Name: Ludor Cronqvist
Nickname(optional): Loony Ludor, That odd, odd, very very odd little boy. The Devil-Tongued Lord (Dark XII title)
Age: Appears to be only 23, mostly due to an age complex Ludor has.
Gender: Male (Attempts to assert manliness but fails at doing so.)
Species: Heartless
Position: Dark XII member number X
Powers:Gamble of the Die: Rather than pick a specialty heartless that he can control, Ludor prefers to roll a die and summon up whatever comes up. The die is labelled from 1-6 and is as follows: 1 – Five Shadow Heartless, 2 – Three Soldier Heartless, 3 – Two Gargoyle Heartless, 4 – Two Defender Heartless, 5 – Two Angel Star Heartless, 6 – Two Invisible Heartless. Ludor can roll the die up to 3 times, and has no control over exactly what the heartless do. All he can do is give them an objective and watch them carry it out.
Depression Sigh: Ludor is a nobleman and sees things in a predator versus prey aspect. Due to this, he likes to play with the populace of other worlds and satiates his hunger by lightly feeding on other's hearts. Although Ludor can eat a heart completely, his personality makes it so that he feels weak after as a form of shame for himself. Ludor can breath in deeply and sucks in a little bit of the light and darkness from those around him and uses it to feed himself when need be. This results in those around him feeling more depressed, down to the level where they may be more susceptible to falling to the dark side. Ludor can also use this to hide his nature as a heartless and walk amongst normal people and create his own food by befriending others and making them happy, then to suck away their happiness at certain times. In theory, if Ludor can permanently keep someone in a cycle of happiness and despair then he would never have to feed on hearts.
Dark Mask: If Ludor can stand it long enough, he can hide all signs of him being a heartless and walk around as if he were an average person. This mask is weak though. In the presence of light magic, Ludor eventually reverts to his real personality and will usually summon heartless and retreat back to the World that Never Was.
Dominance and Renewal: If Ludor chooses to do so, he can absorb the darkness of anyone he defeats and gain random powers based on their own. Currently, this ability only grants him basic heartless abilities such as traveling through other worlds and an affinity to darkness but randomly Ludor will show abilities and qualities of other heartless (though this may or may not be useful) such as being able to phase into the ground like a Shadow. When this ability activates is totally random and the ability may even lash out against him as he cannot control it till he dominates and controls the darkness the ability is linked to. So far the only ones he's dominated is the Shadow which gives him the ability to phase into the floor and teleport, and the Wizards which allows him to cast any mid-level spell. An odd joke power that Ludor has dominated is the ability to summon a troop of Skeletons to lift him up on a portable throne and carry him where ever he likes.
3 Faces of Aguni (Aguni is Sanskrit for Fire or Agony): Ludor has only used this ability to it's fullest once before, and doing so made him one of the more creepy members of the Dark XII. When Ludor is forced to fight one on one, his anger and malice transforms him into three consecutive forms that each have their own strengths, weaknesses and powers. The transformations always go in this order: The Wiseman of Waking Despair, The Warrior of No Dreams, and The Beast of Endless Nightmare. Ludor usually fights alone in these forms, as heartless cannot exist around him due to his Depression Sigh going berserk and instantly sucking in the darkness around him. More powerful heartless can withstand this, but they will also have their strength drained over time. Due to this, Ludor can easily be ganged up on by teams of people. Ludor is also completely weak after he's gone through his three phases and usually feels sick as his three phases make him berserk enough to actually consume hearts.
The Wiseman of Waking Despair: When in this form, Ludor becomes 9 feet tall and is shrouded in a massive black cloak with arms that seem to be made from blades and a black mask over his face. He seems to twitch eerily as if he's attempting to hold himself back from going berserk and speaks in limericks. Ludor keeps his arms almost constantly crossed over his chest and walks slowly, never running or even jumping. He can dodge others by teleporting, and quickly slash with his claws but this leaves him open. Ludor gains the ability to cast high-level spells, along with darkness spells that seem to be random in their effects and power. Ludor is wide open when casting a spell, and can only cast one spell per post.
