In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

(Not sure if my last post was supposed to be part of this upcoming order .... but since Ryu's whereabouts are unknown, and since both Doogie and Fearon are preoccupied with RP Academy, I've decided to move 627 into a different location. I expected to know where Kairi, Riku, and Ikari were, but their location to me is unknown, so I'm gonna take a cold guess. Besides, no point in interrupting an alread hectic fight)
The red experiment turned his attention away from the group of pesky humans, and towards those stupid thorns that mocked him on the walls. 627's maw opened wide, revealing his rather sharp decayed teeth. From it fired a small bolt of explosize plasma, soaring into the agressive thorns with a fiery fade. But it was to no avail, as the thick plants weren't even scorched at all by the alien's attack. Instead, the thorns spewed out a couple more waves of flames.
"Hraa! Evil! Evil!" 627 curled up into a red furry ball and rolled over to the wall, directly underneath the fire spitting thorns. The darkness had grown stronger ..... MAN .... it sure as hell infuriated 627's senses. It felt like this lead up into a nearby location ..... "Graaa!" 627 stubbornly charged through the halls, leaving behind the other humans for their own fiery demise. Along his way, he noted another scent ..... but whatever it was, 627 couldn't see, nor did he have the time. The experiment busted himself into the next available area ...... *Some scrambling around the place* ..... The red experiment found himself in some place with a pink-dressed red-head girl, and a light-clothed silver-head boy. Perhaps 627 can find answers out of these newcomers of strong scents ....
They're just appearing in the world... so the front castle grounds.... Thought it was fairly evident by how I described what they were looking at. Apparently not.
Still not sure what to do about Sora. >> Also... concerning Donald and Goofy, I'll be taking them over in the near future in this thread since they don't have respective RPers quite yet.
[Kairi]
Looking back from where it is that they appeared, Kairi frowned slightly... they couldn't keep waiting for Sora. She quickly turned her gaze back towards the castle and started for it, swinging her Keyblade at any of the Heartless that lunged for her. Unfortunately, unlike Riku and Sora, she hadn't been fighting with anyone with any wooden swords that were made. Kairi was learning, though... it just wasn't enough to make her as skilled as her two childhood friends.
"Riku! We need to get going!" she shouted, swinging her Keyblade at a Shadow Heartless. Sora had been away for all this time back when she was brought back to the Destiny Islands... Kairi was sure that Sora could handle a few Heartless and meet up with them at some point and time in the near future.
Nearing the thorns, Kairi grimaced in slight disgust. It was definitely the work of Maleficent... perhaps there was some kind of hope within the red-haired girl that thought that Maleficent would at least not cause so much trouble. The memories of what happened in The World That Never Was were apparently moot at that point and time as Kairi neared the doors of the castle. She frowned as she saw the doors were left ajar.
Really... where was Sora right when you needed him?
[Riku]
Turning his head to look at Ikari for a brief moment, Riku took off after Kairi, Way to the Dawn firmly in his grasp. It was a little odd to be using it again... it had been quite some time since the silver-haired teen had to summon it for anything. It's not that he really enjoyed fighting (unless, of course, they were mock fights between him and Sora), but he knew it to be necessary.
Dodging a Neo-Shadow, Riku swung his arm up in an uppercut fashion, hitting the Heartless and watching it fade away. Hnh... seemed as if their numbers were slowly growing.... Just who exactly was in the castle besides Maleficent? Perhaps that incompetent body of a 'sidekick', Pete. Whatever or whoever was here, Riku and the others would be finding out eventually.
Looking up at the doors to the castle, he looked to Kairi for a moment and then to the thorns. The castle in this state definitely didn't appeal to the teen... and he was going to do what he could to help aid the restoration of the King's world.
[Ikari]
Giving a slight flick of her black and maroon blade (more out of annoyance than anything else), she followed after Riku and Kairi. There were no questions to be asked, this world was in danger, it obviously meant a lot to whoever lived here and all three Kairi, Riku and Sora. Ikari had told them that she would offer her aid in any way that she could... and here was one way that she was going to do so.
Besides... the thought of if this place were Twilight Town raced through her mind for a moment. Her home world... where her only 'family' was... she would have been quite infuriated to say the least. So, all those thoughts in consideration? Yeah, Ikari was going to what she could to abide by what she had told Sora during Spring Break.
Pausing by Riku and Kairi, she noted that the doors were actually open... looked like there were bodies other than castle staff or residents inside. She turned to Riku and Kairi, furrowing her brow, "what am I to expect going in with you guys?" She waited for an answer.
Hearing Riku take in a breath, she got her response, "lots of Heartless... and perhaps battles that aren't as easy as the ones that you're used to...."
