter, though. I'm thinking he was only calling himself that because, well, it's a racial trait, right? So you're stuck with it, right?
"I mentioned I got kind of stupid for a while, right? Part of that, I didn't really hang out with anyone for a while. I didn't seek out anybody's company."
She rambled on, cheerfully monologuing her way up the gentle slope of the ground.

He felt a tad awkward he didn’t really know what to say to her. He wanted something but didn’t know how to ask, the words just wouldn’t come. He opened his mouth once making a soft “uh” sound but then looked back and his mouth closed as the words got dried up in his throat.
Pushing the thought out of his mouth he looked back at her. “ Its nice that you’re doing so well. I wish we had met again earlier. I missed you” Darkun spoke, seriously, these fake emotions were good, even though he knew they were just fake, they felt real, and that’s all that really mattered to him.
Lily gave him a gentler smile than the wicked grin she generally favored. "Well, we'll have to make up for it then, nha? Are you up to much these days?"
“Not really. I just travel about, watching people. Its quite boring really, I want some adventure… something to do or something to happen but nothing ever does.” He pulled a shadow up and without paying much attention to what he was doing, played with it in his hands changing it from shape to shape first making a double helix then a bi concave shape.
“Oh yeah, I learnt how to do this!” he said slightly excitedly, he pressed his hands to the shadow and it turned to a solid, a power that she already knew that he possessed, now he pressed it again and it wavered around in the air, a liquid. Pressing it a final time it dispersed into a black mist. “ Cool eh?”
“So. What adventures have you been on? Have they been fun?”
"Oh, that's neat -- It's like the stages of matter! You've been practicing!"
"What is this," she laughed, "an interview? Nha, lemme see. I've been -- well, I've been on one lately where I found myself in a place where every land was separate, isolated, by empty airless space, and so every land was culturally so different - but they all spoke the same tongue. And it was all somehow united under one political umbrella, a high king thing, and under one fear. And physics proved itself wrong on nearly every front."

For a scary moment the thought that passed through Darkun’s mind was haunting, he almost muttered it aloud but managed to stop himself. I wonder how long it would take to end it Instead he quickly made his mouth say a more pleasant comment. “That sounds really fun.” His ball of gas fell to the floor slowly and seeped back into his shadow.
“I wish I was as lucky as you” he mumbled looking up to her. “You get to go everywhere and have so much fun. Where as I just stay here. Nothing interesting ever happens, the occasional person like Limber pops by but no one ever stays with me forever, I want to go and meet people but I haven’t developed shadow stepping enough to be able to travel to places I haven’t been before.”
He glanced upwards at the canopy of trees that only aloud a small amount of sunshine to glimmer on through. The rays that did go through looked amazing, as the beams of golden light made the grass beneath them look a shimmering emerald green. He really liked this wood; it was his favourite place in Twilight Town. “Actually… Why did you come back to Twilight Town?” he queried.
"You've been though a time of it, haven't you?" It was an observation she couldn't have supported, she couldn't say why she thought that. It was just an impression that had grown as she talked to him.
"Anyway! Shirts. Honestly, it's that I need new shirts, I've been wearing them out at an alarming rate. There's some good secondhand shops here, and that's always worth a look. I'll show you. Cause maybe it doesn't work this way for everyone, but luck is luck, and adventure is --" And she yelped, tumbling backward. She was walking backwards a little ahead of him, gesticulating and not paying a bit of attention to where she was going, and her footing wasn't where she'd thought it'd be.
The gentle slope of the ground had ended in a short drop-off, and she'd tumbled right off, landing with a thump.

Darkun watched her walking back, a time of it… “ Yeah… something like that” he mumbled watching as she started walking backwards and talking about shirts. “ Yeah, there are a few places.”
He didn’t want to be rude “ eh Li—“ but the talk of Shirts continued, the warning he was going to inform her of must of become quite apparent as she fell tumbling down the slope.
Walking towards the edge her leaped down the slope landing near her. “ There was a slope there… Just incase you missed it” his sarcastic smile etched into his face. “As for the shirts, I could… probably do with new cloths….” He looked to the cloths… the same cloths that he had been wearing for the last two years. “ At least I’ve lost the hat,” he mumbled.
“Would you mind if… I came with you… just for a little bit?” he asked, he really wanted to be with Lilly again.
"Oof....." Like that wasn't already bruised. Ow ow ow -- "I'm good!"
Lily passed up commenting on the state of his clothes in favor of, "Well, that saves me the trouble of kidnapping you. I'd love the company."
She sat up gingerly and looked around, finding herself in a patch of little blue flowers, growing in the shade. "Huh."
She looked up at the canopy, just to make sure, and decided that yes, the sun would go like that, and therefore -- "Okay, that's not even what we where talking about, but that's too good a piece of symbolism to waste," she laughed.

Darkun stared at her… wow, Lilly was one confusing person, and she started mumbling about symbolism, Darkun didn’t understand a thing. Following her gaze all her saw were some flowers growing, moving gently in the breeze covered by the canopy.
“Erm… yea.” He mumbled trying to make it look like he totally understood.
"So what kind of shirts do you want to buy?" he asked curiously then he thought of something... "And... what kind of shirts should I buy?" he had never been shopping, he had always just been fine as he was, being a shadow meant that he could just make dirt fall off so his cloths were always clean and if they tore he'd just repair them with a black shadow stitch.
He faced himself towards the large hole that would take them towards the shops. “ Shall we?” he said as he began happily walking through the grassy forest towards what would be a great day.
"Oy, I just said it was too good to waste! You're not getting out of it that easy!" She snagged at his arm.
"See, when I say things that don't make sense, you have to give me a chance to expound on them. I mean," she said, eyes sparking and tongue firmly in cheek, "It don't work unless people have a chance to appreciate my genius."
"Oh, yes - or rather, I haven't the foggiest idea what kind it is. But they're shade dwellers, which makes them a lovely piece of symbolism. To much light and they would die, see. But here -- and this is the bit where I would pick one and stick it in your collar, but it would just wither in a few hours and that would lessen the impact -- here in the shadows it puts down roots and blooms." She grinned.

"In the shadows... it blooms?" He was starting to understand. " So its like me?" He was starting to understand what she meant by symbolism and quite liked the idea that it wasnt just him that lurked in the shadows, flowers did aswell.
"When you put it that way, I guess they are nice" He smiled again starin at the pretty flowers and then to her. It was nice, this, nothing important to do just lazing around with friends.
"Do you think I should spread these flowers?" He smiled at the thought.
"It's even blue-headed," she laughed. And they were, matching his hair startlingly well.
It was nice here, and she loved forests, though how something could make you both more and less homesick at the same time was beyond her. Oh, well. There it was. But new friends were better than homesickness.
"You'd want to know a lot more about them before you did that, so they didn't end up like kudzu or mongooses. I'd bet they have a deal with the bugs about it, though." She tilted her head, trying to decide if he was ready to go, or if he needed to stay her and watch a while longer.
