In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Darkun was slightly humoured by that comment. Would he eat her? Along as Dawa didn't get out no. " You don't look very tasty" Darkun said half heartedly, laughing to himself. " So, ladies first?"
Darkun looked over towards the door to the Mansion. Darkun couldn't climb trees, or even more difficult was climbing back down, he was like a cat. He seeped into his shadow, re-appearing at the base of the tree, waiting for the girl to join him.
"Maybe I have finally found a friend,” he mumbled to himself.
She said to the suddenly empty air, "Er. Apparently not." Lily let go, swinging to the next branch below. In no great hurry, she made her way down. She dropped the last few feet, though with the branches the way they were she could very well have walked the whole way down.
But she dropped, and with her feet back on the ground she, amused as anything, said to the boy, "Only if you walk - not all of us can teleport, ya'see." Lily walked herself out from the tree. The setting-sun light was still bright out there.

Darkun looked at her, he was surprised by how well she was taking all of this, and regardless it was nice to have a friend at last. Well if you could count this girl as a friend, to him it was more like a mutual arrangement to explore a mansion.
" Its not telepo..." Darkun stopped, was there a point in trying to argue? " Fine." Darkun waited back slightly, he had his and her shadow ready to summon up to a shield at a seconds notice, you could never be too careful.
" As I said, after you" He motioned the girl forwards, wasn't it polite to do this? Regardless he stared at the mansion gates as if they where like some kind of gates to hell, mesmerising him. He gulped, and got ready to continue his journey to the truth... just what was he?
"I know," Lily said, and flashed him another grin. "But I can't do that either."
She started forward, for to her the wrought gates where perfectly inviting (not that even gates of bone and blood would put her off). When he wasn't right behind her, she looked back, to see him staring as though mesmerized. She grabbed his hand - growing up was overrated - and tugged. "Come on!"

Darkun was suddenly brought out of his trace, the girl as touching him, tugging on his hand. It felt strange to be touched; it was something that he wasn't used to. He didn't dislike it but being touched made him feel uneasy, it left too many openings for an attack and Darkun was over-protective of himself at all times.
Darkun phased his hand through the girls, his hand slipped directly through her hand, more than likely leaving a cold and eerie chill to most. " I'm coming, no need to tug me" he complained.
He slowly walked up after her, ensuring she was close enough to defend and ensuring he was close enough to defend against her if need be. He was at a disadvantage if she did, she knew his powers, but he knew nothing of hers. "So why are you here again?" He enquired, interested in keeping up small talk, there was a good chance he could get a friend out of this and that was one thing Darkun didn't want to squander.
((Mer. Okay - let me think. It only affects his physiology, not hers, so yes it works, her bizarre relationship with magic doesn't mess with it. Got it.))
His hand wasn't in her's anymore - he hadn't pulled it out, it just stopped being there, leaving a cool spot on her palm. She rocked to a stop -- "Huh?" -- looked at her hand, looked at him, looked back at her hand....
She thrust her hands out to him and, delighted, she demanded, "Do that again!" .

Darkun was shocked by the commotion that such a simple act had started. She was overjoyed, and Darkun felt it to. She had lurched her hands at him, and if he didn’t phase they would merely push him down. Phasing wasn't automatic for Darkun, it was for Dawa, but Darkun wasn't quite as good with his shadows as him so it actually required thought.
Her hands lurched at his chest; he made himself fully intangible, her hands passing directly through him. He stepped forwards, her arms being engulfed even more by his intangible torso. " I don't understand you... Most this would scare. Are you scared?" He stepped forwards whilst saying this, finally passing directly through the girl. Any normal human would have Goosebumps and be shivering with the cold; then again any normal human would be running scared.
He stood behind her now. Standing there; waiting for a response. " You’re quite hyper-active aren't you? " He spoke this in a happy tone, he wasn’t happy but he was close. This girl was the closest thing he’d ever had to a friend; yet he barely knew her.
((Oh, come on, she's more polite than that, she wont invade your personal space that badly. Just held her hands out between the two of them like he should take them in his hands.... nevermind, i went and lost clarity for style, I guess.
......
...
Post tomorrow. Lots of posts tomorrow. I need to stop being incoherent and go sleep now.))
((I should not type when I am tired. I apologize for that... what ever it is.))
"Scared? -- nah, I'm not good at that," Lily explained. "Never really got the hang of it, you know? Wow, that's cold!" she exclaimed as he walked right through her.
Her eyes where wide and bright, and she was grinning fit to split her face in two as she turned to answer his question. "They gave me meds for being manic once! But that just gave me headaches was all it did. It's not like molecular phasing, is it? Cause that's not really cold - Is it thuamogical? Cause if it is it must be turned all inward. But why would that make it cold?"