Anyone who was previously in this thread may post at anytime during the posting order and I will add you in on my next post. The 1 day IIC still stands unless you state you are busy that specific day and cannot post. And remember, try to keep the OOC out of this thread. Let the new posting order commence!]
So the man dodged the meteors. Snapping her fingers, Maleficent made another large portal of darkness so she didn't have to have the walls get smashed in by the giant meteors. And then the man decided to go aid his friend. Since she was left alone, Maleficent turned around, the wall of fire still up and protecting her. Touching the thorns on the wall, she let them spread some more. The thorny vines now spread even further out into the castle, going so far as into the castle grounds. At this rate, this castle wouldn't stand a chance. It brought a smile to her face as she summoned more heartless throughout the castle. "In a few moments, this castle will be mine..."[/color] She said to herself. She then turned around to see what was happening throughout the rest of the room, the wall of fire still being used as protection.
Some good words to hear as the green light shined over Maverick. Not only did it restore his bone powers, it also gave his injury to his stomach some relief. Turning to the boy who healed him Maverick said,
"Thank you, now let's take care of that witch". With that Maverick shot bone spikes all over his body. Though this time it was not for the Larch Dance. It was time for him to come up with another attack for this fight.
"My attack will only work if she isn't focused on me. I'll give you cover if you'll get her attention". Maverick said to the child hoping that his words can be trusted. --------------------------------------------------------------
"What other cause....is there...to fight for!"
Marluxia didn't know to laugh or or be insulted. Cause to fight for, there is none for him. His life will end either way in this fight. But now time to summon a Nobody that has not been viewed before. The Viper.
The red headed child was quick on his feet after all. Marluxia was somewhat impressed with the agility and reaction time this keybearer had. He might be a useful pawn. If only he could be isolated.
"Guard Light"!
Again? What good will this attack do. Sighing Marluxia started to jump into the air but quickly realized that the child was not using the Light itself as his weapon, but as a propeller. Marluxia was not able to get high enough to dodge the kick to his ankle that sent him back down to earth.
"Your determination is one to be admired. But I wonder. Is your Heart pure enough to use the Keyblade to it's full potential?"Marluxia said mockingly as he got up from the ground. Getting the child angry and questioning his powers was Plan-A right now.
"Do you think that Mickey can trust someone who can not be a firm follower of the light?. With those words Marluxia made a slight twitch of his fingers and his Viper Nobodies came crawling out of the Twilight. His scythe too had returned to its master.
(I think Rook (the person not the character) already knows what the Viper is. But those of you who dont. Look in the Members and their Nobodies thread)
(I was supposed to post after Marluxia but its ok)
The fire user's Healing Magic wasn't that bad after all. The casted green aura had healed the man's (Maverick) injuries while Mikael half-glanced at the sorceress (Maleficent). Getting rid of her would make the battle against the man in the black coat (Marluxia) a lot more easier.
"Thank you, now let's take care of that witch. My attack will only work if she isn't focused on me. I'll give you cover if you'll get her attention".
A few moments after he had spoken, bone spikes emerged from the red haired's body. It seemed that he had the power to manipulate his bone structure. But he was right, now was the time to get rid of the witch. "All right, let's see what I can do." Mikael started walking towards her, he had a plan inside his head. The blue fire that coated his swords changed its color to a bright orange. "I see you can use fire as well," he said, looking at the wall of fire. "But, is it strong enough to face mine?" The fire user raised one of the swords; several fireballs appeared near the ceiling, who would be launched towards Maleficent in four waves.
(Again, Randall doesn't have to react to anyone right now)
((Sorry, forgot we reinstituted the posting order. Fixed!))
Score one for Rook. He clenched a fist in what would have doubled for a victorious fist pump had he not known better. Still, a hit was a hit.
"Your determination is one to be admired. But I wonder. Is your Heart pure enough to use the Keyblade to it's full potential?"
Rook chuckled openly. This weapon found him almost as much as he found it. Pure Heart? Was that what the Keyblade sought in him? A weapon smart enough to seek out it's own wielder. And Rook found it ironically humorous how odd it was in choosing him.
"Do you think that Mickey can trust someone who can not be a firm follower of the light?"
Rook's face blanked. All of the sudden the light-hearted humor in his thoughts melted into a grimace. "Trust me? I couldn't care less if he trusts me. Or anyone else. All I know it that he asked me to help fight against those who would hurt innocent people... and that's enough."
The redhead looked around as the lacky Nobodies slithered into his peripherals. With a swing of his arm he resummoned the BlackJack and held it aloft, slowly spinning to catch a look at the numbers he now faced. He fought dozens of Shadows at a time back during the Thousands-Heartless War, maybe more. He knew the numbers game and how to play it... but these were something new. Something unearthly.