The Warrior of No Dreams: If beaten or if enough time has passed, the cloak falls away to reveal Ludor's second form. It is a complete opposite of his 1st form and he becomes a sword-wielding warrior with considerable speed and power. Ludor can also form a defensive shell by use of combining the long hair he has in this form along with the shields on his arms. Wielding his sword easily with one hand, Ludor also likes to mix up his combat by using his off hand for attacks such as punching. The weakness is that as Ludor pushes himself more and more, he comes closer to becoming the Beast of Endless Nightmares and this can become so bad that he kneels down on the ground in pain trying to keep control.
The Beast of Endless Nightmares: If beaten or if Ludor pushes himself too much, he becomes a terrible beast that seems to be make of spiked crystals. Ludor grows to a staggering 18 feet in size and loses all sense of control as he destroys anything within his sight. He can fire the crystals on his body like bullets if need be, as they regrow after being ejected. Ludor can also detonate himself like a bomb and shower a whole area in high speed crystals but this drains his power completely. Ludor does nothing but slash and stomp wildly, running around like an animal so his tactics are quite predictable. Although he can withstand many attacks, his eyes and underbelly are soft and weak and provide many attack opportunities. Ludor can also roll into a spiked ball, but this only provides defense if he were to spin and gain momentum by being pushed down a ramp or something.
If Ludor is defeated or drains himself too much, he is completely and utterly helpless (and unconscious to boot) and the only way to save him is if someone ports him out of the area. Ludor is then bedridden for a week and must be attended to, along with him having to consume large amount of darkness to regenerate himself.
Weapon:Ludor wields no weapons normally except his wit, a die, and a back hand slap that could tear your skin off.
Picture(optional):Ludor, normal appearanceLudor when with heartless natureFull Body shot with coat stylePosingWiseman of Waking DespairWarrior of No DreamsBeast of Endless NightmaresAppearance:Overall, Ludor retains the look of a young nobleman in the prime of his youth. Ludor was actually older than this before he became a heartless, but he retains the aging complex he had when he was still a normal person. Dressing completely against what is thought a heartless would dress as, Ludor's outfit is composed of a black shirt with a long blue and white coat with a fur ring that he either wears as a coat or attaches to his shoulders as a cape. He has bright golden eyes that shine intensely, especially when he'd feeling evil and has a characteristic smile on his face at almost all times. He's 6 feet tall, with handsome features that allow him to woo normal women and he seems to be drawing off an almost vampiric source for the way he acts and dresses.
Halloween Town: Ludor is entirely dressed like a modern vampire either in a jet black suit with a crimson ascot, or a vivid crimson cape along with the suit.
Pride Lands: Ludor takes the form of a snow leopard with dark blue spots that retains the coat for some odd little reason.
Personality:Ludor is both a complex, and deceptively simple person. He's not a fighter by nature, he's a talker and a deceiver, he works by playing on his enemy's emotions and making them believe a lie. He's simple in that all he wants is to have fun, and as long as whatever orders he's given sound fun he'll carry them out without question. He's usually a rather kind individual, always willing to help someone out in a pinch (that he probably caused himself) and being a generally upstanding citizen who defends women at a moment's notice, but it all seems to be part of a master plan. Ludor can spend tons of time planning, sometimes it takes minutes, hours, even DAYS and he will still be planning till he figures it out completely. His true self actually treats others with a sort of pitying disdain as he considers himself one of the few noble heartless in the legions and asserts his authority as if he's the lord of a country.
Ludor has quirks though. He's obsessed with his age and almost always looking in a mirror and stressing over how young he looks. When he gained knowledge of how he looked as a Nobody, he actually broke down into tears at how old he looked as Ludor was simply shocked that even as a Nobody he would do that to himself. Another quirk is that Ludor uses many, many styling products in order to keep himself in check, despite the fact that as a heartless he could just keep his appearance the same constantly if he wanted. Ludor shows effort only when absolutely needed, which explains how much he hates using his 3 Faces of Aguni ability so much. Finally, Ludor dislikes being called "creepy" or wierd as he tries his best to be called things like suave or handsome. Unfortunately, his looks coupled with his attitude have instantly made him hear how creepy he is over and over. When he hears this, he screams something along the lines of "SONAAAAAA!! (NO WAAAAY!)" and ends up keeled over on the ground in denial.
