In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"Oh, that. Nha, I'm a sport is all. I mean, I guess it's genetic, 'though I don't think anyone's figgered out how - like the allele sequencing an' all." Lily had the 'dex out now,and she flipped it open in a couple of directions as she spoke. "People keep telling me I shouldn't exist. That's always kinda funny, cause it's like, who decides something like that? Just cause I mess with their worldview..." She carefully framed the door in the screen and held it there. "It's great fun to get told I have no soul and no lifeforce." It was a bit odd -she didn't sound in the least sarcastic. She sounded like that sort of thing was honestly entertaining.

Darkun was a tad disturbed why the girl was talking like this, in all honesty he didn’t mean it in a bad way, it just came out wrong; this was always a problem for Darkun. Darkun walked away slowly, he began shifting through piles of rubble, letting the girl figure out the door “ Tell me if you manage to get it open, I’m gonna have a look through all this” He motioned towards the piles of rubble, but if he was lucky he would not have to do so for long.
He lifted taller and taller pieces of the rubble, looking for anything to give him a clue… nothing. There was nothing in this room, just rubble and useless computer things, most broken. He got up, walking back to the door “ Think you will be able to do it?” he asked, getting impatient, he hated being like this.
"Right," she said distractedly, her attention on the screen in her hands. She shifted position to take in a different angle, as she carried on her explanation in a preoccupied voice. "It's like, I have no magic for your magic to recognize - d'y'see? So there's nothing to pull on, or push at." She moved up closer, holding the box up to various parts of the door. "Huh. Anyway, It's the same with everything from telepathy to fireballs. I just don't figure I should be taking it for granted, so it's good to try things and see. Here we go then...."
Kneeling by the door now, she lay the 'dex down by her and pulled, from some pocket or another, a couple of long thin bits of metal. With another glance down at the screen, she started to fiddle at the lock with them.
She kept at it until the boy (she should ask his name probably) came to see how it was going.
"I did mention I'm not any good at this, right? It's mostly gonna be luck if I pull it off. It's a pretty simple lock, though, the physical part. Can you do a raw magic channel?"
Darkun looked at the girl blankly. She had no magick? Darkun had always been under the impression that Magick is what had kept people together, if there was no magick, there was no person. Someone without any magick, he thought about what to say, what would she say... " That’s cool I guess, you cant get hurt by magick." Yeah that sounded right.
Slowly he looked down to the lock " Raw magick channel?" He questioned, he had no idea how to draw upon only magick, and it had always been shadows that he had drawn, “I can try using a shadow I guess... Or" He stopped for a moment, considering something " I could try blowing up the lock... would that work?" He didn’t know if he could just blow up the lock. He wanted to get in but didn't want to destroy the door. " You keep at it, tell me when you want me to pour some magick in and ill give it a go" Darkun had really been changed by this girl.
"Well, it's a bit complicated. I'm not sure it would..... See," she picked up her 'dex and pointed a the screen so he could see, "This has a physical lock, a deadbolt, see,and that would blow up nice. Then it's got an electronic lock - that's easy, I can get that - and a magical seal. See, that's gonna be the problem - it's prolly attuned an' stuff. So tell me something -" she continued, "How paranoid was this person? And how deadly a thing is this guarding?"

Darkun looked at the small locking device. “ It must be something good behind there. Maybe there’s a clue to who I am…” Darkun rested his hand onto the lock with ease, letting it lay onto of the keyhole. Ok… a blast for the dreadlock. With that Darkun let a small slither of shadow creep into the lock and then had it expand obliterating the deadlock. Now would be the tricky part. The magic seal. Darkun let his energy seep into the lock once more, this time he imagined it being the energy that controlled his shadow rather than the shadow itself, it hit the magic lock. “ Ok, I’ve got it, get the other lock open, I don’t know how long I can hold this.” It was true; Darkun was un-educated at channelling raw energy so this may be difficult to keep for any length of time.
“ So…” Darkun asked almost in a whisper, “ What is your name… I am Darkun.”
"Right." She slapped the the 'dex up to the join. Strings of code - numbers and letters and stranger glyphs - chased each other across the screen to rapidly to follow.
Moving it to the next spot, she glanced at the boy. Darkun. She said gravely, "Thank you." And the work claimed her eyes again as the laughter reentered her voice. "I'm Lily, like as I said."

" Heh... nice to meet you I guess" Darkun may have said this however he was still busy contemplating what the strange glyphs and symbols could mean. " You can read that jargon" Was Darkuns immediate reply. It was true, Darkun could read and all, not very well, but he could read and write. But this strange language was like nothing Darkun had ever seen before and it made him curious.
" So... where are you from?" Darkun wanted to know where these strange letters where from more than where she was from, he was curious about her but then again that old saying popped in his head... Curiosity killed the cat.
" So... will it open?" With that Darkun glanced at the door staring at it.
"Yah, pretty much." This was only partly true - much of what crossed the screen was, in fact, gibberish. But the fact that the 'dex was largely sentient was too good a trick to give away that easily.
"I --" she started, and cried suddenly, "Got it! Go! Gogogo!" as she snatched the 'dex to herself and threw herself back from the door.

(( Im sorry if this is bad, its been like quite a number of months since I've done this xD))
Darkun was waiting patiently, it was something he was good at, when he looked at how long he had spent being merely alone, the thought of waiting whilst with company was overwhelming. Waiting, waiting, waiting for what? Would she say when Darkun should push the energy into the strange locking device, this could of all been avoided if she could have been phased through that little door – alas never linger on the past.
Just as Darkun was wandering into that little world inside his head, Lilly had yelled out, calling for the energy burst.
“Here goes everything” where Darkun’s only words before he forced the pure energy down the locking mechanism, sure it wasn’t the best at stability, but it was pure energy nonetheless. Darkun merely hoped that he had done it right.
Forcing the remaining energy into the magick lock, watching as Lily coward slightly to one side, the door rumbled slightly, then slowly slid to one side, concealing itself inside the wall.

"I don't know whats back here, but this is the last place I can remember since what I presume is bad memory loss." It was true infact, Darkun belived that he had lost all his memories, this was the first memory he had, this mansion, and now he and his new-founded friend where entering the last suspicious bit of the mansion. A very heavily bolted door.
" I will go first, stand near me ok?" And at the end of these words Darkun stepped forwards into the unkown room.

Darkun glanced around the pitch-black room, leaning slowly against the wall a small bleep sound was emitted. The lights flickered lightly, then turned on, the room illuminated. It was a pretty bland room, not much in particular in it, however, on the other side was yet another door. He took a few steps towards it, pressing the small button on its side. The door flung open, revealing a long corridor that stretched out and round a corner. Strange glasslike flower buds covered the walls.
Eventually, he reached the inner sanctum, a single; larger than the others, glass bud was open. What was this from? Was he in one of these? " I... I don’t know what’s going on, was I inside one of these? Do you know anything about them?"
Lily shook her head. "They look like something out of -- They look like something was born out of it. But the closed ones look empty..." She went over and ran her hand along one of the petals. "Feels like glass." She peered though the petal, crouching down to inspect the base. "Doesn't really bend light the way glass does, though. I dunno, there's additives that'll do that." She started to worm her way around the base, looking for anything.