Rook shook his head, talking to Marluxia without looking at him, "Light, Dark, they don't matter to me. I'll be who I'll be but mark my words, I'll be remembered. I'm not letting you or anyone else make me another unknown name on a gravestone...I'll go out fighting!"
A raspy demonic panting followed after the silver-haired boy and his girly friend, both of which were moving onward towards the inevitably doomed castle. 627 did his best to hide in the darkest of spots, hopefully avoiding detection from any of these new beings. He wasn't at all stunned at the boy killing another one of those strange shadow creatures. "Pfft. Heheheheh!" In fact, the little red experiment felt that he could do a better job than these kids. Humans are pretty wimpy fighters after all. Perhaps he could introduce himself now, with another viscious welcome ..... "Evil" .... another human approached the two. And it was a second girl. Hmph. Girly warriors? What damage could these creampuffs POSSIBLY do to an invading army of darkness? ..... Still though .... these humans all had unique scents about them. The only boy in the group, the silver-haired one, he had a new alien smell lingering about. Even the girl in the pink clothing. She especially had some sort of new, pure scent.
"Grrrr ...... EVIL! EVIL!" 627 wasn't a fan of the horrid stench of darkness that slithered through the castle's halls. And he would love to get rid of such smells. But he despised the purity of total light much more. This light needs to be snuffed out. It wasn't because of anything personal against light, but 627 was geniusly programmed to do everything EXTRA evil. And light proved itself to be more annoying than anything else. "BLAAARGH!!!" The hostile red furball jumped out infront of the human trio. His pitch black eyes angrily stared at both the boy and the girl (Kairi). The second girl made no difference aside from being a snack. 627 flailed his four arms around the air as he slowly advanced on the group.
As Kairi was reaching for the handles of the castle door, she heard something-- it wasn't like a Heartless... no, those things made little to no sounds when they appeared. Whatever this thing was, it was running towards them. Turning her attention, Kairi came to be seeing... a koala type creature with more limbs than what koalas should be having. Giving a slightly disgusted look at this creature's appearance, Kairi tightened her grip on her KeyBlade.
She picked up on the fact that the little thing liked to say the word 'evil' constantly. Well... whatever it was, it certainly wasn't up to any good, and was perhaps something that was assisting Maleficent in trying to take over the Disney Castle. That thought was unnerving, to have so many different people wanting the castle... Why couldn't they be satisfied with their own world?
"Sora..." Kairi said quietly, hoping that he would appear in the world faster. There were so many things that seemed to be going wrong in this world, and it certainly didn't seem to be getting better or look to be getting better anytime soon.
[Riku]
As soon as the silver-haired teen saw that Kairi avert her attention from the castle doors, he turned his gaze as well, seeing a creature that looked very much like the one he had only caught a glimpse of when he had personal business in Radiant Garden. However, this one seemed to be a lot different than the one that he had seen. A lot more aggressive, that was for sure.
Furrowing his brow slightly, Riku held Way to the Dawn up high in his offensive stance. He wasn't going to avert his attention from this thing... whatever it was. He was here to defend the castle-- and if this thing was here to cause it harm, then it was something that Riku was going to fight.
Perhaps his competitive nature really did get the best of him sometimes-- being one that was raised with Sora and on the Destiny Islands, there were just some things out there that he was pretty confident about taking on. There was also the fact that Riku thought highly of himself, giving him that cocky, 'I'm better than you' kind of attitude that seemed very obvious when one saw him most of the time.
"Hikari, Kairi... go on ahead, I'll take care of things here," Riku said, not turning to face them.
[Ikari]
Using her real name? Ugh, Ikari didn't care for it all that much, but there Riku was the exception since she seemed to have a slight affinity for him. The little red animal thing wasn't something that Ikari was intimidated by... not in the least. It just seemed like a little kid with a horrible temper tantrum that was going about the castle grounds. She held Dragon's Flame out in front of her for a moment before she heard Riku telling them to go on ahead into the castle.
"Tch, fine... handle the little monster by yourself-- I expect to see ya inside, though, Silver!" Ikari said, a tad smug about it. Taking Kairi by the wrist lightly, Ikari opened the castle door, going inside with Kairi. It seemed very evident that the auburn-haired girl was very hesitant to leave her friend's side, as it was a little difficult getting her to come along with Ikari.
((My vote is for continuing it as it is for now, inform Cranlon about it, and let Sora enter when appropriate and convienent for both RPer and Character. Less hold-up on a good thread with too much hold-up already. We can fix the posting order afterwards.))