History/Background:Ludor's life began as the son of a politician on Hollow Bastion. Throughout life, Ludor dealt with being called creepy and his mother and father dressed him in a manner that always made him seem more mature than the rest of the children which earned him the nickname "Oji-san" and is where his age complex began. Ludor grew up learning how to talk his way out of situations and even learning how to gamble properly which is a skill both he and his nobody share. At the age of 16, Ludor finally met a girl named Lisa who was the first person to think he wasn't creepy and just an average kid trying to deal with his problems. This made the boy happy to no end and once they were both 20, Ludor married Lisa and took his father's place on the council in Hollow Bastion and even met Ansem the Wise.
Ludor's relationship with Ansem was as a good aqquaintance at best. They would occassionally sip tea and have intelligent discussion, but they could never truly consider one another friends and thus Ludor would have no need of Ansem until Lisa died. Ludor was grief stricken at her death and damned everything around him until he finally blamed god for stealing Lisa from him and wanted to defy him. This is when Ludor found out about Ansem researching the darkness and kept a close eye on it as he supported whatever answers could be found in the darkness. He considered Ansem a hero of sorts, for Ludor deluded himself into thinking that he could bring Lisa back by finding her in the darkness.
When Hollow Bastion became overrun by heartless, Ludor willingly gave up his heart to defy god and the light, wishing to be able to travel the darkness in order to find Lisa. Joining and taking his seat amongst the Dark XII, Ludor provides some of the tactical planning with his mind and helps trick weak-hearted rulers into giving over their worlds to the darkness.
Role Playing Sample:"Fuuuuuu... jeez it's hot. Can't you freaks go any faster?" Ludor demanded to his caravan as they marched along, carrying the semi-spoiled lord through the jungles of the... err... Deep Jungle. Ludor sat in his throne, lieing back as he fanned himself with a chinese fan, a look of bitter annoyance on his face as he stared up at the endless canopy. Dressed in his usual coat, the fur ring did not sway as it usually did as the stagnant, hot air simply did nothing but annoy those who were not used to it.
"Maybe if you didn't wear a freaking waistcoat to a jungle you wouldn't be complaining now, would you..." One skeleton murmured softly as he shifted shoulders. With a small "Eh?" from Ludor, his eye twitched before he leaned forward to the skeleton and gave him an angry look. His eyes were wide and his smile was larger, his hair had suddenly become messy and he had the general aura of a maniac. "You don't like how I dress? Huh? Do ya peasant?" Ludor asked with a heartless ominousness to his voice, just waiting for the right answer.
The skeleton forze up and looked back, giving the best nervous smile he could physically manage, but before he could get out his reply his foot slipped through the canopy they were marching on. Poor Ludor had forgotten that you could slip through them and within what seemed like a split second, Ludor was hanging from a tree branch for his life, his jaw open wide in disbelief as he saw the skeletons and throne spiral off into the dark. About to utter how close the situation was, he squeeked in fear when he heard the undeniable cracking of the branch he was clinging to. "
Mother! " Was all he could squeek like a mouse before he was screaming like a sissy and falling through the air. Praying for the best, Ludor threw up his die and really hoped that he would summon something that could fly.
His prayers were answered as he hit 5 and two Angel Stars appeared to his aid! Of course, after the initial happiness swept by, Ludor realized that Angel Stars have no arms and went back into panic. Fortunately for Ludor, Angel Stars knew how to levitate things and they floated him back up to the top of his canopy to his utter relief and thanks. Ludor took a moment and calmed himself down, taking a look to the left, and then to the right slowly. Green. Green, green, and more unholy green. It was then that Ludor came to a very pitiful realization as he put his hands to his head, looked up at the sky and simply cried one thing.
"WHERE AM IIIIIIIII!?!?!?!?"
