In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

While still catching his breath, Sir Lucas witnessed the failed attempt of Atlantace to open the door that was their only exit of this cellar laboratory. A sigh escaped his lips. Of course the door wouldn't budge easily. Their struggle to leave was still not over. But the positive part was that this truly was the last obstacle for them to overcome.
Tired the Wolf Knight righted himself on the small landing. Looking closely at the door and the small amount it had buckled under Atlantace his kick. Preferable Sir Lucas would have bashed against it with his shoulder. Making use of his entire bodyweight and the added armor. But the landing was to short to build up a decent run to the door.
Taking in a couple of deep breaths, Sir Lucas appealed to his strength once more as he led out a hard kick with his metal greaves at the door. The shock echoed through the large room. The metal creaked some more as a hinge popped off from the wall. The contours of the door twisted as daylight was shining in brightly through the narrow split. The rush of fresh air passing along the faces of Sir Lucas and Atlantace. Freedom beckoning them both.
Sir Lucas tried the handle, but even though the door moved a bit, it was still stuck and wouldn't open. Still it was loose and not far from being forced open completely. Glancing at Atlantace, Sir Lucas said:" One more time should suffice." He awaited for his companion to be ready, so that they could join forces and make the final push to liberation.
Atlantace watched the door buckle again and frowned. "Sheesh... they must have invested a lot of time and money into this place."
Nodding to Sir Lucas, Atlantace counted down. "Ok, Three, Two, One!"
Hopefully, the combined force of the two powerful kicks would be enough to bust the door down.
The door flew off of its hinges, crumpled and probably not getting repaired any time soon. Atlantace chuckled, looking to the sky, which was a bright Salmon pink from the last of the sunset. Ok Bloodbane, we're out.
There was a creature floating above the clouds, tiny looking because of its great distance from the observers on the ground. It wheeled off, descending rapidly, flapping a pair of great wings against the sky to slow the dive.
As the enormous creature came closer, Atlantace smiled, seeing his companion Bloodbane approach. The Dragon stopped about sixty feet from the two adventurors, and the magnificent wings folded as the large bodied creature shook himself like a cat. The enormous head came down toward the ground, and Atlantace reached up and placed his hand on one of the enormous nose scales, his hand barely covering it.
The dragon was huge. If it were to rest its head on the ground, that alone would be almost taller than Atlantace. Bloodbane’s scales were a tan-ish earth color, with thin bands of green alternating with the thick bands of tan. His head was angular yet fluid, the shape making a soft sweep from the two horns on top down to above the eyes, and then an opposite curve to the nose, with a strong jaw line (as all dragons have). There were extremely bulky muscles on his shoulder blade area, which flowed into a pair of leathery wings that are larger than the midsection and neck of the dragon. A webbed spine ran down the back of Bloodbane’s neck, stopping before his back, and then continued down to the tip of the muscular tail.
A large pair of golden eyes focused upon Sir Lucas, and a soft rumble emanated from the large beast as he extended his neck forward, sniffing. He seems to be quite strong...
Atlantace smiled. "Sir Lucas, please allow me to introduce you to my brother, Bloodbane. He shall be our transportation."
The dragon bobbed his head, as if bowing. Atlantace was slightly concerned, internally- he hoped Sir Lucas wouldn't react too badly... after all, here was a legend made into life, standing before him- but some people didn't always like that.
As the mighty Bloodbane was descending, Sir Lucas saw the dragon creature growing larger and larger. His woodbrown eyes spurred wide open as his pale skin seemed to become even more white. There it was, diving toward them in the sky. A large dragon, just like the legend and the myth's of his world. Fear started to master the Wolf Knight. Every fiber in his body was compelling him to turn around and flee. As Bloodbane landed and lowered his head, Sir Lucas couldn't help but recoil himself from the huge beast. Nearly returning through the door of the castle. Realizing how the huge creature could easily swallow them both whole with one single bite.
Sir Lucas would have fled, if it wasn't for Atlantace. Seeing him standing without fear and welcoming the beast. The Wolf Knight's fear was replaced by amazement as Atlantace placed his hand on the large nose of the dragon. The dragon acted tame and non-aggressive. No intention of attack could be sensed coming from the great beast. This encouraged Sir Lucas enough to hold his ground. Although his entire body kept being tensed up. As the large golden eye then focused in his direction, the Wolf Knight felt it's gaze pierce right through him. Still, in the eye itself there was something he didn't expect the find. A spark of intelligence, an eye full of wisdom and understanding. But mostly of tranquility and peace. It was when Sir Lucas stared back into the eye of the dragon, that his fear was truly starting to sink away.
