In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

This is the plot the entire RPG is based from. All small plots are connected to this one. When characters discover more information regarding the blank points to the Collision of Darkness, the second post shall be edited accordingly.
A being is made of body, soul, and Heart.
When one with strong will becomes corrupted, their Heart falls to the depths of darkness to form a Heartless, and their empty shell becomes a Nobody. The strongest of those wills retain their human shape in both forms, and the strongest of Heartless are even capable of shifting their appearance.
To face this tide of darkness is light, for vital above all else to the Realms is balance. And Kingdom Hearts - the Heart of all - is what helps maintain it.
Balance is a fragile state that is now on the verge of shattering.
The hidden will rise and the fallen return. . . Realms will unite and divide. . . A war centered around the Heart will plunge the worlds into chaos.
A year has passed since supposed defeat of the Organization XIII at the hands of two keybladers, Sora and Riku. Yet from the shadows return the Nobodies of the Organization to the worlds - and with them rise their Heartless, summoned from the darkness by their king. -b l a n k (I)-
By the mysterious return of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, the Heartless of Ansem the Wise's apprentices have left of the Realm of Darkness and united to form The Dark XII. Both groups are one short of thirteen members, due to the restoration of both Sora's Heartless and Nobody.
The moment Xemnas, leader of the Organization, fell to the powers of Light in his own synthetic Kingdom Hearts, Ansem seized the opportunity to take control of The World That Never Was. However, the return of the Organization triggered a battle that ripped the world in two. Now the Nobodies control only half of their world, while the Dark XII have seized possession of the other; each now reside in a newly built castle while the silver citadel of the Castle That Never Was lays in ruin. The defeat of its master, Xemnas, and the catastrophic interference of Ansem the Wise brought the fortress to its knees.
One thing is missing; the brilliant Heart looming over the world like a still moon. Xemnas' synthetic Kingdom Hearts is gone. -b l a n k (II)-
The Nobodies of the Organization have the power to control lesser Nobodies, the Heartless of the Dark XII lesser Heartless.
Recently the population of lesser Heartless has increased dramatically. -b l a n k (III)-
Now the two powerful groups are hurtling towards a head-long collision to state their control over the World that Never Was and the castle at its center. Each have their own separate agenda; the Nobodies are yet again trying their hand at forging their own Kingdom Hearts, and the Heartless, with a similar intent, have their sights on devouring the lesser worlds to augment their own massive store of Hearts. Both groups - darkness and nothingness - are inadvertently working towards a creation besides their own Kingdom Hearts.
Unknown to them, soon a much larger target will appear to force them to rethink their goals and priorities.
In the meantime, the King has vanished. He had left Disney Castle just before it began falling slowly to the darkness, and has hardly been heard or seen since. -b l a n k (IV)-
Sora, Riku, and Kairi, after a year of respite on their beloved Islands, have all finally left for their own reasons. Scattered, the three are slowly helping bring the pieces back together, and fortunately they’re not alone.
The further the worlds plunge into turmoil, the greater the need for guardians of Light and protectors of worlds. The mysteries of the keyblades are proving to be more than myths as selective individuals are chosen to wield them. Even those who haven't been chosen to wield a key of Light have begun taking a stand for the noble, just as those with dark intent have begun hunting them down. It can only be hoped that enough heroes could be born in the chaos to help defend the worlds.
The playing pieces in this great game, however, are scattered; the wielders, the worlds, the heartless and the nobodies, the countless others who are to join a war as complex as it is inevitable; the tattered clues and secrets that must be both hidden and discovered, and upon discovery may change the fate of the universe.
What is the fate that befalls the worlds, and more importantly, Kingdom Hearts?

Revival "The hidden will rise and the fallen return. . ."
The Organization, having fallen one by one to the keybladers Riku and Sora until even their leader was destroyed, have enigmatically returned.
No Nobody, from Dusks to Twilight Thorns, can return after it has returned to darkness. So how is it the XIII still walk the worlds?
II
Flight "Realms will unite and devide. . ."
The black sky looms vacant above the mountain of ruin in The World That Never Was. The moon of harvested Hearts that once hung there is suddenly, inexplicably gone.
All that is reported is an odd shift in atmosphere a while after Ansem the Wise's device tore at the vessel of Hearts, and Xemnas both united with and destroyed his creation.
New! Mickey has discovered a connection between the synthetic Kingdom Heart's disappearance and the return of the Organization. All other details remain a hopeless enigma.

The Heartless population is rising steadily. Darkness is growing in all the worlds. What is going on?

The King ". . .shall plunge the worlds into darkness."
New! For months the King has been missing from the Realm of Light, supposedly on a mission of utmost secrecy. In truth, he'd been on a search for the mysteries behind the return of the Organization and the rise of the Dark XII.
One event during Mickey's travels usher him a step closer. While combing the broken castle in The World That Never Was for clues, a strange door approaches him and relays a strange series of images. One thing is clear: it is time for the King to return to the worlds. His quest cannot continue without the help of those of Light.