Okay... I can almost guarantee there will be some errors in this post. Tell me via PM if anything needs to be fixed, don't post here about it, the hordes of OOC's already filled it up enough >>;; Urg, rage! D|
Heroes were 'lazy individuals' one could say. Trouble always stirred up during their absence, and just when situations seemed grave, the light of hope dimming, they showed up in all their glory to save the day. Beat up the villain, get the girl, save the world. And they all lived happily ever after.
If only things were that easy...
No, Sora wasn't lazy par say (no matter what Riku said, or Kairi for that matter), he just seemed to have bad luck... in worsened situations. Interplanetary travel was vast and complicated, there was bound to be a few troubles here and there that could arise during certain situations. Perhaps he could have just taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque, wound up heading the wrong way and therefore, setting himself apart from the group. Luckily though, things worked out in the end, good luck striking through once more, managing to find his way to the destined, nay, needed, location.
A portal opened, whirring against the light that filled the castle and the overall world that several individuals referred to as a home. As the wielder of the keyblade, it was his duty to protect that and ensure that it stayed true for as long as it was needed. Large black shoes stepped foot on the ground, and soon, familiar brown spikes came into view. Gloved hands turned to light fists, arms rising up-- a slight yawn being heard with closed eyes from him.
... Oh yes, a grand entrance indeed.
However, the peaceful setting he'd have thought to appear in was all but gone as his blue eyes opened to view the scene, causing a slight jump from the boy.
"H-Huh?"
New nobodies...? What was going on? Without further questioning, he summoned his keyblade, tightening his grip 'round the handle, his mood sinking some as he found himself entering that same battle position he had done so many times before.
Looking around, he searched for things of familiarity that he would actually be glad to see. Lo and behold, there was; Riku, Ikari... Kairi, all here, all seeming fine for now. Safe.
He just hoped that safety would be around for much longer.
Mickey drew his attention to Marluxia and was determined to remove him from the castle first. He looked around the white room and noticed that he had been fighting mainly Rook. Mickey wanted to have a few others help force the Nobody from the castle so everyone could team up and take on the witch. He got into an offensive stance, Keyblade drawn and charged at the pink-haired man beside Rook.
"Rook, you take one side and I'll take the other!" the King shouted as they drew nearer. Where were the three teens for Destiny Islands? With their help Marluxia would be gone in a matter of minutes.

[Alright, I must apologize for not having posted. Quite a few things have been going on, and as it is now, I do not have time for a full post, so it will be quite short to address the attack that Shun made on Maleificent. The new posting order is below, Sora and Mickey simply tacked onto the end.
The boy who also seemed to use fire came back and decided to strike at Maleficent in a way to get the other person a bit of stalling time. Fat chance... A large dark portal appeared above Maleficents head as the fire would rain right into it and be lost to who knows where... Well Maleficent knew.... To the other dark portal above the other man [Maverick]. Seems instead of gaining Maleficent's attention, he had simply attacked his friend. "Oh dear... Seems that plan did not go completely according to plan... How awful..."[/color] She said, the sarcasm eminatting from her voice.
(Rook. I think now would be a good time to start are plan. So without further wait, let the maddness begin)
Good now to....WHAT!!??. Thats all Maverick could think as a dark portal opened in above him. Without thinking Maverick opened one around himself. Though....some of the fire that came out of the first one also made it into Mavericks.
Though Maverick was screaming in pain, no one could hear him. He could barely make his way out of the darkness.
Another portal opened up near the entrence door where Ikari and Kairi were walking in.
Maverick came limping out. Scorch marks and some fire still burning on his cloths. His face was burned up to. All he could say were these words.
"Heh. Looks like I failed you Little Mouse dude" Maverick fell to the ground. Not dead. Just "asleep". -----------------------------------------
Marluxia snapped his fingers and his Vipers darted off at Rook, and the King.
"Well, well, well. What a dysfunctional family we have here. But no matter. I'm going to take my prize and be on my way."
Marluxia gathered energy in his scythe's hilt. Time for a distraction. The Vipers hands started to glow a slight green. The Vipers have a very unique power. Any movement from the King. Roots will be wrapped around their ankles. Ha.
Marluxia smiled as he slammed the hilt to the ground. Three orbs of darkness spread amongst the ground. A flurry of razor petals shot out of the orbs. One large thorn vine inched their way out of each orb.
"You. Red Haired one. Tell me....do you fear the darkness?" Marluxia asked as he darted towards Rook while putting the Scythe away. Marluxia gave a simple wave of his arms and made the rose petals already in the air fly towards Rook. The instant Marluxia was right in front of Rook. He would drag him into the darkness.
(Rook, if you want to you can go ahead and add in the next part of the plan in your post)