"Sir Lucas, please allow me to introduce you to my brother, Bloodbane. He shall be our transportation."
Sir Lucas stepped forward, his arms and legs heeding his command once more. The flame of bravery that was kindling now blazing high again. Atlantace was an honest and noble man, he trusted him. And so he would trust him now again. As he neared the two he spoke: "In my world, dragons have always been the symbol of evil. Harbingers of death and destruction. Reapers of souls, damning them to eternal torment... But this is not my world, this is not one such dragon. Atlantace, if thou claim him to be your brother then so be it."
Sir Lucas then stopped as he arrived at only a meter or 2 from the massive head. And then kneels courteously while bowing his head for Bloodbane. Paying his respects to such a fearsome creature. Thanking it for it's help and gentle nature.
Atlantace noticed the fear in Sir Lucas- but he was happy to see that that fear was banished as quickly as it had appeared.
"Well, Dragons have different symbols on different worlds, and unfortunately many are seen as evil. However, they usually do something to earn their evil prejudice- most commonly it would be causing death and destruction, and hoarding treasure. But as there are different personalities in humans, there are in Dragons. I was lucky- Bloodbane here is free from the dark taint that many of his brethren have."
Atlantace, let him know that I acknowledge him, and ask him to rise. Then, tell him to ready himself, as we will be leaving shortly. Once you get aboard, we will discuss the possible destinations where he will find someone that can further help him.
In response to Lucas's kneeling, Bloodbane bobbed his own head, while Atlantace relayed what he had said: "Please, Sir Lucas; Rise. Bloodbane wishes for you to ready yourself, as we will be leaving no sooner than that. Also, he said that he has a destination in mind, where your questions will be answered, for the most part."
Atlantace dusted himself off, looking toward the sky. He had spent the entire morning searching for Aushe- and had a sinking feeling that his King had either moved to another world, or maybe another plane of existence. A heavy sigh escaped the blond as he secured the Ranseur to his back, and adjusted his armor. Atlantace, looking at Sir Lucas, nodded.
"Well, I'm ready to go. Whenever you are ready, Bloodbane will transport us into the control room. Just say the word."
As the Dragon Knight spoke, Bloodbane rumbled lightly, straightening and stretching his wings, ready to fly. Whenever the Wolf knight gave the word, the two would be transported into the bridge, a smallish room, tall enough for Atlantace to not worry about bumping his head, and wide enough for three people to sit comfortably in the chairs in front of the computer displays.
There was one opening, in the stern-ward part of the room- a hallway leading to the living area of the ship. The hallway was wide enough for two people, shoulder to shoulder, and slightly shorter in height than the bridge area.
In the living area, there was an area with a modern stove and cooking area, along with a table and six chairs. there were twelve one person beds, bunked in pairs along the walls, with footlockers at each one. Beyond the living area was the training area and a small armory, for making basic repairs. Of course, Atlantace would give the wolf knight a tour of these areas, once they were aboard.
As Sir Lucas gave his word to be ready, he wasn't expecting the following. When both got transported into the bridge, the Wolf Knight felt himself confused and desoriënted. He could no longer see the dragon, and the inside of the gummi ship was also a completely new sight to him. Reminding him of the advance computers and technology they witnessed in the castle of Ansem.
After the tour he exclaimed as he realized they were inside Bloodbane:" Were in the belly of the beast?! But how, this is not how a stomach would look. Surely we'll be digested!" The rooms and chairs reminded Sir Lucas of strong fishermen tales of being swallowed up alive by large whales and surviving inside for some time. But what he saw here twarthed his imagination.
Of course in the time that followed, the explanations and adaption would slowly put the stressed mind of the medieval knight to ease. The volley of culture shocks and acknowledging this advanced civilizations was wearing down on the mental reserves of the knight. Making him more tired then any battle could.
After the tour, the knight started to take off the heavy metal armor. A time consuming activity but with each plate that came off, Sir Lucas felt his body becoming lighter and lighter. A nutriënt meal followed together with an much needed repair of the Wolf Knight's armor. Finally Sir Lucas addressed his host as he spoke: "Thank thee kindly for such generous hospitality. By the Lunar Goddess her grace, I could not have landed in better hands then thours. I am ready to venture forth my journey. And have become curious as to this destination that thou feel is suited for my needs. I place my trust in your wisdom Atlantace and in that of Bloodbane's"