Darkun stared at the girl confused ... " mole... what now? I kinda don't remember much ... Should I know what that means?"Darkun said this a tad disheartened by the dawning fact that had just been pressed onto him even further that he wasn't going to get his memory back if fate had its way.
" It wasn't meant to be cold... I'm just very protective, being that close could of resulted in my fatality if you had attacked me ... Sorry." He said this rather straight faced considering he was talking about his own death, what a lovely subject he thought. He turned his back to the girl motioning her with him, " Come on lets get going theres somewhere I wanna see" He continued towards the door, flinging them open and walking inside.
Upon walking inside the mansion, which strangely enough didn't smell as musty as he would of thought, there was few cobwebs, and it seemed like people could of easily lived here. It was a nice enough house... or mansion, but the room he really wanted to see was up those stairs, he stopped, waiting for the girl behind him to catch up.
"Nha - not 'less you've had that science class. Now - waitwaitwait. It's cold cause you're nervous? But that's like, empathy, yeah? And that's usually a psionic sort of thing, so I couldn't feel it." Lily went on. The though of her own death largely didn't bother her, so it was sometimes hard for her to notice the feeling in other people. She completely missed it now. But she did poke the boy in the shoulder and say, "Don't be sorry. Not for tjhat."
The door wasn't locked. Inside - dusty light flooded in through the floor-to-ceiling windows at the far end, softening the abandoned, broken nature of the room and giving everything a mysteriously romantic sort of glow. And dusty. It was all very dusty.
Lily dropped down to her haunches, peering at the floor. That was interesting -- wasn't this place abandoned?

" Is there anything you want to see before we continue? The place I want to go will probably pre-occupy a lot of time..." He asked this out of pure selfless consideration, he knew that when he got to his destination there would be little that would drag him away, that is of course, if he could find what he was looking for.
Darkun walked forwards a few steps; the old mansion creaked slightly beneath him. He within a few metres of the old staircase, a slightly gurgled sound echoed. Several small portals appear around the two... Nobodies. "I don't have time for this,” He pleaded, as if trying to reason with the nobodies but; of course, to no avail. " Can you fight?" He turned and asked the girl, " If not I recommend you stay back.” Darkun had gained a friend and the last thing he wanted was for this friend to be torn from him.
Darkuns face was completely visible to the girl now, his hair brushed apart from his face, the strange markings; usually blue, now almost emanated a sort of darkness about them. " This is the part" Darkun struggled to get out the words, as if a large weight was over him." That I may /eat/ you if you get too close." Darkun tried to smile at the girl, although it may of came out as more of a whimper. As he finished the sentence he stopped struggling; the darkness consumed him. Tendrils of darkness seeped from his body, two large katana flashed to his hands, each with three blades. Dawa had taken over...
"Huh, I dunno. It's not like I've ever been here -- Oh hey those things." She wacked with interest as the tatterboy changed. That sure looked like one of those I-have-a-curse things, didn't it.... which would fit with the way he shyed away.
"No problem," she said unconcernedly. "I'll just stay over here." Definitely an I-have-a-curse thing.
One of the Dusks noticed her; it twisted and swolluped its way over. She grinned, not moving until it was close enough.
